From ancient times. lotus pattern had esthetic factor and symbolic factor. Lotus pattern was introduced to China, and it was grafted together with Chinese peculiar culture symbol system, thereafter it has changed and developed. The Chinese taking a serious view meaning that things include, and they frequently use several lucky omen patterns in their everyday life. In this study, I investigated laying stress on symbolism about Lotus patterns of China lucky omen patterns, and I wanted to present possibility that can approach to Chinese culture in new angle. Through result of this study, symbol of Lotus patterns can divide two directions. First, symbol by natural properties of lotus are same as following. 1. Lotus grows in the mud, but it is uncontaminated - clearness and uprightness, 2. Root, branches, loaves and flowers are vegetative together, and all of basis and branches are exuberant. - plenty, 3. Bear fruit simultaneously with blooming, and it is procreant. - fecundity and many descendants. Symbol that use same pronunciation and intention are same as following. 1. 'Lian(연)'-'Lian(연)' : repeatability, continuance, plenty and intercommunicate, 2. 'Lian(연)'-'Lian(염)': integrity, 3. 'He (하)'-'He(화)' : peace, harmony and combination, 4. 'He(하)'-'He(하)' : clear river, 5.'He(하)'-'He(하)' ; all work goes well. When the Chinese use lotus patterns in lucky omen patterns, same pronunciation and pitch of Chinese language more prominent than natural properties or the image of Buddhism. I guess that it cause praying individual's peace and happiness more serious than philosophical meaning or symbol that base in Buddhism for ordinary people.

이 논문에서는 OFDM 시스템의 시간 영역 동기를 위한 2가지 방법을 제안한다. 이것은 심벌타이밍 판정의 모호함의 원인이되는 플레토와 사이드로브를 제거하기 위하여 부 심벌간에 1심벌 옵셋을 두고 타이밍 메트릭을 구하는 방법과 플레토 현상을 경감시킬 수 있는 전력감소지수(Reduction Factor, ${\rho}$), 제동상수(Break Constant, ${\beta}_k$) 그리고 심벌이식깊이(Implant Depth, ${\delta}_I$)등의 파라메터를 사용하여 CP(Cyclic Prefix) 구간의 전력을 수정하는 방법이다. 제안된 2가지 방법은 기존에 제안된 심벌타이밍 동기화기법들과 컴퓨터모의시험을 통해서 성능평가가 이루어졌으며, 제안된 방법들은 다중경로의 레일레이 페이딩채널에서 기존의 시스템에 비해서 더 우수한 통계적 특성을 나타내었다.

OFDM 신호의 복조를 위해서는 시스템 초기화 과정에서 심벌의 시작 부분을 올바로 찾아내는 심볼 타이밍 복원 기능이 수행되어야 한다. 이 논문은 심볼 타이밍 옵셋이 신호에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 보호 구간을 이용한 새로운 심볼 타이밍 복원 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 계산량, 필요 메모리양을 현저하게 줄이면서, 주파수 옵셋과 위상 옵셋의 영향을 받지 않는 장점을 가진다. 그리고, OFDM을 표준 방식으로 채택한 유럽형 디지털 TV 방송 규격을 기반으로 한 시스템 모델에 제안한 알고리즘을 적용하여 AWGN과 다중 경로 페이딩 채널에서 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통하여 성능을 평가하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between clothing interests in the status symbol and the exhibition need and status inconsistency. The exhibition need was measured by Murray's statements on need and some items selected from The Need Diagnosis Scale of Jaung-Kyu Whang. Status inconsistency was measured by the same criteria of Lenski. Three aspects of clothing interests-the status symbol, the fashion and the exhibitionism-were assessed. The questionnaires were distributed to the housewives in Seoul. Data from 511 respondents were analyzed by correlations and $x^2$-tests. The results were: 1) The exhibition need was positively related to interests in the status symbol and exhibitionism of clothing. 2) Status inconsistency was positively related to clothing interests in the status symbol and fashion. 3) The degree of clothing interests in the status symbol and fashion were also positively related to the clothing expenditure and the socioeconomic status of the sample.

홀로그래픽 데이터 저장장치에서 데이터는 줄 단위가 아닌 페이지 단위처리하기 때문에, 짧은 접근 시간, 고용량, 빠른 전송 능력을 갖는다. 또한 멀티레벨 홀로그래픽 데이터 저장장치에서는 하나의 픽셀은 1bit이상 저장이 가능하다. 하지만 인접한 심볼간의 레벨의 차이가 클수록 인접 심볼간 간섭 문제가 발생한다. 그러므로 가장 큰 심볼과 가장 작은 심볼이 인접하는 것을 방지해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 인접 심볼간 간섭을 줄이기 위해 4-레벨 홀로그래픽 데이터 저장장치를 위한 12/16 변조부호를 제안한다.

