  • IALA Guideline 1132 is intended to assist authorities in implementing the procedures described in IALA Recommendation R1012: VTS Communications with the objective of harmonizing VTS communications through the use of standard message structure and phraselogly. For this reason, it is recommended that VTS Authorities put adequate procedures in place to ensure its consistent and correct implementation for the actual VTS operation as is now being considered in IALA as part of the VTS English language proficiency test. In light of the 2022 publication of IALA Guideline 1132: VTS Voice Communications and Phraseology, in this sense, the potential evaluative variables will be studied in the context of this presentation.

  • The Purpose of this study was to present the procedures and methods of ordering theory, and to search for a learning hierarchy among science process skills in each Piagetian cognitive reasoning level. One of the purpose of this is not to determine the clear and exact hierarchy but rather to demonstrate how ordering theoretic methods and procedures can be used to determine the hierarchy of logical relationships among a set of test items or the testing of a hypothesized hierarchy. Ordering theory was used to analyze five science process skills collected from 509 high school students. Ordering Theory has as its primary intent either the testing of hypothesized hierarchies among items at the determination of hierchies among items. Hierarchical relationships were identified within five science process skills. The results will be helpful in giving useful inform at ions to classroom teachers and science curriculum developer.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the noise abatement procedures in Kimhae International Airport and also make noise limit and methods to monitor and detect an aircraft flying over Kimhae airport. First of all, noise monitoring system(NMS) should be set up, have a test and noise limit will be adjusted afterwards. Before applying Noise Abatement Procederes and noise limit, the amendment of Aviation Law 'article 108' required to proceed. The accumulative data and long term process of NMS will proceed and it is necessary to issue a notification of noise limit in phases.

  • This paper is part of an ongoing project of KEPCO; 'A Study on Criteria and Standards for Transmission System Planning', The objective of this project is to develop the standards and procedures for transmission system planning. This involves reviewing published literatures, other documents of existing criteria and procedures, and various case studies of advanced countries which are already under the competitive electricity industry. This paper presents the result of evaluating Korean Power System as a pre-study for developing the Planning Standards of Korean Power System. For this, WSCC/NERC's performance criteria for planning transmission system, and KEPCO's 'Long Term Transmission System Planning Criteria' are considered. By doing this, the level of performance criteria which should be applied to Korean Power System and the detailed procedures which would be used in system test were reviewed.

  • It is anticipated that quality assurance for the Ka band Communication Payload System(COPS) development program of the Communication, Ocean & Meteorological Satellite(COMS) may be a core technical factor to be concerned in order to avoid any failure, and to assure its performance during the mission lifetime in space. Those can be managed and verified and assessed by performing the Quality Assurance (QA) and risk management which helps to prevent and reduce the critical fails. This paper introduces the Product Assurance (PA) system and procedures for Ka band Communication Payload System which was established and performed during the Qualification Model (QM) manufacturing phase. In this paper, we present detailed process for the products manufactured by local companies according to PA procedures operated through whole phases from design to test of equipment. Also this paper shows Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and detailed their processes for assured the product quality manufactured by local companies.

  • The purpose of this paper is to present reliability analysis procedures for repairable systems and apply the procedures for assessing the reliabilities of two subsystems of a specific group of military equipment based on field failure data. The mean cumulative function, M(t), the average repair rate, ARR(t), and analytic test methods are used to determine whether a failure process follows a renewal or non-renewal process. For subsystem A, the failure process turns out to follow a homogeneous Poisson process, and subsequently, its mean time between failures, availability, and the necessary number of spares are estimated. For subsystem B, the corresponding M(t) plot shows an increasing trend, indicating that its failure process follows a non-renewal process. Therefore, its M(t) is modeled as a power function of t, and a preventive maintenance policy is proposed based on the annual mean repair cost.

  • Nonparametric procedures in randomized block design was proposed by Friedman (1937) as a general alternative. This method is used to find out the difference in treatment effect. It can cause a loss of inter block information using the ranking in each block. This paper proposed nonparametric procedures using an aligned method proposed by Hodges and Lehmann (1962) to reduce block information based on joint placement suggest by Jo and Kim (2013) in a randomized block design. We also compared the power of the test of the proposed procedures and established method through a Monte Carlo simulation.

  • Mack and Skillings (1980) proposed nonparametric procedures in a randomized block design with replications as general alternatives. This method is used to find the difference in the treatment effect; however, it can cause a loss of inter block information using the ranking in each block. In this paper, we proposed new nonparametric procedures in a randomized block design with replications using an aligned method proposed by Hodges and Lehmann (1962) that used information of blocks and based on the joint placement suggest by Chung and Kim (2008). We also compared the power of the test of the proposed procedures and established a method through Monte Carlo simulation.
