충동구매에 미치는 마케팅자극요인: TV홈쇼핑 이용자를 중심으로 (Marketing Stimulating Factors of Impulsive Buying : Focus on TV Home Shopping Consumer)

  • The central purpose of this paper is to examine impulsive buying from home shopping channels and to investigate some stimulating factors of marketing on the customers' impulsive buying. on TV. Survey questionnaires were given to 303 customers who have purchased products through TV home shopping more than once. We report the following findings. First, we find that product stimuli factors exert an effect on impulsive buying of fashion goods, but not of specialty goods. Second, of the two promotion stimuli factors a bonus pack and an extended payment period-the latter is shown to have a great effect. Third, in the case of price stimuli factors, concrete stimuli such as a discount range have a greater influence than abstract stimuli such as a reliable pricing. Finally, in the area of situational stimuli factors, speeches of show hosts have a bigger impact than buying situations such as limit selling. We believe that the current research provides a significant result, theoretically and practically, with respect to customers' behavior in TV home shopping. The methodological limitation involving samples and sampling method and the regional limitation make it difficult to generalize the findings. It should be worthy classifying and managing marketing stimuli. More practical research is in order.

저령 추출물의 멜라닌 생성억제 작용 (Inhibitory Effect of Polyporus umbellatus Extract on Melanogenesis)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate melanogenesis inhibition of ethanol extract of Polyporus (EP) by using B16F10 melanoma cells. Methods : We measured antioxidant effect of EP by using 1,1-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay and we confirmed melanin contents and tyrosinase activity of EP in cells. Additionally, the expression of tyrosinase-related protein-1 (TRP-1) and TRP-2 was observed by Western blot. Results : EP showed significantly high radical scavenging activity and inhibition of melanogenesis in dose-dependent manner by decreasing cellular tyrosinase activity and melanin content with or without α-melanin stimulating hormone. TRP-1 and TRP-2 expressions were also suppressed by EP in B16F10 cells. Conclusions : These results suggest that EP inhibits the melanogenesis and it could be a new organic ingredient for hyper-pigmentation.

마우스 대식세포를 이용한 일당귀 물추출물의 항염효능 연구 (Anti-inflammatory Effect of Angelicae acutilobae Radix Water Extract on LPS-stimulated Mouse Macrophages)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Angelicae acutilobae Radix Water Extract (AA) on the production of cytokines in RAW 264.7 cell stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Method : RAW 264.7 cells were cotreated with AA (50 and $100{\mu}g/mL$) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS; $1{\mu}g/mL$) for 24 hours. After 24 hours treatment, using bead-based multiplex cytokine assay, concentrations of various cytokines such as interleukin(IL)-6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-${\alpha}$) granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF), granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor(GM-CSF), and macrophage inflammatory protein(MIP)-$1{\alpha}$ were measured. Result : AA significantly inhibited LPS-induced production of IL-6 and MIP-$1{\alpha}$ from LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells at the concentration of $50{\mu}g/mL$. AA significantly inhibited LPS-induced production of TNF-${\alpha}$ from LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells at the concentration of $100{\mu}g/mL$. AA significantly inhibited LPS-induced production of G-CSF and GM-CSF in RAW 264.7 cells at the concentrations of 50 and $100{\mu}g/mL$. Conclusion : These results suggest that AA has anti-inflammatory effect related with its inhibition of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, TNF-${\alpha}$, G-CSF, GM-CSF, and MIP-$1{\alpha}$ in LPS-induced macrophages.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Activated charcoal (AC) for stimulating growth and productivity of Curcuma longa Linne as affected by different concentrations of AC. Growth characteristics such as plant height and leaf length were the highest with the optimum amount of activated charcoal ranged from 10 to 30%. Root growth was elongated by the addition of 30% AC with the highest rhizome length and weight.

온라인과 오프라인에서 의류 상품 색상감성평가가 상품에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 -흰색 티셔츠를 중심으로- (Effect of Color Sensibility Evaluation of Clothing Product on Attitude toward Product in On-line and Off-line -Focusing on White T-Shirt-)

  • Purpose of this study is to explore: 1) the difference in color sensibility evaluation, color attractiveness, and attitude toward the product, 2) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on color attractiveness, and 3) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on attitude toward the product between the identical clothing product presented in on-line and off-line settings. Experimental method was applied with 230 male and female university students using stimuli of an on-line site as well as an off-line window display presenting the same white t-shirts. Color sensibility factors of white t-shirt were hedonic, stimulating, active, and spatial senses. These color sensibility factors of the clothing product affected product color attractiveness as well as attitude toward the product. Although there were not differences in color sensibility evaluation, product attractiveness, and attitude toward the product between items presented in on-line and off-line settings, difference was found in the effect of color sensibility on the color attractiveness and attitude toward the product. The effect of color sensibility on color attractiveness and attitude toward the product was stronger in on-line than in off-line setting. Hedonic sense was the most important factor influencing attractiveness of product color and attitude toward the product. In addition, spatial sense affected attractiveness of product color in on-line setting; and stimulating sense impacted attitude toward the product in off-line setting. Based on the results implications were generated.

