The 90 children in this study were grouped with 30 each in the experimental group, and the 2 comparison groups. Research methods over 8 weeks were in the sequence starting from teacher/assistant teacher education, then pretest, followed by development-adaptation of experimental model of math games, and post-test. The experimental group conducted child-initiated math games, comparison group I children proceeded with teacher-initiated math games, and comparison group II children proceeded with co-initiated math games. Statistical evaluation was by ANOVA and ANCOVA. Findings were that the child-initiated math game group scored higher on children's mathematical ability than the two comparison groups. Boys in the experimental group scored higher on children's mathematical ability than girls.

The current status of in-service teacher development shows that teachers' awareness can be enhanced through critical reflection. This study shows how an English teacher improved her own teaching situation through action research. It reports back the action research the teacher-researcher carried out in the EFL classroom setting. Aiming to improve the pupils' English speaking ability, the teacher introduced 'Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT)' to the English class. The teacher and the pupils took part in the evaluation process of learning and teaching. It was found that the new approach to teaching speaking helped the pupils improve speaking ability and take an active role in learning process. It is further suggested that teacher-initiated action research can be done in collaboration with colleagues, administrators and researchers.

본 연구는 교사-유아 관계가 유아의 성별 및 기질과 같은 개인적 특성과 교사-유아 간의 성별에 따라 교사-유아 관계의 특성에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고, 유아의 기질 및 교사-유아 간의 상호작용 빈도와 교사-유아 관계의 관련성을 살펴보았다. 연구대상은 서울시에 소재한 한 유아교육기관에 다니는 만 3~4세 유아 51명과 이들의 어머니 그리고 담임교사이었다. 유아의 기질은 어머니가 평가하였고, 교사-유아관계의 질은 담임교사가 평정하였다. 교사-유아 상호작용은 관찰자에 의해 자유선택활동시간 동안 유아주도 상호작용과 교사주도 상호작용으로 구분하여 빈도를 측정하였다. 자료분석 결과, 유아교사는 여아들과는 친밀한 관계를, 남아들과는 갈등 관계를 더 많이 형성하는 것으로 나타났다. 유아의 기질과 교사-유아 관계에서는 의도적 통제 수준이 낮은 유아일수록 교사와 갈등적인 관계를 형성하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 교사-유아 관계가 교사-유아 간의 상호작용 특성과 관련이 있는지를 살펴본 결과, 갈등적인 관계를 맺고 있는 유아에 대해 교사는 상호작용을 더 적게 시도하는 경향이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The present study aims to examine how the roles of teacher and learners affect the repair patterns of both teacher's and learner's utterances in English as a second language (ESL) classroom discourse. The study analyzed beginning ESL classroom discourse and found that the structure of repair seems to be greatly influenced by the roles of participants in a second language classroom. The teacher's repair work was mainly characterized by self-repair. In contrast, learners' repair sequences were predominantly characterized by other-repair. More specifically, self-initiation by the learner of the trouble source was cooperatively completed by the teacher and the other learners. Other-initiated and other-completed repair was the most prevalent form in the current classroom data, which was carried out by the teacher in both modulated and unmodulated manners. When the trouble sources were mostly concerned with the learners' problems with linguistic competence and information presented in the textbook, other-repair took place in a modulated manner (i.e., recasting and prompting). On the other hand, when dealing with learners' errors with factual knowledge, other-repair was conducted in an unmodulated way (i.e., 'no' plus correction).

본 연구는 유아주도 요리활동이 유아의 자기효능감 및 학습흥미도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 충남에 소재한 민간어린이집 만 4~5세에 재원 중인 34명씩의 두 학급 총 68명을 대상으로 2013년 9월 9일부터 12월 31일까지 실험집단에게는 유아주도 요리활동을, 비교집단에게는 교사주도 요리활동을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 전체 자기효능감에 있어 비교집단은 약한 증가효과가 있었으나 실험집단은 높은 증가효과를 나타내어 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 각 하위요인별 인지적 영역, 사회 정서적 영역, 신체적 영역 향상에 있어서도 유아주도 요리활동이 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전체 학습흥미도에 있어 비교집단은 약한 증가효과가 있었으나 실험집단은 높은 증가효과를 나타내어 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 각 하위요인별 주의집중, 흥미도, 자신감, 성실성, 활동에 대한 관심 향상에 있어서도 유아주도 요리활동이 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 유아주도 요리활동이 유아의 자기효능감과 학습흥미도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 교육활동임을 나타내주었다.

