We have developed photosensitive electrochromic smart windows that does not require any transparent conducting oxide (TCO) substrate. In our previous study, we demonstrated that a flexible film-type device made with a low temperature curing WO₃ sol and TiO₂ sol could show a reversible and rapid switching between colored and bleached state via incorporation of platinum catalysts on the surface of WO₃ layer. However, when these devices were exposed to sunlight over 4 hour, it was confirmed that they did not return to fully bleached state in the darkened state due to their overcoloring process. In this study, we added 4-hydroxy-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-yl)oxyl (TEMPOL) as an additive to the electrolyte of photosensitive electrochromic device to effectively prevent the undesired overcoloring process. The resulting device with TEMPOL indeed did not undergo excessive coloration and showed great reversibility even after being exposed to sunlight for over 4 hours. Various concentrations of TEMPOL were applied to compare changes in the visible transmittance and coloring/bleaching kinetics of devices. In terms of energetic point of view, we proposed a plausible mechanism of TEMPOL to prevent excessive coloration.

Natural gas consumption in Asia is growing at fast tempo because of various factors such as economic growth in the region, urbanization, coal-to-gas switch at power and industry sector. Due to geographical characteristics and lack of international pipeline connections between countries in the continent, majority of natural gas exported to Asian consumers is transported by tankers on the sea in the form of liquefied natural gas. As Asian market is the most lucrative market with the fastest demand growth, the competitions between LNG sellers for market share in Asian market are strengthening. The competitions accelerated, especially after the introduction of large volume of incremental supply into the market by new exporters from the U.S., Australia, and Russia. Cheniere Energy, the first exporter of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the lower 48 states of U.S. has not adopted the traditional price formation mechanism and business model. Traditionally, prices of long-term LNG contracts have been indexed to the price of competing fuels, such as crude oil. The company adopted a pricing mechanism and business model based on a cost-plus system. Cheniere Energy opted for the safer and the risk-free pricing system, that annually guarantees a fixed amount of revenue to the seller. The company earns the same amount of money, regardless of natural gas price dynamics in the domestic and international market, but possibly with less revenue. However, by introducing and successfully implementing the safer and risk- free business model, Cheniere Energy, a company of a relatively smaller size in comparison with major oil and gas companies, became an example to other smaller-sized companies in the U.S. The company's business model demonstrated how to enter and operate LNG business amid increasing competitions among sellers in the U.S. and international market.

Playing musical instruments has long been a hobby enjoyed by many, whether amateur or professional. However, a lot of long and arduous practice is required if one wants to acquire the skills of musical artist and truly enjoy the pleasure of playing. This repetitive and tedious practice is often a hindrance to the process of learning a musical instrument, and numerous educators have put a lot of research and effort into making the process easier and more fun for students. In addition, various media practice tools are being developed to keep the students engaged and having fun. The core elements of this content primarily include controlling the speed of backing tracks in accordance with the skill level of students and providing a backing ensemble that enables them to enjoy the fun of playing. This paper studies and compares various MIDI playback techniques capable of controlling speed and pitch in smartphone applications. Modern applications of these techniques are seen in music educational contents, as well as entertainment contents. It also discusses the development and launching of Upbeat, a drum-loop metronome that automatically increases speed by applying different techniques to its respective smartphone operating systems, Android OS and iOS.

This study reconsidered the characteristics of the narrative through the analysis of the meaning and function of the film music in the feature film "The Truman Show". Especially, this study was focused on the music of Philip Glass among the film music of this film, and it started from the analysis of his musical meaning and function written in the pre-existing film according to the use of the editing music. As the film music needs to be analyzed from the viewpoint of the storytelling of the narrative of the film, the music is analyzed through 12 functions of the background music. Throughout the film, Philip Glass's music has been very important in the scenes of amplification, climax, and resolution of conflict. Especially, in the important context of the character and narrative structure of the film, such as the amplification of the tension and the resolution of the tension in the conflict of Truman, the main character of the film, Philip Glass's music is important through the contrast of the tempo of music and the contrast of emotional character. It can also be understood that this contrasts with the character and storytelling of the film in terms of film musical contrasts.

