세포외 분비물질을 이용한 체세포배 생산성의 향상 (Extracellular compounds can enhance development of carrot somatic embryos)

  • 당근세포(Daucus carota)로 부터 체세포배 생산성 증대를 위하여 체세포 배 현탁 배양액으로부터 추출한 세포외 분비물질을 이용하여 다음과 같은 효과를 측정하였다.: 분자량의 차이, 세포외 분비 물질 추출 시기, 주입시기, 주입농도에 따른 각종 체세포 배 생산성 증감 효과. 체세포배 생산량은 최대 1,500개/ml까지 얻었으며, 10kDa 이상 분자량이 포함된 세포외 분비물질을 초기에 주입시켰을 때 생산성이 특히 증가함을 보여 주었다.

재조합유전자의 미세주입이 소 난포란의 체외발생에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Pronuclear Injection of Recombinant DNA on the Development Potential of Bovine Follicular Oocytes In Vitro)

  • Bovine follicular oocytes were matured in two different conditions, TCM 199+10% FBS with or without hormones (0.01 unit/ml ovine follicle stimulating hormone, 0.01 unit/ml ovine luteinizing hormone and 1$\mu\textrm{g}$/ml $\beta$-estradiol). There was no significant difference in maturation and fertilization rates of the oocytes between two groups. The result indicates that hormonal treatment does not have beneficial effect on in vitro maturation and fertilization of follicular oocytes. IVF-derived cone-cell bovine embryos were injected with foreign DNA (CChcLf) by microinjection method and then co-cultrued with bovine oviductal epithelial cells. Developmental rate of microinjected embryos to blastocyst stage (21%) was similar to that of non-injected embryos(29%). This result represents that microinjected bovine embryos produced in vitro have a potential of development to normal blastocysts.

인삼Saponin의 산가수분해물이 Epididymal Adipose Tissue의 지방대식에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Acid Hydrolyzates of Ginseng Saponins on Lipid Metabolism in Rat Epi didymal Adipose Tissue)

  • Studies were carried out to clarify the effect of ginsenoside-Rbl -Rbr and acid hydrolyzatps of ginsenoside-Rbl, -Rb2 (HRbl, HRbf) on lipolysis and lipogenesis induced by epinephrine, glucagon, ACTH (adrenocorticotrophic hormone), TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) and insulin in rat adipose tissilr. HRbl , HRb2 slightly inhibited lipolysis induced by epinephine. glucagon and TSH. ACTH-induced lipolysis in fat tissue slices was significantly inhibited by ginsenoside -Rbl, -Rb2, HRbl and HRb2, particulary HRb2. None of ginsenoside-Rbl, -Rb2, HRbl and HRb2 accelerated insulin-stimulated lipogenesis in fat calls. Among ginseng products, extract powder (freeze dried), extract powder (spray dried), red ginseng powder inhibited ACTH-induced lipolysis in adipose tissue slices, but red ginseng extract not affect them.

  • In order to investigate the effect of the Aqua-acupuncture of the Pakukchun treated on Shinsu(BL23) loci on the estrogen-deficiency osteoporosis induced by ovariectomy in rats, serum osteocalcin estradiol progesterone follicular stimulating hormone(FSH) calcium(Ca) and phosphorous(P) levels were monitored. The Aqua-acupuncture of Pakukchun treated on Shinsu loci have favorable effect on treatment and prevention of osteoporosis induced by ovariectomy in rats.

  • The relief of pain by laser therapy in useful in the treatment of ulcers burn, tenosynovitis, tendinitis, bursitis, neuritis, rheumatism, chilblains, herpes, zoster. The degenerative cells probiferate to replace by the active vigorous cells by laser rays and suppressed the growth of cell in pathological lesion or condition laser rays promote healing by stimulating growth of celt or tissue The purpose of this study was to introduce about the principles of therapeutic laser ray, characteristics, indication, contraindication, technique, therapeutic effect or clinical effect throughout refference books. The author believe that therapeutic laser rays will contribute grently toward over coming the difficulties of physical therapy.

