2차 전지의 방전에 의한 수소-공기 혼합가스의 점화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ignition of Hydrogen-Air Mixture Gas by Spark of Rechargeable Battery)

  • This papers describes on the experimental consideration for the intrinsically-safe explosion-proof capability of rechargeable battery's body about main item rechargeable battery and cellular phone battery which is selling in domestic that IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) recommend the measurement of ignition limit by short circuit of rechargeable battery and temperature increase test to use a explosion grade Group IIC type of explosion-proof type apparatus test an object of hydrogen gas. Because of that there are many different results for existence or nonexistence for ignition by different company and different types. It is concluded that the maximum of self temperature increasing by spark circuit of rechargeable battery is $180^{\circ}C$ in case of Nickel-Hydrogen and $110^{\circ}C$ in case of Nickel-Cadmium. The reaction of cellular battery for external temperature have following processes. It is confirmed that the temperature of reaction is rise slantly as the ambient temperature rising, then exterior shape of one is swell up and change when the temperature of ambient reach to about $130\~140^{\circ}C$, and when reach to about $160^{\circ}C$ the battery is blown up. Therefore, it is considered that have to be in considering selection of rechargeable battery using in itself due to different ignition limits of various rechargeable battery when the portable electric containing rechargeable battery are designed, produced and used, the characteristics and the proper safety factors of devices.

가열 조리시 쌀 전분 입자들의 형태학적 변화와 리올로지 특성과의 관계 (Correlation of morphological changes of rice starch granules with rheological properties during heating In excess water)

  • 12품종의 쌀로 부터 분리 정제한 전분의 2.5% (w/v) 현탁액을 각각 $65^{\circ}C$에서 $95^{\circ}C$까지 $5^{\circ}C$ 간격으로 30분간 가열 조리한 후, 전분 입자들의 형태학적 변화를 주사현미경으로 관찰 하였다. 품종에 관계없이 쌀 전분 입자들은 온도가 증가함에 따라 점진적인 형태학적 변화를 보여주었다. 이들 형태학적 변화는 전분의 팽윤도, 용해도 및 아밀로그라프점성 특성등과 밀접한 연관성을 보였다. 전분 입자로 부터 가용성 물질이 용출되는 것과 팽윤된 전분 입자가 그 자체의 독특한 형태를 잃고 서로 망상구조로 연결되면서 이들 리올로지 특성들의 급격한 증가를 가져왔다. 초기 팽윤 단계에서 전분 입자들의 독특한 구조손실 시기는 각각의 호화온도에 영향을 받았다. 호화 온도 이상의 높은 온도에서 전분 입자들이 삼차원적 망상구조를 형성하는 정도는 아밀로오스 함량이 감소할 수록 망상구조가 더 세밀해지며, 증가하는 경향을 보였다.

  • 예로부터 선장은 경험적으로 기상, 선박 제원 상태 및 운항 일정을 고려하여 최적의 항로를 선택하여 항해하여 왔다. 이는 선장의 경험을 바탕으로 해류나 파랑에 대한 기상 예보 정보를 활용하여 최적항로를 결정하는 것으로 아직까지 선상에서 항로 결정을 보조해주는 디지털화한 시스템은 그 사례를 찾아보기 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 선박의 운항 효율성과 안전성의 관점에서 구성된 선상 최적 항로 안전 평가 시스템을 소개한다. 선사와 선장이 요구하는 효율적인 항해를 위해서는 도착예정시간 및 연료소모량을 최소로 하는 최적 항로를 구한다. 이는 선박의 파랑 중 부가저항에 기초를 둔 선속 저하 빚 마력 증가를 고려하여 계산한다. 안전성 관점에서는 3D 판넬법에 기초를 둔 선박의 내항 계산을 본 시스템에서 구현하여 내항 평가를 수행하며, 최종적으로 선박의 항로 안전 계획 및 평가를 위한 보조 수단이다.

은행엽(銀杏葉)의 가토(家兎) 피부(皮膚) 접촉성염증(接觸性炎症) 유발(誘發) 독성물질(毒成物質)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Studies on toxic substances of Gingko leaves inducing contact dermatitis in rabbit)

