유량 데이터 오차율 분석을 통한 최적의 유량데이터 취득방안 제안 (The Propose of Optimal Flow Data Acquisition by Error Rate Analysis of Flow Data)

  • Recently, application areas based on M2M (Machine-to-Machine communications) and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies are expanding rapidly. Accordingly, water flow and water quality management improvements are being pursued by applying this technology to water and sewage facilities. Especially, water management will collect and store accurate data based on various ICT technologies, and then will expand its service range to remote meter-reading service using smart metering system. For this, the error in flow rate data transmitting should be minimized to obtain credibility on related additional service system such as real time water flow rate analysis and billing. In this study, we have identified the structural problems in transmitting process and protocol to minimize errors in flow rate data transmission and its handling process which is essential to water supply pipeline management. The result confirmed that data acquisition via communication system is better than via analogue current values and pulse, and for communication method case, applying the industrial standard protocol is better for minimizing errors during data acquisition versus applying user assigned method.

  • 도형의 합동은 도형의 대칭이나 도형그리기를 배우는 데에 기본이 되며, 도형의 성질을 이해하고 모양을 그리는 능력을 기르게 할 수 있다. 도형의 합동을 공부해야 일상 생활에서 필요로 하는 디자인이나 아름다운 예술 작품에 대한 소양을 가질 수 있다. 하지만 합동 학습을 할 때에 개념을 형성하는데 드는 시간보다 종이를 자르고 도형의 본을 뜨는 행동과 같은 구체적 조작 시간이 많이 소요되기 때문에 학생들 간의 상호작용은 물론 교사와 학생들과의 상호작용 시간도 기대하기 어렵다. 따라서 초등학교 학생들에게 학습효과를 높일 수 있도록 발문 중심적 상호작용 중심 모형을 합동학습에 적용하여 학습자들이 합동의 개념을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하였고 동시에 동시적 비동시적 의사소통이 가능한 웹상에서 실시하는 합동학습 시스템을 개발하고 적용하였다.

  • 인터넷이 널리 보급되면서 웹을 이용한 이러닝 교육방법이 활성화되고 있다. 웹 기반 교육에 있어서 수학도 예외는 아니다. 그런데 수학식을 웹 마크업 언어 HTML의 이미지 태그를 이용하여 표현하면 구조적 특정을 가지는 수학식의 표현과 검색이 어렵게 되고, 수학 관련 어플리케이션에서의 재사용이 어렵게 된다는 문제가 발생한다. 그래서 본 논문은 MathML에 기반하고, ActiveX 컨트롤 기술을 이용한 수학식 생성 웹사이트를 설계하고 구현한다. 본 시스템은 ActivcX 컨트롤 기술을 이용하기 때문에 웹상에서 시공간 제약 없이 수학식 생성을 할 수 있고, 프로그램의 최신 버전 관리가 가능하다. 또한 본 시스템에서 생성한 수학식을 저장 가능하게 하여 차후에 재사용이 가능하도록 하였다.

On a Model of Forming the Optimal Parameters of the Recognition Algorithms

  • In this work, we present solutions of two problems. First, the representation of pattern recognition problem in the standard $T_{nml}$ table of the algorithm estimate calculation was considered. Second, the problem of finding the model, consisting of the optimal parameters of an algorithm was considered. Such procedure is carried out by the selection optimal values of the parameters of extreme algorithms. This serves to reduce the number of calculations in the algorithms of estimate calculation and to increase the quality of recognition process. The algorithmic data base of the developed system was based on mathematical apparatus of pattern recognition.

  • This research deals with the vibration analysis of embedded smart concrete plate reinforced by zinc oxide (ZnO). The effective material properties of structure are considered based on mixture rule. The elastic medium is simulated by orthotropic visco-Pasternak medium. The motion equations are derived applying Sinusoidal shear deformation theory (SSDT). The differential quadrature (DQ) method is applied for calculating frequency of structure. The effects of different parameters such as volume percent of ZnO, boundary conditions and geometrical parameters on the frequency of system are shown. The results are compared with other published works in the literature. Results indicate that the ZnO have an important role in frequency of structure.

  • In this article we study the problem to determine all occurring Betti diagrams of varieties $X{\subset}\mathbb{P}^r$ of almost minimal degree, i.e. deg(X) = codim(X; $\mathbb{P}^r$)+2. We describe a realistic picture of how many different kind of Betti diagrams exist at all (Theorem 3.1). By means of the computer algebra system "SINGULAR", we obtain a complete list of all occurring Betti diagrams in the cases where codim$(X,\mathbb{P}^r){\leq}8$.

Vehicle Image Recognition Using Deep Convolution Neural Network and Compressed Dictionary Learning

  • In this paper, a vehicle recognition algorithm based on deep convolutional neural network and compression dictionary is proposed. Firstly, the network structure of fine vehicle recognition based on convolutional neural network is introduced. Then, a vehicle recognition system based on multi-scale pyramid convolutional neural network is constructed. The contribution of different networks to the recognition results is adjusted by the adaptive fusion method that adjusts the network according to the recognition accuracy of a single network. The proportion of output in the network output of the entire multiscale network. Then, the compressed dictionary learning and the data dimension reduction are carried out using the effective block structure method combined with very sparse random projection matrix, which solves the computational complexity caused by high-dimensional features and shortens the dictionary learning time. Finally, the sparse representation classification method is used to realize vehicle type recognition. The experimental results show that the detection effect of the proposed algorithm is stable in sunny, cloudy and rainy weather, and it has strong adaptability to typical application scenarios such as occlusion and blurring, with an average recognition rate of more than 95%.

ABUNDANT SEMIGROUPS WITH QUASI-IDEAL S-ADEQUATE TRANSVERSALS

  • In this paper, the connection of the inverse transversal with the adequate transversal is explored. It is proved that if S is an abundant semigroup with an adequate transversal $S^o$, then S is regular if and only if $S^o$ is an inverse semigroup. It is also shown that adequate transversals of a regular semigroup are just its inverse transversals. By means of a quasi-adequate semigroup and a right normal band, we construct an abundant semigroup containing a quasi-ideal S-adequate transversal and conversely, every such a semigroup can be constructed in this manner. It is simpler than the construction of Guo and Shum [9] through an SQ-system and the construction of El-Qallali [5] by W(E, S).

  • Instrumentation and Control systems (I&C) play a significant role in nuclear power plants (NPP) and other safety critical systems (SCS). We have conducted a rigorous study and discussions with experienced practitioners worldwide the strategy for the development of I&C systems to investigate the several aspects related to their dependability. We discussed with experienced practitioners that work on nuclear domain with the intention of knowing their approach, they use day-to-day for the development of such systems. The aim of this research is to obtain to provide guidance to those building I&C systems of NPP and have implications on state engineering licensure boards, in the determination of legal liability, and in risk assessment for policymakers, corporate governors, and insurance executives.

  • Network coding is promising to maximize network throughput and improve the resilience to random network failures in various networking systems. In this paper, the problem of providing efficient confidentiality for practical network coding system against a global eavesdropper (with full eavesdropping capabilities to the network) is considered. By exploiting a novel combination between the construction technique of systematic Maximum Distance Separable (MDS) erasure coding and traditional cryptographic approach, two efficient schemes are proposed that can achieve the maximum possible rate and minimum encryption overhead respectively on top of any communication network or underlying linear network code. Every generation is first subjected to an encoding by a particular matrix generated by two (or three) Vandermonde matrices, and then parts of coded vectors (or secret symbols) are encrypted before transmitting. The proposed schemes are characterized by tunable and measurable degrees of security and also shown to be of low overhead in computation and bandwidth.
