인터넷의 급속한 팽창으로 인해 가용 정보의 양이 폭발적으로 증가하고 있으나 이에 대응되는 효과적이고 효율적인 정보 검색 능력의 지원이 없다면 방대한 가용 정보들은 정보 사용자들에게 있어 이용 될 가치가 없으며 이는 곧 정보 범람(information overflow)으로 이어진다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 해결 방안으로써 한국어 표준 문형의 패턴을 기술하고 한국어 문장 구조(Korean Syntax Structure) 파악을 통한 메타 검색 시스템 설계를 제안한다.

The case marking phenomenon in Korean is closely related to semantic entailment and should be studied as an interface between syntax and semantics. Assuming a direct mapping between syntactic realization and semantic information, this study investigates the role of the accusative marker ul/lul in Korean, and explores the semantic constraints working on the argument realization on the basis of proto-roles hypothesis. Specifically, I will study various types of case alternations in Korean and clarify the role of the accusative marker ul/lul, which manifests the distinction between direct object NPs and oblique NPs.

본 논문에서는 논문 메타 데이터 특성 분석 연구를 토대로 데이터 변환 방법들을 고안하고 스키마 매핑 및 변환시스템을 구현한다. 빅 데이터 분석을 위해서는 다양한 시스템의 데이터베이스에 축적된 데이터를 공통의 형식으로 변환하는데, 현재의 데이터 변환 시스템들은 구문 의존적 문제와 사용의 불편함을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서 구현된 시스템은 논문 메타데이터 분야에 특화된 시스템으로, 사용하기 쉬운 스키마 매핑 인터페이스를 가지고 있으며 다양한 논문 데이터 구문을 변환할 수 있다. 또한 시스템에 등록되지 않은 새로운 스키마를 가진 데이터가 입력되더라도 시스템의 재 컴파일이 필요 없다. 본 시스템은 사용성 평가를 통하여 시스템 사용성 평균 점수로 89.25점을 받았다.

Recently, hospital patients experience anxiety, confusion, and stress about wayfinding as the spacial layout and treatment circulatory system of hospitals have become complicated due to their oversized and complex structure. As part of finding a solution to the problem, this study seeks to examine what are the essential elements of the wayfinding planning of O.P.D. in general hospitals, to develop the model of wayfinding, and to suggest the methods of improving the wayfinding system. The research methods of this study adopted were literature review in wayfinding cognition, plan analysis of ten general hospitals, space analysis of these hospitals through space syntax, analysis of the system of visual-perceptual information through a field study, and analysis of surveys and follow-up surveys conducted to support the results. Based on these results, the proposals for finding decision points, providing the information, and developing a model planning are listed as follows. 1) The comprehensive understanding of O.P.D. spacial layout and the visual-perceptual information system is necessary to find the essential elements of wayfinding. 2) The decision points are found through the full understanding of spacial functions, circulation systems, and facility configuration, considering the spacial layout, the bound of the visual-perceptual information system, and the circulatory system. Furthermore, the information decision points could be confined by space syntax. 3) The checklist and color compound & color codes, developed through the planning of signage system and color system could be applied to the methods of providing the information. 4) The planning of wayfinding system according to the whole process of practices for outpatients was mentioned above. The system of visual-perceptual information developed through the process of this study should be integrated in the spacial layout of the whole O.P.D.

최근 농촌지역이 쇠퇴하면서 농촌사회의 중심공간이었던 전통정기시장이 점차 축소되고 상권이 붕괴되면서 존폐를 위협하고 있는 실정이다. 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 전통정기시장의 활성화를 위한 대안을 제시하고 있지만 사회적, 지리적 관점에서 이루어진 연구는 정량적으로 분석하는데 한계가 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 강원도의 대표적인 5일장이었던 평창 대화장을 대상으로 정량적인 분석방법인 공간구문론을 활용하여 공간구조 및 보행동선을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 전체적인 공간구조는 통합도와 명료도가 높게 나타나 방문객이 전체 공간을 인지하고 이동하기에 효율적인 구조이지만 소비를 촉진시키는 전략이 필요할 것으로 판단되었다. 또한 보행동선을 분석한 결과 시장의 중심부에 위치하거나 주요시설 주변에 분포하는 동선의 통합도가 높게 나타났다. 자연발생적으로 생겨난 전통정기시장은 단순하고 명료한 공간구조를 갖고 있다는 점에서 문제점이 있으며, 쇠퇴한 정기시장을 활성화하기 위해서는 장소성을 강화하고 방문객의 소비를 촉진하는 전략이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Frequency adverbs can be interpreted as an adverb of quantification, and also as a frequentative adverb. These interpretations are related to the frequency adverbs' distributions, and the relation between semantics and syntax of frequency adverbs can be observed more explicitly when they appear with some other expressions in a sentence. Two frequency adverbs in Korean, cacwu and cakkwu, which seem to mean 'often/frequently', will be dealt with. We will specify their syntactic position by their interpretations derived from the relative ordering with other elements.

본 연구는 인터넷상에서 제공되는 지적콘텐츠에 대한 영속적이고 고유한 식별 체계인 DOI 상용 서비스의 일환으로 DOI 구문을 구성하고 있는 Prefix와 Suffix 식별코드를 개발하였다. 이를 위해서 현재 인터넷상에서 지적콘텐츠를 유통시키고 있는 기관들을 조사 분류하여 콘텐츠 보유기관 식별코드를 개발하였다. 또한 지적콘텐츠의 속성 및 유형 분석을 토대로 Suffix 코드의 구조 및 식별코드를 개발하였으며 관련 콘텐츠간의 연계를 위한 저작권 식별기호를 고려하였다.

There have been some notes on the functional unity of rules or conspiracy in Linguistics. In this paper, I show that so-called 'elsewhere condition', first mentioned in phonology, is observed not only in phonology, but also in morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. And I argue that it is a kind of functional unity of rules or conspiracy in cross-component of linguistic theories. How to handle this in the macro-scopic view of linguist ice is another major issue in further research.

The so-called Korean BNC (bound noun construction) displays complex syntactic, semantic, and constructional properties. This paper, couched upon a constraint-based approach, two different syntactic structures for the construction with articulated lexical properties for the BNs and relevant predicates. The paper reports an implementation of this analysis in the LKB (Linguistic Knowledge Building) system and shows us that this direction is robust enough to pare relevant sentences.

This paper describes our recent work for developing a baseline platform for Korean spoken dialog recognition. In our work, We have collected about 65 hour speech corpus with auditory transcriptions. Linguistic information on various levels such as mophology, syntax, semantics, and discourse is attached to the speech database by using automatic or semi-automatic tools for tagging linguistic information.
