지속가능한 초고층 건물을 위한 80층 RC 플랫 플레이트 건물의 연쇄붕괴 저항성능 평가 (An Evaluation for Progressive Collapse Resisting Capacity of a 80F RC Flat Plate for Sustainable Super Tall Building)

  • This study is connected with evaluation of the progressive collapse resisting capacity for sustainable RC super tall building design. As the progressive collapse is not considered in current design codes in Korea, differences between linear static and dynamic analysis based on the GSA guidelines was analyzed for better evaluation, and the analysis model of flat plate system was determined. Finally, the progressive collapse resisting capacity was evaluated for structural system of super tall building. According to this study, the results by linear dynamic analysis were underestimated than the results by linear static analysis. Thus, the dynamic coefficient value of 2 provides conservative approach. The Effective Beam Width's model, currently used in field, is useful for the analysis about lateral force, but this model does not consider the effect of load redistribution by the slab. Hence, finite element analysis considering slab element will be needed for progressive collapse resisting capacity of the flat plate system. Finally, analysis model of 80-story building designed based on KBC(Korea Building Code) shows the weakness against progressive collapse because the DCR value is over 2. Thus, the countermeasure for alternative loading path such as installment of spandrel beam and reinforcements around slab is required to prevent the progressive collapse.

Enhancement of electrical characteristics and reliability of CuGeS2/GeS2-based super-linear-threshold-switching device by insertion of TiN liner

  • For preventing a sneak current in the 3D cross-point array, the selection device is essentially necessary and an n-MOSFET has been used for the selection device. However, the three-terminal electrodes of n-MOSFET make to achieve a high density of a cross-point array difficult. As a solution, using a selector having two terminal electrodes has been intensively researched. We presented that the CuGeS2/GeS2-based super-linear-threshold-switching (SLTS) selector device with the insertion of optimal TiN liner thickness exhibited outstanding electrical characteristics and reliability. The dependency of electrical characteristics and reliability on various TiN liner thicknesses were investigated. In addition, the principles of reliability and electrical characteristics improvement were understood through the energy dispersive spectroscopy elemental mapping and line profile of Cu. The adequate amount of Cu distributed in GeS2 resistive switching layer is a key factor to achieve excellent electrical characteristics and reliability for an ultra-high-density 3D cross-point array cell.

축소형 초고속 자기부상철도 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study on Development for Small-scale Super-speed Maglev Train)

  • This paper presents the overall measurement system for on-line test of super-speed maglev train. The super-speed maglev train is composed of vehicle, propulsion, power, and so on. In order to evaluate and diagnose for sub-system, we made overall measurement system. Just like the other measurement system, it is designed to distributed type. The hardware is consist of SCXI, PXI, Terminal, UPS, and so forth. It is installed on a train, control room, power room and track to collect lots of signals. The software controls hardware system, monitors main data such as inverter current, converter voltage. Using the measurement system, we evaluated a lot of performances for vehicle, track, and so forth. Through the developed system have improved reliability and safety for super-speed maglev train.

6-Tap FIR 필터를 이용한 부화소 단위 움직임 추정을 통한 초해상도 기법 (Super-Resolution Algorithm by Motion Estimation with Sub-Pixel Accuracy using 6-Tap FIR Filter)

