선택 점포 유형에 따른 소비자 의복 쇼핑 성향 구조 차이에 관한 연구 (The Difference of Clothing Shopping Orientation Structure by the Type of Store Preferred)

  • The propose of this study is to explore if the clothing shopping orientation[CSO] of consumers differs between the two types of preferred store when they purchase casual wears. A total of 413 answers from male and female consumers in their twenties were used for the analysis. The types of preferred store were grouped by the brand fame. Department stores, brand agencies/sales branches, and outlets constituted wellknown brand store group, and shopping malls, no brand street stores, and discount stores constituted unknown brand store group. The results are as follows. First, there were no significant differences in CSO dimensions except 'well known brand oriented' dimension between groups. Second, each group showed proper fitness for CSO structure model. Third, the relationships among dimensions within structure model were significantly different between groups. These mean that though it looks there are no differences between groups at the level of each dimension, but there are differences in the view of specific relationships among dimensions. Therefore, store managers must consider the complex CSO structure for marketing strategy development.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare clothing attitude and clothing purchase behavior of two age groups of adult men,- college students and middle aged. Four aspects of clothing attitude (fashion interest, status symbol, conformity, practicality/comfort) were assessed with 20 Likert type questionnaires adapted from the previous researches. Four aspects of purchase behavior(information sources used, store patronage, importance of store attributes, clothing selection creteria for occasions) were measured with forced choice questionnaire developed or adapted from previous researches. The questionnaire were administrated to 512 male college students and middle aged men. The data were analysed using frequency, percentage, and t-test. The major findings drawn from this study were as follows : 1. Clothing comfort among four aspects of clothing attitude according to the age group was that middle-aged men showed higher conformity than college students. 2. For the information source for apparel purchase, college students used consumer dominated information source while middle-aged men used market dominated information source. 3. For apparel purchase, students preferred brand franchise store, and factory outlet/off-price store, while middle-aged preferred department store and custom-made. Among six store attributes, convenience and price were the most important attributes to the students, while convenience and high quality to the middle aged. 4. The most important clothing selection creteria for formal occasion (job interview, wedding ceremony) was dignity. Comfort/practicality were important creteria for both of leisure occasion and daily attendance (office, school).

  • The purpose of this thesis is to provide basic information of efficient flow line arrangement, which results from examining the factors of route choice with a focus on the store' space elements and pedestrian activity patterns in the outlets. The route tracking is applied to grasp pedestrian activity patterns, therefore, a concrete analysis into influential factors of the space structure arrangement and forms on route choice. The route tracking is a means to understand pedestrian activity patterns by establishing an unrecognizable space and examining every route in the investigating area for pedestrian activity pattern research. Three sample stores have different systems in the ground plan structures, the escalator location and the directions. The analysis focuses on the booth arrangement and shopping patterns. In conclusion, route choice of the customers and the structure of the space are quite closely related and affect the quality of shopping. This can suggest evidence for the need of the space structure to meet the pedestrian activity patterns.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the pratical applicability of person-situation benefit segmentations of the female apparel market in Seoul by a prior segmentation method. The specific objectives of this study were 1) to identify the useful demographic variables for person-situation benefit segmentations of the female apparel market, 2) to assess that person- situation benefit segmentations of 1.he female apparel market are accessit)le by developing a profile of each segment based on the interactions of situation and personal characteristics on perceived risk, importance of store attributes and store-type choice, and on brand type prefered by each segment. 3) to assess the validity of person-situation benefit segmentations of the female apparel market in terms of easy accessibility. The data were collected via a questionnaire from 601 housewives of ages 20's to 50's living in Seoul, Korea. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, repeated measure two- way ANOVA and X2-test. The results of this study were as follows. First, the age-by-situation segmention basis and the education-by-situation segmention basis were useful for person-situation benefit segmentations of the female apparel market. Second, there were found three benefit segments (Youth/Fashion oriented users, Brand oriented users and Apathetic users of clothing) using age-by-situation segmention basis. Using education-by-situation segmention basis, five segments (Economic-value, Youth/Fashion, Brand/Self-expression Self-expression, and Apathetic users of clothing) were identified. And beifit segments classified by the age-by-situation segmention and education-by-situation segmention approach were accessible. Third, the pratical applicability of person-situation befeift segmentations of the female apparel market by a prior segmentation method were suggested.

