유아의 대물애착현상에 관한 연구(I) (A Study on Object Attachment in Infant and Early Childhood(I))

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate to what extent and how the infant's Object Attachment occurs. For this purpose, 28 mothers with their infants showing or having shown this phenomenon were interviewed. They were selected by the whole scale smpling method from 310 household -wives living at a delux Apt. in Seoul. The results are summarized as follows : 1. About 27% of the infants aged between 6 months and 6 years turned out to show this phenomenon. 2. Qulits, bed clothes, pillows and blankets, which infants have been closely contacted since their babyhood, were the major source of attachment objects. In general, these objects were proved to have soft, wasm, smooth, and glassy tactile sensation. 3.This phenomenon, in average, appeared since 13 months after birth, About 50% of the whole began to show this phenomenon between 9 and 14 month after birth. 4. Half of the infants didn't show a change of attachment strength, but as for the other half, the attachment strength increased after one year of age, and decreased after three years of age, as the social period commenced. 5. Infants needed attachment objects especially when they were driven by sleep, sense of emptiness, and monotonous or boring feeling. 6. There were little difference between Object Attachment behavior and motherinfant attachment behavior except "babbling", "using her as a base for exploration". Those behaviors did not appear in Object Attachment. 7. mothers said that their children's attachment objects played the role of substitute mother, pacificater, warmer, friend , etc. And they attributed this phenomenon's appearance to lack their physical contact with, ocnstant and warm care toward, their children or bottle feeding.

현대 패션에 표현된 한국과 일본 전통 복식 디자인의 조형적 특성에 관한 연구 (Formative Character of Korean and Japanese Dress Design in Modern Fashion)

  • As the traditional style is treated as one of the important themes in fashion recently, how to apply the formative character in Korean and Japanese traditional dress to modern fashion is searched through actual analysis of photograph material, Both design formative elements were confirmed by clothing and fashion department majors through visual data so that 20 pieces of them were selected as final analysis object. Korean traditional dress form in modern fashion emphasizes curvaceousness as plane division. On the other hand, that of Japanese shows straight line, layered, belt, big look through up & down connection style. Color in Korean traditional dress prefers white and original color and modern fashion displays the natural beauty through harmony of similar colors ; that of Japanese based on natural color such as persimmon color cherishes natural beauty and implicit moderation showing harmony of various original color with brilliance and neutral color. While texture in Korean traditional dress was fine and exquisite, that of Japanese preferred coarse and tactile ones. In motif, Korea was natural and geometric but Japanese variously used complex and geometric ones. Likewise, the result suggests that the formative character in Korean and Japanese modern fashion affects the modern dress format as new aesthetic sense and takes on more complicated and subtle aspect in basic form, not just use so far.

아르곤 레이저의 소아치과에서의 임상적 적용 (CLINICAL APPLICATION OF ARGON LASER IN PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY)

  • Argon laser used in this case report, is special in having two wavelength of 488, 514nm blue-green visible light spectrum. Blue light is used for composite resin polymerization and caries detection. Green light is used for soft tissue surgery and coagulation. Maximum absorption of this laser light occurs in red pigmentation such as hemoglobin. The argon laser may be well-suited for selective destruction of blood clots and hemangioma with minimal damage to adjacent tissues. Argon laser light penetrates tissue to the 1 mm depth, so its thermal intensity is lower than $CO_2$ laser light. Also, due to its short wavelength it can be focused in a small spot and even single gene can be excised by this laser and microscopy. After applicating argon laser to 4 patient for surgical procedure and to 1 patient for curing the composite resin, following results were obtained. 1. Improved visibility were gained due to hemostasis and no specific technique were needed according to easy recontouring of the tissue. 2. Ability to use by contact mode, tactile sense was superior but tissue dragability and accumulation of tissue on the tip needed sweeping motion. 3. Additive local anesthetic procedure was needed. 4. No suture and less curing time reduced chair time, this made argon laser available in pediatric dentistry.

