The purpose of this study is to empirically measure the consumer response to mobile phone price changes in small and medium cities that have been alienated from Chinese marketing research. To do this, we measured price response through consumer survey based on conjoint analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, it show a typical pattern in which the part-worth decreases as the price increases. This suggests that there is room for improvement in profitability through pricing strategy for small and medium cities. Second, the decrease of the utility value according to the price increase was different for each city. This implies that difference of price response by city should be used strategically when planning price tactics. This study has contributed to understanding the expansion of research subjects from large cities to small cities and the price response phenomenon of small cities. And it will provide basic data on price response to mobile phone marketers of small and medium cities.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the service quality of delivery food on customers' emotional response and repurchase intention during the COVID19 pandemic. The proposed research model examined the effect on the service quality, customer sentiment response, and repurchase intention of delivery food. A questionnaire was distributed and measured for 300 consumers who had experience using food delivery services in the last 30 days. The questionnaires from previous researches were revised to fit the purpose of the present study. The survey results were analyzed to verify the reliability and validity of the measured variables. To verify the hypotheses a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was used for the study. The results showed that taste, price fairness, and package design positively affected emotional response; moreover, repurchase intention was enhanced by emotional response. This research analyzed the relationships between service qualities of delivery food, emotional response, and repurchase intention when customers consume delivery food during COVID19 in Korea. This study extends the delivery food literature by combining customers' emotional behavior with SEM model. The result suggested competitive strategic plans and development directions of food delivery companies in the rapidly increasing food delivery industry, providing implications for further research.

Purpose: It is the responsibility of public healthcare to respond quickly to infectious disease outbreaks and disasters such as MERS, COVID-19, the Syrian earthquake, and the Miryang Sejong Hospital fire accident. It is very important to secure safe medical facilities and protect lives through emergency medical support and disaster response systems. The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety status of regional medical facilities that play a central role in the event of a disaster. Methods: The target was 41 local public hospitals, including 35 regional medical centers and 6 Red Cross hospitals nationwide. We delivered a questionnaire to 41 medical facilities and collected data from 32 regional public hospitals that received responses. Results: In order to respond to safety accidents, a survey was conducted on infections, falls, patient identification, and incorrect connections for medical accidents, and for in-hospital accidents, a survey was conducted on entrapment, collision, water leaks, falling objects, and crime prevention. For natural disasters, we investigated the response environment for typhoons, floods, and snow damage, and for social disasters, we investigated the response environment for fire, power outages, and radiation damage. Implications: We hope that it will be used as basic data for developing standards and creating hospital facilities and environments that are safe for everyone to respond to various disasters and prevent patient safety accidents in the future.

The purpose of this study is to explore whether the perceptions of materialistic realities of South Korean university students can be explained by individual experience and media use. We examined: 1) relative consequences of awareness of discrimination experience and amounts of time spent on genre-specific media on perceptions of materialistic realities, 2) whether cultural orientation (allocentrism, self-monitoring, and masculinity) influences explanatory factors of awareness of discrimination experience, 3) conditions of countervailing responses to materialistic reality. As a result of analyzing the online survey data of 330 university students in Seoul, the amount of time spent on the beauty or fashion genre and awareness of discrimination experience explained the perceptions of materialist reality in Korean society. Although the perceptions that affected the accommodative response did not affect countervailing response, innovativeness had an interaction effect with perceptions of materialist reality in only countervailing response. Finally, the implications of these findings were discussed.

This study compares consumer satisfaction levels in clothing stores based on, consumer complaint behavior. This study investigates the relationship between future purchase intention and consumer satisfaction with the response of clothing stores to complaints. The study was implemented through a normative-descriptive survey using self-administered questionnaires. The samples consisted of 509 female consumers residing in Seoul and its suburbs. Data were analyzed by following statistical methods: frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, regression analysis, and Duncan's multiple range test. Results are as follows: The satisfaction with response to complaints were different according to types of clothing stores. A significant relationship between the degree of satisfaction with service recovery and future purchase intension was found in all types of clothing stores. The future purchase intention increases, when consumers are fully satisfied with the way that a service failure was recovered.

The purpose of this paper is to get a powerful tool for response analysis of a spherical dome subjected to dynamic excitation based on mathematically analytical method, i. e., the Galerkin procedure in modal analysis, with sufficient accuracy and practicality. At first, this paper provides an approximate solution of eigen modes, which has sufficient accuracy and praticallity for response analysis in symmetric and antisymmetric state. In the second stage of this paper, response analysis of a dome subjected to horizontal earthquakes is executed as the application of these approximate modes. Many important response characteristics may manifest themselves through parametric survey of material and geometric properties.

전력산업 구조의 변화와 전력수급의 안정성 확보를 위해, 다양한 전원개발에 대한 연구가 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 미국에서 시행하고 있는 수요응답자원(Demand Response Resource)에 대한 수요응답 프로그램(Demand Response Program)의 성과를 조사하고 이를 분석하였다. 미 연방에너지 규제위원회(FERC)의 시장표준안과 각 주의 공익규제위원회(PUC)에 규제에 의해 대부분의 미 전력시장에서는 이러한 수요응답 프로그램을 시행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 미국 전력시장을 대표하는 New England ISO, PJM, 그리고 NYISO 세 곳의 수요응답 프로그램 효과를 조사하였다. 본 논문에서는 수요응답 프로그램의 참여자 수와 수용응답 이벤트 발생 건 수, 총 차단부하량, 평균 차단부하량, 그리고 지급액의 관점에서 수요웅담 프로그램의 효과를 조사하였다.

Microarrays can measure the expression of thousands of genes to identify the changes in expression between different biological states. To survey the change of whole Salmonella genes after a relatively high dose of gamma radiation (1 kGy), transcriptome dynamics were examined in the cells by using DNA microarrays. At least 75 genes were induced and 89 genes were reduced two-fold or more after irradiation. Several genes located in pSLT plasmid, cyo operon, and Gifsy prophage were induced along with many genes encoding uncharacterized proteins.While, the expression of genes involved in the virulence of Salmonella as well as metabolic functions were decreased. Although the radiation response as a whole could not be illustrated by using DNA microarrays, the data suggest that the response to high dose of irradiation might be more complex than the SOS response.

This paper presents a review guideline for evaluating SERPs(standard emergency response procedure) in rail accidents. In order to develope it, design elements of the SERPs, that impact the performance of emergency responding personnel, were identified. Then several review guidelines and standards, being used in other industries including nuclear domain, were surveyed. Finally, the review guides and criteria corresponding to those elements were derived from the survey.

When a question in a sample survey is sensitive or highly personal, respondents may prefer not to give truthful answers. To eliminate the resulting evasive answer bias Warner suggested a randomized response model. In this paper, a modification of Warner's method is presented and compared with Warner's method. The relation between this modified method and an unrelated question method is also discussed.