  • Gingko biloba is one of the oldest trees on earth. It can be traced 300 million years or more into past. In recent years, this tree has become increasingly popular because of its longevity. Amount of comsumption of Gingko leaves in Korea is increased to produce drugs for blood circulating system's disorder. The workers who work at the company of product drug with Gingko leaves complain pruritus at belt position of west, however toxic substance from extracts of Gingko biloba was carried out to determine what kind of the toxic substance from extract could induce a contact dermatitis by means of histopathological study. Dried leaves of Korean G. biloba were exhaustively extracted with chloroform. The aqueous chloroform residue was extracted with hexane. After evaporation, the hexane extract was passed through a silica gel column chromatography, it was separated into 9 fractions by means of gradient solvent (benzene: acetone/ 98~93 : 2~7%). The 4th and 7th fraction were idendified as bilibol and gingkolic acid by silica gel thin layer chromatography and NMR spectrophotometer. The 4th and 7th fractions of Korean Gingko leaves have an irritant substances which can be induced ear swelling and increased thickness of stratum cornium of rabbit ear exposed with the fractions (3 time/3 day, $100{\mu}l$ of 50mg/ml ethyl alcohol). In the 4th fraction, the substance have induced the surface of ear to swell and mass of unknown cell like inflammatory cell were infiltrated within the stratum corneum, and the 7th fraction have the surface of ear to loss the hairs, and sebaceous gland and follicle of hair were infiltrated with inflammatory cells. and other fractions at all did not induced a certain contact dermatitis and also Deutschen drug of Gingko (named as Gerigeron) have induced the contact dermatitis such as dematitis of Korean Gingko extract.

옥수수의 침지조건이 전분의 성질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Steeping Conditions of Corn on Starch Properties)

  • 옥수수를 아황산의 농도(0.16-0.20%)와 침지시간 (25-50시간)을 달리하여 $52^{\circ}C$에서 침지하면서 침지액의 pH, 옥수수의 흡수성질 전분의 성질을 분석하였다. 침지액의 pH는 침지 5시간까지 급격히 증가하였고 20시간 이후에는 일정한 값을 유지하였다. 침지 중 옥수수의 수분 및 부피증가는 아황산 농도가 증가할수록 감소하였다. 전분의 단백질 함량은 아황산 농도가 증가할수록 증가하였으나, 조회분이나 인은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 전분의 물 결합 능력 및 아밀로그래프의 점도지표는 모두 아황산 농도에 관계없이 침지 35시간에서 가장 높은 값을 보였다. 전분의 팽윤력과 용해도 그리고 NaOH 용액에 의한 호화점도는 아황산 농도가 증가할수록 감소하였다.

Boussinesq 모델을 이용한 제주 차귀도 해역의 다방향 불규칙파 시뮬레이션 (A Simulation of Directional Irregular Waves at Chagui-Do Sea Area in Jeju Using the Boussinesq Wave Model)

  • Based on the Boussinesq wave model, the wave distribution in the Chagui-Do sea area in Jeju was simulated by applying the directional irregular waves at an incident boundary. The time and spatial variations of monthly mean wave height and period were investigated, which aims to provide basic information on optimal sites for wave power generation. The grid size and time interval of the Boussinesq wave model were validated by examining wave distributions around a surface piercing wall, fixed at sea bottom with a constant slope. Except for the summer season, the significant wave height is dominated by wind waves and appears to be relatively high at the north sea of Chagui-Do, which is open to the ocean, while it is remarkably reduced at the rear sea of Chagui-Do because of its blocking effect on incident waves. In the summer, the significant wave height is higher at the south sea, and it is dominated by the swell waves, which is contributed by the strong south-west wind. The magnitude of significant wave height is the largest in the winter and the lowest in the spring. Annual average of the significant wave height is distinctively high at the west sea close to the Chagui-Do coast, due to a steep variation of water depth and corresponding wave focusing effect. The seasonal and spatial distribution of the wave period around Chagui-Do sea reveals very similar characteristics to the significant wave height. It is suggested that the west sea close to the Chagui-Do coast is the mast promising site for wave power generation.

대한해협에서의 수온 및 염도변화를 고려한 선박의 저항성능 예측을 위한 기초 연구 (Fundamental Study for Predicting Ship Resistance Performance Due to Changes in Water Temperature and Salinity in Korea Straits)

  • Recently, shipping operators have been making efforts to reduce the fuel cost in various ways, such as trim optimization and bulb re-design. Furthermore, IMO restricts the hydro-dioxide emissions to the environment based on the EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index), EEOI (Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator), and SEEMP (Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan). In particular, ship speed is one of the most important factors for calculating the EEDI, which is based on methods suggested by ITTC (International Towing Tank Conference) or ISO (International Standardization Organization). Many shipbuilding companies in Korea have carried out speed trials around the Korea Straits. However, the conditions for these speed trials have not been exactly the same as those for model tests. Therefore, a ship’s speed is corrected by measured environmental data such as the seawater temperature, density, wind, waves, swell, drift, and rudder angle to match the conditions of the model tests. In this study, fundamental research was performed to evaluate the ship resistance performance due to changes in the water temperature and salinity, comparing the ISO method and numerical simulation. A numerical simulation of a KCS (KRISO Container ship) with a free-surface was performed using the commercial software Star-CCM+ under three conditions that were assumed based on the water temperature and salinity data in the Korea Straits. In the simulation results, the resistance increased under low water temperature & high salinity conditions, and it decreased under high water temperature & low salinity conditions. In addition, the ISO method showed the same result as the simulation.

