Location Based Routing Service In Distributed Web Environment

  • Location based services based on positions of moving objects are expanding the business area gradually. The location is included all estimate position of the future as well as the position of the present and the past. Location based routing service is active business application in which the position information of moving objects is applied efficiently. This service includes the trajectory of past positions, the real-time tracing of present position of special moving objects, and the shortest and optimized paths combined with map information. In this paper, we describes the location based routing services is extend in distributed web GIS environment. Web GIS service systems provide the various GIS services of analyzing and displaying the spatial data with friendly user - interface. That is, we propose the efficient architecture and technologies for servicing the location based routing services in distributed web GIS environment. The position of moving objects is acquired by GPS (Global Positioning System) and converted the coordinate of real world by map matching with geometric information. We suppose the swapping method between main memory and storages to access the quite a number of moving objects. And, the result of location based routing services is wrapped the web-styled data format. We design the schema based on the GML. We design these services as components were developed in object-oriented computing environment, and provide the interoperability, language-independent, easy developing environment as well as re - usability.

  • 도시 수해 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 충분한 펌핑 시스템과 하천 유하능력을 확보하여야 하나 하천의 유하 능력을 넘어서는 유출이 발생하는 경우 각 소유역 별로 이들 유량을 일시적으로 저류 할 수 있는 유수체계의 설치가 필요할 것이다 그러나 이러한 유수체계의 설치에도 불구하고 강우 분포의 변화 및 유량의 이동 지체에 따라 오히려 첨두 유량이 증가하는 문제를 발생시킬 수도 있으므로 상류와 하류에 위치한 각 유수지의 저류량과 유출 펌핑량 간의 시간문제 등 상호 관련성을 고려한 유수체계의 설치 모형이 필요하므로 IDP(Incremental Dynamic Programming) 기법을 적용하여 강우 분포에 따른 유수지 상호간의 영향을 고려한 설계 모형을 제시하였다

Analysis of AC losses in HTS coils by temperature variations

  • We analyzed the temperature dependency of the AC losses in high temperature superconducting (HTS) coils. In the case of a short sample of an HTS tape, the magnetization loss at 4.2 K could be higher than the one at 77 K for a same transport current. It happens when the perpendicular magnetic field is above a certain magnitude. The AC loss characteristics of solenoidal coils have been analyzed at the temperatures of 65 K and 77 K. They were categorized by the aspect ratios. The operating current of a solenoid was normally set about 70 % of the critical current. An HTS solenoid with the same operating current of 77 K causes larger AC losses at 65 K in the most cases of the HTS solenoids. We also analyzed the AC loss characteristics due to the temperature variations for three types of superconducting magnetic energy storages. Two of them were solenoidal types and the other was toroidal type. The results showed the tendency for the coils to have higher AC losses at lower temperature with the same operating currents and scenarios.

  • Silicon, especially silicon in the form of SiO2, is a major component of rocks. Final spent fuel storages, which are being designed, are located in suitable rock formations in the Earth's crust. Reduction of the uncertainty of silicon neutron scattering and capture is needed; improved silicon evaluations have been recently produced by the ORNL/IAEA collaboration within the INDEN project. This paper deals with the nuclear data validation of that evaluation performed at the LR-0 reactor by means of critical experiments and measurement of reaction rates. Large amounts of silicon were used both as pure crystalline silicon and SiO2 sand. The critical moderator level was measured for various core configurations. Reaction rates were determined in the largest core configuration. Simulations of the experimental setup were performed using the MCNP6.2 code. The obtained results show the improvement in silicon cross-sections in the INDEN evaluations compared to existing evaluations in major libraries. The new Thermal Scattering Law for SiO2 published in ENDF/B-VIII.0 additionally reduces the discrepancy between calculation and experiments. However, an unphysical peak is visible in the neutron spectrum in SiO2 obtained by calculation with the new Thermal Scattering Law.