Effect of Window Display Design for Flower Shop on Customers' Buying Desire

  • This study purposed to examine how the window display of flower shops affects consumers' buying desire, and for this purpose, we surveyed flower buying customers' interest in window display according to their gender, age, and occupation. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire with flower shop customers in Seoul, Daegu, and Gyeongju. Interest in window display was over 1.5 times higher in women than in men. Among criteria for choosing a flower shop, window display was more important than other factors. With regard to experience of being stopped by unique window display, many of the respondents replied that they had such an experience, and the frequency was higher among women than among men. Among different types of window display, theme-type window display was most effective m stimulating customers' curiosity and buying desire. According to occupation, housewives showed particularly high interest in window display. The results of this study show that the window display of flower shops has a significant effect on consumers' buying desire.

  • In this study, a survey research was conducted on government employees in Busan Metropolitan City to identify the influence of cyber education factors (learning factor, learner factor, and learning system factor) on the preference for government employee cyber education offered by the government always learning system. Analyzed results, recognition of learning factor, learner factor, and always learning system were shown to have significant influence on the preference for cyber education, but no indication of influence by always learning support. This study intends to assist stimulating voluntary participation in cyber education and active commitment in learning activities through improving learning effect and fortifying convenient informatization education, with regard to activation of cyber education and improved preference for cyber education.

  • Whole body vibration is a new type of exercise that induces the response and adaptation of the neuromuscular system by stimulating tendons or muscles through vibration of various frequencies and muscle strength on the footrest. Therefore, in this study, we tried to find out the effect of health promotion and physical fitness promotion on agility, flexibility, and quick reaction ability in the state of general paralysis. Body vibration exercise was additionally applied to the entrance examination practical program for students preparing for the physical education entrance exam.

Anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer and hypoglycaemic activities of ethanolic and crude alkaloid extracts of Madhuca indica (Koenig) Gmelin seed cake

  • Madhuca indica has been used ethnomedically in Indian folks. In the present study we have investigated anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer and hypoglycaemic effect of ethanolic extract (EE) and crude alkaloid extract of Madhuca indica seed cake on albino rats. The study showed that the EE had a significant, dose dependent anti-edematogenic, anti-ulcerogenic and hypoglycaemic activity, whereas the crude alkaloid extract exhibited a significant only. Both the extracts possess dose dependent inhibitory activity on carrageenan-induced edema, inhibiting prostaglandins or mediators involved in prostaglandin synthesis, the second phase of inflammation. The EE was significantly effective in protecting pylorus-ligation-induced gastric ulcers at a higher dose level. The active principle of EE seems to be a selective inhibitor of the COX II (prostaglandin synthesis) without important effect on COX I since, EE exhibited both anti-edematogenic and anti-ulcerogenic effect. The EE was effective in reducing the plasma glucose level in normal albino rats in a dose dependent manner, producing hypoglycaemic effect by stimulating the release of insulin from the ${\beta}-cells$ and/or increasing the uptake of glucose from the plasma.

체감 미디어를 위한 감각 효과 저작 도구 (Sensory Effect Authoring Tool for Sensible Media)

  • 본 논문에서는 체감 미디어의 감각 효과를 효율적으로 저작하기 위해 개발된 감각 효과 저작 도구에 대해 소개한다. 체감 미디어란 미디어 내 인간의 오감을 자극하는 감각 효과들을 실세계에서 실현할 수 있는 미디어를 의미하며, 사용자의 몰입감을 증대시키는 새로운 미디어 산업으로 주목받고 있다. 이러한 체감 미디어 산업이 발전하기 위해서는 감각 효과 메타데이터를 손쉽게 저작할 수 있는 효율적인 저작 도구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-V(ISO/IEC 23005-3) 표준 기술을 기반으로 감각 효과를 저작할 수 있는 도구를 설계하고 개발한 결과를 제시한다.