온도 측정을 통한 상용 쑥뜸의 자극효과에 대한 실험적 연구 - 승온속도 및 유효자극기를 중심으로 - (Experimental Study on the Stimulating Effect of Commercial Moxa Combustion through the Measurement of Temperature - Focused on ascending temperature gradient and effective stimulating period -)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the mechanism and effect of moxibustion objectively and to be used as the quantitative data for developing the new thermal stimulating treatment by observing the combustion characteristics of commercial moxaes. Methods : We have selected two types(large-size moxa A(LMA), large-size moxa B(LMB)) among large moxaes used widely in the clinic. We examined combustion times, temperatures, temperature gradients in each period during a combustion of moxa. Results : 1. The ascending temperature gradient measured in the central point of non-contacted surface was fastest, the average ascending temperature gradient of both moxaes was $0.0384^{\circ}C/sec$, $0.0123^{\circ}C/sec$ respectively, 3.1 times faster in LMA. The maximum ascending temperature gradient was also about 2.9 times faster in LMA. The time required for the maximum ascending temperature gradient from ignition was 254sec, 411sec respectively. 2. The minimum descending temperature gradient in the retaining period was $-0.0250^{\circ}C/sec$, $-0.0090^{\circ}C/sec$ respectively and the average descending temperature gradient was $-0.0160^{\circ}C/sec$, $-0.0037^{\circ}C/sec$ respectively on the non-contact surface. 3. On the basis of the non-contact surface($A_I$), the time at which the effective stimulus period began to occur was about 264sec, 796sec respectively after an ignition, the time at which the maximum temperature began to occur was about 373sec, 1323sec respectively after an ignition, and the maximum temperature was $0.9^{\circ}C$ higher in LMA. The maximum ascending temperature gradient was also about 4.2 times faster in LMA. Conclusion : It was thought that not only the figure of moxicombustion device, but also the form and size of moxa had influence on the combustion characteristics deciding the performance of stimulus seriously.

  • The early studies demonstrated that the relative amount of FSH was important for stimulating normal ovarian activity and demonstrated the existence of a threshold level for FSH, above which follicular growth was activated. It was found that only a modest increase in circulating FSH level above the threshold (between 10 and 30%) was required to stimulate folliculogenesis. In addition, FSH is primary responsible for initiating estradiol production through the activation of the aromatase enzyme system in granulosa cells, follicular secretion and growth. LH on the other hand, plays a supportive role in ovarian steroidogenesis, stimulating the ovarian thecal cells to produce androgen, the precursor for estradiol synthesis. But there is now an increasing number of reports in the literature demonstrating an adverse effect of LH on fertility and miscarriage in infertile and fertile women. So HP-FSH is the drug of a highly purified FSH preparation which has a higher specific activity and far fewer impurities than FSH. This study was performed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of HP-FSH administered (SC; subcutaneous) versus FSH(IM; intramuscular) for ovulation induction. 20 candidates patients for ovulation induction were participated. All patients underwent pituitary desensitizing with a long gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist protocol and ovulation induction was started with HP-FSH SC (10 patients; group I) or FSH IM (10 patients; group II). After ovulation, outcome of ovulation induction and local reaction of injection site were compared. There were no difference of outcome of ovulation in two groups except pregnancy rate/embryo transfer. Group I had a higher pregnancy rate/ embryo transfer than Group II (44.4% Vs 28.6%). Pain, redness, tenderness, bruising and itching when the injection received on the first 5 days of treated (50 SC and 50 IM injections) were assessed. There were no significant difference (P>0.05) in the incidence of tenderness, bruising and itching between the IM and SC injection. But IM injection (FSH) had a tendency of higher above incidence. The number of reports of pain, redness were significantly increased in IM injection group (P<0.05). These results indicate that SC administration of HP-FSH has been shown to be as effect for superovulation as traditional gonadotropins, with an improved safety profile due to the removal of extaneous proteins.