Questa tesi tratta di due aspetti. Primo, i giullari erano coloro che hanno fatto la satira sulle contraddizioni della societa medievale quasisempre da soli. Gli oggetti della satira erano in gran parte la classe dominate e gli ecclesiastici. Particolarmente chi governa, opprime e sfrutta il popolo come i padroni, i ricchi, gli aristocratici, i mercanti, i re, i sindaci, i militari, e chi rappresenta i sovrani come il papa, i vescovi, e i cardinali. Anche la satira del Fo moderno si rivolge contro gli stessi. Perché anche se il tempo passa, la situazione non è quasi cambiata. Quei soggetti fanno azioni ipocrite in un ambito schematico e dogmatico, e non fanno conoscere al popolo la loro situazione d'inuguaglianza. Perciò Fo ritiene che la situazione disperata del popolo è la stessa, sia nel medievo sia oggi. Secondo, voglio fare vedere che i giullari fanno la satira pungente della classe dominante, e degli ecclesiastici ma non rinnegano la cristianità. E anche gli estremisti che talvolta erano i monaci diventati giullari, dicono che se vogliamo dare dignità alla Chiesa di Cristo dobbiamo distruggere la Chiesa. E per distruggere la Chiesa dobbiamo distruggere chi la governa, il papa, i vescovi, e i cardinali. Ma anche loro, in quel caso, non rinnegano la cristianità in sè stessa. Poiché Dio (il Padreterno) rappresenta i padroni e i sovrani è odiato, mentre e' sempre amato Gesù Cristo da tutti i giullari, gli estremisti e anche il popolo, ché egli è Dio che viene sulla terra a cercar di ridare la primavera agli uomini e si sacrifica come Dioniso. E soprattutto è considerato come il simbolo della resistenza contro la inugualglianza, e dell'amore e della dignità fondamentale degli uomini. Nei nove testi di Mistero Buffo, i giullari e Fo considerano sempre molto importante la dignità degli uomini. E Cristo è il simbolo di questa dignità. Così i testi in Mistero Buffo hanno sempre una forte connotazione, non sono soltanto una satira sulla classe dominante e gli ecclesiastici ma contengono anche in definitiva la volontà di ricercare la restaurazione della dignità degli uomini e dello spirito di Cristo.

In this study, the evaluation of performance of AORFB using methyl viologen and TEMPOL as organic active materials in neutral supporting electrolyte (NaCl) with various membrane types was performed. Using methyl viologen and TEMPOL as active materials in neutral electrolyte solution, the cell voltage is 1.37V which is relatively high value for AORFB. Two types of membranes were examined for performance comparison. First, when using Nafion 117 membrane which is commercial cation exchange membrane, only the charge process occurred in the first cycle and the single cell couldn't work because of its high resistance. However, when using Fumasep anion exchange membrane (FAA-3-50) instead of Nafion 117 membrane, the result was obtained as the totally different charge-discharge graphs. When current density was $40mA{\cdot}cm^{-2}$ and cut off voltage range was from 0.55 V to 1.7 V, the charge efficiency (CE) was 97% and voltage efficiency (VE) was 78%. In addition, the discharge capacity was $1.44Ah{\cdot}L^{-1}$ which was 54% of theoretical capacity ($2.68Ah{\cdot}L^{-1}$) at $10^{th}$ cycle and the capacity loss rate was $0.0015Ah{\cdot}L^{-1}$ per cycle during 50 cycles. Through cyclic voltammetry test, it seems that this difference in the performance between the full cell using Nafion 117 membrane and Fumasep anion exchange membrane came from increasing resistance due to chemical reaction between membrane and active material, not the capacity loss due to cross-over of active material through membrane.

