I. Background and Purpose Health Indicator system and measurement of health status are an important fields in national health fields. This study reviewed the overall concepts of health and health indicators, health indicator system. The purposes of this study are to build the conceptual health framework, and suggest a health indicator system, in order to correspond to the situation of national health and the demand of International organizations. II. Scope and Contents The scope of this study ; - Review of tile conceptual health framework, health indicators, and health Indicator system - Selection and development of tile new individual health indicators - Suggestion of tile revised health indicator system III. Results of Study This study intented to build the conceptual and framework of national health and provide the measurement tools of health status. This study developed the health indicator system through the conceptual and hierarchial approach to national health. The health indicator system contains 6 concern: areas and each sub-areas. The major concern areas are health state and behavior, deathㆍdiseaseㆍdisability, health care utilization, health resources, health expenditure and finance, other affecting factors on health. This health indicator system is corresponding to the situation of health status patterns and the demand of international organizations. And this health indicator system is considering the present health data production system and the availability of health data.

Artificial neural network (ANN) is known to identify relationships even when some of the input data are very complex, ill-defined and ill-structured. One of the advantages in ANN is that it can discriminate the linearly inseparable data. This study presents an application of ANN to classify and predict the symptomatic status of HIV/AIDS patients. Even though ANN techniques have been applied to a variety of areas, this study has a substantial contribution to the HIV/AIDS care and prevention planning area. ANN model in classifying both the HIV and AIDS status of HIV/AIDS patients is developed and analyzed. The diagnostic accuracy of the ANN in classifying both the HIV status and AIDS status of HIV/AIDS status is evaluated. Several different ANN topologies are applied to AIDS Cost and Services Utilization Survey (ACSUS) datasets in order to demonstrate the model\`s capability. If ANN design models are different, it would be interesting to see what influence would have on classification of HIV/AIDS-related persons.

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting consumer's housing tenure status by various household's characteristics. This study used 1997 KHPS(Korea Household Panel Study) by Daewoo Economic Research Institute and used 1,977 households for the analysis. The results of this research were summarized as follows; 1. There were major differences in household's characteristics by consumer's housing tenure status, except for the household's monthly income and savings. 2. Factors affecting consumer's choice of ‘owning’ a housing and taking a ‘chonsei’ system were very similar, but they affected in the opposite direction. 3. Factors affecting consumer's choice of taking a ‘chonsei’ system and ‘renting’ a house were much more similar, and they affected in the same direction. This study can be useful in developing housing service and design, and housing policy by consumer's choice of housing tenure status.

In this study, physiological status of locomotive engineers were measured through EEG, ECG, EDA, PPG and respiration signals from 6 subjects to evaluate their arousal status during train operating. Existence of tunnels and mechanical vibration of train using 3-axes acceleration sensors were recorded simultaneously and were correlated with operator's physiological status. As the result of the analyzed subjects' physiological signals, mean SCR was increased in the section where more body movement is required. The RR interval was decreased before and after train stop due to the higher level of mental tension. The intensity of beta wave of EEG was found to be higher before and after train stop and tunnel section due to the increased mental arousal and tension. Therefore, it is expected that the outcomes of the physiological signals explored in this study can be utilized as the quantitative assessment methods for the arousal status to be used for sleepiness prevention system for vehicles operators which can greatly contribute to public transportation system safety.

This thesis is to research for analysis of ISO 9000 Quality Management System application status of small & medium-sized Industrial Companies. For this research, 10 companies certified by ISO 9000 standard were selected. By using an evaluation method and a software for analysis of application, this thesis compared, analyzed and evaluated the application status before and after certificate of ISO 9000, and identified the performance and difficulty of QMS application, and then proposed improvement methodology for ISO 9000 effective application.

As the role of robots expands, flexible task planning methods are attracting attention from various domains. Many task planning frameworks are introduced to efficiently work in a wide range of areas. In order to work well in a broad region with multiple robots, various communication conditions should be controlled by task planning frameworks. However, few methods are proposed. In this paper, we propose mission planning methods according to the communication status of robots. The proposed method was verified through experiments assuming different communication states with a multi-robot system.

