지하철 정거장의 열차풍에 관한 조사연구 (A Research Study for Wind Environment of Subway Station)

  • When the train travels quickly, in the center of city subway tunnel the strong wind blows caused by its piston effect, and the train wind blows while train enter the subway station with this effect. The train wind brings unpleasantness which passenger's hair wavering and the skirts of passengers flapping severely, and critical situations to the old and the weak people. It considers seriously like this, the research is meant to find extent of subway train wind influence on the passengers from the part Seoul subway stations.

The Application of Network Theory to Subway Transportation in Seoul, Korea

  • Network approach is used to find the shortest paths and transportation time between the subway stations in Seoul, Korea. Because of transfer stations, we reconstruct the subway network to compute the shortest routes and corresponding transportation times. The reconstructed network is useful to obtain desired information because it can handle the transfer time between tracks. Time and route information about the subway system is obtained and it will be displayed in the subway guide board at each station. Then, all passengers can have the information of shortest route to a destination and corresponding transportation time.

  • The subway in Seoul, Korea has been constructed and operating 8 lines and 265 subway stations since 1974. And now it' been operated in the metropolis like Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Incheon. The subway system is being given a great deal of weight on the public transportation system. It means that the citizens of seoul are getting exposured to the underground environment more and more. As the quality of life is getting better, the desire for a pleasant(healthy) environment has been increased. so we have to study effective environment management plans for the subway, When considering Indoor air pollution as another serious environment problem.

그래프 분할을 이용한 서울 수도권 지하철역들의 분류 (Classification of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Stations using Graph Partitioning)

  • 수도권 지하철 시스템은 지하철 역을 결절점으로 하고 이들을 연결하는 선로를 간선으로 구성한 그래프로 표현할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 서울 수도권 지하철 시스템의 통행흐름을 바탕으로 그래프를 거의 비슷한 그룹들로 분할하여 지하철역들의 분류와 지하철 승객들의 통행 특성을 연구한다. 그래프의 각 간선을 통과하는 승객수를 교통카드 트랜잭션 데이터베이스에서 추출하여 그 간선의 가중치로 둔다. 그래프 분할 문제는 NP-완전 문제에 속하기 때문에, 본 논문에서 지하철 시스템의 그래프를 분할하기위하여 휴리스틱 알고리즘을 제안한다. 그 휴리스틱 알고리즘은 두 개의 선택 가능한 목적함수들 중에서 하나를 사용하는 데, 첫 번째 목적함수는 다른 그룹들에 속한 결절점들을 연결하는 간선들의 가중치의 합을 최소화하는 것이고 두 번째는 전체 지하철 승객들에 대해 승차역과 하차역이 같은 그룹에 속한 승객들의 비율을 최대화하는 것이다. 실험결과에서 각 그룹에 속한 지하철역들과 간선들을 색깔로 구분하여 지도상에 표시하고 그룹별 기종점 행렬로 지하철 승객들의 통행 특성을 분석한다.

  • In the modern society various types of transportation mode are utilized, among them the subway system is the one of the main transportation mode which more than 7.21 million people ride a day. Because of interests on the indoor air quality (IAQ) of underground public facilities, concerns on IAQ of subway system by many people are increasing. There are several approach to improve IAQ of subway station, such as installing platform screen door (PSD), frequent tunnel washing-out, and etc, however there has not been any attempt to improve IAQ of subway cabin inside. Most technologies for removing airborne particulate matters are known to be difficult to adopt on the subway cabin since the problem of maintenance cost. Therefore, the ultimate object of this study is a practical development of cabin air cleaning system which can reduce the concentration of airborne particles and harmful gases at the same time. The subway cabin air purifier (SCAP) was developed for removing particulate matters and gases pollutants inside a cabin. The whole system was designed and the roll-filter device was manufactured based on numerical prediction results. It is expected that SCAP could reduce indoor air pollutants in the subway cabin practically and it can be applied to other part of transportation vehicles.

지하차도 건설에 따른 기존 지하철터널 안정성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Stability of Existing Subway Tunnel due to Construction of New Underpass)

  • Recently, subways in the city are formed a vast underground network which is interfered with construction when large-scale infrastructure will be planned to nearby existing subway tunnels. Researches have been restricted to estimate stability of existing subway tunnel due to adjacent excavation causued by small construction such as buildings. In this paper, OO underpass is planned on the top of existing subway tunnel, which will be need large-scale excavation, is selected as a subject of study. And the purpose of this study is to analyze the effects on existing subway tunnel due to excavation by stages on construction of underpass. The 3D-numerical analysis was performed by using the MIDAS/GTS program. The stability on existing subway tunnel caused by sequential excavation is analysed using numerical results. Based on the analysis, the excavation orders and reinforcement methods was suggested for stability of exiting subway tunnel.

