The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of exogenous ghrelin on the behaviors, weight gain, and feed intakes of weanling piglets. A total of 25 pairs of Duroc$\times$Landrace$\times$Large White piglets weaned at 21 days of age were used in this experiment which finished on day 36. Each pair of healthy piglets from the same litter with similar body weight and of the same gender were selected and randomly arranged to ghrelin or control groups. Thus, there were 50 piglets (ghrelin 25; control 25) kept in 10 pens (ghrelin 5; control 5) and 5 piglets per pen. Initial body weight of the pigs did not differ between the control and ghrelin treatment ($7.43{\pm}0.17kg$; p = 0.81). Experimental pigs were infused with ghrelin ($1{\mu}g/d$ pig) via the marginal ear vein between 0750 and 0800 h at 22, 23, 24 days of age. Control pigs were infused with 0.9% saline. Feed consumption was measured on days 23, 24, 25, 29 and 36. Body weight was measured on days 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 36. Behavior data of individual piglets were collected by real-time observation from 0800-1500 h through remote supervisory equipment at 22, 23 and 24 days of age. The results indicated that ghrelin infusion could increase drinking (p<0.05) and lying behaviors (p<0.01) and decrease mounting behaviors (p<0.05). No significant influence of ghrelin was found on average daily weight gain (ADG) and average daily feed intake (ADFI) in this experiment (p>0.05). In conclusion, exogenous ghrelin by the method above and at the dosage of $1{\mu}g/d$ pig could cause a variety of behavioral effects, but not improve performance of weanling piglets.

Government organizations (including police, prosecutor, and Financial Supervisory Service) and programs to uncover or prevent from insurance crime are not well developed. However, insurance crime are increasing among not only private insurances such as life insurance, indemnity insurance, and auto insurance but also public insurances including national health insurance and industrial accident compensation insurance. The damages of crimes are serious in both economical and ethical perspectives. Insurance crime deteriorates a current account of insurance companies and the leakages due to insurance fraud worsen loss ratio. Consequently, insurance crime increases customers' costs of insurance. For this reason, insurance companies stated to establish Special Investigation Unit(SIU) to detect insurance crime and fraud by themselves. However, organizational and operational efficiencies are limited. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between work environment factors, perception of insurance crime and job satisfaction among Special Investigation Units. Therefore, this study investigated the perception of work environments of Special Investigation Units. In addition, this study examined how their work environments and general perception of insurance crime influence their job satisfaction. In order test the purpose of this study, reliability test, exploratory factor analysis(EFA), multiple regression were employed. The results of this study suggested that clarity of insurance company, distress/difficulty of resolve, compensation, perception of work pressure are statistically significant on jab satisfaction among Special Investigation Unit in South Korea. This exploratory study expected to contribute to understanding of Special Investigation Unit, and their insurance crime prevention system. The results from this analysis will be examined in light of previous findings and policy implications discussed.

In genral, the water process facilities include the purification plant, the waste water plant and the process of this purification plant is consisted of the intake, coagulation, settling, filtration, disinfection. The coagulation is very important in filtration processing plant and is very related to process of turbidity. The coagulation to the turbidity is, however, not yet to be clarified and the amount of coagulant can not be easily calculated. Moreover the coagulant dosing amount has to be decided adaptively according to the qualities of the raw water. So, the automation of chemicals dosing process and the supervisory system were needed to improve the performance of facilities. In this paper, a neural network is employed to model the coagulation to the turbidity of the treated water and the historical jar-test data are used to train the neural network. And also, an automation system to support the coagulant dosing process using the neural network was implemented and was shown by the field test. This automation system for the operator support system was constructed the environment to supervise the state an management of facilities for the maintenance.