이 논문에서는 동기 MPSK 신호에 대하여 새로운 간단한 심볼 오류 확률 하한식을 유도하고 분석한다. 보통 심볼 오류 확률 유도는 먼저 덧셉꼴 백색 정규잡음(AWGN) 환경에서 유도하고 이에 대한 결과를 바탕으로 여러 페이딩 환경에서의 심볼 오류 확률을 구하는 것이 일반적인 방법이다. 그러나 동기 MPSK의 경우는 여러 페 이딩 환경에서의 오류 확률 식이 구해져 있으나 가장 기본이 되는 덧셈팔 백색 정규 잡음 환경에서는 정확히 closed-form으로 유도하지 못하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 여기서는 먼저 나카가미 페이딩 환경에서 동기 MPSK 신호의 심볼 오류 확률식을 이용하여 나카가미 페이딩 지수가 무한대로 감에 따라 페이딩이 없는 덧셈꼴 백색 정규 잡음 채널로 돌아가는 성질을 이용하여 새로운 근사식을 유도하고 분석한다.

Today though the word ginyoe(gisaeng) was remained as a historic relic but they were firmly existed about 40 years ago and ginyoe's number was about three million in Chosun it's almost near 0.5% of the total population of Chosun. To think that point the ginyoe's so-ciety was considered a special one in the his-tory of Korean woman. The ginyoe as a special social class were specialize in technical art such as dancing and prostitute. Although they were low class they were luxurious slaves whoses clothing was almost equal to that of royal family. They were the leaders of fashion in woman clothing that's because their role was entertainer, This study can be summarized as follows. First ginyoe and public woman's clothing codes were nearly same in koryo but tatally separated in chosun. I could find that was came from those day's moral sprit. Second ginyoe's clothing was not only have luxuriance like royal family but also have unique clothing codes for them. Though they are low class ginyoe could use upper class's clothing codes. But upper class women could'nt use ginyoe's clothing codes are vary various and have their own clothing codes. Third I analyzed ginyoe's clothing codes and then derived 6 ginyoe's clothing messages. They were symbol of wealth symbol of power symbol of occupational function symbol of sexual attraction symbol of social position symbol of freedom.

The funning process in the symbolism of dress can be approached by the semiotics of C. S. Pierce. According to Pearce\ulcorners theory, symbiosis consists of sign, its object, and interpret ant. Especially Pierce classifies the sign into three categories; icon, index, and symbol. The icon is based on the similarity in properties and forms, and the index is based on the actual connection with their objects, while the symbol is based on the association of interpret ant. This classification method can be considered as a theoretical base for symbol of ritual dress. On the other hand, it was discussed the analyzing method of the concept of dress same (symbolic element) by introducing the isolate concept of structuralism for explaining how the symbol reveals itself. So it is discussed the several concepts of structuralism; the concept of relation syntagmatique and relation paradigmatique, the relation binaries, and the units. It would be also necessary to consider dimension of context in addition to dimension of dress itself for the dimension of total symbolic elements of ritual dress. It is proposed that the above developed dress symbol elements should be used for under\ulcornerstanding the society or culture that includes the elements by introducing the symbolic anthropology such as V. Turner's three dimensions of symbol.

본 논문은 CDMA 셀룰라 역방향 접속 시스템의 성능개선을 위하여 이중직교 신호에 대한 다중심볼 검파방식을 제안하고, 이에 대한 성능해석과 컴퓨터 모의실험을 수행한다. 이 방식은 기존의 심볼단위 비동기 검파대신 복잡도를 줄인 근사 MLSE에 의해 다중심볼로 구성된 복조 데이터와 채널을 동시에 예측한다. 이 방식은 또한 주어진 심볼의 워드수 M에 대해 관측하는 다중심볼 길이 N을 적절히 선택할 때 채널의 예측이 없이도 이상적인 동기검파 방식에 근접한 오류성능을 얻게 해준다. 특히 매우 의미 있는 사항은 이 방식을 CDMA 역방향 접속 시스템에 적용할 때 요구되는 평균 비트당 신호대 잡은 전력비 ${\gamma}_{b}$를 약 1.4dB정도 줄일 수 있어 38% 정도의 용량이 증가된다.

본 논문에서는 무선 인터페이스에서 최저의 간섭 레벨을 유지하고 요구된 QoS를 제공하기 위해 사용되는 SIR(signal-to-Interference Ratio) 기반의 폐루프 전력 제어 알고리즘 대신 Soft Symbol을 이용한 Soft Symbol 알고리즘과 함께 병렬 알고리즘을 적용한 폐루프 전력 제어에 대한 연구를 하였다. SIR 기반 알고리즘과 Soft Symbol 기반 알고리즘을 이용한 전력 제어에 대한 성능 평가를 하여 Soft Symbol 기반 알고리즘을 이용한 전력 제어 성능이 향상 되었고, 병렬 알고리즘을 이용한 폐루프 전력 제어에서는 SIR 기반의 전력 제어보다 $15\sim20\%$의 우수한 성능을 보였다.
