  • 비행조종작동기 제어용 파일럿 밸브의 내부 유동 및 응답 특성을 분석하기 위해 캐비테이션 모델과 격자 이동 기법을 사용하여 정상/비정상 유동의 수치 해석을 수행하였다. 작동 온도와 시간에 따른 밸브 내부 유동을 분석한 결과, 일정 온도 이상에서 밸브 특성이 안정되는 현상을 발견하였고 캐비테이션이 밸브 성능에 미치는 영향성을 파악하였다. 밸브 내부 압력과 응답 특성을 분석하였으며 비정상 유동이 발달하여 정상 유동 특성과 일치하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 우리나라에서 수막재배가 주로 이루어지는 수변지역에서는 수막재배 성수기 말기에 지하수위 하강이 심하게 나타나는 문제점이 있으며, 이러한 지하수위 하강과 지하수 자원 고갈의 문제는 인근 하천수와의 연계 특성을 고려할 때 효율적으로 해결할 수 있을 것이다. 이 연구에서는 수막재배지에서의 지하수와 하천수와의 연계성 및 지하수 대수층에 미치는 하천수의 영향 범위를 논의하기 위해, 지하수의 토출온도, 지하수와 하천수의 산소 수소 안정동위원소 조성 변화 특성을 검토하였다. 연구지역은 딸기 수막재배지로 잘 알려진 논산시 광석면 왕전리 지역이며, 지하수와 하천수의 시료 채취는 2010년 2월부터 2011년 6월까지 실시되었다. 지하수의 수온 분포 패턴에 의하면, 하천수의 영향은 주로 수막재배지의 우측 부분에서 넓은 범위에 걸쳐 나타났으며, 좌측 부분은 하천 인근에서만 좁은 범위의 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현상은 수막재배지 내에서 산출되는 지하수의 산소 수소 안정동위원소 조성에서도 유사한 양상으로 나타났다.

Mo-DTP와 Zn-DTP를 혼합 첨가한 엔진 오일의 마찰 마모특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Friction and Wear Characteristics Engine Oil with Mo-DTP and Zn-DTP)

  • As the additives of engine oil, Mo-DTP and Zn-DTP were studied by experimental works. These additives were added to the engine oil with various ratios, which was an attempt to find out the best ratio at which the wear and friction can be reduced effectively; Mo-DTP is belived to be able to decrease the frictioh of the sliding metal, while Zn-DTP is known as a very stable additive for oxidation at high temperature in addition to the good antiwear property. This study showed that the optimum addition ratio of Mo-DTP and Zn-DTP is 3:2. This oil made it possible to slide steel with minimum wear and low friction over various lovels of load at moderate temperature. But as the oil temperature increased, the wear slid with Mo-DTP oil was increased more. The reason of this result was that Mo-DTP deteriorated the property of oil at high temperature by the higher oxidation and viscosity of Mo-DTP oil than that of Zn-DTP oil.

연속흐름 중합효소연쇄반응칩 제작을 위한 인듐 산화막 전극의 특성분석 (Characteristics of Indium-Tin-Oxide Electrode for Continuous-flow PCR Chip)

  • We propose glass and PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) chips for DNA amplification with continuous-flow PCR (polymerase chain reaction). The PDMS microchannel was fabricated using a negative molding method for sample injection. Three heaters and sensors of ITO (indium-tin-oxide) thin films were fabricated on glass chip. ITO heaters and sensors were calibrated accurately for the temperature control of the liquid flow. ITO heater generated stable heat versus applied power. ITO sensor resistance was changed linearly versus temperature increase as a RTD (resistance temperature detector) sensor. As a result, we enable precision temperature control of continuous-flow PCR chip. Using the continuous-flow PCR chip DNA plasmid pKS-GFP 720 bp was successfully amplified.

