Recent expansion of urban parks has been partly successful in terms of providing urban outdoor recreation space. Unfortunately we paid very little attention to the importance of providing regional identity to urban parks until recently. Thus one of the most important tasks of the contemporary landscape architects of Korea is to investigate ways to improve regional identity of urban parks. This study is aimed at evaluating how well the current urban parks have realized their own regional identity. To test the effectiveness of the concept of 'identity', the identity items were created, while a research model was developed by using such variables as in urban park identity, park satisfaction, belongingness to the region, and residential satisfaction. In order to test the model, the causations were analyzed. Meanwhile, the scales to evaluating identity were reviewed by means of the unstructures group interview, and were finally determined as 10 items; culture, uniqueness, symbolic, historic nature, homogeneity, harmony, difference, public benefit, nativeness and traditionality. Data from three new towns in the capital region-Bundang, Ilsan and Sanbon-were collected, and their central parks were referred to a questionnaire survey. The data were processed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and path analysis. It was found through this survey that subjects 'sentiments regarding the sample towns' regional identity differed slightly. Residents of Bundang felt the strongest amount of regional identity, followed by those of Ilsan and Sanbon. In addition, the most important scale on regional identity is 'park satisfaction', followed by 'belongingness to the region' and 'residental satisfaction'. The path analysis was conducted to interpret the causations in a more detailed and comprehensive way than correlation analysis. As a result, it was proven that the regional identity affects 'belingingness to region' through the intermediated variable 'park satisfaction', while affecting ' residential satisfaction' through the intermediate variables 'park satisfaction' and 'beligningness to region'. In other words, although the regional identity of a park does not directly affect 'belongingness to region' or 'residental satisfaction', it has indirect effects on them through intermediate variables.

The modern trend in costumes, influenced by postmodernism, is to use of various patterns and images borrowed from diverse cultures of many ethnic groups. The Yi tribe studied in this paper is miner ethnic group in China, whose traditional costume is very splendid and modern. In addition, its embroidery or $appliqu{\acute{e}}$ pattern have a high artistic value in that its shapes are diverse, splendid and each one has its own peculiar elegance. As for the research method, I examined the Yi tribe's history, culture, traditional costumes and patterns through related books, research papers and inter web sites. As for the result, the Yi tribe's costumes consisted of a jacket, trousers or a skirt, an apron and a belt. Although the favorite color of the costume is black color, there are splendid embroidery or $appliqu{\acute{e}}$ decorations with the colors of red, yellow, green and purple on the chest or shoulder part of a jacket, the adjusting lines, cuffs or a part of a trousers and aprons. Patterns in their traditional clothing also show details that depict traditional cultural ideas that have long been formed in various fields, such as aesthetics, religion, philosophy, and customs. Moreover, most patterns displayed in their traditional clothing contain nature motifs and represent unique and beautiful designs; some patterns are even reminiscent of abstract paintings by modern artists. In conclusion, the traditional patterns of Chinese ethnic minorities reflect the values and notions of these races as well as decorative magnificence and a unique spiritual image. In other words, traditional patterns indicate the spiritual depth or symbolic stories beyond mere formative beauty.

TCP/IP 표준을 개발하는 IETF의 상위 기구인 IAB는 작은 사물에도 TCP/IP protocol stack을 붙이기로 결정했다. 이는 하나의 작은 사물도 하나의 통신 노드로 인정하여, 이를 다섯 개의 전 계층이 올라간 스마트 오브젝트로 확장하겠다는 상징적인 의미를 가진다. 이러한 배경 아래서 등장한 것이 웹을 기반으로 사물 간 지능적으로 네트워크를 구성해 통신하는 IoT/WoT이다. CoAP는 제한된 환경 내에서 사용할 수 있는 프로토콜로 사물이 인터넷에 연결될 것을 예상하여 만든 표준 규약이다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 CoAP 네트워크가 구축된 환경에서 CoAP와 연결되어 관련 사물들의 데이터를 수집하며 관리할 수 있는 Middleware API를 제안하고자 한다.