요소-멜라민수지로 접착된 파티클보드에 농작물 짚 첨가의 효과 (Effect of Agricultural Straw Addition in Particleboard Bonded with Melamine-urea-formaldehyde Resin)

  • 벼와 보리 등의 농작물 짚은 파티클보드의 원료로서 부분적으로 대체 첨가 사용할 수 있었다. 파티클보드 접착용 요소-멜라민수지 접착제를 실험실에서 수지 접착제 고형분량에 대해 5% 멜라민을 첨가하여 합성하였다. 두개의 농작물 짚을 전건 목재파티클 무게에 대해 10, 20, 30, 40% 대체하여 혼합하고 합성한 요소-멜라민수지 접착제로 파티클보드를 제조하였다. 제조된 파티클보드는 물리적, 기계적 성능과 치수안정화에 대해 성능을 비교하였다. 성능평가 결과는 파티클보드에 볏짚과 보릿짚의 대체 첨가율이 증가됨에 따라 제조한 파티클보드의 성능은 감소하는 경향을 보여줬다. 전체적으로 농작물 짚은 파티클보드 제조의 원료로서 15% 대체하여 사용할 수 있었다.

과전압에 의한 변압기 철공진 분석 및 방지대책 (Analysis for the Ferroresonance on the Transformer by Overvoltage and Prevention Measures)

  • Ferroresonance is a non-linear vibrational phenomenon that is generated by the electrical interaction of the inductance component with the capacitor component of a certain capacitance as the device of the inductance component such as a transformer is saturated due to the degradation, the waveform distortion of current and voltage, and the oscillation of overcurrent and overvoltage in a system. Recently, ferroresonance was generated from the waveform distortion of current and voltage, or the overvoltage or undervoltage phenomenon caused by the nature of an electrical power system and design technology of the transformer in the three phase transformer system. Hence, in general, ferroresonance analyzed by converting to the LC equivalent circuit. However, in general, the aforementioned analytical method only applies to the resonance phenomenon that is generated by the interaction of the capacitance of bussbar and grounding, and switching as the capacitor component with PT and the transformer as the inductance component in a system. Subsequently, the condition where ferroresonance was generated since overvoltage was supplied as line voltage to the phase voltage and thus the iron core is saturated due to the interconnection between grounded and ungrounded systems could not be analyzed when single phase PT was connected in a ${\Delta}$/Y connection system. In this study, voltage swell in the configuration of grounded circuit of a step-up transformer with the ${\Delta}-{\Delta}$ connection linked to PT for control power and the ferroresonance generated by overvoltage when the line voltage of the ${\Delta}-{\Delta}$ connection was connected to the phase voltage of the grounded Y-Y connection were analyzed using PSCAD / EMTDC through the failure case of the transformer caused by ferroresonance in the system with the ${\Delta}-{\Delta}$/Y-Y connection, and subsequently, the preventive measure of ferroresonance was proposed.

폴리스티렌-폴리(메틸 메타크릴레이트) 이종 블록 공중합체 내의 단일중합체 분포 (Homopolymer Distribution in Polystyrene - Poly(methyl methacrylate) Diblock Copolymer)

  • 블록 공중합체/단일중합체 블렌드에서 단일중합체의 농도와 분자량 변화에 따른 단일중합체의 분포 경향을 알아 보았다. 중수소화 폴리(메틸 메타크릴레이트) 또는 폴리스티렌을 중수소화 폴리스티렌-폴리(메틸 메타크릴레이트) 이중 블록 공중합체에 20 wt%까지 혼입하였다. 시료들은 소각 X-선 산란, 중성자 반사율 및 투과 전자 현미경으로 조사하였다. 실리콘 웨이퍼에 스핀 코팅하여 얇은 필름 상으로 제조한 블록 공중합체는 기질 표면에 대해 평행하게 배향된 라멜라 모폴로지를 형성하였다. 블록 공중합체의 미세 도메인 구조는 단일중합체의 부가에 의해 상당히 교란되었다. 그 결과로 단일중합체의 농도가 15 wt% 이상인 경우에는 배열 질서도가 낮은 라멜라 모폴로지가 나타났다. 단일공중합체의 농도나 분자량이 증가하면 단일중합체가 미세 도메인을 불균일하게 팽윤시키면서 보다 많은 단일중합체가 미세 도메인의 중앙 부위로 이동하였다.
