  • We processed seven years data of 142 IGS(International GNSS Service) stations were processed, which have been selected with an optimal network algorithm, to realize terrestrial reference system. To verify the result, a comparison with the ITRF2005 was given both in positions and velocities with transformation parameters estimation. The transformation parameters are within 4.3 mm in length, while the RMS(root mean square) difference of positions and velocities are 6.7 mm and 1.3 mm/yr in horizontal and 13.3 mm and 2.4 mm/yr in vertical, respectively, which represent good coincidences with ITRF2005. This research would help developing our own geodetic reference frame and may be applied for the global earth observations such as the global tectonics. A further improved TRF would be expected by applying various data processing strategies and with extension of data in number and observation period.

  • In this paper the breakdown and dielectric characteristics of purified transformer oil dissolved with $SF_6$ Gas are investigated with a few decade MHz frequency voltage. The results are as follows. 1) High frequency current is a approximately proportional to the square root of high frequency voltage in purified transformer oil. 2) As frequency increase breakdown voltage decrease inversely proportional to the square root of frequency and the high frequency breakdown voltage is lower about 35 percentage than that of AC 3) The breakdown voltage of high frequency has a little increase with the pressure increase of dissolved $SF_6$, Air and Ar Gas. 4) As voltage freguency increases the value of the dielectric loss tangent has increased almost exponentially and the dielectric constant ($\varepsilon$) has tended to decrease with a slope[0.6% MHz]. 5) When dissolved with $SF_6$ Gas, oil electrical characteristics has more increased about 25% than in Air or Ar gas with high voltage frequency.

  • The study purpose was to test the validity and reliability of the Korean version of the Revised Stress Appraisal Measure (RSAM) to assess stress appraisal in undergraduate students. Internal consistency reliability, construct and criterion validity were calculated using IBM SPSS Statistics 21 and AMOS 21 program. Survey data were collected from a convenience sample of 296 undergraduate students enrolled in five universities in G city and C area, South Korea. The Korean version of RSAM categorized into 5 factors explaining 68.4% of the total variance. The model of five subscales was validated by confirmatory factor analysis (p<.001, Goodness of Fit Index, Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index, Normed Fit Index, Comparative Fit Index >.08, Root Mean Square Error of Approximation=.056). In criterion validity, the scores for the scale were significantly correlated with the Perceived Stress Scale-Korean. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the 19 items was .73~.89. The Korean RSAM showed satisfactory construct and criterion validity and reliability. Thus it may be an appropriate instrument for measuring stress appraisal in Korean university students.

  • This laboratory study was carried out in order to produce fundamental data for analyzing salt movement and desalinization effects, using samples of silt loam soil collected in Gyehwado and Daeho reclaimed tidelans, and samples of silty clay loam soil collected in Kimie tideland. Desalinization experiments with gypsum treatment were performed to analyze changes of the hydraulicc conductivity with changes of the soil property and the salt concentration during the desalinization of reclaimed tideland soils by leaching through the subsufface drainage, and correlations between factors infl uencing the reclamation of salt affected soils were analyzed by the statistical method. The results were summarized as follows: 1. The reclaimed tideland soils used in this study were saline-sodic soils with the high exchangeable sodium percentage and the high electrical conductivity. 2. Changes of the hydraulic conductivity with the amount of leaching water and the leaching time elapsed were affected by the amount of gypsum except exchangeable sodium and clay contents. The regression equation between the depth of water leached per unit depth of soil (Dw / Ds : X) or the square root of the leaching time elapsed (T $^1$ $^2$ : X) and the relative hydraulic conductivity (HCr:Y) could be expressed in Y=a . bx. 3. The more exchangeable sodium and clay contents regardless of the amount of gypsum, the more the leaching time was required until a given volume of water was leached through the soil profile. The regression analysis showed that the relationship between the depth of water leached per unit depth of soil(Dw /Ds:X) and the square root of the leaching time elapsed(T$^1$$^2$ :Y) could be described by Y=a . Xb. 4. The hydraulic conductivity was influenced to a major degree by the salt concentration provided that the electrical conductivity was below 10 mmhos / cm during the desalinization of reclaimed tideland soils. The regression equation between the relative electrical conductivity ( ECr : X) and the relative hydraulic conductivity (HCr:Y) could be expressed in Y=a + b . X-$^1$. 5. In conclusion, the hydraulic conductivity, leaching requirements and the leaching time elapsed can be estimated when the salt concentration decreases to a certain level during the desalinization of reclaimed tidelands, and the results may be applied to the analysis of salt movement and desalinization effects.

  • UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle) can quickly produce orthoimage with high-spatial resolution and DSM(digital surface model) at low cost. However, vertical and horizontal positioning accuracy of orthoimage and DSM, which are obtained by UAV, are influenced by image processing techniques, quality of aerial photo, the number and position of GCPs(ground control points) and overlap in flight plan. In this study, effects of overlap and the number of GCPs are analyzed in orthoimage and DSM. Positioning accuracy are estimated based on RMSE(root mean square error) by using dataset of nine pairs. In the experiments, Overlaps and the number of GCPs have influence on horizontal and vertical accuracy of orthoimage and DSM.

  • The objectives of this study were to assess the rice yields and evaluate fertilizer reduction effect of reclaimed wastewater irrigation in paddy fields using the Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer (DSSAT) v4.5 model. The experimental plots were designed, which was located near the Suwon wastewater treatment plant in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. The rice yield, irrigation amount, irrigation water quality and soil data were monitored and collected between 2006 and 2009. The DSSAT model was calibrated and validated with observed data. The methods that were used to evaluate this model were the root mean square error (RMSE), normalized root mean square error (nRMSE), and index of agreement (d). The values of RMSE, nRMSE, and d ranged from 145 to $789\;kg\;ha^{-1}$, 3.0 to 13.3 %, and 0.90 to 0.95 for the calibration period, respectively and represented from 91 to $538\;kg\;ha^{-1}$, 2.0 to 10.4 %, 0.94 to 0.98 for the validation period, respectively. Overall, this model showed good agreement with observed data of rice yields irrigated with reclaimed wastewater. The fertilizer reduction effect in paddy field of reclaimed wastewater irrigation was assessed about 60 % in 2008 and 40 % in 2009.

  • Accuracy of registration between images acquired from various medical image modalities is one of the critical issues in radiation treatment planing. In this study, a method of accuracy evaluation of image registration using a homemade brain phantom was investigated. Chamfer matching of CT-MR and CT-SPECT imaging was applied for the multimodal image registration. The accuracy of image correlation was evaluated by comparing the center points of the inserted targets of the phantom. The three dimensional root-mean-square translation deviations of the CT-MR and CT-SPECT registration were 2.1${\pm}$0.8 mm and 2.8${\pm}$1.4 mm, respectively. The rotational errors were < 2$^{\circ}$ for the three orthogonal axes. These errors were within a reasonable margin compared with the previous phantom studies. A visual inspection of the superimposed CT-MR and CT- SPECT images also showed good matching results.

  • Purpose : This study investigates the effects on balanced ability and ankle joint muscle following balance pad and trampoline training periods in order to report a clinical directing about this matter. Methods : A total of nine members participated in a balance training program that put a balance pad and trampoline to use. Participants trained three times a week for thirty minutes in groups of six. Resting time was set for two minutes. EMG (median frequency and root mean square) was used to measure muscle activity at 3 weeks and 6 weeks, respectively. The tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius muscles were measured. Participants were measured with eyes open and closed. Results : The median frequency showed a significant difference according to the change in time in both muscles. Also, results showed a significant interaction between eyes open and closed in the gastrocnemius muscle. The root mean square only showed a significant difference according to the change in time in the gastrocnemius muscle. Conclusion : We suggest that the balance pad and trampoline training influence a decrease in the recruitment rate of slow twitch muscles through an improvement in balance ability; however, the training did not show a statistically significant difference with regards to eyes open and closed.

  • Recently an intelligent system is developed for the service what users want not a passive system which just answered user's request. This intelligent system is used for personalized recommendation system and representative techniques are content-based and collaborative filtering. In this study, we propose a prediction system which is based on the techniques of recommendation system using a collaborative filtering and a fuzzy system to solve the collaborative filtering problems. In order to verify the prediction system, we used the data that is user's rating about movies. We predicted the user's rating using this data. The accuracy of this prediction system is determined by computing the RMSE(root mean square error) of the system's prediction against the actual rating about the each movie and is compared with the existing system. Thus, this prediction system can be applied to base technology of recommendation system and also recommendation of multimedia such as music and books.

  • This paper analyzes the previous Anjok model of the Gayageum and describes a method to improve the frequency modeling based on previous model. In the previous work, relation between the fundamental frequency and Anjok's location on the body is assumed as an exponential function and these frequencies are integrated by a first-order leaky integrator. Finally, a parameter of the formula to calculate the fundamental frequency is obtained by applying integrated frequencies to the linear regression. This model shows 2.5 Hz absolute deviation on average and has maximum error 7.75 Hz for the low fundamental frequencies. In order to overcome this problem, this paper proposes that the Anjok's locations are grouped according to the rate of error increase and linear regression is applied to each group. To find the optimal parameter, the RMSE(Root Mean Square Error) between measured and calculated fundamental frequencies is used. The proposed model shows substantial reduction in errors, especially maximum three times.
