In order to obtain a basic understanding of the storage of Satsuma mandarin sacs, the canned sacs were stored at room temperature from Feb. 20 to June 20(4 months), after dipping in chlorine solution and pasteurization as a pretreatment before canning. In general, the brix, acidity and pH of the sacs were almost not affected by the chlorine treatment ana a variety of pasteurization temperatures during storage. The broken rate was apperently increased by chlorine treatment, especially in the early stage of storage. However, the broken sacs were partially recovered in the end of storage. The contents of total carotenoid were almost not decreased by the conditions of the pretreatments during storage. The contents of vitamin C were sharply decreased between 3rd and 4th month of storage time on all sample. As a result, the decrement of vitamin C in canned sacs was caused by storage temperature rather than the condition of the pretreament.
Recently, there is an increasing demand for ultra-low-latency (ULL) services such as factory automation, autonomous driving, and telesurgery that must meet an end-to-end latency of less than 10 ms. Fifth-generation (5G) New Radio guarantees 0.5 ms one-way latency, so the feasibility of ULL services is higher than in previous mobile communications. However, this feasibility ensures performance at the radio access network level and requires an innovative 5G network architecture for end-to-end ULL across the entire 5G system. Hence, we survey in detailed two the 3rd Generation Partnership Party (3GPP) standardization activities to ensure low latency at network level. 3GPP standardizes mobile edge computing (MEC), a low-latency solution at the edge network, in Release 15/16 and is standardizing time-sensitive communication in Release 16/17 for interworking 5G systems and IEEE 802.1 time-sensitive networking (TSN), a next-generation industry technology for ensuring low/deterministic latency. We developed a 5G system based on 3GPP Release 15 to support MEC with a potential sub-10 ms end-to-end latency in the edge network. In the near future, to provide ULL services in the external network of a 5G system, we suggest a 5G-IEEE TSN interworking system based on 3GPP Release 16/17 that meets an end-to-end latency of 2 ms.
Purpose: This research was done do identify and analyze the beginnings of the community health practitioner system in the Republic of Korea (ROK) around 1980. Method: Primary sources were collected and analyzed, mainly newspapers around 1980, the act for health service for rural areas, and other relative publications. Results: The government of the ROK was trying to solve the problem of doctorless villages and regarded the introduction of primary health care (PHC) services using registered nurses (RNs) to be an economic solution to this problem. The Korean Nurses' Association presented 'a plan for community health service' to the government party and medical association in 1976. In this plan, RNs would provide primary care at the sub-county (myun) level, and hospital would provide secondary care. The Korean Public Health Development Research Center was awarded the project 'RNs and nurse aids as CHP for primary care service and their training'. In 1977, 25 RNs began to work as PHC in 3 areas, and interim findings showed that RNs were very capable of doing PHC. The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced long term plans for health and welfare administration including a tertiary health care delivery system. RNs after training were posted to rural areas with no medical services to do medical treatment for mild cases. The Act for health services for rural areas was enacted on December 31, 1980. Enforcement Ordinance and Enforcement Regulations were enacted in 1981. In 1981, 257 CHP were selected, trained, and deployed. In 1983, the president of the ROK announced continuation of the CHP system for residents of medically vulnerable areas. The number of CHP increased from 257 in 1981 to 2038 in 1989.

As the global warming threats to humanity, renewable energy is considered the key solution to overcome the climate change. In this circumstance, distributed PV systems are being expanded significantly its market share in the renewable energy industry. The performance of inverter is the most important component at PV system and numerous researches are focusing on it. In order to improve the inverter, PV simulator is an essential device to experiment under various load and conditions. This paper proposes the PV Power-Hardware-In-Loop simulator (PHILS) with real-time processing converted electrical and mathematical models to improve computation speed. Single-diode PV model is used in MATLAB/SIMULINK for the PV PHILS to boosting computation speed and dynamic model accuracy. In addition, control algorithms for sub-components such as DC amplifier, measurement device and several interface functions are implemented in the model. The proposed PV PHILS is validated by means of experiments with commercial PV module parameters.

