Depending on the definition used, between 3% and 10% of live neonates are small for gestational age (SGA). The definition of SGA requires the following: (1) accurate knowledge of gestational age; (2) accurate measurements at birth of weight, length, and head circumference; (3) a cutoff, which has been variably set at the 10th percentile, 3rd percentile, or at less than 2 standard deviation from the mean, and (4) race and ethnicity-specific growth curve. Consensus statements are needed on the management of growth hormone therapy in SGA children, as well as treatment and long-term health outcomes such as impaired cognitive function, increased risk of adult cardiovascular disease, and type 2 diabetes.

for the kぉ mechanics analysis of a crack in a weld of dissimilar steels, residual stress analysis and fracture analysis must be performed simultaneously. The standard definition of the J-integral leads to a path dependent value in the presence of a residual stress field. And unlike cracks in homogeneous materials, a bimaterial interface crack always induces both opening and shearing modes of stress in the vicinity of the crack tip. Therefore, it is necessary to develope a path independent J-integral definition for a crack in a residual stress field generated by welding of dissimilar steels. This paper addresses the modification of the Rice-J-integral to produce a path independent J-integral when residual stresses due to welding of dissimilar steels and external forces are present. The residual stress problem is heated as an initial stain problem and the J-integral proposed for this class of problems is used And a program which can evaluate the 1-integral for a crack in a weld of dissimialr steels is developed using proposed J-integral definition.

본 논문에서는 HDTV(High Definition TV) 방송수신을 위한 DSP(Digital Signal Processor)기반의 HD급 비디오/오디오 디코더 시스템을 개발하고 그 성능을 확인하였다. DSP 플랫폼은 TI(Texas Instrument)사의 TMS320C6415를 대상으로 하였으며 TI의 DSP RTOS인 DSP/ BIOS를 이용하여 방송스트림인 TS(Transport Stream)을 분리하기 위한 TS Demuxer, MPEG-2 비디오 디코더 및 AC-3 오디오디코더 알고리즘을 통합하였으며, 각각의 알고리즘은 대상 DSP플랫폼인 TMS320C64x에 맞게 고정소수점 구조화 및 최적화를 실시하였다. 테스트를 위한 시스템은 스트리밍을 위한 호스트 PC와 PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect)버스를 통해 연결된 DSP보드로 구성하였으며 실제 HDTV당송용 스트림과 SD(Standard Definition)급 스트림을 이용하여 성능을 확인하였다.

A new high-definition stereoscopic PTV was constructed using two CCD cameras, stereoscopic photogrammetry based on a 30-PTV principle. The arrangement of the two cameras was based on angular position. The calibration of cameras and the pair-matching of the three-dimensional velocity vectors were based on Genetic Algorithm based 30-PTV technique. The constructed Stereoscopic PTV technique was tested on the standard images of the Impinging jet proposed by VSJ. The results on the turbulent properties of the jet obtained by the constructed system showed a good agreement with the original LES data.

The standard definition of an instantaneous temporal part cannot properly deal with cases involving time travel. This paper provides a new definition of an instantaneous temporal part by appealing to David Lewis's distinction between external time and personal time. The new definition avoids the problems because it does not allow more than one instantaneous temporal part of an object at each moment of its personal time. We argue that this new definition, combined with our new perdurantist semantic thesis, deals with cases of time travel successfully.

지금까지 영상 콘텐츠 제작 기술의 발전은 SD(Standard Definition)에서 시작하여 HD(High Definition)와 FHD(Full High Definition)를 거쳐, UHD(Ultra High Definition)에 이르기까지 화질을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. UHD 에 이르며 육안으로는 그 이상의 해상도로 제작된 콘텐츠와 구분하는 것이 힘들어졌으며, 이에 영상 콘텐츠 제작은 화질이 아닌 제한된 촬영 장비들로부터 촬영 방법, 영상 화각의 개선 작업 등으로 그 방향을 전환하고 있다. 이의 연장선 상에서 360 도 영상에 대한 기술개발이 활발히 이루어 지고 있다. 방송 분야에서는 360 도 영상의 실시간 스트리밍 적용 가능성이 모색되고 있는데, 이것이 가능 하려면 대량의 동영상 데이터를 실시간으로 스티칭하여 전달하는 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 고속 이미지 스티칭이 가능해질 경우 실시간 동영상 스티칭을 통해 방송 통신 분야에서의 서비스 향상에 기여할 것으로 보인다. 본 논문은 이미지의 edge 정보를 방향성을 가진 데이터로 분할하여 특징점을 추출하고, 이후 가중치를 통한 특징점 매칭으로 기존의 이미지 스티칭 방법 보다 빠른 속도의 알고리즘을 제안한다.

This study set out to define a communication environment between an ITS center and field device required to be introduced in the nation in order to guarantee the interoperability, compatibility, and global competitiveness of communication between them in the nation. It also aimed to establish technical and policy plans for its introduction, develop an emulator for information exchange, and apply VMS by way of showing an example, thus testing its validity. First, a standard environment for information exchange between an ITS center and field device required to be introduced in the nation was defined as a dual protocol between DATEX and SNMP. The study also proposed a message definition system including meta-attribution definition and OID introduction. The study then suggested technical and policy plans for its introduction including securing enough feasibility with feedback through a model project of standard introduction, offering education and promotions for the standard in advance, providing methods to introduce and systematically manage OID, developing a hardware standard proper for the information exchange standard, and setting up an integrated management system to introduce a dual protocol.

Recently, the precision ball screw becomes the essence of the high-precision industries and is playing a key role in the positioning devices. The standard and definition of pitch error in a precision ball screw is specified by KS, JIS or ISO. However, the method of measuring the pitch error is not concrete. In this study. laser measurement system(LMS) with a laser position transducer and a machine-tools is developed. In order to verify the stability of the LMS, several experiments with the standard ball screw is performed.

Lately extreme weather event is occurring because of the global warming. Especially disaster due to the extreme heat are increasing but the definition and the standard of the extreme heat is obscure until now. So this study established the extreme heat standard by using the number of daily deaths. As a result, considering the climate of the megalopolis using daily maximum heat index and daily maximum temperature was the best for the standard of the extreme heat. And it showed that extreme heat lasted for 2 days affects the death toll the most. The regional incidence of the extreme heat is highest at August and July, September and June is following.