산지 소유역의 홍수유출 예측을 위한 모의발생 수문모형의 개발 (Development of Hydrologic Simulation Model to Predict Flood Runoff in a Small Mountaineous Watershed)

  • Most of the Korean watersheds are mountaineous and consist of various soil types and land uses And seldom watersheds are found to have long term hydrologic records. The SNUA, a hydrologic watershed model was developed to meet the unique characteristics of Korean watershed and simulate the storm hydrographs from a small mountaineous watershed. Also the applicability of the model was tested by comparing the simulated storm hydrographs and the observed from Dochuk watershed, Gwangjugun, Kyunggido The conclusions obtained in this study could be summarized as follows ; 1. The model includes the simulation of interception, evaporation and infiltration for land surface hydrologic cycle on the single storm basis and the flow routing features for both overland and channel systems. 2. Net rainfall is estimated from the continuous computation of water balance at the surface of interception storage accounting for the rainfall intensities and the evaporation losses at each time step. 3. Excess rainfall is calculated by the abstraction of infiltration loss estimated by the Green and Ainpt Model from the net rainfall. 4. A momentum equation in the form of kinematic wave representation is solved by the finite differential method to obtain the runoff rate at the exit of the watershed. 5. The developed SNUA Model is a type of distributed and event model that considers the spatial distribution of the watershed parameters and simulates the hydrograph on a single storm basis. 6. The results of verification test show that the simulated peak flows agree with the observed in the occurence time but have relative enors in the range of 5.4-40.6% in various flow rates and also show that the simulated total runoff have 6.9-32% of relative errors against the observed. 7. To improve the applicability of the model, it was thought that more studies like the application test to the other watersheds of various types or the addition of the other hydrologk components describing subsurface storages are needed.

도시 하천유지유량 공급의 저수지 운영 방법 (Operation rule curve for supplying urban instream flow from reservoir)

  • To provide the operation rule curve for suppling instream flow to urban stream from reservoir, the Soho reservoir with watershed area of 7.4 $km^2$ and total water storage of 2.58 $Mm^3$ was planned at the headwaters of the Daejeoncheon. Daily streamflow was simulated and using the simulated streamflow and desired instream flow, the operation rule curve by Senga method was drawn and evaluated through reservoir operation. Senga method is derived by accumulating the differences between streamflow and desired instream flow adversely. Water storages were simulated on a daily basis to supply urban instream flow from Soho reservoir, but the amount of supplying instream flow to urban stream was not nearly increased comparing with that of normal operation that does not used the rule curve. Thereafter the new simulation-based operation rule curve was derived and applied to supply instream flow from Soho reservoir. In normal operation, the amount of instream flow was shown to 15,000 $m^3$/d, but it was increased to 27,700 $m^3$/d in withdrawal limited operation using the new derived rule curve, in which the applicability of this rule curve was proved. Also comparing with the flow duration curves at station just before urban Daejeoncheon stream without and with upstream Soho reservoir, the 95th flow was decreased from 1.64 mm/d to 1.51 mm/d, and the 355th flow was increased from 0.17 mm/d to 0.30 mm/d. Monthly streamflows during October to March were increased from 10.6~24.1 mm to 24.1~34.0 mm with the increasing rate of 141~227%.

평창 동계올림픽을 대비한 적정 제설제 비축량 추정 (Estimates on appropriate storage for deicing materials for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games)

  • OBJECTIVES : The objective of this study is to estimate the appropriate storage required for deicing materials in Gangwon-do for successful snow removal operations during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games. The final estimates of the deicing chemicals can be used by public agencies to aid decision making. METHODS : First, the database that exists in the road snow-removal management system (RSMS) of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, South Korea was used to determine historical characteristics of snow removal experiences in Gangwon-do. The database includes historical information, including regional and road weather data and number of snow-removal works. Second, both the maximum and the actual amount of storages used for deicing materials in the past three years were analyzed. Lastly, the final estimates of the deicing materials were evaluated using an additional equation. It considers frequency of salt spray application, total administrative road length estimated by road agencies, and number of days required for snow removal works in Gangwon-do. Consequently, the results show that significant differences were not observed between the final estimates and the maximum amount used during the past three years. RESULTS : The final estimates of the deicing materials are almost similar to the maximum amount used during the past three years in Gangwon-do. CONCLUSIONS : The study shows that the estimates of deicing chemicals can be useful when decision making is required for the snow-removal policy.

