  • As a life cycle of product bas shortend, Rapid prototypiug has come into the spotlight to shortened the time of producint a prototype. But It followed in laminated directivity and of the prototype production which is decided the interference which Beccuase of invisible rough surface, some inferences have occured during an assembly hour. Consequently, This study on rapid prototyping has parameter to determine surface roughness and surface form precision of total shape. In order to improve Surface form precision, it can control parameters which are Laminate Height, Layer Hatch Overcue, Fill Cure Depth. In addition, we found the parameter which have a deep effect on surface roughness among various parameters, and then, tried to reduce the interference that can be occurred by surface roughness during assembly.

  • Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) has a poor prognosis and a strong association with exposure to asbestos. Although there are not generally accepted guidelines for treatment of MPM, recent reports suggest that multi modality therapy combining chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery can improve the survival of patients with MPM. Therefore exact staging is required to decide the best treatment option. However, it is well known that there are many difficulties in determining precise preoperative stage, predicting prognosis, and monitoring response to therapy with conventional imaging modalities such as CT and MRI in MPM. Recently PET with $^{18}F-FDG$ comes into the spotlight as an important staging method. There is increasing evidence that PET is superior to other conventional imaging modalities in diagnosis and staging of MPM. Particularly PET/CT improves the diagnostic and staging accuracy over PET or CT alone in MPM because it provides anatomic imaging data as well as functional information. PET and PET/CT are also useful for monitoring response to therapy and SUV is reported as a prognostic factor in MPM.

  • The public, mass transportation, monopoly, speediness and the long distance transportation of railway have realized by representative advantage from former days. But realization for railway that is declining by industry on the decline by the 1970s since the 1st World War has been changing recently newly. Development of a technology and fast change of industry environment exerted big effect about traffic. And IT and wave in 21C that is spoken for to environment changed together paradigm for railway. Now, is forecasted that period 'Renaissance of railway' may set on the near future because road embankment is getting into the spotlight again by the future alternative among transportation worldwide. In this paper, characteristic of railway to move altered how, and paradigms of been rising railway quality wish to examine what it is newly.

  • Many fashion designers now regard themselves as part of a visual medium that reveals their persona to the masses. They are willing to stay in the spotlight, which influences brand publicity. Designer-as-brand is an important marketing factor in regards to profits. This study combines a literary survey and case analysis of persona marketing as well as inquires on the persona of fashion designers drawing on the theory of persona. This study classifies the persona of fashion designers into four categories that proceed from what has been established above: freak, dandy, duo, and anonymity. The persona of fashion designers has attracted considerable attention over the past decade. This study provides useful information for the persona marketing of fashion designers.

  • Recently, high-rise building projects have been in the spotlight in South Korea. Curtain wall construction, as one of important operations in the high-rise building projects is composed of various, entangled and complex unit processes that require a systematic planning to prevent unexpected delays. A schedule simulation technique has been used for deriving more efficient planning and accurate performance measurement. However, the simulation technique has difficulty in collecting actual data and in applying data fluctuations during construction. Thus, this paper suggests a concept model of Modular Simulation Model(MSM) that overcomes such limitations of traditional simulation technique based on curtain wall operations.

  • In recent years, there has been an intensive research on the application of degradative activities of fungi for treatment of various non-degradable materials such as petroleum hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, dyes and so on. Chief of all, the fungal treatment technology is received the spotlight as one of the most promising alternatives to replace present methods for the treatment of dye wastewater. The present paper reviews the recent trend in research on the decolorization and biodegradation of dyes by various fungi, and improvements in bioreactors and bioprocesses involved the fungal treatment of dye wastewater. It also discusses alternatives and perspectives for the innovation of mycoremediation to treat dye wastewaters.

  • Recently, Plasma Display Panel(PDP) has been in the spotlight as one of the next generation flat-panel-display device. However, it has several drawbacks like the low contrast ratio and the low luminance. In this study, a new address waveform is suggested to improve the priming effect and contrast ratio at the address period in the Address Display period Separated(ADS) method. We modified waveform, instead of a conventional waveform, to an address period, for operating on the Plasma Display Panels, which used the conventional gas [He-Ne-Xe〕. When the ramp pulse is added to the address period at the sustain electrode, it is improved on the priming effect and contrast ratio.

  • Recently, research for the micro printing technology has begun to get into the spotlight. It is due to the superior price competitiveness to existent semi-conductor process for manufacturing some parts of display unit, electronic paper, RF-ID information device, and so on. This paper present screen printing process not for paper publication but for parts of electronics such as PDP wall, LCD CF, and so on. There are two major issues. The first one is how to get a fine and even line pattern. The other one is how to get the same patterns in large area. In this research, we present the design, equipment, and process control of screen printing in order to overcome these issues.

  • Graphene comes into the spotlight as an emergent device material on account of its high carrier mobility reflecting its massless Dirac fermion behavior. Chemical technique to control reversibly the carrier concentration of semiconducting graphene for the achievement of a large-area graphene device has been strongly required. Here we show that the adsorptions of a metal and a molecule can manipulate the carrier concentration of single-layer graphene, epitaxially grown on SiC, which was directly observed using angle-resolve photoemission spectroscopy. These results will shed light on the researches for the very large scale integration of a graphene device. Furthermore, the carrier concentration changes can be applied to a highly sensitive gas sensor or a detector for an specific binding between an antigen and an antibody.

  • Ion exchange membrane can transfer only cation or anion in electrically conductive fluids. Recent studies have revealed that such selective ion transport can initiate electroconvective instability, resulting vortical fluid motions on the membrane. This so-called electroconvective vortex (a.k.a. electroconvection (EC)) has been in the spotlight for enhancing an ion flux in electrochemical systems. However, EC under shear flow has not been investigated yet, although most related systems operate under pressure-driven flows. In this study, we present the direct visualization platform of EC under shear flow. On the transparent silicone rubber, microscale channels were fabricated between ion exchange membranes, while allowing microscopic visualization of fluid flow and ion concentration changes on the membranes. By using this platform, not only we visualize the existence of EC under shear flow, its unique characteristics are also identified: i) unidirectional vortex pattern, ii) its advection along the shear flow, and iii) shear-sheltering of EC vortices.
