모바일폰에서의 멀티태스킹 사용 맥락조사 (Contextual Inquiry on Multi-tasking Using a Mobile Phone)

  • 본 연구는 모바일폰 사용자의 멀티태스킹 니즈를 중심으로 태스크간의 이동을 유추함으로써, 각 태스크 별로 멀티태스킹이 지원되어야 하는 최소의 태스크 집단을 보여주고자 진행된, 멀티태스킹을 위한 모바일폰 인터페이스 설계의 기초 연구이다. 사용자가 여러 가지 태스크가 일어나는 상황을 예측한다는 것은 어려운 일이기 때문에, 먼저 모바일폰의 기능에서 도출된 16 가지 주요 태스크 별로 일대일로 대응되는 멀티태스킹 니즈를 조사하였다. 하나의 태스크에서 멀티태스킹 니즈가 있는 태스크가 도출되며, 다시 그 태스크에 나타난 멀티태스킹 니즈를 찾아가는 유추의 방식으로 태스크 간의 이동을 간략화하여 멀티태스킹 시나리오 다이어그램을 도출하였다. 여러 개의 태스크가 동시에 일어날 때 멀티태스킹이 어떠한 과정을 통하여 나타나는 가를 체계화하는 이러한 과정은, 향후 멀티태스킹 맥락을 고려한 사용자 중심 인터페이스 개발에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 이 연구는 $\ulcorner$도서관법$\lrcorner$ 개정에 따른 정책 환경의 변화를 공공도서관의 현주소와 연계 분석한 다음에 공통의 현안과 과제를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 도서관발전종합계획의 수정 보완, 도서관 행정체계의 정비, 지방 도서관 정보정책시스템의 제도화, 직무분석과 사서직제의 개선, 인프라 확충과 각종 기준의 개정, 경영평가 및 통계시스템의 표준화, 도서관 유관기관과의 연계성 강화를 정책적 과제로 설정하고 추진방향과 개선안을 제시하였다.

ERGONOMIC ANALYSIS OF A TELEMANIPULATION TECHNIQUE FOR A PYROPROCESS DEMONSTRATION FACILITY

  • In this study, remote handling strategies for a large-scale argon cell facility were considered. The suggested strategies were evaluated by several types of field test. The teleoperation tasks were performed using a developed remote handling system, which enabled traveling over entire cell area using a bridge transport system. Each arm of the system had six DOFs (degrees of freedom), and the bridge transport system had four DOFs. However, despite the dexterous manipulators and redundant monitoring system, many operators, including professionals, experienced difficulties in operating the remote handling system. This was because of the lack of a strategy for handling the installed camera system, and the difficulty in recognizing the gripper pose, which might fall outside the FOV (field of vision) of the system during teleoperation. Hence, in this paper, several considerations for the remote handling tasks performed in the target facility were discussed, and the tasks were analyzed based on ergonomic factors such as the workload. Toward the development of a successful operation strategy, several ergonomic issues, such as active/passive view of the remote handling system, eye/hand alignment, and FOV were considered. Furthermore, using the method for classifying remote handling tasks, several unit tasks were defined and evaluated.

  • In NLP (Natural Language Processing) tasks, the highest difficulty which computers had to face with, is the built-in ambiguity of Natural Languages. To disambiguate it, formerly, they based on human-devised rules. Building such a complete rule-set is time-consuming and labor-intensive task whilst it doesn't cover all the cases. Besides, when the scale of system increases, it is very difficult to control that rule-set. So, recently, many NLP tasks have changed from rule-based approaches into corpus-based approaches with large annotated corpora. Corpus-based NLP tasks for such popular languages as English, French, etc. have been well studied with satisfactory achievements. In contrast, corpus-based NLP tasks for Vietnamese are at a deadlock due to absence of annotated training data. Furthermore, hand-annotation of even reasonably well-determined features such as part-of-speech (POS) tags has proved to be labor intensive and costly. In this paper, we present our building an annotated English-Vietnamese parallel aligned corpus named EVC to train for Vietnamese-related NLP tasks such as Word Segmentation, POS-tagger, Word Order transfer, Word Sense Disambiguation, English-to-Vietnamese Machine Translation, etc.