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to develop a textbook of the integrated education of Korean food culture and language for married female immigrants. Methods: An analysis was conducted with the textbooks and researches for married female immigrants, and dietary life related contents were extracted. The contents were organized by activity oriented approach which is acquired the culture. The evaluation was conducted through depth interview with 6 married female immigrants through an analysis of the qualitative materials. Results: The text book comprised of 30 Korean food recipes with the target expressions and vocabularies. It also included Korean basic table setting, Korean table manner, main dishes and side dishes, basic cutting, seasoning and garnish, measure of the ingredients, symbolic food, regional food culture, choice of food ingredients, shopping, bargaining, taste expression, color expression, all sorts of spices, Korean traditional festival food, and seasonal customs and food. For intensifying communication, activity which is close to real life was added. Through cooking, married female immigrants expose words and sentence patterns and that allows to evaluate their level of understanding. We observed that the developed textbook is suited for married female immigrants' needs and cognitive level. The text book included a comparative study between Korean culture and their country's culture, which could provide the motive for accepting each other's cultures. The study showed how to develop a textbook that integrates Korean language education and Korean food culture and how to apply the textbook in real life. Conclusions: The correct understanding about Korean food culture could lead to improvements communication ability. Useful information which relates to Korean food, recipes, and food culture could increase daily life satisfaction. Conducting both cultural education and language education could increase the participation of married female immigrants in learning activities. Therefore this study could help these females to adapt Korean society and manage family dietary life effectively.

창조적 판매환경은 소비자에게 기업 이미지를 효과적으로 전달하여 소비욕구를 증진시키고 신뢰감을 형성하며, 이는 결과적으로 기업의 이윤확대로 이어지게 된다. 따라서 오늘날과 같이 기업간의 경쟁과잉으로 인해 그 차별성이 모호해진 경우 소비자의 개성충족을 위한 매장 디자인은 더욱 중요한 부분으로 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소비자의 다양한 요구와 무분별해진 상업공간의 이미지 차별화를 위한 방안을 제시함에 있어서 벽을 중요한 요소로 인식하였다. 패션전문점에서의 벽을 기존의 구조적이고 단순판매를 위한 진열적 성격의 한계성에서 벗어나 공간에서 시각적 기능을 가진 요소로 해석하였다. 기존 구조벽이 갖는 물리적인 중요성보다 상징적, 시각적 측면에서의 기능성과 구성방법의 측면에서 접근하였다. 또한 구조 내력벽을 중심으로 시지각(視知覺) 빈도가 높은 내벽면과 사인성을 가진 파사드의 상호연관성을 분석하여 패션전문점에서의 벽면 구성에 의한 효과적인 이미지 표현방법을 제시하고자 하였다.

This is a case study trying to understand from the view of affordance which certain three middle school students perceive an activation of previous knowledge in the course of problem solving when they solve algebra word problems with a previous knowledge. The results of this study showed that at first, every subjects perceived the text as affordance which explaining superficial similarities, that is, a working(painting)situation rather than problem structure and then activated the related solution knowledge on the ground of the experience of previous problem solving which is similar to current situation. The subject's applying process for solving knowledge could be arranged largely into two types. The first type is a numeral information connected with the described problem situation or a symbolic representation of mathematical meaning which are the transformed solution applied process with a suitable solution formula to the current problem. This process achieved by constructing a virtual mental model that indicating mathematical situation about the problem when the solver read the problem integrating symbolized information from the described text. The second type is a case that those subjects symbolizing a formal mathematical concept which is not connected with the problem situation about the described numeral information from the applied problem or the text of mathematical meaning, which process is the case to perceive superficial phrases or words that described from the problem as affordance and then applied previously used algorithmatical formula as it was. In conclusion, on the ground of the results of this case study, it is guessed that many students put only algorithmatical knowledge in their memories through previous experiences of problem solving, and the memories are connected with the particular phrases described from the problems. And it is also recognizable when the reflection process which is the last step of problem solving carried out in the process of understanding the problem and making a plan showed the most successful in problem solving.

The purpose of this study is to see and compare the contemporary Korean-Thai female poems from a feminine standpoint to newly clarify the textuality of their poems. The textuality defined in this manuscript is the text of Korean-Thai contemporary female poems. To newly clarify the textuality of their poems are to go against the existing discussion method and to newly read out the text as re-vision method. This discussion is to analyse deeply how the central exis composing a text which is the identity of woman in a body, appearance of uttrance, or action of abjection is exposed in gender space and to identify the poem's textuality. In other words, through in-depth analysis of the text of poems, which are very complicated as a skein of yarn, place a high value of Korean-Thai female poems. Transcending time, nations and races, if the text of female poem would not free from a biased male-dominated thinking or make a mystery of female poem textuality without critics or tend to be stereotype the text of poem as pathos of female, it would not get out from man-centered reading. To escape from the state of sexual discrimination, the new reading method was seriously analysed and found out that the female text poems not only implicate sexual discrimination but also link to expansive cultural and social structure. And for that reason, this study raise a question to male-dominant sexual discriminated norm. It is very significant that through this elaborate and in-depth text poem analysis, a creation process of female poem is traced. Eventually, the comparative study on Korean-Thai female poems is meaningful and worthy in regard to the contribution to promotion of cultural exchange between korea-Thai two nations and furthermore extend to East Asia to make a basement for the vitalization of Asia comparative literature.

