Design of Programming Language for Robot Control (로보트제어를 위한 프로그래밍 언어의 설계)

  • In this paper the programming language for Hero-1 robot is developed using Apple II micro computer. The language is composed of main monitor mode, editing mode, execution mode, and debugging mode. The main monitor mode is a main flow of the whole language system and controls starting and terminating procedures of operating the controller, and monitors the others. The editing mode has capability to make a user's maniqulation program. Trajectory planning algorithms(point-to-point motion and linear approximate motion)have been realized in the robot language, and in the case of point-to-point motion, inverse kinematics have been solved for the desired point.

  • In this paper we propose new large-update primal-dual interior point algorithms for $P_{\neq}({\kappa})$ linear complementarity problems(LCPs). New search directions and proximity measures are proposed based on a specific class of kernel functions, ${\psi}(t)={\frac{t^{p+1}-1}{p+1}}+{\frac{t^{-q}-1}{q}}$, q>0, $p{\in}[0,\;1]$, which are the generalized form of the ones in [3] and [12]. It is the first to use this class of kernel functions in the complexity analysis of interior point method(IPM) for $P_*({\kappa})$LCPs. We showed that if a strictly feasible starting point is available, then new large-update primal-dual interior point algorithms for $P_*({\kappa})$ LCPs have the best known complexity $O((1+2{\kappa}){\sqrt{2n}}(log2n)log{\frac{n}{\varepsilon}})$ when p=1 and $q=\frac{1}{2}(log2n)-1$.

  • In this paper, we applied FFT to PCB Images, cutting unnecessary singals and noise, moving the starting point to center of image and used rotaion transform. from the detected edge Hough Transform identify the length, but not the angle, so we matched PCB images with using rotation transform to identify length and angle. After rotation transform we employ Least Squared Method to exact stereo matching.

  • In this note, we define and compare some closures which behave somewhat like the radical closure. Using these closures as a starting point allows us to classify all semiprime closures on the nodal curve. Several examples provided show how these closures can differ significantly in the non-Noetherian setting.

  • Clutch torque control is the key to the ride comfort improvement of a vehicle equipped with AMT (automated manual transmission). For such control, the torque transfer starting point, known as the "kiss point," should be indicated or at least estimated to compensate for the clutch torque. The kiss point changes due to wear, high temperature, and fatigue; as such, it should be estimated while the vehicle is being driven. In this study, the method of kiss point active estimation for an AMT vehicle with a dry-type clutch was devised. The kiss point is learned while the engine is in an idle state and while the transmission is at a neutral gear position. It is determined when the input shaft of the transmission starts to rotate by slowly engaging the clutch. The noise of the shaft speed signal during the slow engagement process is filtered for accurate control. The kiss point estimation at various clutch engagement speeds was analyzed via a vehicle test.

THE ZERO-POINT OF THE ZODIAC OF THE HINDU ASTRONOMERS IN ANCIENT INDIA

  • In modern Astronomy the vernal equinoctial (VE) point is taken as the starting point for measuring celestial longitudes. Due to the precession of equinoxes, the above point is receding back along the ecliptic. As a result, the longitudes of fixed stars are increasing every year. In ancient India, the Hindu astronomers did not favour the idea of fixed stars changing their longitudes. In order to stabilize the zodiac, they had taken as the origin a point which is fixed on the ecliptic and as such is quite different from the VE point. This initial point being a fixed one, the longitude of stars measured from this origin remain invariable for all time. There was an epoch in the past when this initial point coincided with the VE point and thus the epoch may be called the zero-year. There is controversy over the determination of the zero-year. The reasons for the choice for the fixed zodiacal system by the Hindu astronomers as well as the epoch of zero-year have been found out on the basis of information available in various astronomical treatises of ancient India written in Sanskrit.

Development of Fracture Toughness Evaluation Method for Composite Materials by Non-Destructive Testing Method (비파괴검사법을 이용한 복합재료의 파괴인성 평가법 개발)

  • Fracture process of continuous fiber reinforced composites is very complex because various fracture mechanisms such as matrix cracking, debonding, delamination and fiber breaking occur simultaneously during crack growth. If fibers cause crack bridging during crack growth, the stable crack growth and unstable crack growth appear repeatedly. Therefore, it is very difficult to exactly determine tile starting point of crack growth and the fracture toughness at the critical crack length in composites. In this research, fracture toughness test for CFRP was accomplished by using acoustic emission(AE) and recording of tile fracture process in real time by video-microscope. The starting point of crack growth, pop-in point and the point of unstable crack growth can be exactly determined. Each fracture mechanism can be classified by analyzing the fracture process through AE and video-microscope. The more reliable method ior the fracture toughness measurement of composite materials was proposed by using the combination of R-curve method, AE and video microscope.

Representative Melodies Retrieval using Waveform and FFT Analysis of Audio (오디오의 파형과 FFT 분석을 이용한 대표 선율 검색)

  • Recently, we extract the representative melody of the music and index the music to reduce searching time at the content-based music retrieval system. The existing study has used MIDI data to extract a representative melody but it has a weak point that can use only MIDI data. Therefore, this paper proposes a representative melody retrieval method that can be use at all audio file format and uses digital signal processing. First, we use Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and find the tempo and node for the representative melody retrieval. And we measure the frequency of high value that appears from PCM Data of each node. The point which the high value is gathering most is the starting point of a representative melody and an eight node from the starting point is a representative melody section of the audio data. To verity the performance of the method, we chose a thousand of the song and did the experiment to extract a representative melody from the song. In result, the accuracy of the extractive representative melody was 79.5% among the 737 songs which was found tempo.