3-5세 아동의 시제어미 이해와 산출의 정확성 (The Comprehension and Production of Tense Markings in 3- to 5-year Old Korean Children)

  • In the present study, we investigated development of verb inflections or endings in 3- to 5-year old Korean-speaking children using 28 action verbs for both comprehension and production tasks. For each verb, a l0-second long motion picture and a sheet of paper with three random-ordered color pictures representing 'before, in the middle of, at the end of' the action were generated. A past tense inflection' -et ta,' two present progressive verb endings '-enta' & '-ko itta.' a future tense ending '-elyeko hanta' were tested. In the comprehension task, children were asked to point to a picture correctly representing the tense of a presented verb. In the production task, children were asked to produce a verb with correctly marking the tense of a presented picture. The order of the two tasks were counterbalanced across the children, and the motion pictures were only presented in the first task. Across the ages, the performance accuracies on both comprehension and production tasks were the highest for the past tense marking followed by two present progressive and future tense markings. For each verb endings, the changes of accuracies across ages were analyzed in both tasks. The types of errors for production tasks were also reported.

2015 개정 교육과정 중학교 기술·가정 교과서 '가정생활과 안전' 영역 활동과제에 반영된 교과역량 분석 (An Analysis of Subject Competencies Applied in the Activity Tasks of the 'Home Life and Safety' area in Middle School Technology-Home Economics Textbooks based on the 2015 Revised National Curriculum)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze two subject competencies (practical problem-solving capability and independent life capability) reflected in the activity tasks included in the 'home life and safety' area of 12 middle school technology-home economics textbooks in accordance with the 2015 revised curriculum. The analysis criteria were sub-elements of two subject competencies. Seven sub-elements were derived from each competency. Frequency analysis was performed to determine how often the sub-elements were reflected in the activity tasks. The results were as follows. First, with regard to the sub-elements of 'practical problem-solving capability', 'value judgment' was reflected most frequently in the activity tasks followed by 'exemplification of solution', 'logical thinking', 'critical thinking', 'decision-making', 'practical reasoning', and 'evaluation of solutions'. Secondly, the sub-elements of 'independent life capability' were unevenly distributed in the activity tasks. The 'capability to perform conscious living' was reflected most frequently followed by 'development and self-identity', 'time, money, and leisure management', and 'reasonable consumption and resource utilization'. For teachers wanting to teach activity-oriented classes and student participatory classes, the results pinpoint the materials necessary to develop learners' subject competencies by using textbooks from different publishing companies.

학령기 아동용 스마트기기를 사용한 기억력 평가과제의 개발 및 타당도 검증 연구 (The Development and Validation of Memory Tasks Using Smart Devices for School Aged Children)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to develop auditory-verbal and visual-spatial memory tasks using smart devices for children aged 8 to 10 years and examine their validity. Methods: One-hundred and fourteen school-aged children were recruited through internet advertising. We developed memory tasks assessing auditory-verbal memory, visual-spatial memory, and working memory, and then examined their construct validity by examining the developmental trend of the children's mean scores with age. In order to examine the concurrent validity of the tasks, we conducted correlation analyses between the children's scores on the newly developed auditory-verbal, visual-spatial memory and working memory tasks and their scores on well-known standardized tests of memory and working memory, including the auditory-verbal memory subtests of the Korean Luria-Nebraska Neuropsychological Battery for Children, Korean Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test, digit span and arithmetic subtest of Korean Educational Development Institute Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children Revised, and Corsi block test. Results: The memory and working memory scores measured by the newly developed tasks tended to increase with age. Further, there were significant correlations between the scores of the four cognitive tasks and the corresponding scores of the standardized assessment tools. Conclusion: This study revealed promising evidence for the validity of the memory tasks using smart devices, suggesting their utility for school-aged children in research and clinical settings.

