UAV-UGV의 협업제어를 위한 향상된 Target Tracking에 관한 연구 (Study on the Improved Target Tracking for the Collaborative Control of the UAV-UGV)

  • This paper suggests the target tracking method improved for the collaboration of the quad rotor type UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and omnidirectional Unmanned Ground Vehicle. If UAV shakes or UGV moves rapidly, the existing method generates a phenomenon that the tracking object loses the tracking target. To solve the problems, we propose an algorithm that can track continually when they lose the target. The proposed algorithm stores the vector of the landmark. And if the target was lost, the control signal was inputted so that the landmark could move continuously to the direction running out. Prior to the experiment, Proportional and integral control were used in 4 motors in order to calibrate the Heading value of the omnidirectional mobile robot. The landmark of UGV was recognized as the camera adhered to UAV and the target was traced through the proportional-integral-derivative control. Finally, the performance of the target tracking controller and proposed algorithm was evaluated through the experiment.

Corporate Capital Structure Adjustments: Evidence from Vietnam Stock Exchange Market

  • Building a target capital structure is one of the most important decisions in corporate financial management. The purpose of this article is to identify the determinants of capital structure and adjustment mechanism toward the target leverage. The partial adjustment model was applied on a sample of 306 non-financial companies listed on Vietnam stock exchange market during the period of 2008-2017. By the fixed effect model estimation method, the research results have discovered the factors of growth opportunities, firm size, tangible fixed assets and firm's unique characteristics have a positive effect on the target capital structure of enterprises. Besides, profitability and dividend payment have a negative effect on the target capital structure of enterprises. Accordingly, the research results show that the average adjustment speed toward target leverage of the firms is 90.03%. Research results also demonstrate firms have higher or lower debt ratio than the target debt ratio, capital surplus or capital deficit also have an impact on the adjustment rate toward the target capital structure. The research results are consistent with the Dynamic Trade-off Theory. From this result, this article has provided policy implications for non-financial companies listed on Vietnam's stock market in building a reasonable target capital structure according to operating timeline to maximize enterprise value.

경제적 손실을 고려한 기대손실 관리도의 설계 (Design of Expected Loss Control Chart Considering Economic Loss)

  • Control chart is representative tool of Statistical Process Control (SPC). But, it is not given information about the economic loss that occurs when a product is produced characteristic value does not match the target value of the process. In order to manage the process, we should consider not only stability of the variation also produce products with a high degree of matching the target value that is most ideal quality characteristics. There is a need for process control in consideration of economic loss. In this paper, we design a new control chart using the quadratic loss function of Taguchi. And we demonstrate effectiveness of new control chart by compare its ARL with ${\overline{x}}-R$ control chart.

복잡한 형태를 갖고 운동중인 금속제물체의 Radar Cross Section (A theoretical calculation and measurements for Radar Cross Section of a moving complex metal target)

  • 본 논문은 복잡한 형태를 갖는 운동중의 물체인 소형금속제항공기의 RCS(Radarcrosssection)을 항공기도면에서 간단한 모형으로 가정하여 고정파장의 경우 전면에서 본 RCS를 Relativy phase method와 Random phase nlethod로 그의 이론치를 계산했고, 항공기(cessna 305)를 X 공항을 중심으로 170° 방향으로 비행시키고 11cm 파 Radar로 추적하여 최대탐지거리를 얻어 RCS를 측정한 치와 이론치를 비교한 결과 거의 일치함을 알았다.

잡음 구분에 의한 지능형 기동표적 추적기법 (Intelligent Maneuvering Target Tracking Based on Noise Separation)

  • 본 논문에서는 기동표적의 위치 오차값 보상 기법을 이용한 지능형 기동표적 추적 기법을 제안한다. 기동표적의 관측값과 예상위치와의 차이를 가속도와 순수 잡음으로 분리한다. 최적의 수준으로 가속도를 추출하기 위하여 K-means 클러스터링 기법과 TS 퍼지 시스템을 이용한다. K-means 클러스터링에 의해 분리된 가속도와 잡음에 대한 소속함수를 설정하고 퍼지 모델화하여 기동표적의 특성을 파악한다. 계산상의 오차를 보상하기 위하여 분리된 가속도와 잡음은 추적 알고리즘의 계산과정에 적절히 이용된다. 추정값 계산시, 가속도를 분리 하므로써 필터링 과정은 표적의 비선형 기동을 선형기동으로 인식하여 칼만필터의 성능을 유지시킨다. 기동표적의 비선형성에 대한 오차는 추정된 가속도를 통해 보상된다. 제안된 시스템의 소속함수에 사용되는 파라미터값을 조종하여 상황에 따라 적응성과 강인성을 향상시킨다. 제안된 시스템은 실시간 추적이 가능하도록 구성하였으며, 몇 가지 예를 통하여 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 우수성을 증명한다.

