  • In a new technological environment such as big data and AI, LOD will link record information resources with various data from both inside and outside. At the heart of this connection is the interlinking technology, and interlinked LOD will realize the opening of record information as the highest level of open data. Given the ever-increasing amount of records, automation through interlinking algorithms is essential in building LODs. Therefore, this paper analyzed the structure of record information interlinking with the external data and characteristics of the record information to be considered when interconnecting. After collecting samples from the CAMS data of the National Archives, we constructed a record information's LOD. After that, we conducted a test bed that automatically interlinks the personal information of the record metadata with DBPedia. This confirms the automatic interlinking process and the performance and accuracy of the automation technology. Through the implications of the testbed, we have identified the considerations of the record information resources of the LOD interlinking process.

  • It is not good joint that today's traffic control system that the course of traffic volume increase tendency is followed, in the traffic volume is approched into the time of my car. Accordingly when we analyzed the existing traffic signal control system, the traffic signal system is developed from the machine type that the motor was centered, to get up to date, to the intelligence electron signal control system. But yet, when we have a test and a A/S on the control circuit, the circuit that is designed to the center IC and ROM are complicated. Also, the time of pass lamp that the car line stream is going, can not extended automatically a time till the traffic volume is decreased to the same direction. This theme must be a real time intelligence control system that the time of pass lamp can extend aumatically. The circuit of sequence ladder diagram on the traffic signal control of a crossroads that is desinged, can be satisfied the complicated vehicle order. Therefore when the circuit is changed, the new developed system is economical with that dosen't needs any of components to require the circuit equipment, and the time is saved with needlessness of the circuit wiring again, and have a much trustworthy. The control method of pass signal lamp in the car line stream connecting among PLC and Relay and Temp Sensor, can be changed to hand operation and to semi-automation and to all-automation. New intelligence traffic signal system is composed with all-together system of T Sensor + Video Camera + IBM PC that is able to guiding the establishment of traffic order.

  • Agriculture production is a critical human intensive task, which takes place in all regions of the world. The process to grow and harvest crops is labor intensive in many countries due to the lack of automation and advanced technology. Much of the difficult, dangerous and dirty labor of crop production can be automated with intelligent and robotic platforms. We propose an intelligent, agent-oriented robotic team, which can enable the process of harvesting, gathering and collecting crops and fruits, of many types, from agricultural fields. This paper describes a novel robotic organization enabling humans, robots and agents to work together for automation of gathering and collection functions. The focus of the research is a model, called HARMS, which can enable Humans, software Agents, Robots, Machines and Sensors to work together indistinguishably. With this model, any capability-based human-like organization can be conceived and modeled, such as in manufacturing or agriculture. In this research, we model, design and implement a technology application of knowledge-based robot-to-robot and human-to-robot collaboration for an agricultural gathering and collection function. The gathering and collection functions were chosen as they are some of the most labor intensive and least automated processes in the process acquisition of agricultural products. The use of robotic organizations can reduce human labor and increase efficiency allowing people to focus on higher level tasks and minimizing the backbreaking tasks of agricultural production in the future. In this work, the HARMS model was applied to three different robotic instances and an integrated test was completed with satisfactory results that show the basic promise of this research.

  • The motor applied to electric water pump used in automobiles is the canned type motor structure. The rotor, which is the driving component of the motor, is located in the bulkhead structure of the plastic injection molding, and rotates while immersed in the antifreeze. Plastic Injection Stator is placed on the outside of the bulkhead structure so that the rotor can rotate. The configuration of the rotor consists of magnet, core and shaft. In the case of magnet and core, it is very important to keep the parts sealed because it is a material that is corroded by moisture. When mounted on a vehicle, it must be capable of driving at $120^{\circ}C$ ambient conditions and should not leak under pressure of 1 bar or more. In this paper, we designed and implemented a Leak inspection automation system using helium to check the defects of the electric water pump developed satisfying this condition.