소매업태에 대한 소비자 선택요인에 관한 연구 - 대전지역 재래시장, 중형마트(SSM), 대형마트를 중심으로 - (A Study on Consumer's Choice Factors for Retailer Shops - Focused on Traditional Market, Super Supermarket and Discount Store in Daejeon, Korea -)

  • 본 연구는 각 소매업태(재래시장, 중형마트 및 대형마트)의 정책방향 설정 및 활성화 계획수립을 위하여, 대전지역에 한정하여 실증·분석한 연구결과를 제시하였다. 본 실증연구를 통하여 소매업태별 만족도의 차이를 분석한 결과, 대체적으로 소비자들이 느끼는 소매업태별 만족도는 대형마트가 중형마트보다 높았고 중형마트가 재래시장에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특이할만한 사항은 '주차환경'에 대한 만족도가 각 유통업태별로 큰 차이를 보이고 있다는 점이다. 즉, '주차환경'요인의 중요도가 다른 요인의 중요도보다 높게 나타나고 있는 점으로 볼 때 재래시장은 이 요인의 만족도를 높여야 할 것으로 유추할 수 있다. 중요도-성과 분석(IPA)을 통해 유통업태별 전략적 시사점을 도출할 수 있었다. IPA분석은 중요도와 만족도를 이용하여 4개의 영역으로 구분할 수 있는데. '중점개선영역'에서는 재래시장 6개, 중형마트 4개, 대형마트 3개로 나타나 재래시장이 중점적으로 개선해야 할 사항이 비교적 많다는 것을 시사하고 있다. 또한 '우위유지영역'을 보면 재래시장 5개, 중형마트 7개, 대형마트 8개의 변수들이 포함되어 있어 현대적 소매업태일수록 우위요소가 많다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히 재래시장의 관점에서 보면 무엇보다 재래시장의 주차환경에 대한 개선이 시급한 것으로 보이고, 장기적으로 소비자의 편의시설을 갖추거나 확장해야 할 필요성이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

아웃렛의 점포선택속성이 소비감정, 관계품질, 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Store Characteristics of Outlet on Consumption Emotion, Relationship Quality, and Loyalty)

  • This study is to examine the structural relationships among store choice attributes, consumption emotion, relationship quality, and loyalty of Outlet. The data were collected from customers who have purchased clothing at the fashion outlet stores, For data analysis and structural equation model were analyzed by using LISREL. The subjects were male/female consumer experienced in purchasing clothes at fashion outlet stores. The results of this study are as follows: First, product, advertising, and instore atmostphere had significantly positive effect on consumption emotion. Second, consumption emotion had significantly positive effect on relationship quality(consumer's satisfaction and trust) and loyalty. Third, relationship quality(consumer's satisfaction and trust) had significantly positive effect on loyalty.

고려점포군에 따른 소비자 세분화와 점포이미지 중요도에 관한 연구 (Consumer Segmentation based on Consideration Set of Stores and Importance of Store Image)