미디어 서버와 위치-인지 오버레이 네트워크를 연계한 효율적 콘텐츠 공유 및 서비스 방법 (A Scheme of Efficient Contents Service and Sharing By Associating Media Server with Location-Aware Overlay Network)

  • 최근의 오버레이 네트워크 기술은 다양한 유형의 콘텐츠 분산 공유를 가능하게 하고 있다. 비록 오버레이 네트워크가 분산 공유의 거대한 콘텐츠 저장소로서 훌륭한 장점을 가지고 있지만, 스트리밍과 같은 인터넷 서비스는 현실적으로 용이하지 않다. 반면에 콘텐츠 서비스에 특화되어 있는 미디어 서버는 훌륭한 서비스 능력은 보유하고 있지만, 끊임없이 생성되며 지속적으로 서버와 스토리지의 성능 개선과 증설을 요구하는 콘텐츠들에 대해서 효율적 관리를 크게 필요로 하고 있다. 그러므로 오버레이 네트워크는 미디어 서버를 위한 대규모 콘텐츠 관리를 지원하고, 미디어 서버는 오버레이 네트워크를 위해 고성능 콘텐츠 서비스를 제공한다면, 두 시스템의 효율적 연관은 훌륭한 시너지 효과를 낼 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 위치-인지 개념을 기반으로 한 오버레이 네트워크의 구성 방법과 미디어 서버와의 연계를 위한 서비스 정책 및 캐시 기반의 콘텐츠 관리 기법, 그리고 그들을 기반으로 하는 효율적인 콘텐츠 서비스 방법이 제안된다. 그리고 스트리밍 서비스에 대해 제안된 시스템의 성능 분석이 이루어진다.

선형추적에 의한 한강수계 복합 저수지 계통의 이수 조작기준 작성 (Development of Han River Multi-Reservoir Operation Rules by Linear Tracking)

  • 불확실한 저수지 유입량과 수요량 때문에 최적의 저수지 조작기준은 정량화하기 쉽지 않다. 그렇지만 저수지 조작에 일정 수요를 충족시키면서 모의 발생시킨 유입량 시계열을 반영함으로써 음해 추계적 최적화 접근법을 이용하면 조작기준은 작성 가능하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한강수계 7개 저수지 계통에 적절하도록 수력발전 최대화를 선형추적으로 모형화하고 최적제어를 이용하여 최적조작을 수행하였다. 이 때 2001년 수도권 용수수요를 만족시키도록 한 최적 조작 모형에는 다지점 마코브 모형에 의해 모의 발생된 유입량 자료가 입력된다. 그리고 최적 결과에 대하여 회구 분석과 통계 분석을 수행하여 월별 조작기준을 작성하고 계절별 저수위별 확률을 제시하였다. 이때 상대적으로 저수용량이 커서 조절능력이 좋은 화천댐, 소양강댐, 충주댐은 저류와 방류의 회귀 관계가 잘 형성되었다. 작성된 조작기준으로 실제 운영 기간동안에 대하여 모의조작을 수행하여 그 효율성을 검증하였다.

  • 최근 30년간 경제적, 사회적 및 군사적인 목적으로 국내에 많은 지하구조물의 건설이 수행되었다. 그 결과 지질조사, 실험실 및 현장시험, 계측 등을 통하여 많은 양의 자료가 얻어졌으나 지금가지 이 귀중한 자료들은 체계적으로 축적되지 못하였고 활용되지도 못하였다. 이는 막대한 돈과 시간의 낭비라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Microsoft Access 97을 개발 도구로 하여 지하 구조물의 건설중에 얻어진 자료를 효과적으로 저장 및 운용할 수 있는 데이터베이스인 GeoINFO를 개발하였다. GeoINFO는 주요 지반 구조물인 터널, 지하저장시설 및 사면의 구축 시 얻어진 자료의 저장 및 운용에 유용하도록 구성되어 있으며 자료 입력을 위해서는 다층의 트리 (tree)군조를, 자료의 검색을 위해서는 Visual Basic을 활용한 고유의 검색 시스템을 갖추고 있다.