본 연구는 고레에다 히로카즈의 다큐멘터리 <이시부미>의 의미작용 구조와 신화적 의미에 대해 분석하고 있다. 즉, 스토리텔링을 구성하고 있는 기호적 요소들의 의미작용 구조에 관해 접근함으로써, <이시부미>가 함축하고 있는 신화적 의미를 폭넓게 살펴보는 것이다. 그것은 그가 추구하는 미학적 형식의 본질적인 특징을 살펴보는 것일 뿐만 아니라, 다큐멘터리 스토리텔링의 의미적 가치를 확대하는 미학적 유형을 분석하는 것이기도 하다. 특히, 고레에다 히로카즈는 <이시부미>에서 전형적이며 상징적인 요소를 스토리텔링 과정에서 조화롭게 활용하고 있으며, 그와 같은 이중적인 미학적 형식을 적용함으로써 시대적으로 요구되는 신화적 의미를 관객에게 효과적으로 전달하고 있다. 그러므로 <이시부미>는 신화적 의미를 발산하는 의미작용 체계이며, 그것은 관객의 상상력에 신뢰감을 가진 고레에다 히로카즈의 미학적 의도가 반영된 것이다.

This writing, focused on by Tarkovsky and by Song, Il-gon, examines moments of sage which is what Eliade described as 'hierophanic time'. These productions, which can be seen as movies that seek after the truth, show important paradoxical ideas and expressions in those moments. This is because symbolic messages from unrealistic and out of ordinary images are specifically shown. If they had to be compared, through the film by Tarkovsky, the technical civilization of contemporary society in an apocalyptic view is criticized and saved, or the prophetic will to not give up the desire for salvation is shown. In the process, the short shots which forces to show hierophanic time not only diversely visualized the author's ideological self-consciousness towards the conversion of the new world, but it also fulfills the metahistorical meanings mentioned by Eliade. However, in the film by Song, Il-gon, the realistic personal sufferings of three women is specifically shown first in extreme. They overcome their unsolvable problems through mysterious rituals and belief in miracles. In the scenes that include hierophanic time, there are many cases that cover Christian faith and the meaning of salvation. In other words, we can say that hierophanic time in , are related to conviction which led to moments of miracles in order to overcome reality. Therefore, even though there is a difference in the way authors use hierophanic time, the scenes that show it in the two movies display individuality of mythical imaginations disclosed by Eliade. This is because the general hope for reproduction, or meaningful symbols related to the ideal conversion of affairs are revealed.

This essay attempts to read Melville's Moby-Dick as a prefiguration of American pragmatism, especially Jamesian version of it. Underlying this project is the assumption that the American Romance and James's pragmatism partake in the enduring tradition of American thoughts and imagination. Despite the commonality in their roots, the continuity between these two products of American culture has received few critical assessments. The American Romance has rarely been discussed in terms of American pragmatism in part because critics have tended to narrowly define the latter as a kind of relativistic philosophy equivalent to practical instrumentalism, political realism and romantic utilitarianism. Consequently, they have favored literary works in the realistic tradition for their textual analyses, while eschewing a more imaginative genre like the American Romance. My contention is that James's version of pragmatism is a future oriented pluralism which is unable to dispense with the power of imagination and the talent for seeing unforeseen possibilities inherent in nature and culture. James's pragmatism is in tune with the American Romance in that it savours the attractions of alternative possibilities created by the genre in which the imaginary world is imbued with the actual one. The pragmatic impulse in Moby-Dick finds its finest expression in the words and acts of Ishmael. Through this protean narrator, Melville renders the text of Moby-Dick symbolic, fragmentary and thereby pluralistic in its meaning. With his rhetoric of incompletion and by refraining from totalizing what he experiences, Ishmael shuns finality in truth and entices the reader to join his intellectual journey with a non-foundational notion of truth and meaning in view. Ishmael also envisages pragmatists' beliefs that experience is fluid in nature and the universe is in a constant state of becoming. Yet Ishmael as the narrator of Moby-Dick is more functional than foundational.