  • The domestic auger-drilled pile method generally manages the driving penetration (set) value with the final stage of construction. The penetration value has been estimated by manual measurement for a long time. The automation technology is yet to be applied due to workability and high-cost limitations, despite safety issues and lack of reliability in measured results. In this study, a non-contact pile penetration measurement device was developed. Further, the field performance was verified by comparing the measurements with a conventional automation device. In addition, the on-site field quality control method was analyzed using the penetration measuring device. The field experiments confirmed that more reliable bearing capacity estimation could calculate the dynamic damping coefficient and the modified Hiley formula with the developed device. Furthermore, it can be used for pile construction management from the bearing capacity viewpoint, even for piles not subjected to dynamic load tests.

  • This study presents a system for validating the PLC code in the virtual environments of automobile trim line. There have been considerable efforts to develop standard PLC editors for saving human power and PLC test time. However, it was difficult to apply the PLC editor on a real shop floor environment. A virtual equipment was developed to communicate with the PLC module of a shop floor and to make up the connectivity environment by a special protocol. We can validate the code without launching real equipments because the PLC module and the virtual equipment is able to be controlled in real time by the OPC protocol. An experimental model is applied to the final assembly line of an automotive industry and validated by using DELMIA Automation. In conclusion, the system is valuable in the process of PLC codes validation and virtual equipments operation. This system would reduce the development time of the PLC codes and improve the productivity and the integrity of the PLC codes.

  • With climate change and the global population growth, the frequency and scope of wildfires are constantly increasing, which threatened people's lives and property. For example, according to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, in 2020, a total of 9,917 incidents related to wildfires were reported in California, with an estimated burned area of 4,257,863 acres, resulting in 33 fatalities and 10,488 structures damaged or destroyed. At the same time, the ongoing development of technology provides new tools to simulate and analyze the spread of wildfires. How to use new technology to reduce the losses caused by wildfire is an important research topic. A potentially feasible strategy is to simulate and analyze the spread of wildfires through computing technology to explore the impact of different factors (such as weather, terrain, etc.) on the spread of wildfires, figure out how to take preemptive/responsive measures to minimize potential losses caused by wildfires, and as a result achieve better management support of wildfires. In preparation for pursuing these goals, the authors used a powerful computing framework, Spark, developed by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), to study the effects of different weather factors (wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, and relative humidity) on the spread of wildfires. The test results showed that wind is a key factor in determining the spread of wildfires. A stable weather condition (stable wind and air conditions) is beneficial to limit the spread of wildfires. Joint consideration of weather factors and environmental obstacles can help limit the threat of wildfires.

  • The shielding effectiveness of materials is determined by measuring the ratio of the incident electromagnetic power to that which passes through the material under test. The measurement system is constructed using several test fixtures, tracking generator, spectrum analyzer, step attenuator, RF switches, and amplifiers, etc.. The automation of measurements is completed using a personal computer. Especially, incident power, reflected power, and transmitted power are measured with only one spectrum analyzer using a dual directional coupler and RF switches. Therefore the system is to be used in design of shielding materials, as well as shielding effectiveness measurements. This system has dynamic range of more than 120 dB in the frequency range of 10 MHz to 1 GHz, and it can be used to measure shielding effectiveness of composite materials.

  • An experiment was performed to obtain the local heat transfer coefficient and Nusselt number in a circular duct with a 180$^{\circ}$ bend for Re=6 x 10$^4$, 8 x 10$^4$ and 1 x 10$\^$5/ under swirling flow and non-swirling flow conditions. The test tube with a circular section was made from stainless steel having a curvature ration of 9.4. Current heat flux of 5.11 kW/㎡ was applied to the test tube by electrical power and the swirling motion of air was produced by a tangential inlet to the pipe axis at 180$^{\circ}$. Measurements of local wall temperatures and the bulk mean temperatures of air were made at four circumferential positions at 16 stations. The wall temperatures showed a reduced distribution curve at the bend for the non-swirling flow, but this effect did not appear for the swirling flow. The Nusselt number distributions for the swirling flow, which was calculated from the measured wall and the bulk temperatures, were higher than that of the non-swirling flow. The average Nusselt number of the swirling flow increased by about 90-100%, compared to that of the non-swirling flow. The Nu/Nu$\_$DB/ values at the 90$^{\circ}$ station for non-swirling flow and swirling flow were approximately 2.5 and 4.8 at Re=6x10$^4$ respectively. The values agree well with Said's results for non-swirling flow.