  • 본 논문에서는 연속된 프레임을 갖는 영상의 프레임간 움직임 추정 기법을 응용하여 고해상도 영상을 생성하는 초해상도 기법을 제안한다. 단일 영상을 이용한 초해상도 기법의 경우 영상에서의 고주파 대역을 찾기 위해 확률 및 이산 웨이블릿 변환(discrete wavelet transform: DWT) 기반 등 다양한 방법이 제시되었으나, 연산에 사용할 수 있는 정보가 제한적이라는 문제가 존재한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 연속된 프레임을 이용한 초해상도 기법이 다양하게 제안되었다. 연속 프레임 기반 초해상도 기법의 핵심인 입력 저해상도 영상 간 정합(registration)의 정확도는 초해상도 기법의 결과에 큰 영향을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 영상 간 정합의 정확도를 높이기 위하여 6-tap FIR(finite impulse response) 필터를 부화소(sub-pixel) 단위의 정합에 사용한다. 실험을 통하여 제안하는 기법의 결과영상이 기존의 최단입점(nearest neighborhood), 이중선형(bi-linear), 고등차수(bi-cubic) 보간법 보다는 우수하고 DWT 기반의 초해상도 기법과는 비슷한 성능을 가진다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • A study on the Manufactiring of High-Precision Linear Scale by the Use of He-Ne Laser Interference Of late, along with the advancement of procision machining technology, the reauirement of super-precision measurement increases as time goes on, and the precision and accuracy of standard scale which is a basis of procision measurement has been cognized as a oriterion of industrial development in a nation. Up to now, mechanical and chemical methods have been widely employed to carve scale lines on linear scale, and it is impossible for the linear scale manufactured by means of those methods to guarantee the measurement with sub-micron level owing to errors attended with various problems. And the measuring length also bears errors subjected to the influence of surroundings condition, and shows inefficient circumstances in measurement on the ground of the complexity of measuring procedure as well as massive measuring apparatus. Hence in this paper, we described on technology by which we can carve scale lines thru optical method under the condition of laboratory by using rhcoherence of He-Ne two-mode stabilized laser and in turn, put it to practical use as linear scale for the measurment of lengrh. In this researchin the case of setting scale interval to 20 .mu. m, we employed super-precision scale-carving device associated by Ar larser and acoustic optical modulator in lieu of flsahing lamp scale-carving device, and we consequently obtained superior linear scales carved with precision and accuracy of .+-. 0.3 .mu. m.

비대칭 신호 모델을 이용한 super-RENS 신호에서의 비선형 등화기 (The Nonlinear Equalizer for Super-RENS Read-out Signals using an Asymmetric Waveform Model)

  • Super-RENS(super-resolution near-field structure) read-out 신호는 비선형 채널을 겪으면서 ISI(inter-symbol interference)의 영향으로 신호가 변형된다. 본 논문에서는 등화기의 측면에서 super-RENS 신호에 나타나는 비대칭성과 domain bloom 특성에 대해 살펴본다. Domain bloom은 광 레코드의 기록 과정에서 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 비대칭 심벌 변환 방식을 이용하여 비대칭 심벌들을 생성하며, 비선형 심벌과 선형 FIR(finite impulse response) 필터로 read-out 채널을 모델링한다. 이러한 비선형 채널의 등화는 채널의 선형 FIR 필터의 역필터를 찾은 다음 역필터로 등화된 신호를 심볼 변환 방식으로부터 전개된 결정 방식 테이블에 기초하여 판별하는 과정으로 진행된다. 제안하는 등화기를 raw BER(bit error ratio)의 관점에서 모의실험과 실제 super-RENS read-out 신호를 이용하여 분석하였다.

Application of Matched Asymptotic Expansion for Designing a Leading Edge of Super-cavitating Foil

  • The leading edge of a low-drag super-cavitating foil has been made to be thick enough by using a point drag which is supposed to be a linear model of the Kirchhoff lamina. In the present paper, the relation between the point drag and the Kirchhoff lamina is made clear by analyzing the cavity drag of both models and the leading edge radius of the point drag model and the lamina thickness of Kirchhoff\`s profile K. The matched asymptotic expansion is effectively made use of in designing a practical super-cavitating fool which is not only of low drag but also structurally sound. Also it has a distinct leading edge cavity separation point. The cavity foil shapes of trans-cavitating propeller blade sections designed by present method are shown.

Partial Spectrum Detection and Super-Gaussian Window Function for Ultrahigh-resolution Spectral-domain Optical Coherence Tomography with a Linear-k Spectrometer

  • In this study, we demonstrate ultrahigh-resolution spectral-domain optical coherence tomography with a 200-kHz line rate using a superluminescent diode with a -3-dB bandwidth of 100 nm at 849 nm. To increase the line rate, a subset of the total number of camera pixels is used. In addition, a partial-spectrum detection method is used to obtain OCT images within an imaging depth of 2.1 mm while maintaining ultrahigh axial resolution. The partially detected spectrum has a flat-topped intensity profile, and side lobes occur after fast Fourier transformation. Consequently, we propose and apply the super-Gaussian window function as a new window function, to reduce the side lobes and obtain a result that is close to that of the axial-resolution condition with no window function applied. Upon application of the super-Gaussian window function, the result is close to the ultrahigh axial resolution of 4.2 ㎛ in air, corresponding to 3.1 ㎛ in tissue (n = 1.35).