자산기반 무기할당 문제의 선형 근사 모형 (A Linear Approximation Model for an Asset-based Weapon Target Assignment Problem)

  • A missile defense system is composed of radars detecting incoming missiles aiming at defense assets, command control units making the decisions on weapon target assignment, and artillery batteries firing of defensive weapons to the incoming missiles. Although, the technology behind the development of radars and weapons is very important, effective assignment of the weapons against missile threats is much more crucial. When incoming missile targets toward valuable assets in the defense area are detected, the asset-based weapon target assignment model addresses the issue of weapon assignment to these missiles so as to maximize the total value of surviving assets threatened by them. In this paper, we present a model for an asset-based weapon assignment problem with shoot-look-shoot engagement policy and fixed set-up time between each anti-missile launch from each defense unit. Then, we show detailed linear approximation process for nonlinear portions of the model and propose final linear approximation model. After that, the proposed model is applied to several ballistic missile defense scenarios. In each defense scenario, the number of incoming missiles, the speed and the position of each missile, the number of defense artillery battery, the number of anti-missile in each artillery battery, single shot kill probability of each weapon to each target, value of assets, the air defense coverage are given. After running lpSolveAPI package of R language with the given data in each scenario in a personal computer, we summarize its weapon target assignment results specified with launch order time for each artillery battery. We also show computer processing time to get the result for each scenario.

An Improvement on Target Costing Technique

  • The target costing technique, mathematically discussed by Sauers, only uses the $C_p index along with Taguchi loss function and $\bar{X}$-P control charts to setup goal control limits. The new specification limits derived from Taguchi loss function is linked through the $C_p value to $\bar{X}$-P control charts to obtain goal control limits. Studies have shown that the point estimator of the $C_p index, $C_p, could vary from time to time due to the sampling error. The suggested approach is to use confidence intervals, especially the lower confidence intervals, to replace the point estimator. Therefore, an improvement on target costing technique is presented by applying the lower confidence interval of the $C_p index and using both Taguchi and Spiring's loss functions together with $\bar{X}$-P charts to make this technique more robust in practice. An example is also provided to illustrate how the improved target costing technique works.

  • In this paper, we proposed realtime visual tracking system of moving object for 2D target using extended Kalman Filter Algorithm. A targeting marker are recongnized in each image frame and positions of targer object in each frame from a CCD camera while te targeting marker is attached to the tip of the SCARA robot hand. After the detection of a target coming into any position of the field-of-view, the target is tracked and always made to be located at the center of target window. Then, we can track the moving object which moved in inter-frames. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the Kalman filter algorithm for realtime tracking and estimated state value of filter, predicting the position of moving object to minimize an image processing area, and by reducing the effect by quantization noise of image

A Modified Target Costing Technique to Improve Product Quality from Cost Consideration

  • The target costing technique, mathematically discussed by Sauers, only uses the $C_p$ index along with Taguchi loss function and ${\bar{X}}-R$ control charts to set up goal control limits. The new specification limits derived from Taguchi loss function is linked through the $C_p$ value to ${\bar{X}}-R$ control charts to obtain goal control limits. This study further considers the reflected normal loss function as well as the $C_{pk}$ index along with its lower confidence interval in forming goal control limits. With the use of lower confidence interval to replace the point estimator of the $C_{pk}$ index and reflected normal loss function proposed by Spiring to measure the loss to society, this modified and improved target costing technique would become more robust and applicable in practice. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate how this modified and improved target costing technique works.

  • Based on multiple measurements of ionization loss, the Time Projection Chamber (TPC) combines strong tracking ability with particle identification ability in a large momentum range, which is an important advantage of TPC detection technology over traditional ionization measurement technology. According to these two characteristics of TPC, applying it to the measurement of fission cross-section can greatly improve the measurement accuracy. During the measurement of the fission cross-section, the number of target nuclei is required to be accurately measured. So this paper introduces a method for measuring the number of 235U target nuclei using a fission TPC system. The measurement result agrees with the reference value, and relative error is around 1 %.