BACKGROUND: Chemical accidents have increased owing to chemical usage, human error and technical failures during the last decades. Many countries have organized supervisory authorities in charge of enforcing related rules and regulations to prevent chemical accidents. A very important part in chemical accidents has been coping with comprehensive first aid tool. Therefore, the present research has provided information with the initial applications concern to the rapid analysis of hazardous material using instruments in vehicle of field mode after chemical accidents. METHODS AND RESULTS: Mobile measurement vehicle was manufactured to obtain information regarding field assessments of chemical accidents. This vehicle was equipped with four instruments including gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (GC/MS), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Ion Chromatography (IC), and UV/Vis spectrometer (UV) to analyses of accident preparedness substances, volatile compounds, and organic gases. Moreover, this work was the first examined the evaluation of applicability for analysis instruments using 20 chemicals in various accident preparedness substances (GC/MS; 6 chemicals, FT-IR; 2 chemicals, IC; 11 chemicals, and UV; 1 chemical) and their calibration curves were obtained with high linearity ( r 2 > 0.991). Our results were observed the advantage of the high chromatographic peak capacity, fast analysis, and good sensitivity as well as resolution. CONCLUSION: When chemical accidents are occurred, the posted measurement vehicle may be utilized as tool an effective for qualitative and quantitative information in the scene of an accident owing to the rapid analysis of hazardous material.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the determinants of intent to leave among IT industry employees, based on the Price's structural model of employee turnover. The sample used in this study were composed of 370 employees from 10 IT firms located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using structural equation modelling technique. This study found that four task reward variables(job variety, job autonomy, job challenge, and role ambiguity), two social reward variables (supervisory support and coworker support), three organizational reward variables(promotional chances, job security, and distributive justice) and one environmental variable(job opportunity), had significant effects on IT industry employees' intent to leave in terms of total effects and his directions of those significant effects were consistent with theoretical predictions; and that two mediating variables, job satisfaction and organizational commitment had the most important effects on IT industry employees' intent to leave in terms of total effects. The theoretical and practical implications of the research findings were discussed and the directions for future research were suggested.
Recently, increasing use of big data have caused regulation factors of personal information and combination of pseudonymized information to emerge as key policy measures. Therefore, this study empirically analyzed the mediating effect and moderating effect of pseudonymized information combination as the third variable in the relationship between regulation factors of personal information and big data utilization. The analysis showed the following results: First, among personal information regulation factors, definition regulation, consent regulation, supervisory authority regulation, and punishment intensity regulation showed a positive(+) relationship with the big data utilization, while among pseudonymized information combination factors, non-identification of combination, standardization of combined pseudonymized information, and responsibility of combination were also found to be in a positive relationship with the use of big data. Second, among the factors of pseudonymized information combination, non-identification of combination, standardization of combined pseudonymized information, and responsibility of combination showed a positive(+) mediating effect in relation to regulation factors of personal information and big data utilization. Third, in the relationship between personal information regulation factors and big data utilization, the moderating effect hypothesis that each combination institution type of pseudonymized information (free-type, intermediary-type, and designated-type) would play a different role as a moderator was rejected. Based on the results of the empirical research, policy alternatives of 'Good Regulation' were proposed, which would maintain balance between protection of personal information and big data utilization.
This article aims to optimize the nitrogen removal of a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) through the use of the activated sludge model and iterative dynamic programming (IDP). Using a minimum batch time and a maximum nitrogen removal for minimum energy consumption, a performance index is developed on the basis of minimum area criteria for SBR optimization. Choosing area as the performance index makes the optimization problem simpler and a proper weighting in the performance index makes it possible to solve minimum time and energy problem of SBR simultaneously. The optimized results show that the optimal set-point of dissolved oxygen affects both the total batch time and total energy cost. For two different influent loadings, IDP-based SBR optimizations suggest each supervisory control of batch scheduling and set-point trajectory of dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration, and can save 20% of the total energy cost, while meeting the treatment requirements of COD and nitrogen. Moreover, it shows that the re-optimization of IDP within a batch can solve the modelling error problem due to the influent loading changes, or the process faults.
After studying FSMA 24, We found that the insolvency rule of financial institutions in FSMA consists of eight provisions: 1) voluntary arrangement, 2) administration order, 3) receiverships, 4) voluntary winding up, 5) winding up by the court, 6) bankruptcy, 7) provisions against debt avoidance, and 8) supplemental provisions in insurance cases. Insolvency provisions in FSMA explain powers and accountabilities of FSA in relation to these insolvency proceedings. Although there are some differences in proceedings, provisions entitle FSA the same status as creditors to petition the court, with a right to participate in related meetings and to be notified of any matters involving insolvency proceedings. The differences and implications between U.K.'s FSMA and Korean regulations are related to the insolvency rule of financial institutions. First, in FSMA, FSA has a comprehensive power to manage insolvency proceedings of financial institutions in a centralized way. However, Korean regulations have special laws to regulate insolvency in a decentralized way. The offices executing those laws are the Financial Services Committee, the Financial Supervisory Service, and the Financial Deposit Insurance Corporation. This characteristic results from an accelerated legislation procedures related to financial reform in 1997 Korean financial crisis. Second, FSA contains special provisions on continuation of contracts of long-term insurance considering the characteristics of insurance industry related to insolvency of financial institution. However, Korean insolvency rules applied to financial institutions do not consider industrial differences and the characteristics of financial contracts, so need to be supplemented in the future.
One of the representative prudential regulations is the capital regulation. The current regulation and international criteria are just simply adding up the market risk and credit risk. According to the portfolio theory due to diversification effect the total risk is less than the summation of market and credit risk. This paper investigates to verify the existence of diversification effect in measuring the integrated risk of financial firm by the copula function, which is combine the different distribution maintain their propriety. The result of the test shows that in measuring the integrated risk not only the correlation and but also the proprieties of market and credit risk distribution are very important. And the tail of risk distribution is important when measuring the economic capital, especially the external impact to the financial market. This paper's contribution is that the empirical evidence in considering the relationship between market and credit risk the integrated risk is less than sum of them.