In order to increase extraction efficiency of AlGaInP-based vertical RED LEDs, chemical wet etching technique was produced by using a roughened surface with triangle-like morphology. A commonly used $H_3PO_4$-based solution was applied for chemical wet etching. The light extraction of AlGaInP LED was related to the n-side roughed surface morphology. The morphology of roughed surface is analyzed by the atomic force microscope (AFM). As a result, the roughed surface AlGaInP LED has a root-mean-square (RMS) roughness of 44 nm. The brightness shows 41% increase after roughening n-side surface, as compared to the ordinary flat surface LED.
The current railway control system in Korea is comprised of signaling, electric rail power, communication, and maintenance systems that are independent of each other. Further, these systems have different mediums and protocols for transmitting the field equipment data to the central control system. The Safety Supervision System has as its purpose the collecting of safety-related data from each system to predict and prevent accidents, this system utilizes standard protocol. Safety-related data need to be collected from field data transmission devices of the existing control system, the data should be collected without affecting the communication of the existing system. In this study, sniffing skill, which is typically used for network traffic monitoring or security, is used to collect data. The problems arising from the use of sniffing devices are noted, and the Packet Conversion Node is proposed as a solution to the problems. Further, functional and performance testing were completed for the prototype, and the software architecture and packet conversion process were verified.

A DMT transceiver recovers the sampling time from reserved sub-carriers, the pilots. Since the pilots are available after the FFT, the symbol synchronization must be done before sample synchronization. In DMT VDSL system, symbol synchronization is handled separately from sample synchronization, although the two processes are intimately related. The DMT symbol itself contains sufficient information, the cyclic extension, for symbol synchronization. Using only the sign bit of received signal, the Maximum Likelihood Estimation solution is derived. The Tx windowing in the transmitter of DMT VDSL system results in the blurring of MLE peaks. We propose the weighted summing MLE method using the sign bit which produces the clearly sharp top of MLE peaks. The stability of symbol synchronization is improved significantly by averaging over a few symbols. This paper presents the study of the original MLE and the weighted summing MLE using sign bit. A clock difference between transmitter and receiver destroys the oahogonality of the carriers. Therefore, a receiver using asynchronous sampling must perform timing correction in the discrete-time domain. We introduce an efficient digital sample synchronization method which is based on temporal and frequency domain digital signal processing.

The surge in use of networks has recently increased demands for cryptography. Cryptography, however, can cause various problems because of difficulty of key management. A lot of researchers have been concentrating on the key recovery technique to eliminate the reverse effect of using these kinds of security and to promote positive aspects of using it. They have suggested many key recovery techniques up to the present. we propose a mechanism as a solution, which are employed to reduce the time needed to reconnect SG and the host in Host-to-Gateway in VPNs supporting IPsec, in case they are disconnected. This new mechanism using KRFSH stores information at each session in advance so that users can recall the session information when needed to rebuild the tunnel between SG and the host in a VPN. As a result, the mechanism built into SG will solve the problems above in host-to-gateway VPNs using IPsec.

Any server offering a routing service in the Internet would naturally be in competition for clients, and clients may need to utilize service from a specific server in order to achieve a desired result. We study the various properties of this competition, such as the fraction of route requests handled by a routing service provider and the fraction of total revenue obtained. As the routing service providers (i.e., servers or routers in this context) compete, they may alter behavior in order to optimize one of the above properties. For example, a service provider may lower the price charged for its service, in order to increase the number of clients served. Our models are based on servers offering a routing service to clients within representative network topologies based on actual Internet sub-graphs. These models provide, a framework for evaluating competition in the Internet. We monitor key aspects of the service, as several variables are introduced into the models. The first variable is the fraction of client requests that will pay more for a better quality route. The remaining requests are normal client requests that are satisfied by the most economical route. The second variable is the fraction of servers who choose to lower service prices in order to maximize the number of client requests served. As this fraction increases, it is more likely that a server will lower the price. Finally, there are some resource constraints applied to the model, to increase the difficulty in providing a routing solution, i.e., to simulate a realistic scenario. We seek to understand the effect on the overall network, as service providers compete. In simple cases, we show that this competition could have a negative impact on the overall efficiency of a service. We show that the routing variety present in the larger models is unable to mask this tendency and the routing service performance is decreased due to competition.
