전기분야 실적공사비 적산제도에서 이윤산정 분석 및 제안 (A Profit Calculating Analysis and a Proposal of Estimation System of Historical Cost Data in the Electrical Construction Works)

  • Since Jan. 2004, the Ministry of Construction and Transportation has partly introduced estimation system of historical cost data in order to reflect result cost of construction market to cost estimation for public construction. It is expected that the purpose of the introduction would be evaluated considering the long-term development of domestic construction industry. In article 3, paragraph 4 of the planning criteria of estimated cost of financial regulation related to government contract rule, the profit estimated by historical cost data indicates sales profit and it is calculated by multiplying the sum of direct cost, indirect cost and general overhead by rate of profit. Finally, it is said that rate of profit cannot exceeds 10%. However, there are a lot of constructions for electronic equipment in the electronic construction and the proportion of government furnished material is very high, not like engineering works or constructions. Therefore, as the proportion of material cost over direct cost is relatively lower if current rate of exceeds (10%) is applied, there would be a wide difference of cost in the items of profit under the estimation system of historical cost data. This paper was conducted to examine estimation methods of the items of profit under the estimation system of historical cost data and suggest reasonable applications.

  • 소프트웨어 제품의 시장 경쟁력을 향상시키기 위해서는 이해관계자의 요구사항에 부합하는 품질을 제공하는 동시에 개발 예산 내에 개발 가능한 아키텍처를 획득할 수 있는 방안이 요구된다. 하지만 아키텍처의 품질 검토 및 선정을 위해 사용되는 기존 아키텍처 평가 기법은 아키텍처 설계를 통해 획득 가능한 품질속성에만 초점을 맞추고 있어 아키텍처가 개발 비용에 미치는 영향을 체계적으로 고려하지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 비용 추정 모델인 COCOMO II를 적용한 아키텍처 비용 추정 기법을 제안하여 기존 아키텍처 평가와 병행 가능한 비용 분석을 통해 기존 아키텍처 평가 기법을 보완하며 품질과 비용이 함께 고려된 아키텍처 선정을 지원한다. 제안 기법의 정확성 검증을 위해 본 논문의 기법을 RPS (Robot Patrol System)의 아키텍처 후보 목록에 적용한 뒤 비용 추정 결과를 각 아키텍처 후보의 실측 공수와 비교하였다.

Performance Analysis of PAPR and LS Estimation in OFDM Systems

  • The inherent feature of the highly efficient spectrum usage has made Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) preferable for Communication Standards. This study evaluated the performance of a Least Square (LS) estimator for a comb-type pilot insertion scheme over a fast fading Rayleigh channel. A High Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is one of the major downsides of the OFDM. The effects of an increase in the number of subcarriers on PAPR and the performance of the LS Estimator were studied. Increasing the number of subcarriers while keeping the pilots overhead constant resulted in improved performance of the LS estimator but the PAPR increased with increasing number of subcarriers. Therefore some trade-off between the number of subcarriers and the performance of the OFDM system is needed. The Mean Square Error (MSE) expression was also derived for the LS estimator in the case of a comb-type pilot arrangement. The MSE expression clearly explains the effects of the number of subcarriers on the performance of the LS estimator.

  • Introduction of construction cost estimating system is necessary to promote appropriate reflection of construction cost and simplified and efficient amount work. The results of this study are as follows. In the results of considering the basic concept and composition of a construction type estimating system, an example orders are concentrated on an apartment house in the country. The building appurtenant work of extension work is high(1.52) as compared with others. In regression analysis for a construction cost, the models are as follows. In a new construction work, (construction cost)=$12,004.8+4.09{\times}$(building area), and in extension work, (construction cost)=$-121.9+4.50{\times}$(building area). Accordingly, this study wishes to compare and analyzes main contents of original cost method and results cost method, and propose predetermined amount estimation device through existent literature study investigation for accumulation of the construction cost.

다중 컴퓨터 망에서 신경회로망 설계를 위한 고속병렬처리 시스템의 구현 (An Implementation of High-Speed Parallel Processing System for Neural Network Design by Using the Multicomputer Network)

  • In this paper, an implementation of high-speed parallel processing system for neural network design on the multicomputer network is presented. Linear speedup expandability is increased by reducing the synchronization penalty and the communication overhead. Also, we presented the parallel processing models and their performance evaluation models for each of the parallization methods of the neural network. The results of the experiments for the character recognition of the neural network bases on the proposed system show that the proposed approach has the higher linear speedup expandability than the other systems. The proposed parallel processing models and the performance evaluation models could be used effectively for the design and the performance estimation of the neural network on the multicomputer network.