Ergonomic Analysis of Tele-operation Tasks and Remote Handling Devices for a Pyroprocessing Facility

  • Objective: The aim of this study is ergonomic analysis of tele-operation tasks using modified remote handling devices dedicated to the cell of PRIDE(PyRoprocess Integrated inactive DEmonstration facility) in KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute). Background: Tele-operation manipulators of the PRIDE are applied to perform the remote handling and management of pyroprocessing facilities. Generally, these kinds of systems are composed of master-slave system and its peripherals installed along a wall or ceiling of the cell, and the manipulators transmit the user's own motion to grippers directly. However, a user convenience and intuitiveness while operating the manipulators have not been fully considered in research fields. Method: This study tries to analyze the ergonomic performance of remote handling manipulators in the developed cell facility. It was included that the analysis of operator's capability for his/her own motion range of upper arm while manipulating the MSM, considerations of its manipulation margin and related tool modifications to improve the remote handling performance. Conclusion: The test results of several remote handling tasks performed in PRIDE are represented, and adequate operation strategies for the tele-operation system of hot-cell type facilities are proposed. Application: The knowledge represented in this study can be utilized to improve a tele-operation system operated in a large-scale hot-cell system.

자율학교의 현황과 과제 (Current Status and Tasks of Autonomous Schools)

  • 이 연구는 현재 운영 중인 자율학교의 현황을 토대로 과제를 모색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법은 문헌연구의 방법을 사용하였다. 그리고 연구내용은 자율학교의 의의와 발전, 자율학교의 유형, 자율학교의 현황과 과제의 영역으로 구분하였다. 자율학교의 의의와 발전에서는 표준화·규격화된 교육에서 소외가 발생함에 따라 학교교육제도를 포함한 교육제도의 개선과 발전을 위해 학교 및 교육과정 운영의 특례가 인정되는 자율학교가 제도적으로 보장되는 과정을 설명하였다. 다음으로 자율학교의 유형에서는 일반형 자율학교와 제주형 자율학교로 구분하여 논의하였다. 일반형은 초·중등교육법에 법적 근거를 두고 있고, 제주형은 제주특별법에 의해 운영이 되며 내용적 사항도 차이가 있어 이들의 특징적인 면을 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 자율학교의 현황과 과제에 대해 논의하였다. 법적 근거와 내용을 달리하는 일반형과 제주형의 특징적인 면을 살펴보고, 그에 따른 과제를 제시하였다. 과제는 자율학교의 수가 많고, 지역별·유형별 편중이 심하며, 교장 자격과 학교운영위원회 등 주로 제도적 측면에 대한 특례의 활용이 많고, 제주의 경우 인력 지원의 원활성이 있는 점으로 제시하였다. 이들 논의 결과 형식적인 자율학교의 운영이 아니라, 내실있는 자율학교의 운영이 요청되었다.

3, 4, 5세 유아의 합리적인 수세기, 더하기, 빼기 능력 발달에 관한 연구 (The Development of Competence in Rational Counting, Addition and Subtraction in Three-, Four- and Five-Year-Old Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the development of rational counting, addition and subtraction competence and the correlation between competence in rational counting, addition, and subtraction in three-, four- and five-year-old children. The subjects were 156 preschoolers living in Seoul. The experimental materials consisted of a set of 20 props for rational counting, addition, and subtraction tasks. The addition and subtraction tasks each consisted of a set of 6 problems. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, Duncan multiple range test, and Pearson's r. The results indicated that 1) there were significant differences in the development of competence in rational counting, addition, and subtraction by age, 2) there were no significant differences in competence in rational counting, addition, and subtraction by gender, 3) there were positively high correlations of competence rational counting, addition, and subtraction by age.
