절점이동과 단항증가법에 의한 이차원 평면문제의 적응 유한요소 해석 (Adaptive Finite Element Analysis of 2-D Plane Problems Using the rp-Method)

  • 최근, 유한요소해석견과의 신뢰도를 향상시키기 위하여 활발하게 연구되고 있는 적응유한요소해석은 반복계산을 통해서 해석결과의 오차가 사용자에 의해 지정된 허용오차와 같아지도록 하는 해석방법이다. 이와 간은 적응유한요소해석은 해석결과의 오차평가와 이에 따른 유한요소의 재구성과정으로 나누어진다. rp방법에서는 절점의 위치를 이동시켜 요소의 크기를 조절하는 r방법과 형상함수찻수를 증가시키는 p방법을 동시에 적용함으로써 적응해석의 유효성을 향상시키고자 하였다. 제안한 rp방법의 특성을 규명하고 적응해석의 유효성을 보이기 위하여 전형적인 이차원 평면문제들을 해석하고 그 결과를 검토하였다.

  • The In the 4th industrial revolution, cyber space will evolve into hyper-connectivity, super-convergence, and super-intelligence due to the development of advanced information and communication technologies, which will connect the nation's core infrastructure into a single network. As applying the 4th industrial revolution technology to the cyber attack technique, it is evolving in an intelligent and sophisticate method. In order to response intelligent cyber attacks, it is difficult to guarantee self-defense in cyberspace by policy-oriented, preplanned-centric and hierarchical cyber response strategies. Therefore, this research aims to propose a situation-flexible & action-oriented cyber response mechanism that can respond flexibly by selecting the most optimal smart security solution according to changes in the cyber attack steps. The proposed cyber response mechanism operates the smart security solutions according to the action-oriented detailed strategies. In addition, artificial intelligence-based decision-making systems are used to select the smart security technology with the best responsiveness.

소형 슬러시 제조기의 전열현상에 관한 연구 (Heat Transfer Characteristics of Small Slush Maker)

  • Tests were conducted to obtain heat transfer coefficients during slush formation from 10% sucrose solution. The slush was made by scraping the ice formed on the cylinder. Cold brine was supplied inside of the cylinder to cool the outer surface. Below a certain brine temperature, which was $5^{\circ}C$ in this study, the solution was supercooled, and suddenly turned into ice. The super-cooling increases as the brine temperature increased. During slush formation, the heat transfer coefficient oscillated significantly, due to periodic removal of ice chunk form the surface. The average heat transfer coefficient during slush formation was approximately twice of that obtained during single phase cooling. The heat transfer coefficient was also affected by the brine temperature with increasing heat transfer coefficient at lower brine temperature.

  • 텅스텐은 고융점금속으로 주로 초경합금으로 사용되고 있다. 알칼리용액에서 텅스텐은 $WO{_4}^{2-}$로 존재하는데 용액의 pH가 감소함에 따라 중합반응이 일어나며 텅스텐산으로 침전된다. 따라서 원광석 및 2차 자원으로부터 텅스텐 회수를 위한 습식 제련 기술은 산침출과 알칼리침출로 대별된다. 2차 자원에 함유된 금속의 종류와 함유량 및 텅스텐의 소재화를 고려해서 2차 자원으로부터 텅스텐을 고순도로 회수하기 위한 공정을 선택해야 한다.

고해상도 도시 침수 해석을 위한 딥러닝 기반 초해상화 기술 적용 (Applying deep learning based super-resolution technique for high-resolution urban flood analysis)

  • 기후변화와 도시화의 영향으로 인해 자연재해의 발생빈도와 규모가 증가하고 있다. 특히 도시 침수는 발생 시간이 짧고 막대한 인명 및 경제적 손실을 초래할 수 있기 때문에 신속하고 정확도 높은 예측 정보 생산이 중요하다. 하지만, 기존 물리과정 및 인공지능 기반 기법은 고해상도 침수 해석을 위해 많은 전산 자원이나 데이터가 요구되는 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 딥러닝 기반 초해상화(Super-Resolution) 기법을 통한 고해상도 도시 침수 해석 방법을 제안하고 적용성을 평가한다. 제안된 방법은 고해상도 물리 모형의 결과로 훈련된 초해상화 딥러닝 모형을 이용하여 저해상도 침수 해석 이미지를 고해상도로 변환한다. 미국 포틀랜드 도심지의 두 가지 침수 사례에 대해 적용, 4 m 공간해상도 물리 모의 결과를 1 m 급 고해상도 침수 해석 정보로 초해상화 하였으며, 초해상화 이미지와 고해상도 원본 간 높은 구조적 유사성이 확인되었다. 성능 지표로 평가한 결과, 전체 검증 대상 이미지에 대한 평균 PSNR 22.77 dB, SSIM 0.77로 우수하여, 초해상화 기법의 도시 침수 해석 적용성이 검증되었다. 제안된 방법은 적은 양의 침수 시나리오만으로도 효율적인 딥러닝 모형 훈련이 가능하고, 물리 모형의 정보를 최대한 활용할 수 있기 때문에, 고해상도 도시 침수 정보 생산에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Effect of Solution Treatment on Intergranular Corrosion Resistance of a New Type Ultra Low Carbon Stainless Steel

