In this study, prepared synthesis waterborne acrylic resin and water soluble milk casein resin. And than extent of casein contents in acrylic resin. We measured property of these samples by Lamb leather which is coated by acrylic-casein resins. According to measure data for solvent resistance, WAR resin and Hybrid resins had good property. Among this result knew that increase of casein constant did not influence to big change of hybrid resin property. As test of tensile strength, WAR had lowest strength($1.399kg_f/mm^2$) and WAC-3 had highest strength($1.426kg_f/mm^2$). Also we knew that best property of abrasion was WAC-3(69.774 mg.loss). In elongation case, WAR had best property(820%) in this experiment.
The effects of scrap content on the hot tearing property and tensile property were investigated in AC2BS alloy. The hot tearing strengths were $16.4kgf/cm^2$, $15.2kgf/cm^2$, $14.9kgf/cm^2$ and $13.3kgf/cm^2$, respectively, under the constant solid fraction of 29.3% when the scrap contents of the specimens were 0%, 20%, 35% and 50%. In the same way, tensile strengths of the as-cast condition were $24.5kgf/mm^2$, $23.7kgf/mm^2$, $17.3kgf/mm^2$ and $16.0kgf/mm^2$, respectively, and the corresponding tensile strengths of the T6 heat treatment condition were $27.2kgf/mm^2$, $26.7kgf/mm^2$, $24.2kgf/mm^2$ and $23.9kgf/mm^2$. Hot tearing strength and tensile strength decreased as scrap content of the specimen increased. According to the evaluation of the quantitative hot tearing and tensile test results, the decrease of these strengths is due to the presence of oxide films which act as crack initiation site of the specimens. Therefore, elimination of oxide films of aluminum melt to maintain melt cleanliness is required.
The bonding phenomena and mechanical property of duplex stainless steel during brazing have been investigated. The UNS32550 was used for base metal, and the MBF50 was used for insert metal. Brazing was carried out under the various conditions (brazing temperature : 1473K, 1498K, holding time : 0∼1.8ks). There were various microconstituents in the bonded interlayer because of reaction between liquid insert metal and base metal. In the early stage of brazing, BN is formed in the bonded interlayer and base metal near the bonded layer. Cr made is formed in the bonded interlayer. The amount of BN and Cr nitrides decrease with the increase of bonding temperature and holding time. Superior shear strength of 550MPa is obtained by restraining the formation of nitrides. The advancement of the mechanical properties of metal materials caused by a recent high technology contributes to the stability and productivity of mechanical structures. However, the advanced mechanical properties depends on the conditions of crystal boundaries and the improvement of the texture. Although the tensile strength and a hardness of a steel would be increased by the adding B, it seems to be a marked decreases of the toughness which caused in the weaken workability. This study is concerned with a characteristics of the B compound which will be mixed with $H_3BO_3$ and the metallic magnesium. What affected in the mechanical property and texture is checked by the strength and the texture test. As a result, it is shown that the improvement of the mechanical property and the texture homogeneity. In addition, it seems that a molten metal which is added by the B compound is deoxized and cleansed.

In this study, the spectra was surface-treated using $Ar^+$ ion beam to improve the tensile property of spectra/vinylester composites. The effect of surface treatment on the tensile property of spectra/vinylester composites was investigated comparing tensile strength and stiffness of surface-treated spectra/vinylester composites with those of untreated spectra/vinylester composites. The results showed that the tensile strength and stiffness of surface-treated s spectra/vinylester composites were 12% and 22% higher than those of untreated spectra/vinylester composites.

This paper presents the property of the Squeeze Film Damper (SFD) using Magneto-Rheological fluid (MR fluid). The damping property of a SFD for a flexible rotor system varied according to vibration mode. MR fluid is known as a functional fluid with controllable apparent viscosity of the fluid by applied magnetic field strength. When the MR fluid is applied in the SFD, the SFD using MR fluid can effectively reduce vibrations of the flexible rotor in a wide range of rotating speed by control of the applied magnetic field strength. To investigate in detail the SFD using MR fluid, the SFD to support one mass was constructed and its performance was experimentally investigated in the present study. The damping property of the SFD using MR fluid has viscous damping by Newtonian fluid, but not Coulomb friction by Bingham fluid. Therefore, The system damped by the SFD can be considered as a linear system.
In order to effectively use the waste wood, two types of woodceramics chip tile were made from woodceramics chip, gravel, zeolite and additions. The woodceramics chip was made from branch of apple tree (Malus pumila Mill.) Snow melting property, bending strength and compressive strength of woodceramics chip tile were tested according to the mixing rate of woodceramics chip. Snow melting properties of woodceramics chip tile increased after additions treatment but mechanical properties were reduced significantly after additions treatment. The results indicate that the additions are effective for snow melting property but negative effect on mechanical properties.
Chloro isobutylene isoprene rubber (CIIR) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) compounded with other formulation chemicals, depending on the polymer blend, were prepared by mechanical mixing. After manufacturing the rubber vulcanizate by compression molding with a hot press, the mechanical and thermal properties including thermal conductivity, rebound resilience of the CIIR/EPDM blends were measured. As the EPDM rubber content increased, hardness and tension set showed a tendency to increase. Pure CIIR exhibited the lowest tensile strength; however, tensile strength increased with loading of EPDM rubber. On the other hand, in CIIR rubber, which is usually a low-rebound elastomer owing to a high damping effect, rebound resilience exhibited an increasing trend as the content of EPDM rubber increased. As the EPDM rubber content increased, thermal stability was improved due to reduction of decomposition rate in the rubber region of the blend vulcanizate.

Chromatograms of asphalt cements were observed using high pressure - gel permeation chromatography (HP-GPC). The chromatogram characterzed profile of molecular size distribution of asphalt cements. Bituminous concretes using the asphalt cements were prepared in laboratory to measure mechanical properties, tensile strength (TS) and resilient modulus (MR), in dry and wet conditions. Three sources of AC-20 Asphalt cements and one aggregates were used for GPC test and strength test. Results of mechanical property tests and GPC tests were analyzed to evaluate correlation between those two results. Regression analysis showed strong correlation between a mechanical property and sliced percent areas of GPC profile. Mathematical models were developed for estimating mechanical properties of asphalt cement concrete based on HP-GPC data.

Nowadays, research about using recycled aggregate as alkali activator has been investigated. By the mechanism of Alkali activation, blast furnace slag's potential hydraulis property would be activated. Thee application of this technique is considered as fit for low strength concrete, so it's suitable in concrete secondary production such as bricks and blocks. Aside alkali activator, sulfate could also activate blast furnace slag's potential hydranlis property. In this research, gypsum(CaSO4·2H2O)has been added with blast furnace slag. Fundamental experiment such as flow and strength has been tested to evalnate effect of gypsum's activation property.