In 2017, the U.S. DARPA coined 'mosaic warfare' as a new way of warfighting. According to the Timothy Grayson, director of DARPA's Strategic Technologies Office, mosaic warfare is a "system of system" approach to warfghting designed around compatible "tiles" of capabilities, rather than uniquely shaped "puzzle pieces" that must be fitted into a specific slot in a battle plan in order for it to work. Prior to cover mosaic warfare theory and recent development, it deals analyze its background and several premises for better understanding. The U.S. DoD officials might acknowledge the current its forces vulnerability to the China's A2/AD assets. Furthermore, the U.S. seeks to complete military superiority even in other nation's territorial domains including sea and air. Given its rapid combat restoration capability and less manpower casualty, the U.S. would be able to ready to endure war of attrition that requires massive resources. The core concept of mosaic warfare is a "decision centric warfare". To embody this idea, it create adaptability for U.S. forces and complexity or uncertainty for the enemy through the rapid composition and recomposition of a more disag g reg ated U.S. military force using human command and machine control. This allows providing more options to friendly forces and collapse adversary's OODA loop eventually. Adaptable kill web, composable force packages, A.I., and context-centric C3 architecture are crucial elements to implement and carry out mosaic warfare. Recently, CSBA showed an compelling assessment of mosaic warfare simulation. In this wargame, there was a significant differences between traditional and mosaic teams. Mosaic team was able to mount more simultaneous actions, creating additional complexity to adversaries and overwhelming their decision-making with less friendly force's human casualty. It increase the speed of the U.S. force's decision-making, enabling commanders to better employ tempo. Consequently, this article finds out and suggests implications for Korea armed forces. First of all, it needs to examine and develop 'mosaic warfare' in terms of our security circumstance. In response to future warfare, reviewing overall force structure and architecture is required which is able to compose force element regardless domain. In regards to insufficient defense resources and budget, "choice" and "concentration" are also essential. It needs to have eyes on the neighboring countries' development of future war concept carefully.

The musical characteristics of Fishing songs in North Korean which recorded on Anthology of North Korean Folk Songs were examined in this paper. The results are as follows. Among Fishing songs in North Korea, there are "Rowing Song," the "Song for Hauling Nets," and the "Song for Picking Up Fish" in songs related to walleye pollack fishing and in songs related to croaker fishing, the "Song for Dropping Anchor" and the "Full-Load-of-Fish Song" in songs related to croaker fishing, the "Song for Weighing Anchor," the "Song for Shaking Fish," the "Full-Load-of-Fish Rowing Song," and the "Song for Hanging Walleye Pollack" in songs related to walleye pollack fishing. There are the "Song for Setting a sail" and the "Song for catching shells" in Fishing songs in North Korea, too. In the rhythmic elements of Fishing songs in North Korea, the tempo of the "Songs for Setting a sail" is moderato, and that of the "Songs for Picking Up Fish" of songs related to anchovy or herring fishing is quite slow. "Rowing Songs"(croaker fishing) have various tempos but faster than moderato, and usually get faster and faster as time goes by. Most songs have 4/♩. time and there are some of 2, 3 or 5 time. Some songs use irregular time or 6 time overlapping 2 beats. The mode Menari is the most common tonal system used in fishing songs of North Korea. And the mode Susimga, the mode Changbutaryeong, the mode Nanbongga, and the mode Odolttogi are also used in the tonal system of Fishing songs in North Korea. There are shoutting intonations that have indefinite pitch, too. Modulation or interaction by the mode Changbutaryeong appeared in songs of the mode Menari. There is a tendency to favor a certain tonal system by category. Responsorial form is mostly used, but in the most cases, they were sung in solo. In responsorial songs, several calling songs overlap with the responding songs. Durchkomponiert form is sung by antiphon or in solo, but the case sung in solo originally seems to have been sung by antiphon or unison, if we consider the procedure of the work. The "Song for Picking Up Fish" of Seonbong-gun of North Hamgyeong Province and Yangyang-gun of Gangwon Province, the "Full-Load-of-Fish Song-Bongjuktaryeong" of Jeungsan-gun of South Pyeongan Province and "Full-Load-of-Fish Song-Baechigisory" of Taean-gun of South Chungcheong Province, "Rowing Song" of Nampo City and Ganghwa-gun of Gyeonggi Province are resembled. In neighboring areas, even if the songs of different categorys, sometimes share a same melody. In a certain category, sometimes a same melody is shared to a considerable distance. It was first identified that in anchovy or herring fishing or dybowskii' sand eel fishing, the "Song for Picking Up Fish" is widely shared in the East Sea Coast area.