서울시 지하철 역사 출입구의 보행환경 개선방안 (Reorganization on the Subway Entrance System in Seoul for Better Pedestrian Environment)

  • Purpose: Subway in Seoul, Korea is an important urban mass transportation system as it carries more than 4 million people a day. To support this important mission, subway entrances were designed and installed to maximize accessibility to the stations. However, a uniform plan by the national government guided quantity and layout of the subway entrances. Therefore, the plan did not consider unique characteristics of each station area and reorganization of the subway entrance system is required to improve pedestrian environment. Method: This study grouped the subway entrances into specific patterns to propose reorganizing schemes. The authors conducted field surveys, examined case studies and proposed an entrance reorganizing plan for each type. Result: The study recommends subway entrances be installed inside adjacent building when large commercial or office complexes are nearby. The authors proposed installing a bridge connecting the stations and adjacent buildings for elevated entrances. This would be only possible when there are commercial or office facilities nearby with enough floor space. The study summarizes the pros and cons of each solution. To translate our proposals into realities, various incentives should be given to building or land owners. This study made suggestions as to which kinds of incentives exist and be effective in a range of situations.

OLAP을 활용한 지하철 인구이동 맵 생성에 관한 연구 (Implementation of the OLAP-based Subway Passenger Transit Pattern Analysis System)

  • 현재 지하철 운영기관은 만성적인 운영적자를 타개하기 위하여 다각적인 서비스 개선 노력을 하고 있으며, 이를 지원하기 위하여 지하철 통행과 관련된 심층적이고 효과적인 데이터 분석이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 지하철 인구이동 패턴 발견을 위한 분석환경으로 다차원분석시스템(OLAP)을 제안하였다. 지하철 교통카드의 로그 데이터가 이 시스템의 원시데이터로 사용되었고, 다차원 모델링을 통해 데이터마트를 설계.구현하였으며, 다차원분석도구를 이용하여 탐색된 지하철 인구이동 패턴과 맵을 예시하였다.

  • Subway station is installed with equipment of deficient ventilation and air purification in need of routine activity for users because projectors didn't have recognition of the importance of prevention equipment on disasters in subway stations. So if the accident in Deagu is occurred again, we can't prevent it. And it is urgently necessary to improve antique subway station for the safety and service to citizens because users were increased far more. Improvement of subway station has to be modernized the backward and antique subway station and maintained and developed by the center of traffic to give the social contribution with management of social facilities. And subway station has to be made conveniently so that everyone may use the station with one-stop system including sales, business, service equipment. This study will show the improvement plan of problem in underground space and situation of metropolitan-train history to improve metropolitan-train station .we will study a traffic line and equipment relocation of underground space considering safety by choosing the improved station and problems of the underground station in seoul. And then we will study the improvement plan of air purification and sound isolation to upgrade service in citizens.

서울 지하철을 이용하는 승객들의 비악성 호흡기질환과 졸음 증상 유병물 분석 (Analysis on Non-malignant Respiratory and Drowsiness Rate Symptom for Passengers Using Subway in Seoul)

  • A self-administrated non-malignant respiratory symptoms questionnaire was sent to 1,099 citizens who take subway running in Seoul city. Symptom prevalence rate was high: 70.6% of subjects reported 'chest tightness', 43.4%, 'dysphnea'; 76.2%, 'dry cough'; 49.5%, 'runny nose'; 94.4%, 'drowsiness' when they take subway. The groups responding significant higher respiratory and drowsiness symptoms were 'young passengers' (vs elderly passengers), 'the female' (vs male), 'using subway everyday' (vs often), 'using subway for rush-hour time' (vs other than rush-hour), 'using transfer subway' (no transfer), 'using underground track' (vs ground track). Logistic. regression model was employed to find personal and subway characteristics affecting non-malignant respiratory symptoms. This study concluded that respiratory diseases history such as asthma, rhinitis, sinusitis, hypersensitivity pneumonitis significantly affect 'dry cough' and 'runny nose'. Thus, passengers with respiratory diseases history shows 2.8 times greater 'dry cough' than and 3.4 times greater 'runny nose' than those passengers without respiratory diseases history felt. This results indicated that several measures have to take to protect sensitive groups such as passengers with respiratory diseases, children and elderly people. Also passenger who use to transfer shows 1.7 times higher runny nose symptoms than that passenger who do not transfer felt.