녹두자엽에서 엽록소 및 단백질함량과 $\delta$-Aminolevulinate Dehydratase활성에 미치는 Polyamine의 영향 (Effects of Polyamines on Chlorophyll and Protein content, and $\delta$-Aminolevulinate Dehydratase Activity in Greening Mung Bean Cotyledons)

  • 녹두 유식물의 자엽에서 엽록소 및 단백질 함량과 $\delta$-aminolevulinate dehydratase(ALAD)활성의 변화에 미치는 polyamine의 영향을 조사하였다. Polyamine은 녹화과정에서 자엽내의 엽록소 생성을 촉진하였으며, 이 효과는 KCl에 의해서 상승되었다. 자엽내의 단백질 함량의 변화 또한 엽록소 함량의 변화와 유사하였다. ALAD활성은 암하에서보다 광선하에서 억제되었으나, 18시간 암처리후의 광조사는 ALAD활성을 증가시켰다. Putre-scine처리에 의한 ALAD활성은 암하에서 촉진효과가 낮았으나 광선하에는 그 활성이 증가되었다. KCl은 암하에서 ALAD활성을 촉진시켰으나 광선하에서는 그 효과가 감소되었다. 또한 polyamine과 KCl의 복합처리에서는 촉진효과가 없었다. 이와같은 결과에서 녹두자엽에서의 색소체발달은 polyamine과 광선에 의해 영향을 받으며, polya- mine은 색소체발달에 중요한 작용을 하는 것으로 사료된다.

치과용 임플란트 주위 뼈모세포에 대한 전기자극의 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Electrical Stimulation on Osteoblast Surrounding Dental Implant)

  • Several factors can affect the formation of bone tissues surrounding implants. One of the factors is electrical stimulation. It is known to change the movement of cells, form and destroy cells, and alter concentration and chemical component of soft tissues and bones. The effect of electrical stimulation on bone formation can vary according to the intensity of electric currents, stimulating time, the method of sending electric currents, and tissues and cells currents are applied to. This study examines how various enviroments affect osteoblasts. (1) effect on osteoblast with varying intensity of currents Osteoblast-like cells were raised on four plates where implants can be placed. A constant current sink (MC3T3-E1) that can adjust the intensity and stimulating time of electric currents was used. The four plates were stimulated with $0{\mu}A$, $10{\mu}A$, $20{\mu}A$, and $40{\mu}A$, respectively. After 24 hours of stimulation, the number and distribution of cells surrounding implants were examined. (2) effect on osteoblast with varying conditions The 3 study was performed with same method. (1) The change of attached cell number 72-hour after application of various currents (2) The change of attached cell number 72-hour after application of various interval (3) The comparison of attached cell number by implant surface texture The following are the results: 1. The distribution and density of cells surrounding implant is highest under the intensity of electric currents of $20{\mu}A$. 2. The number of cells attached implants is highest under the intensity of electric currents of $20{\mu}A$. 3. The number of cells attached implants is highest under continous electric currents 4. The number of cells attached implants is not different by implant surface texture.

Tetrachloroauric Acid Depresses the Activation Processes of Phagocytic Cells

  • Gold compounds depress phagocytic cell responses, including chemotaxis, and respiratory burst. However, the effects of gold compounds on the function of phagocytic cells are variable according to the preparation of medicine. In this study, effect of tetrachloroauric acid on activated neutrophil responses, including respiratory burst, lysosomal enzyme release and change of intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ level and on the synthesis of interleukin-8 and granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor by macrophages was studied. This study further examines how gold compounds affect the activation processes. The respiratory burst stimulated by complement C5a, degraded IgG and PMA in neutrophils was inhibited by tetrachloroauric acid. In contrast to C5a and degraded IgG, PMA-stimulated superoxide production was weakly inhibited by tetrachloroauric acid. Staurosporine, genistein, EGTA and verapamil inhibited superoxide and $H_2O_2$ production caused by C5a and degraded IgG. PMA-stimulated superoxide production was inhibited by staurosporine but was not affected by genistein. Tetrachloroauric acid, genistein, EGTA and verapamil inhibited the release of acid phosphatase and myeloperoxidase, while the effect of staurosporine was not detected. The synthesis of interleukin-8 and granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor by $interleukin-1{\beta}$ in macrophages was inhibited by tetrachloroauric acid. Preincubation with tetrachloroauric acid, genistein, EGTA and verapamil, the elevation of [$Ca^{2+}_i$] evoked by C5a was inhibited. Store-regulated $Ca^{2+}$ entry in thapsigargin-pretreated neutrophils was decreased by the addition of tetrachloroauric acid and genistein. The effect of staurosporine on intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ mobilization was not observed. In conclusion, tetrachloroauric acid may suppress neutrophil responses through its inhibitory action on elevation of intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ level and protein kinase C. It might exhibit an inhibitory effect on the action of protein tyrosine kinase. Tetrachloroauric acid depresses cytokine production by macrophages.