On the Sealing Characteristics Analysis and Design of Bi-Polymer O-ring Seals

  • The paper deals with a non-linear finite element analysis of the thermomechanical distortions of an elastomeric O-ring seal including a temperature gradient. Axial compression of O-ring seals, as well as the influence of the temperature gradients and various O-ring seal models, are investigated based on the axisymmetric analysis. The highest temperature occurs near the interface of the O-ring between the dovetail groove bottom and the O-ring seal. The calculated FEM results indicate that the composite O-ring with the diametral ratio, 0.8 shows very stable and recommendable compared with other seal models far elevated temperatures and corrosive environments.

고온의 예열공기를 이용한 액체연료의 분무 연소특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Light Oil Combustion Characteristics With High-Preheated Air)

  • An experimental study has been carried on high-preheated temperature air combustion. The flames with high-preheated temperature air combustion turned out to be both temporally and spatially much more stable and homogeneous than these with room-temperature combustion air. The global flame feature showed a range of flame colors (yellow, blue, blurish-green) according to the flame conditions. A low level of NOx along with low level of CO has been obtained under high-preheated air combustion conditions. The thermal and chemical behavior of high-preheated air combustion flames depends on the preheated temperature and the oxygen concentration of air.

RF 스퍼터링법에 의한 세라믹 박막의 열처리온도 특성 (Properties of Annealing Temperature of Ceramic Thin Film by RF Sputtering Method)

  • The SBN thin films were deposited at substrate temperature of 300[$^{\circ}C$] on Pt-coated electrode (Pt/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si(100)) using RF sputtering method. The grain and crystallinity of SBN thin films were increased with the increase of annealing temperature. The dielectric constant(150) of SBN thin film was obtained by annealing temperature above 750[$^{\circ}C$]. The voltage dependence of dielectric loss showed a value within 0.01 in voltage ranges of -5~+5[V]. The capacitance characteristics showed a stable value of about 0.7[${\mu}F/cm^2$].

  • 광학계의 특성은 파장과 온도에 따라 변화한다. 이 연구에서는 얇은 렌즈 근사를 이용하여 특정한 기준파장과 기준온도에서 파장과 온도변화에 안정한 광학계를 설계하는 방법에 대하여 연구하고, 이를 기반으로 2매의 렌즈로 구성된 레이저 주사광학계를 설계하였다. 설계된 레이저 주사광학계는 기대한 바와 같이 파장과 온도 변화에 따른 유효초점거리의 변화가 매우 적음을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • To perform the finish outside-diameter grinding process of ferrules which are widely used as fiber optic connectors, a high-precision centerless grinding machine is necessary. In this study, the thermal characteristics of the high-precision centerless grinding machine such as the temperature distribution, temperature rise and thermal deformation, are estimated based on the virtual prototype of the grinding machine and the heat generation rates of heat sources related to the machine operation conditions. The reliability of the predicted results is demonstrated by the temperature characteristics measured from the physical prototype. Especially, the predicted and measured results show the fact that the high-precision centerless grinding machine consisted of the hydrostatic GW and RW spindle systems, hydrostatic RW feeding mechanism, RW swivel mechanism, on-machine GW and RW dressers, and concrete-filled steel bed, has very stable thermal characteristics.

X선장치용(線裝置用) 절연유(絶緣油)의 도전특성(導電特性)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Conductivity Characteristics of the Insulating Oil for X-ray Tube Housing)

  • This paper carried out an experiment on the characteristics of time, temperature, electric field and the dependense of electrode materials and gap length by the conduction current of the insulating oil used for x-ray tube housing. The obtained results can be summarized as following: 1. In the x-ray tube housing insulating oil with vacuum condition, conduction current is declined more than the x-ray tube housing insultaing oil with the air, and is held stable states. 2. At the low electric field the higher temperature of the x-ray tube housing insulating oil is increased, the more conduction current. 3. The dependence of electrode material is appeared at the low electric field and the short gap length than the high and the long with Fe> Cu >Al. 4. At the I-E characteristics, the low electric field than 1000 [V/cm] is appeared Ohm's law region, and the high become saturation region. 5. At the same electric field, the longer gap length become, the more conduction current is increased, and the same applied voltage, the longer, the less conduction current is decreased, the less low than high temperature x-ray tube housing insulating oil.