  • In the paper, with corrosion velocity measurement and metallographic observation on specimens after sulfuric acid/ferric sulfate boiling experiment, intergranular corrosion tendency of the new type ultra low carbon stainless steel developed by ourselves which experienced solution treatment at different temperatures was evaluated. A VHX 500 super depth field tridimensional microscope was used to observe corrosion patterns on the sample surfaces. The depth and width of grain boundary corrosion groove were measured by the tridimensional microscope, which indicated that the corrosion degrees of the samples which received solution treatment at different temperatures are quite different. Transgranular corrosion at different degree occurred along with forged glide lines. After comparison it was proved that the stainless steel treated at $1100^{\circ}C$ performs very well against intergranular corrosion.

Low-Rank Representation-Based Image Super-Resolution Reconstruction with Edge-Preserving

  • Low-rank representation methods already achieve many applications in the image reconstruction. However, for high-gradient image patches with rich texture details and strong edge information, it is difficult to find sufficient similar patches. Existing low-rank representation methods usually destroy image critical details and fail to preserve edge structure. In order to promote the performance, a new representation-based image super-resolution reconstruction method is proposed, which combines gradient domain guided image filter with the structure-constrained low-rank representation so as to enhance image details as well as reveal the intrinsic structure of an input image. Firstly, we extract the gradient domain guided filter of each atom in high resolution dictionary in order to acquire high-frequency prior information. Secondly, this prior information is taken as a structure constraint and introduced into the low-rank representation framework to develop a new model so as to maintain the edges of reconstructed image. Thirdly, the approximate optimal solution of the model is solved through alternating direction method of multipliers. After that, experiments are performed and results show that the proposed algorithm has higher performances than conventional state-of-the-art algorithms in both quantitative and qualitative aspects.

  • A very abnormal vibration was occurred at the LP(low pressure) turbine continuously during the pre-operation for a 550MW class USC(ultra super critical) steam turbine. This vibration was initiated at the rotating speed of about 3,450rpm and then the vibration amplitude was highly increased the number by $2{\sim}3$ times with the increase of the rotating speed to the rated speed(3,600rpm). In this paper, this abnormal vibration named spike vibration. This spike vibration was caused by the rubbing between the rotating bucket tip seal and the Lower Half of spill strip. Also, this paper presents the mechanism of the spike vibration and the proper method to eliminate this abnormal vibration problem. This result would be good practice to find the solution of similar high vibration in the USC steam turbines for power plant as well as industrial rotating machineries.

초내식성 스테인레스강의 금속이온용출특성 및 세포적합성 (Metal Ion Release Behaviour and Cytotoxicity of a Super Stainless Steel)

  • The toxic metal ion release behaviour and the cytotoxicity of a super stainless steel (S.S.S, 22cr-20Ni -6Mo-0.25N) were investigated The measurement of the amount of static and wear- induced trace metal ion released from the steels was conducted in Hank's balanced salt solution using an electrothermal atomic absdrption spectrometry equiped with Uaphite furnace. And the in vitro cytotoxicity of the materials was assesed in cell culture. The static dissolution rates of Fe and Cr ions from the S.S.S were significantly lower than those of 316L SS. However, the Ni ion release from the S.S.S during the first 4 weeks was yester than that from 316L 55 by 15-45%. Also, the wear-in- duces dissolution rates from the steels were not correlated either with their elemental composition rates or with the static metal ion release rates. The S.S.S did not deteriorate the osteoblasts viability. And no toxic response was observed from the macrophages cultured for 7 days in RFMI 1640 medium immersed with the S.S.S specimens.