  • 점포의 평가는 소비자의 마음속에 자리 잡고 있는 유사한 경쟁점포들 내에서 이루어지게 되며, 이렇게 "소비자가 특정 점포선택을 할 때 실제 고려하게 되는 점포들의 집합"을 고려점포군(考廬店鋪群; consideration set of stores)이라 한다. 본 연구에서는 소비자가 의류제품을 구매할 때 점포선택과정 중에 형성하는 고려점포군을 알아보고, 고려점포군과 점포이미지 중요도와의 관련성을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과에서 의류점포선택과정을 통해 형성된 고려점포군은 결과적으로 고려점포수와 고려하는 점포유형에 따라 다시 구체화될 수 있으며, 이를 기준으로 소비자 유형화를 실시한 결과 '소수-가두점 고려집단', '소수-시장 고려집단', '소수-백화점 고려집단', '소수-백화점/아울렛 고려집단', '다수-백화점/시장 고려집단', '다수-백화점/가두점 고려집단', '다수-백화점 고려집단'으로 구분되었으며, 유형화된 소비자 집단별 점포이미지 중요도에 있어서 유의한 차이가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 예를 들면, 시장을 고려점포유형으로 포함하는 소수-시장 고려집단과 다수-백화점/시장 고려집단은 저렴한 가격을 중요한 점포이미지로 여겼으며, 소수-백화점 고려집단은 점포 마일리지 카드나 할인카드, 다수-백화점/가두점 고려집단은 주변 여가공간 요인을 중요한 점포이미지로 꼽아 집단별 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과들은 점포 운영자들이 자사 목표고객과 경쟁점포를 파악하고 이에 대응한 마케팅 전략을 수립하는데 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • 최근 국내에서는 민간 분야뿐만 아니라 공공물류에의 활용을 위해 좀 더 신뢰성 있고 개선된 화물수요추정방법에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 현재 화물수요분석의 기초자료로 활용되고 있는 지역 간 화물기종점통행량(OD)자료는 각 화물의 생산지와 소비지 사이의 이동과 전환관계가 복잡함에도 불구하고 출발지와 목적지 사이의 환적시설이나 물류시설을 노드로 구분하지 않고 각 존의 물동량에 포함시킴으로써 화물의 정확한 이동이나 전환관계를 파악하지 못하게 하는 한계점을 지니고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 인식하에 개별 의사결정자인 기업에 의해 이동되는 화물의 물적인 흐름을 분석하기 위한 물적 유통경로 선택모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이는 개별회사의 의사결정에 있어 매우 거시적인 개념이며, 개별 의사결정자인 기업이 유통경로를 선택할 때 어떠한 요소를 고려하는지를 살펴 보고자하였다. 본 연구에서는 2007 화물유통경로조사의 내수화물자료를 중심으로 기초통계 분석을 수행하고 물적 유통경로 선택모형을 구축하였다. 또한 구축된 모형이 합리적인지 평가하기 위해 최종 모형에 대해 유통경로선택이론을 기초로 가설검증을 수행하고 적중률을 산출하였다. 선정된 최종모형의 가설 검증결과, 제조업체는 유통경로 선택시 도착지점의 시장특성, 업종 및 품목특성, 경로특성, 기업의 크기 및 경제력 등을 중요하게 고려하는 것으로 나타났다.

Study on the Selection Determinants on Consumers Purchasing Agricultural Products via Direct Market

  • Purpose - This study was carried out to analyze the influential factors of how consumers methodize purchasing agricultural products via direct market. It further utilizes the Discrete Choice Model to analyze consumer decision specifically with regards to individual markets and store attributes. Research design and methodology - This study will use the multinomial logit model to interpret the influential factors behind selecting a specific market to purchase from. This study establishes 'online direct-purchase' as the base category with 'direct farm markets', 'local foods direct markets', 'produce boxes (CSA)' as substitutes. Results - Firstly, the variety of products, price and freshness had a positive influence on choosing 'direct farm markets' while convenience of payment and transportation had a negative influence. Second, freshness and store attributes had a positive influence on choosing 'local foods direct markets' but product price and packaging, location accessibility had a negative influence. And although product creditability had a positive influence on purchasing 'produce boxes (CSA)', product price had a negative influence. Conclusions - Accordingly, there is a need for the South Korean government to encourage the adoption of mobile payment through smartphone applications in direct farm markets to vitalize direct agricultural purchasing. However, this does need to be approached cautiously as price has a conflicting affect for each method of purchase.

How Does the Food Quality Matter in Beef Specialized Store?

  • The purpose of this study aims to confirm the importance of customer selection attributes of beef restaurants. This study found a selection attributes for a beef specialty restaurant, and proved the hypothesis through empirical analysis. Along with the increase in income levels over the past decade, the restaurant industry has grown. In contemporary society, where quality of life is becoming more important, the restaurant industry has expanded the importance of service quality. In particular, for meat consumption, per capita beef consumption is expected to increase every year; the effect of the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement is also expected to further increase the consumption of high-quality and high-priced U.S. beef. However, like the study of general restaurant-selection factors in restaurant management research, studies of beef restaurants and commercial studies considering consumers' selection attributes are scarce. This study verified the characteristics of consumer choice for restaurants specializing in beef, and how quality, price, restaurant atmosphere, and employee service impacted customer satisfaction. We suggest that beef restaurants should focus more on atmosphere and service in addition to food price and quality, which are the choice factors for restaurants in general. This study empirically verified the importance of selection attributes, providing theoretical and practical implications.
