This study is about a method of extracting a summary from a news article in consideration of the importance of each sentence constituting the article. We propose a method of calculating sentence importance by extracting the probabilities of topic sentence, similarity with article title and other sentences, and sentence position as characteristics that affect sentence importance. At this time, a hypothesis is established that the Topic Sentence will have a characteristic distinct from the general sentence, and a deep learning-based classification model is trained to obtain a topic sentence probability value for the input sentence. Also, using the pre-learned ELMo language model, the similarity between sentences is calculated based on the sentence vector value reflecting the context information and extracted as sentence characteristics. The topic sentence classification performance of the LSTM and BERT models was 93% accurate, 96.22% recall, and 89.5% precision, resulting in high analysis results. As a result of calculating the importance of each sentence by combining the extracted sentence characteristics, it was confirmed that the performance of extracting the topic sentence was improved by about 10% compared to the existing TextRank algorithm.
Entity normalization, or entity linking in the general domain, is an information extraction task that aims to annotate/bind multiple words/expressions in raw text with semantic references, such as concepts of an ontology. An ontology consists minimally of a formally organized vocabulary or hierarchy of terms, which captures knowledge of a domain. Presently, machine-learning methods, often coupled with distributional representations, achieve good performance. However, these require large training datasets, which are not always available, especially for tasks in specialized domains. CONTES (CONcept-TErm System) is a supervised method that addresses entity normalization with ontology concepts using small training datasets. CONTES has some limitations, such as it does not scale well with very large ontologies, it tends to overgeneralize predictions, and it lacks valid representations for the out-of-vocabulary words. Here, we propose to assess different methods to reduce the dimensionality in the representation of the ontology. We also propose to calibrate parameters in order to make the predictions more accurate, and to address the problem of out-of-vocabulary words, with a specific method.
The narrative texts of industrial accident reports help to identify accident risk factors. They relate the accident triggers to the sequence of events and the outcomes of an accident. Particularly, a set of related keywords in the context of the narrative can represent how the accident proceeded. Previous studies on text analytics for structuring accident reports have been limited to extracting individual keywords without context. We proposed a context-based analysis using a Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithm to remedy this shortcoming. This study aims to apply Word2Vec of the NLP algorithm to extract adjacent keywords, known as word embedding, conducted by the neural network algorithm based on supervised learning. During processing, Word2Vec is conducted by adjacent keywords in narrative texts as inputs to achieve its supervised learning; keyword weights emerge as the vectors representing the degree of neighboring among keywords. Similar keyword weights mean that the keywords are closely arranged within sentences in the narrative text. Consequently, a set of keywords that have similar weights presents similar accidents. We extracted ten accident processes containing related keywords and used them to understand the risk factors determining how an accident proceeds. This information helps identify how a checklist for an accident report should be structured.

The purpose of this study is to understand the intention of the inquirer from the single text type question in Goal-oriented dialogue. Goal-Oriented Dialogue system means a dialogue system that satisfies the user's specific needs via text or voice. The intention analysis process is a step of analysing the user's intention of inquiry prior to the answer generation, and has a great influence on the performance of the entire Goal-Oriented Dialogue system. The proposed model was used for a daily chemical products domain and Korean text data related to the domain was used. The analysis is divided into a speech-act which means independent on a specific field concept-sequence and which means depend on a specific field. We propose a classification method using the word embedding model and the CNN as a method for analyzing speech-act and concept-sequence. The semantic information of the word is abstracted through the word embedding model, and concept-sequence and speech-act classification are performed through the CNN based on the semantic information of the abstract word.