본 연구는 수학교육 관련 교사 연수 현황을 분석하고 정책적 보완 방안을 모색하고 하였다. 이를 위해 16개 시도교육청으로부터 2010년, 2011년 수학교육 관련 교사 연수 현황 자료를 제출받아 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 시도교육청 연수 담당자 협의회를 통해 연수의 양적 질적 성장을 도모해야 하고, 연수대상자 특성에 적합한 맞춤형 연수 프로그램이 개발 보급되어야 하며, 필요한 경우 의무 연수와 같은 정부의 정책적 지원이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.

The present study examines various pedagogical functions of conversational repair strategies employed by the teacher in the ESL classroom. As part of interactional resources, conversational repair is defined as the treatment of trouble occurring in interactive language use and is originally designed to deal with communication problems. Research on conversational repair has focused on ordinary conversation and organization of repair practices. Studies on more pedagogical functions of repair sequences initiated by the teacher are very few. The data were from five hours of ESL structure classes in an intensive English institute at a large U.S. university. They were closely transcribed and microanalyzed following the conversation-analytic methodology. The analysis found that ESL teachers' repair techniques not only resolve communication problems but they are also designed to serve several important instructional purposes of teaching the target language. They include creating opportunities of comprehensible input, inducing modified comprehensible output from students, guiding and controlling student output, and initiating corrections by initiating repair.

기존의 멀티캐스트 프로토콜은 서비스 수신자가 주체가 되어 그룹에 가입/탈퇴하는 방법을 사용하고 있어 서비스 제공자가 그룹 멤버에 대해 데이터전송의 신뢰성을 관리하기 힘든 구조로 되어 있다. 본 논문은 교육 시스템과 같이 서비스제공자(서버) 중심의 멀티미디어 데이터 통신이 이루어지는 시스템을 위해서 서비스 제공자 중심의 그룹 관리와 통신의 신뢰성을 제공하는 멀티캐스트 미들웨어를 설계 구현한다. 개발된 미들웨어는 다수의 멀티캐스트 그룹에 대해 그룹멤버의 상태정보를 관리하는 그룹관리기, 신뢰성을 보장하는 NAK기반의 통신프로토콜에 의한 송수신기로 구성되어 있다. 이를 이용해 22khz 음성데이터와 1024＊768 24bit color image 데이터를 동시에 30대의 pc에 송신한 결과 음성은 동시에 2명의 음성이 전원에게 손실없이 전송되고 image는 0.004%,정도의 낮은 재전송율로 초당 2장의 image가 전송된다.

본고는 '정보와 도서관' 교육과정의 목표와 교수설계 절차에 입각하여 사서교사의 도서관 활용 수업을 위한 협동수업 개념틀을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 현장 사서교사들의 상세화된 협동수업 지도안은 점차 활성화되고 있으나 교수설계 절차 등 수업이론을 적용한 연구는 아직 미비한 실정이다. 이러한 측면에서 사서교사의 협동수업을 위한 수업이론 및 방법 등은 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 사서교사의 협동수업 지도안은 '정보와 도서관' 교육과정의 목표와 교수설계 절차에 입각하여 개발되어야 한다. 교육과정의 목표는 정보과제를 중심으로 정보이용과정을 반영한 것이다. 본고는 교육과정의 목표와 교수설계 절차에 입각하여 그 원리를 적용한 협동수업 개념틀을 제시하고, 이를 기반으로 현장 사서교사들이 상세화된 협동수업 지도안을 개발할 수 있도록 한다.

The purpose of this ethnographic study was to observe and understand interactions of toddlers and teachers in context. Specific questions were "What are the motives and features of the interactions between toddlers and teacher?" Subjects were twenty 2-year-old daycare children and their teachers. Methods covered 11 weeks of interviews and participatory observation. The major findings were that the interactions between toddlers and teachers was mainly initiated by toddlers and consist of physiological and emotional needs, conflict mediation and participation in play. As toddler get to the age of self-recognition but still need adult's assistance, the co-existence of dependence and independence was evident. Children used a variety of verbal and non-verbal signals with both positive and non-positive overtons.