본 논문에서는 발전설비를 관리하기 위한 RFID 기반의 정보화 시스템 구현에 관한 논문으로, 관리되는 상태 항목에는 자재의 입고 및 출고, 구매 발주, 도면 관리, 설비규격, 운용자 조작, 수주, 재고, 생산 실적, 시스템 관리 등이 있다. 제안된 논문은 발전설비 고장 상태 진단의 모니터링 서비스 제공을 목적으로 RFID 기반 상태 관리시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

인증기관에 의해 발급된 인증서는 개인키 분실, 자격 상실, 키 변경 등의 여러 사유로 유효기간 이전에 폐지될 수 있다. 이로 인해 해당 거래의 사용되는 인증서에 대한 상태 검증은 반드시 선행되어야 한다. 현재 가장 보편적인 방식은 CRL을 이용하는 방식과 OCSP를 이용하는 방식이 있다 하지만 CRL 방식은 인증서 상태에 대한 현재성 보장이 어려우며 OCSP방식은 실시간으로 대용량의 메시지를 이용해 상태 검증을 요청하고 검증을 수행함으로서 많은 통신량을 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 신원 정보에 대한 VDN을 생성하여 검증을 요청하고 인증기관은 해당 VDN에 대한 사용자 신원 정보를 찾아 검증을 수행함으로서 인증서 상태에 대한 현재성 보장 및 서버 과부하 그리고 네트워크 과부하를 해결한다. 이 결과로 인증서 상태 검증 수행 속도를 향상시키는 실시간 인증서 상태 검증 시스템을 제안한다. 또한, 기존 방식들과의 비교 실험을 통해 인증서 상태 검증 수행 속도가 향상됨을 확인하였다.

본 연구는 시 공간적 유동성을 갖고 있는 우리나라 산불 현황정보를 인터넷상에 시각적으로 표출함으로써 일반 사용자 누구나 쉽게 산불정보에 접근 가능하도록 한다. 아울러 산불관련 공무원들이 이들 정보를 실시간에 효율적으로 관리 감독을 할 수 있도록 웹상에서 정보의 입력 및 검색, 출력이 가능한 실무자 중심의 인터페이스를 개발하였다. 본 시스템에서의 웹 서버는 MS사의 IIS 5.0을 이용하였으며 데이터베이스 구축과 웹상에서 동적인 웹 페이지를 동작시키기 위해서는 Oracle 8i와 ASP(active server page)를 각각 사용하였다. 또한, 웹상에서 처리된 정보를 사용자들에게 지도데이터로 서비스하기 위한 맵 서버로는 ESRI사의 ArcGIS IMS(internet map server)와 이들을 제어하고 개발하기 위한 시스템 개발 언어로는 Java, VB 6.0, HTML을 이용하였다. 본 시스템을 통해 운영되는 12년 간의 다양한 산불관련 현황데이터를 바탕으로 우리나라 산불 경향과 현황을 쉽게 파악할 뿐만 아니라 이들 정보의 시각화는 국내 산불관련 정책결정 시 의사결정지원시스템으로서도 그 활용성이 클 것이라 사료된다. 나아가 일반국민들에게는 산불예방에 대한 경각심을 고취하고 관련 공무원들에게는 과학적이고 체계적인 산불 행정업무를 수행할 수 있도록 하는 기반을 마련하리라 기대된다.

이 논문에서는 위성항법시스템의 운영 현황과 개발 계획에 대하여 기술하였다. 미국의 GPS(Global Positioning System)와 러시아의 GLONASS(Global Navigation Satellite System), 유럽의 Galileo, 중국의 Beidou/Compsss, 그리고 일본의 QZSS(Quasi-Zenith Satellite System) 에 대하여 시스템의 구성과 운영 위성 상태에 대하여 기술하였으며, 각 시스템의 개발 계획과 현대화에 대하여 기술하였다.