A recent advance in communication technologies accelerates the spread of food safety issues once presented by the news media. To respond to those safety issues and take steps in a timely manner, automatically detecting related information from the news data matters. This work presents an AI-based system that detects risk information within a food-related news article. Experts in food safety areas participated in labeling risk information from the food-related news articles; we acquired 43,527 articles in which food names and risk information are marked as labels. Based on the news document, our system automatically detects food names and risk information by analyzing similarities between words within a text by leveraging learned word embedding vectors. Our AI-based system shows higher detection accuracy scores over a non-AI rule-based system: achieving an absolute gain of +32.94% in F1 for the food name category and +41.53% for the risk information category.
The study of literary texts is one of the earliest disciplines practiced around the globe. Poetry is artistic writing in which words are carefully chosen and arranged for their meaning, sound, and rhythm. Poetry usually has a broad and profound sense that makes it difficult to be interpreted even by humans. The essence of poetry is Rasa, which signifies mood or emotion. In this paper, we propose a poetry classification-based approach to automatically extract similar poems from a repository. Specifically, we perform a novel Rasa-based classification of Hindi poetry. For the task, we primarily used lexical features in a bag-of-words model trained using the support vector machine classifier. In the model, we employed Hindi WordNet, Latent Semantic Indexing, and Word2Vec-based neural word embedding. To extract the rich feature vectors, we prepared a repository containing 37 717 poems collected from various sources. We evaluated the performance of the system on a manually constructed dataset containing 945 Hindi poems. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed model attained satisfactory performance.

As the number of Internet users exploded, attacks on the web increased. In addition, the attack patterns have been diversified to bypass existing defense techniques. Traditional web firewalls are difficult to detect attacks of unknown patterns. Therefore, the method of detecting abnormal behavior by artificial intelligence has been studied as an alternative. Specifically, attempts have been made to apply natural language processing techniques because the type of script or query being exploited consists of text. However, because there are many unknown words in scripts and queries, natural language processing requires a different approach. In this paper, we propose a new classification model which uses byte pair encoding (BPE) technology to learn the embedding vector, that is often used for web attack payloads, and uses an attention mechanism-based Bi-GRU neural network to extract a set of tokens that learn their order and importance. For major web attacks such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting, and command injection attacks, the accuracy of the proposed classification method is about 0.9990 and its accuracy outperforms the model suggested in the previous study.

The use of social media is already essential as a source of information for listening user's various opinions and monitoring. We define social 'risks' that issues effect negative influences for public opinion in social media. This paper aims to discriminate various linguistic features and reveal their effects for building an automatic classification model of social risks. Expecially we adopt a word embedding technique for representation of linguistic clues in risk sentences. As a preliminary experiment to analyze characteristics of individual features, we revise errors in automatic linguistic analysis. At the result, the most important feature is NE (Named Entity) information and the best condition is when combine basic linguistic features. word embedding, and word clusters within core predicates. Experimental results under the real situation in social bigdata - including linguistic analysis errors - show 92.08% and 85.84% in precision respectively for frequent risk categories set and full test set.
As time goes by, the amount of data is increasing regardless of government, business, domestic or overseas. Accordingly, research on big data is increasing in academia. Statistics is one of the major disciplines of big data research, and it will be interesting to understand the research trend of statistics through big data in the growing number of papers in statistics. In this study, we analyzed what studies are being conducted through abstract data of statistical papers in Korea and abroad. Research trends in domestic and international were analyzed through the frequency of keyword data of the papers, and the relationship between the keywords was visualized through the Word Embedding method. In addition to the keywords selected by the authors, words that are importantly used in statistical papers selected through Textrank were also visualized. Lastly, 10 topics were investigated by applying the LDA technique to the abstract data. Through the analysis of each topic, we investigated which research topics are frequently studied and which words are used importantly.
In this paper, we propose the possibility of introducing chaotic sequences into digital watermarking systems as potential substitutes to commonly used pseudo noise sequences. Chaotic sequences have several good properties including the availability of a great number of them, the ease of their generation, as well as their sensitive dependence on their initial conditions. And the quantization does not destroy the good property. So this paper proposes a method that transforms Hangul text to chaotic sequence. And we presents how the Hangul text is expressed by an implied data and the implied data is regenerated into the original text. In this paper, we use this implied Hangul text for watermarking.