원격 조종 작업에서 3가지 시각 궤환 조건하의 작업 수행도 (Task performance under three visual feedback conditions in a teleoperation task)

  • In this research, we investigated the effect of three visual feedback conditions (direct viewing, one-monitor viewing, and tow-monitors viewing) on the task performance of human operator in teloperation task. The three different level of task difficulties under each concitions were performed by thirty-six subjects. The result of the experiments was analysed by the task difficulties, and the measurements of performance are the task completion time and the frequency of task errors. In a teleoperator, the participation of a human operator is always required, and the man-machine interface and the operator's abilities is an important issue. Recently, the different types of sensory feedback conditions(force, vision, sound, tactile, etc) for teleoperation is a very active research area in ergonomics. Among them, visual feedback conditon is an important sense that can provide the information of task environment. Therefore, the sufficient understandings and investigation for human ability under various visual feedback conditions is required to establish the efficient man-machine interface of teleoperation. The result showed that the visual feecback conditions and the level of task difficulties have a significant effect on the task performance. For three level of task difficulties, the task completion time was the shortest under the condition of direct viewing. The number of task errors under the conditions of direct viewing and two-monitors viewing were reduced by more than half compare to that of one-monitor viewing.

  • Harmony between men and their surroundings has been one of the most profound motives in space and object design for a long time. It is often expressed in design as the concept of 'organic'. Nowdays the term of organic is expanding its meaning in the contemporary sense of organicism. Nature, human 'beings, and digital technology are the key issues in future design paradigms. Karim Rashid is one of the most futuristic and vendible designer and his works show these issues. His designs flow organically and he uses materials that allow his forms to flow like the body, echoing life forms. it's very sensual, very tactile. In his work, a new concept of organic design is expressed in the organic unity of experience. He tries to contribute objects to our physical landscape that inspires, engages, and encourage positive experiences. Also, Technology is at constant play in his design process. With the latest three dimensional design software it is much easier to design and model sophisticated and complex shape and forms. Digital technology affects not only his design processes but also cultural views. New technologies and social shifts are changing our understanding of interior space.

최근 오뜨꾸뛰르 복식에 표현된 개더(Gather)의 조형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Plasticity of the Gather Represented in Haut Couture)

  • 오뜨꾸뛰르 복식은 새롭고 독창적인 아이디어를 창인 할 뿐 아니라 복식의 고유한 요소 즉, 수공예 적이며 전통고수의 성격을 강하게 갖으면서 20세기에 들어와서는 대중적 요소가 결합되어 세계모드에 영향력을 행사하는 것으로 파악된다. 이러한 요소는 개더의 고유한 구조 자체가 갖고 있는 기술 구사 적 측면으로서만이 아니라 기본적인 기술적 요소가 현대의 여러 사조 및 소재나 복식디자인 적 요소와 유합 하여 복식의 기능적 측면과 장식적인 측면이 융합되어 착용 자나 디자이너에게 있어 미적 표출과 감성적인 측면에까지 영향을 미친다. 20세기는 새로운 예술운동의 범람과 전위적 운동의 전개로 전통적 장르가 붕괴되거나 혼합되어 나타났다. 이러한 믹싱 현상은 트랜드의 부재, 패션의 부재라 할 수 있는 해체주의 적 경향을 띄게 되어 최근 오뜨꾸뛰르에 나타난 개더의 유형으로 아이템이나, 소재, 디자인에서 혼합적 양상이 개더의 디테일 적 요소와 유합, 상충, 병치되어 등 인위적인 구성인 복합구성의 자유로운 형태로서 다종다양하게 나타났다.

