Deinking of ONP with Cellulolytic Enzymes and Synthetic Collecter in Alkaline pH

  • This paper presents an overview of ONP deinking efficiency with cellulolytic enzymes and synthetic collector in alkaline pH. Deinking is a series of unit operations designed to detach ink from cellulose fibers and separate the dispersed ink from the pulp slurry. Deinking chemicals are process aids that enable expensive mill equipment used in these unit operations to operate more efficiently - often much more efficiently. We propose the blended deinking agent with cellulolutic enzymes and synthetic collector in deinking pulp of conventional alkaline method. The deinking efficiency of old news print in alkaline pH was enhanced with enzyme treatments. The brightness of deinked pulp was increased with less residual ink particles and yield of enzymatic deinked pulp was improved compared to the deinked pulp of conventional alkaline method.

The brightness of deinked pulp was increased with less residual ink particles and yield of deinked pulp was improved compared to the deinked pulp of conventional alkaline method.

  • 이동통신 시스템은 점차 고품질 및 고속의 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하는 방향으로 가고 있다. 3GPP에서는 기존의 WCDMA 기반의 3세대 이동통신 시스템의 기술적 한계를 극복하기 위해 2004년 말에 3rd Generation Long Term Evolution(3G LTE) Plan을 발표하고, 2006년 6월까지 Technical Report 규격을 작성완료하고 2007년 6월까지 Technical Standard 작성완료를 목표로 2005년 초부터 규격 작업을 수행하고 있다. 본 고에서는 3G LTE 물리계층 및 MAC 계층의 기술 표준화 동향을 살펴본다.

  • From 1990s, the lunar exploration programs, suspended over 20 years after the project Apollo's first successful human landing on the Moon in 1969, have been restarted according to a revived interest in Moon. In recent, several nations progress their own lunar exploration program successfully. In this report, to investigate the technical trends of the onboard propulsion system for the lunar orbiter, technical features related to the performance of the propulsion system of the lunar orbiters developed since 1990 are surveyed. In the future, it is expected that this technical report can provide a fundamental guideline for selecting a proper type of the onboard propulsion system for the domestic lunar orbiter.

  • One of the oldest, most common engineering problems is measuring the dimensions of different objects and the distances between locations. In AEC/FM, related uses vary from large-scale applications such as measuring distances between cities to small-scale applications such as measuring the depth of a crack or the width of a welded joint. Within the last few years, advances in applying new technologies have prompted the development of new measuring devices such as ultrasound and laser-based measurers. Because of wide varieties in type, associated costs, and levels of accuracy, the selection of an optimal measuring technology is challenging for construction engineers and facility managers. To tackle this issue, we present an overview of various measuring technologies adopted by experts in the area of AEC/FM. As the next step, to evaluate the performance of these technologies, we select one indoor and one outdoor case and measure several dimensions using six categories of technologies: tapes, total stations, laser measurers, ultrasound devices, laser scanners, and image-based technologies. Then we evaluate the results according to various metrics such as accuracy, ease of use, operation time, associated costs, compare these results, and recommend optimal technologies for specific applications. The results also revealed that in most applications, computer vision-based technologies outperform traditional devices in terms of ease of use, associated costs, and accuracy.

  • As the South Korean rolling stock industry is developing designs for full compliance with the European Standards, it is fitting to take a look at these two core standards. The paper presents an overview of the load cases and structural requirements developed in Europe for the design of safe and compatible rolling stock vehicles. These load cases and structural requirements have been compiled into two standards namely EN12663 and EN15227. Standard EN12663 was developed as a reference design requirements standard. The work was mandated and sponsored by the European Committee for Standardization and Standard issuing National Institutions. EN12663 specifies a series of proof and fatigue load cases for European rolling stock regulations compliant vehicle designs. As EN12663 does not address the crashworthiness issue, a dedicated crashworthiness standard, EN15227, was therefore developed in a similar manner through industry wide consultations managed by a Trans-European working group of experienced engineers and specialists. In both standards, the vehicle and/or trains are grouped into categories reflecting the vehicle types and/or their indented operational function. EN15227, developed to complement EN12663, addresses the "passive" crashworthiness capability of the vehicles and trains. EN15227 specifies reference crash scenarios similar to those found in the Technical Specification for Interoperability (TSI) of high speed trains operating in Europe. The overview also touches on a general comparison with the corresponding British Group Standard (GM/RT2100) and also the UIC leaflet based load cases. The exercise is extended to pertinent design load cases specified by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) in the US.

  • Configuration is a set of building block processes, a series of selection and combining parts or components which composes a whole thing. A whole thing could be such a configurable object as manufacturing product, network system, financial portfolio, system development plan, project team, etc. Configuration problem could happen during any phase of product life cycle: design, production, sales, installation, and maintenance. Configuration has long been one of cost and time consuming work, because only high salaried technical experts on product and components can do configuration. Rework for error adjustments of configurations at later process causes far much cost and time, so accurate configuration is required. Under the on-line electronic commerce environment, configuration problem solving becomes more important, because component-based sales should be done automatically on the merchant web site. Automated product search, order placement, order fulfillment and payment make that manual configuration is no longer feasible. Automated configuration means that all the constraints among components should be checked and confirmed by configuration engine automatically. In addition, technical constraints and customer preferences like price range and a specific function required should be considered. This paper gives an brief overview of configuration problems: characteristics, representation paradigms, and solving algorithms and introduce CRSP(Constraint and Rule Satisfaction Problem) method. CRSP method adopts both constraint and rule for configuration domain knowledge representation. A survey and analysis on web sites adopting configuration functions are provided. Future directions of configuration for EC is discussed in the three aspects: methodology itself, companies adopting configuration function, and electronic commerce industry.

  • In recent years, demand of make up products has been suddenly increased, and colors n make up products have been also emphasized. For these reasons, prior to every season each cosmetics cooperation supplies new colors and informations with based on color trend. But, in addition to color, various functions such as treatment effect, long lastingness, non-transferring and transparent glossiness have been also require by consumers. In this paper, the whole changes and technical trends of make up cosmetics are described, and in addition, the psychological effects of make up are introduced.

  • The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of the characteristics of the e-sports business at a crucial point in the era of information and knowledge. That is, an investigation was conducted surrounding the key success factors of e-sports as a newly growing industry, and the relationship between the key success factors and the usage effect. In order to do this, the key success factors were extracted from interviews with e-sports experts in conjunction with a survey that was conducted to gather empirical data. The key points of the statistical analysis of the survey are as follows. First, the success factors of a policy do not have a significant effect on the usage. Second, some administrative success factors of the e-sports business include the distribution of e-sports in the form of franchise chain, the establishment of policies to prevent the excellent members of e-sports from seceding, making a good impression as a high-class sport, the frequent notice of the break-even point, and educating people on how to use the e-sports machine. Third, the development and distribution of excellent e-sports software was analyzed as a technical success factor of the e-sports business. Finally, there is no doubt that results of this study can be used to facilitate the growth of the e-sports business as a new industry related to the IT industry.
