This study investigates the impact of the country's governance on the revenue efficiency in the banking sectors of 42 Islamic banks in 15 countries offering Islamic banking and financial services. Technical efficiencies of individual Islamic banks were analyzed using the Data Envelopment Analysis method. The Ordinary Least Square estimation method is employed to examine the impact of country supervision and regulation on the technical efficiency of Islamic banks. With robustness check, the study assesses the impact of bank regulations and supervision on the efficiency of Islamic banks operating in different regions. The empirical findings suggest that supervisory power, activity restrictions, and private monitoring positively influence the efficiency of Islamic banks. On the other hand, we observe a negative impact of capital requirement on Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries. The findings indicate that supervisory power, activity restrictions, and private monitoring positively influence the efficiency of Islamic banks in Asia, but vice versa on capital requirement in MENA countries. This study will contribute to the body of knowledge by assessing the types of reforms in bank regulations and supervision that work best for Islamic banks in order to increase the level of efficiency and the level of regulations and supervision of Islamic banks.

SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) 시스템은 국가 기반시설에서 주로 사용되는 제어 시스템이다. 과거 SCADA 시스템은 폐쇄 망에서 운영되어진다는 이유로 보안에 대한 고려 없이 설계되었다. 하지만 기술의 발달로 SCADA 시스템과 공용망과의 연계가 추진되면서 보안에 대한 문제점이 대두 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SCADA 시스템의 제약사항과 보안요구사항을 살펴보고, 안전한 SCADA 시스템을 위한 키 관리 구조를 제안한다. 기존에 제안되어있는 SCADA 시스템을 위한 키 관리 방식이 메시지 브로드캐스팅을 지원하지 못하는 반면, 제안하는 방식은 메시지 브로드캐스팅을 지원한다. 또한 제안하는 방식은 성능상의 제약을 가지고 있는 RTU의 계산량을 최소화하기 위해, 상위 노드(SUB-MTU 또는 MTU)에 계산량을 분배하여 RTU의 잠재적인 성능 병목을 해결하였다.

SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) 시스템은 국가의 중요한 기반 망인 전력, 가스, 상하수도 등을 제어하기 위해 사용된다. 이전의 폐쇄적인 통신 환경과 달리 최근 개방 통신 환경을 사용함에 따라 안전한 통신을 위한 키 관리 기술이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SCADA 시스템을 구성하는 MTU(Master Terminal Unit), Sub-MTU, RTU(Remote Terminal Unit)에 각각 페어링을 이용한 ID 기반의 키 관리 방안을 제시한다. 또한, 예상치 못한 사고나 악의적인 공격들로 인하여 장치들의 개인 키가 노출되거나 또는 KMS(Key Management System)의 마스터 키가 노출되었을 경우에도 SCADA의 키 관리 시스템을 복구할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

Financial soundness in the household sector matters for financial stability and for the real economy. The level of household debt in Korea raises concern about the financial soundness of the household sector due to its size, growth rate and quality. Against this backdrop, we assess the financial vulnerability of borrowers based on an analysis of credit bureau (CB) data, in which the actual credit activities of most individuals are recorded at a high frequency in Korea. We construct over-indebtedness indicators from the CB data and then assess the predictability of forthcoming defaults. Based on the over-indebtedness indicators, we show how borrowers are distributed in terms of over-indebtedness and how the over-indebted differ from average borrowers in terms of their characteristics. Furthermore, we show how the aggregate credit risk in the household sector would change under macroeconomic distress by analyzing how each borrower's credit quality would be affected by adverse shocks. The findings of this paper may contribute to assessing household debt vulnerability and to enhancing regulatory and supervisory practices for financial stability.

The exchange of information with legacy systems is a main issue in the era of SMARTGRID. Because WAMAC(Wide Area Monitoring and Control) system has monitoring function, as well as control function, it is very necessary for WAMAC to exchange data and information with SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) / EMS(Energy Management System). IEC 61970 CIM(Common Information Model) is an abstract model that represents all the major objects in an electric utility enterprise typically involved in utility operations. In this paper, a proposal that adopting CIM to WAMAC model be submitted so that the integration of various legacy system and application for itself be able to be flexible.

DNP3.0은 산업 분야에서 SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Aquisition) system의 개방형 프로토콜로 사용되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개발하거나 개발된 Module들 사이에서 송 수신되는 DNP3.0 PDU를 분석할 수 있는 기능을 제공하는 DPA(DNP3.0 Protocol Analyzer) Module을 설계 및 구현하였다. 해당 Master Station에서 Request 메시지를 생성하여 Outstation으로 전송하고 Outstation에서 수신된 Request 메시지를 분석하여 Response 메시지를 생성하여 Response 한다. 또한 Master Station 과 Outstation에서 DNP3.0 프로토콜을 사용하여 통신하는 중간에서 송 수신하는 메시지를 Monitoring한다.

As an acronym for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, SCADA is a concept that is used to refer to the management and procurement of data that can be used in developing process management criteria. The use of the term SCADA varies, depending on location. Conventionally, SCADA is connected only in a limited private network. In current times, there are also demands of connecting SCADA through the internet. The internet SCADA facility has brought a lot of advantages in terms of control, data generation and viewing. With these advantages, come the security issues regarding web SCADA. In this paper, we discuss web SCADA and its connectivity along with the issues regarding security and suggests a web SCADA security solution using asymmetric-key encryption.

This paper addresses a simulation for the Ethernet based data transmission between the CIC(Centralized Traffic Control System) and the SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. Fame error rate and throughput are calculated and compared for the two cases that the CTC/SCADA has an extra error control scheme besides the internal CRC32 of the Ethernet and that no extra error control has been done. Simulation program is constructed with the Matlab and the Matlab GUI and then converted into a stand-alone $c^{++}$ program to be used on any non-Matlab environments.

This study aims at examining the early-stage financing scale for entrepreneur to build small & medium business. The data was collected from the DART (Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System) of Korean Financial Supervisory Service(FSS) in the main. The results of this study show that small & medium business needs equipment & operation financing for about 37 months extent to reach Break-Even Point. The limitations of this study are data collections from registered firms on Korean FSS primarily and no showing about the early stage financing scale for building small & Medium Business concretely. Small & Medium business entrepreneur have to make a early stage finance plan according to a necessary equipment and operating cost in their business field for 37 months extent.

In this paper, the Power Management System(PMS) which based on a decision making system according to power strategy is proposed and implemented. PMS is designed to have functions of power monitoring. controlling, synchronizing load sharing and monitoring of driving engine, etc. PMS consists of the internet communication system(ICS). Remote Management System(RMS) and Sensor Driver System (SDS) ICS transmits the monitoring and supervisory data via Internet to Remote Management System(RMS) in real-time SDS detects various power system data on local generator and utility via I/O interface system. I/O interface system receives various status data and outputs control signals. Implemented PMS is tested with dummy signal to verify proposed functions and shows good results. For future study implemented PMS will be tested under real load condition to merchandize.
