2차좌굴을 포함하는 선체판의 대변형거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Large Deflection Behavior of Ship Plate with Secondary Buckling)

  • Hihg Tensile Steel enables to reduce the plate thickness comparing to the case when Mild Steel is used. From the economical view points this is very preferable since the reduction in the hull weight. however to use the High Tensile Steel effectively the plate thickness may become thin so that the occurrence of buckling is inevitable and design allowing plate buckling may be necessary. If the inplane stiffness of the plating decreases due to buckling the flexural rigidity of the cross sect6ion of a ship's hull also decreases. This may lead to excessive deflection of the hull girder under longitudinal bending. In these cases a precise estimation of plate's behavior after buckling is necessary and nonliner analysis of isolated and stiffened plates is required for structural sys-tem analysis. In this connection this paper discusses nonlinear behaviour of thin plate under thrust. Based on the analytical method elastic large deflection analysis of isolated plate is perform and simple expression are derived to evaluated the inplane rigidity of plates subjected to uniaxial compression.

수평보강재로 보강된 세장복부판을 갖는 플레이트거더의 휨강도 평가 실험 (Experiments on Flexural Resistance of Longitudinally Stiffened Plate Girder with Slender Web)

  • 본 연구에서는 수평보강재로 보강된 세장복부판을 갖는 플레이트거더의 휨강도 평가를 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 복부판세장비가 219와 156이며 수평보강재가 없는 경우와 설치한 경우의 총 4개 거더를 제작하였다. 실험으로부터 구해진 휨강도를 현행 AASHTO LRFD 기준과 Eurocode 3 기준과 비교하였다. 이로부터 AASHTO LRFD 기준은 저자들이 발표한 선행 논문에서 제시한 바와 같이 수평보강 거더의 휨강도를 크게 저평가하는 것이 입증되었으며, 선행 논문에서 제안한 휨강도 평가 방법은 보강 거더의 휨강도를 합리적으로 평가할 수 있음이 입증되었다.

  • 본 연구는 LB-Deck 플레이트 합성 거더교의 최적설계에 관한 것이다. LB-Deck 플레이트 합성교의 최적화에 대한 문제는 목적함수와 제약조건식으로 이루어지고, 목적함수로는 LB-Deck 플레이트 System이 포함된 콘크리트 바닥판과 강재 거더 비용의 합으로 전체비용함수를 구성하였으며, 제약조건식은 도로교 시방 규정을 기준으로 유도하였다. 최적설계에 관한 최적화 알고리즘은 SUMT기법을 사용하였으며, 지간장이 60m로 모두 같은 1경간, 2경간 및 3경간 LB-Deck 플레이트 합성 거더교와 일반적인 철근콘크리트 강재 합성교에 대하여 1등교로 최적설계하고, 이를 수치적으로 상호 비교하였다. 이렇게 함으로써 구조해석과 단면설계 및 최적설계를 동시에 수행하고, LB-Deck 플레이트의 거푸집 역할에 의한 시공성과 프리캐스트 부재에 의한 안정성 및 최적설계에 의한 경제성을 모두 확보할 수 있도록 하였다.

지간장에 따른 강판형 철도교의 피로피해도 평가 (Assessment of the Degree of Fatigue Damage in Steel Plate-Girder Railway Bridges According to Span Length)

  • Steel railway bridge gets vibration from moving load ; additionally, this kind of moving load is going to be a sufficient reason, which causes fatigue damage to steel railway bridge. Fatigue damage and stress curve were raised by moving load depends on span length in steel railway bridge. In other words, stress curve appears index regarding every axial load in short span, but self weight lets stress curve's change decrease in proportion to increasing span length. Thereby, we have studied that how the steel railway bridge appear fatigue damage in proportion to span length of steel railway bridge. Dynamic strain was measured in 4 steel plate-girder railway bridge during the trains was passing, which is located on the line of Kyoung-chun railway. And time history response analysis has been done in order to ensure actual survey. The results of this study show the decreased of the fatigue damage in steel railway bridge according to length of span. This paper ends is bases research of fatigue design in steel railway bridges according to span length.

Numerical study of steel box girder bridge diaphragms

  • Steel box girders have two webs and two flanges on top that are usually connected with shear connectors to the concrete deck and are also known as tub girders. The end diaphragms of such bridges comprise of a stiffened steel plate welded to the inside of the girder at each end. The diaphragms play a major role in transferring vertical and lateral loads to the bearings and substructure. A review of literature shows that the cyclic behavior of diaphragms under earthquake loading has not been studied previously. This paper uses a nonlinear finite element model to study the behavior of the end diaphragms under gravity and seismic loads. Different bearing device and stiffener configurations have been considered. Affected areas of the diaphragm are distinguished.