LED의 패션디자인 적용방법과 표현특성 (A Study on the Method to Apply LED to Fashion Design and Its Expression Characteristic)

  • Fashion industry is high value added indust교, whose price is decided by design value so it requires creativity and uniqueness for competition. The purpose of this study is to grasp how the design characteristic of LED that can express new creativity and uniqueness is applied to fashion design and find out the expression characteristic of LED used in fashion design. The study subjects, the design to which LED is applied, were extracted from fashion show and internet search. As a study result, the expression characteristics of LED used for fashion design are as follows. First, for function, tool function that can provide convenience for life and expression function that can provide user with emotional and psychological satisfaction and communication were allowed. Second, for aesthetic changes, many-sided, multiple colors and pattern displays of LED changed design meaning visually and caused aesthetic emotion for observer. Third, for interaction, physical factor of LED, user, dress and environmental factor interacted each other, enabling both-sided communication. Fourth, for amusement, multiple lights of LED activated visual and tactile sense, expressing usefulness and joyfulness on the basis of various display possibilities and changes. The study result will be helpful for developing more unique, creative design according to the change of age and development of science.

발달장애인을 위한 혼합현실 기반 상황훈련 시스템 (Mixed-Reality Based Situation Training System for the Developmental Disabled)

  • 본 논문은 사용자가 카메라와 트래커가 부착된 HMD를 착용하고, 햅틱 장비를 사용하여 혼합현실 환경 상에서 기계적 상황훈련을 수행하는 시스템에 대하여 설명한다. 본 시스템은 발달장애인들의 시지각 협응능력 향상을 위해 도출된 기계적 상황훈련에 대한 시나리오를 기반으로 한다. 사용자는 HMD를 통해 보여 지는 가상의 핀을 햅틱으로 제어하여 작업판에 꽃는 상황훈련을 수행하고, 시스템은 FSM(Finite State Machine)기반으로 사용자의 행동에 맞는 피드백을 전달한다. 또한, 상황훈련에 대한 현실감을 높여 훈련 효과를 증대시키기 위해 가상 환경에 실제 사용자의 손을 삽입하고, 햅틱을 통해 촉감을 전달한다.

재료의 물성 표현에 영향을 주는 요인 연구 (A study on the effect factor of architectural material expression)

  • In modem days when architectural materials have grave impacts on overall design expression, materials for architecture, especially finishing materials have become the most essential elements for the design expression, as architectural space and form have been. When it comes to the architectural materials, they can be conceived by visual and tactile sensory system and perceptional system which based on memory and experience. This study confirms how materials bring into effect on architecture in the sense of its design. The main subject of this analysis is expression method of architectural finishing materials. Also, this study finds out the relationship between finishing materials and the images of materials by analyzing the effect factor of architectural material expression with the perspectives of materials, formal and environments and by examining roles of the architectural materials in design. The material factor, in the expression of materiality, is how to make tectonic space and to vary the surface of building as finishing material design. The formal factor is related to set up the new direction in the architectural form and to create the dynamic and informal space. And the social and cultural environment as the effect factor gives new situation and context to architectural material expression. This principle enables us to use architectural materials as one of the important elements which express the whole characteristics of the area.

맹인용인공시각보조장치에 관한 연구 (Study for an Artificial Visual Machine for the Blind)

  • 기계적 진동 주파수와 파형, 2점식별 thresho1d 치, 접촉자의 크기에 대한 피체 진동촉각의 기능적 성질을 심리물리실험에 의해 연구했다. 이의 실험 결과를 기초로 하여 압전 진동소자를 이용한 진동촉각 자극장치를 제작하여 한글을 인식하기 위한 맹인용 시각보조 장치로써 제안했다. 촉각출력상은 200 Hz의 구형파에 의해 진동하는 8열×l행의 소형 진동자열에 의해 집게 손가락에 표시했다. NOVA미니컴퓨터의 제어에 의해 한글 자모 24자중 하나를 택하여 진동자열의 8점에 왼쪽에서 오른쪽으로 제시하도록 했다. 한글 식별률실험은 설계한 실험시스템에 의해 학습효과없이 행했으며 측정된 평균식별률은 90%였다.
