구면수차와 Stiles-Crawford 효과를 기준으로 4개의 굴절비구면을 가지는 모형안을 최적화 기법으로 설계하였다. 구속조건으로는 측정된 안구의 곡률반경 , 중심두께, 비구면도, 구면수차를 사용하였다. 또한 동공에서의 Stiles-Crawford 효과를 고려하여 최적화하였다 최적화의 결과로 얻은 모형안의 근축영역값들은 유효초점거리 20.8169mm, 상측정점초점거리 15.4820mm, 물측정점초점거리 -13.8528mm, 상거리 15.7150mm이다. 본 논문의 모형안은 한국인 정시 75안을 대상으로 측정되어진 자료를 바탕으로 국내에서 처음으로 제작된 정밀모형안이다.

입사 광량과 동공 직경의 관계는 Stiles-Crawford 효과에 의해서 동의 중앙에서 가장자리로 갈수록 입사 광량이 감소하는 경향을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 여러 가지 영향에 의하여 임의의 방향으로 입사광의 실수 진폭 분포가 편위되었을 때 상면에서의 착락원 형태 변화를 조사하였다. 입사광의 실수 진폭 분포가 편위되지 않았을 때는 상면에서 착락원은 원형 대칭성을 나타냈지만 입사광의 실수 진폭 분포가 편위되었을 때는 상면에서의 착락원 형태는 비대칭의 타원 형태로 변화되었다. 또한 입사광의 실수 진폭 분포의 편위 방향과 상면에서 착락원의 장축 방향이 일치하였으며 입사광의 실수 진폭 분포의 편위 방향이 서로 반대 방향(${\Delta}{\phi}$와 ${\Delta}{\phi}+{\pi}$)일지라도 상면에서의 강도 분포와 착락원의 형태는 동일하게 나타나 상질에 동일한 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다.

본 논문에서 연구된 정밀모형안은 정시안에서 1.2 시력의 적정한 수차를 가진 모형안임을 확인하였다. 망막의 특성을 생략한 안광학계에 광전달함수를 사용하여 망막에서의 광세기 분포를 조사하여 자각식으로 측정한 임상자료와 비교하였다. 망막의 광학적 특성을 나타내는 안구의 수차, 회절, 망막 대비감도, Stiles-Crawford 효과, 동공크기를 포함한 대비감도함수를 계산하였다. 모형안에 동공직경 1 mm와 8 mm의 범위에서 정시안과 비정시안에 대해 대비감도함수와 변조전달함수를 비교하여 시력을 예측하였다.

본 논문에서는 구면수차와 Stiles-Crowford 효과를 고려하여 인간의 눈을 모델링한 정밀모형안과 등가인 렌즈모듈 모형안의 설계에 관하여 논의하였고, 렌즈모듈 모형안을 적용한 Head Mounted Display(HMD)용 광학계를 설계 및 평가하였다. HMD용 광학계에서 요구되는 소형화, 고성능 및 고해상도 등의 필수조건들을 만족시키기 위해 회절광학소자와 비구면을 이용하여 색수차와 단색수차를 보정하였다. SVGA급 480,000화소를 갖는 0.47 인치 micro-display, 플라스틱 hybrid 렌즈, 그리고 렌즈모듈 모형안으로 HMD용 광학계를 구성하였다. 설계된 광학계의 초점거리는 31.25 mm, FOV는 24H$\times$18V$\times$30D degrees, 그리고 전장길이는 59.1 mm이다. 결과적으로, 사용자가 편안함을 느낄 수 있는 HMD에 유용한 광학계를 얻었다.

Hollow core wood flush doors for wardrobes, and other general openings and bathroom were designed and fabricated to investigate the factors causing the bowing of them and to find out the countermeasure for the phenomena. Balance in grain orientation, thickness, specific gravity and M.C.(%) of face panel and symmetrical construction were the essential factors to prevent the deflection of flush doors just after manufacturing. Under one-sided severe service condition, the unbalance of M.C. between opposite face panels is inevitable. So the material as thick plywood with high stiffness is considered as an alternative for the stile. UF resin mixing into PVAc emulsion is preferred for bathroom.

A case of Strongyloides stercoralis infection was experienced in a 73-year old Korean female patient, was hospitalized with relapse of cholecystitis. The patient developed cough and dyspnea 17 days after the admission. On the 27th hospitalized day, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain started. A number of parasitic larvae were incubated at $25^{\circ}C$ for 2 days. Typical fork tailed filariform larvae of S. stercoralis (Bavay, 1876) Stiles and Hassall, 1902, were identified after cultivation. There was no improvement of diarrhoea after the medication with mebendasole. After the administration of thiabendazole, however, diarrhoea was stopped. On the 6th day of medication, S. stercoralis larvae was no more detected, and thereafter no larva was observed by repeated stool examinations upto 2 months after chemotherapy. The patient had the history of administration of steroid for articular rheumatism. Therfore this ,case seems to be a hyperinfection of S. stercoralis due to an autoinfection and to be the first report on the hyperinfected strongyloidiasis in Korea. Related literature was briefly reviewed.

In this study, a position control characteristics of pneumatic cylinder with transmission line is analyzed. Dynamic characteristics of transmission line using compressible fluid is changed by the flowing stiles of the fluid the diameter and the length of the line. But, the effect of the change of dynamic characteristics of transmission line by the flowing states on the position control characteristics can be neglected because of the friction force of the pneumatic cylinder. So, We assume that the position control characteristics is affected by the diameter and length of the transmission line. The experimental results according to the change of parameter of the transmission line show that the relation between the parameter of the transmission line and the position control characteristics of pneumatic cylinder driving system with the transmission line.