지하철 사고 감시를 위한 스테레오 비디오 부호화 기법 (Stereoscopic Video Coding for Subway Accident Monitoring System)

  • In this paper, we propose a stereoscopic video coding scheme for subway accident monitoring system. The proposed designed for providing flexible video among various displays, such ass control center, station employees and train driver. We uses MPEG-2 standard for coding the left-view sequence and IBMDC coding scheme predicts matching block by interpolating both motion and disparity predicted macroblocks. To provide efficient stereoscopic video service, we define both temporally and spatially scalable layers for each eye's-view by using the concept of Spatio-Temporal scalability. The experimental results show the efficiency of proposed coding scheme by comparison with already known methods and the advantages of disparity estimation in terms of scalability overhead. According to the experimental results, we expect the proposed functionalities will play a key role in establishing highly flexible stereoscopic video codec for ubiquitous display environment where devices and network connections are heterogeneous.

Throughput-efficient Online Relay Selection for Dual-hop Cooperative Networks

  • This paper presents a design for a throughput-efficient online relay selection scheme for dual-hop multi-relay cooperative networks. Problems arise with these networks due to unpredictability of the relaying link quality and high time-consumption to probe the dual-hop link. In this paper, we firstly propose a novel probing and relaying protocol, which greatly reduces the overhead of the dual-hop link estimation by leveraging the wireless broadcasting nature of the network. We then formulate an opportunistic relay selection process for the online decision-making, which uses a tradeoff between obtaining more link information to establish better cooperative relaying and minimizing the time cost for dual-hop link estimation to achieve higher throughput. Dynamic programming is used to construct the throughput-optimal control policy for a typically heterogeneous Rayleigh fading environment, and determines which relay to probe and when to transmit the data. Additionally, we extend the main results to mixed Rayleigh/Rician link scenarios, i.e., where one side of the relaying link experiences Rayleigh fading while the other has Rician distribution. Numerical results validate the effectiveness and superiority of our proposed relaying scheme, e.g., it achieves at least 107% throughput gain compared with the state of the art solution.

  • 본 논문에서는 다중사용자 환경의 상향링크 가상적 MIMO-OFDM 시스템 기반 하에서 정보 이론적인 관점에서의 합 전송률을 최대화 할 수 있는 최적의 사용자 수에 대하여 분석하였다. 다중 안테나 기반의 기지국과 단일 안테나용 단말기를 기반으로 하고 있으며 주파수 비선택적 블록 페이딩 및 시변 페이딩 채널 하의 파일럿 기반의 채널 추정 방식을 가정하였다. 이론적 분석을 통하여 낮은 SNR 영역에서 다중화 이득과 파일럿 오버헤드 간의 트레이드오프가 있음을 증명하였고 동일한 파일럿 및 신호 전력이 주어질 때, 주파수 비선택적 블록 채널에서의 시스템 성능을 최대화 하는 최적의 사용자 수는 min ($N_r$,LT/2)으로 결정되는 반면, 페이딩 채널에서는 min($N_r$, ${\lfloor}{\sqrt{LT+1}}-1{\rfloor}$)으로 접근함을 보여 준다.

MB-OFDM 기반 UWB 시스템을 위한 효율적인 주파수 옵셋 추정기의 설계 (Design of Efficient frequency Offset Estimator for MB-OFDM based UWB Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 MB-OFDM 기반 UWB 시스템을 위한 효율적인 주파수 옵셋 추정 기법을 제안한다. MB-OFDM 시스템에서 사용되는 시간-주파수 인터리빙 기법은 동일 서브 밴드 내에서 전송되는 두 OFDM 심볼간의 시간 간격을 늘어나게 한다. 이로 인해 주파수 옵셋의 추정 범위가 감소되어 시스템 성능이 열화될 뿐 아니라 저장해야 할 샘플 수가 증가하여 하드웨어 복잡도가 높아질 수 있다. 제안된 주파수 옵셋 추정 기법은 제안된 부호 검출 기법의 적용을 통하여 추정 범위를 확장시킨다. 모의실험 결과, 최대 추정 값이 기존 방식에 비해 약 30ppm 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 세 개의 서브 밴드 중 하나에서만 주파수 옵셋을 추정하고 나머지는 관계식을 이용해 계산하는 방식으로 저장해야 할 샘플 수를 기존 방식의 약 1/3 정도로 감소시켰다. 제안된 기법이 적용된 주파수 옵셋 추정기는 하드웨어 오버 헤드를 최소화하기 위해 연산기와 메모리 유닛을 공유하는 구조로 설계되었으며 $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS 표준 셀 라이브러리를 이용하여 약 47K 개의 논리 게이트로 합성되었다.

  • In this paper, an adaptive DPCM scheme is presented for encoding monochrome images with easy hardware implementation at a transmission rate of exactly 1 bit/pel. The system is mainly composed of a compensated mean predictor and an adaptive two-level quantizer with backward estimation. In this system, the predictor is a sort of two-dimensional ARMA predictor in which a moving-average part is added to the conventional mean predictor. The quantizer adapts to the local statistics of its input without overhead information. To reduce annoying granular noise in the reconstructed image, Lee filter is used after reconstruction in the receiver.