  • 판형복부판의 좌굴강도를 높이기 위하여 수평보강재나 수직보강재를 대는 방법이 많이 적용되고 있다. 경제적인 판형의 설계를 위하여 복부판의 두께를 얇게 하는 대신, 복부판의 전단강도를 높이기 위하여 수직보강재를 사용하게된다. 수직보강재가 있는 복부판의 극한전단강도의 산정에 관한 연구는 1960년 초반부터 활발하게 진행되어 왔고, 이 결과가 미국의 AASHTO 시방서(1973)와 영국의 British Standard(1983)에 처음 반영되어 현재에 이르고 있다. 수평보강재의 주 역할은 휨응력에 의한 복부판의 좌굴강도를 높이고 횡변위를 억제하는 것이지만, 부수적으로 전단강도를 증가시키는 효과가 있는 것으로 알려지고 있다. 하지만, 이에 대한 연구의 부족으로 인하여 수평보강재가 복부판의 극한전단강도에 미치는 영향이 실제 설계시 반영되지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실험을 통하여 수평보강재가 판형의 극한전단거동에 미치는 영향을 조사하고 이를 기존의 이론들과 비교 검토하였다.

  • An ultimate strength evaluation of the through plate girder bridge using nonlinear inelastic analysis is presented. In this method, separate member capacity checks after analysis are not required, because the stability and strength of the structural system and its component members can be rigorously treated in analysis. The method captures the inelastic redistribution of internal forces throughout a structural system, and allows an economic use of material for highly indeterminate steel bridges.

Flutter suppression of long-span suspension bridge with truss girder

  • Section model wind tunnel test is currently the main technique to investigate the flutter performance of long-span bridges. Further study about applying the wind tunnel test results to the aerodynamic optimization is still needed. Systematical parameters and test principle of the bridge section model are determined by using three long-span steel truss suspension bridges. The flutter critical wind at different attack angles is obtained through section model flutter test. Under the most unfavorable working condition, tests to investigate the effects that upper central stabilized plate, lower central stabilized plate and horizontal stabilized plate have on the flutter performance of the main beam were conducted. According to the test results, the optimal aerodynamic measure was chosen to meet the requirements of the bridge wind resistance in consideration of safety, economy and aesthetics. At last the credibility of the results is confirmed by full bridge aerodynamic elastic model test. That the flutter reduced wind speed of long-span steel truss suspension bridges stays approximately between 4 to 5 is concluded as a reference for the investigation of the flutter performance of future similar steel truss girder suspension bridges.

After-fracture redundancy in simple span two-girder steel bridge

  • An experimental study to evaluate a redundancy capacity in simple span two plate-girder bridges, which are generally classified as a non-redundant load path structure, has been performed under the condition that one of the two girders is seriously damaged. The bottom lateral bracing was selected as an experimental parameter and two 1/5-scale bridge specimens with and without bottom lateral bracing have been prepared. The loading tests were first performed on the intact specimens without cracked girder within elastic range. Thereafter, the ultimate loading tests were conducted on the damaged specimens with an induced crack at the center of a girder. The test results showed that the cross beams and concrete deck redistributed partly the applied load to the uncracked girder, but the lateral bracing system played a significant role of the load redistribution when a girder was damaged. The redundancy was evaluated based on the test results and an appropriate redundancy level was evaluated when the lateral bracing was provided in a seriously damaged simple span two-girder steel bridge.

HR Plate의 강박스거더 적용 연구 (Application of HR-Plate in Steel Box Girder)

  • 국내외적으로, 특히 중국에서 철강산업의 수요증대로 철판의 가격이 다른 재료에 비하여 급격하게 상승되고 있다. 열연 코일로부터 만들어지는 HR Plate는 후판에 비하여 가격이 저렴하다. 본 연구에서는 HR Plate의 재료특성을 검토하고, 강교에서 부부재와 주부재로서 HR Plate의 적용성을 연구하였다. 연구결과 일반 후판과 HR Plate는 두께 22mm까지 절단, 조립성, 용접 등의 특성에 있어서 차이가 없었다. 강박스교량의 부부재로서 사용율과 손실율은 각각 $10{\sim}15%,\;10{\sim}l5%$로 조사되었다.
