  • Learning community is one of the important pillars of the education in knowledge-based society. How to encourage students' spontaneous participation to the learning community is one of the actual problems to solve for the revolution of the education scheme. In this paper we introduce a strategy to boost the activity of the learning community, which works in the on-line space. The keys for the on-line supporting system for the learning community are to have communication space, trading space and connection with industry. To support activities of each space, we provide an on-line web site which includes a community module, a knowledge market module and an industrial commentary module. Students can start their self-leading study in the communication space, and they can also practice skills for the knowledge management in the knowledge trading space. Through the connection space, they can learn more from the real world critics with help of industry.

  • I made a careful study of affective variables in foreign language learning Affective variables have not been adequately investigated in the study of second language acquisition. Egoism and inhibition are two egocentric factors which play important roles in foreign language learning. Three sociocultural variables. cultural factors, introversion / extroversion, and aggression may be keys to understanding the social nature of second language learning. And the emerging of cognition and affect in "cognitive styles", which vary within and among individuals, might account for varying degree of success in learning a second language. In the process of learning English. the students new to foreign language come to face the language barrier. though they express the deep interest and feel excited at the beginning stage. Of course, the several reasons can explain this fact. but more specially they can be explained in terms of such personal affective factors as age, aptitude, personality, and first of all, motivation. Also the socicultural factors between language and culture can be considered to the learner's aptitude toward the language. Affective factors of students are involved in personality. and personality and affective factors affect English learning. Affective variables of students affect the will to take part in English learning, and the rate of participation in English learning affect the fluency. If students feel inconvenience in English class, it is rarely that they run a risk. Students who do not run a risk in English class are short of spontaneous participation Consequently, it may have negative influence on the accuracy and the fluency of English. Therefore, teachers must be more influential in motivating students and specially attentive so that the students may not make the negative and inhibitive language learning attitude.

  • The government operates autonomous safety management activities in the regulated safety management in order to prevent industrial accidents. On the other side, companies are promoting safety management in the workplace, such as improving the safety level of the safety system, but the major reason for the accidents is safety ignorance in the event of big accidents. This study aims to improve the safety culture level by analyzing the difference in safety culture among six workplace sites in the manufacture of food products and drawing the improvement point. The main result is as follows. In order to enhance the safety level of the safety system, it is necessary to minimize the number of systems to be implemented, and to strengthen the small safety management activities that workers participate directly in the workforce, and the incentive policy for the promotion of the safety management activities should be coordinated by each group. Due to the high proportion of female workers, the proportion of female workers should be encouraged to actively participate in the safety of women, thereby improving safety culture levels and improving safety awareness through customized safety education. By learning work procedures through theory and practice, the level of safety culture should be increased. Employees voluntary safety participation activities should increase the level of mutual safety culture. Depending on spontaneous safety participation activities, one should promote safety culture enhancement activities by enhancing the safety level of the safety culture and enhance safety culture through safety awareness, and promote safety culture and procedures for improving safety culture.

  • This study is to investigate the present condition of waste disposal establishment and to analysis problems which could be produced at location selection formalities of waste disposal establishment. It proposed building methods of waste disposal establishment to lead spontaneous participation of local resident according to case analysis of waste disposal establishment. There are research results; i) Opposition of inhabitants was the majority of reason at the business abandonment or delay of waste disposal establishment. Therefore agreement formation course with local inhabitants is most important position. ii) Many estimate have been needed for waste disposal establishment, but support estimate of government was 30-50% that is really low compare with other environmental establishment. So that it need to increase of government estimate. iii) Location collection is carried out based on law and final collected location must be executed without delay of relation business as soon as possible. iv) Standard of location collection has to divide into small, middle and large size and to apply with same rule according to divided location. v) It must be change public subscription before and location selection after and maintain continuance of information offer to local inhabitants and offered information. vi) after building of waste disposal establishment for solving distrust of waste disposal establishment. • This qualitative case study focused on two types of livable, family-friendly communities and their activities. The landscaping, the community library, and the Dongbu Apartment Residents' Committee were examined in relationship to the everyday lives of the community's residents through observation and an in-depth interview. The experiences and thoughts of two representatives and four volunteers were described in detail. This study implies the importance of activity as well as a visible effort to improve quality of life. Further, it implies the necessity of a long-tenn perspective and commitment to developing a livable community base with strategies consistent with integrity and the values of everyday life. Above all, we researchers emphasize the most important factor of the livable community is the third sector; a public space based on everyday life located between a structurally separate work space and family space.

  • There is the meager level of applying computers to mathematics education. It is because the effective mathematics educational softwares and the various contents that make students' spontaneous participation through the interaction with computers are insufficient. As a solution to solve it, we design and implement the graphic component, graphic entities and function types that are supported in the component was identified through analyzing the mid/high school curriculum, using a simple script language to invoke the functionality of the component improves reusability and extendability. The component can be used to produce the mathematics educational softwares and contents easily that need the facility to draw various functions and geometric figures.

  • This narrative review introduces global trends in pharmacovigilance (PV) education for healthcare professionals and the status of PV education in Korea. Proactive participation of healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and nurses in reporting suspected adverse events is the main driving force for effective operation of the spontaneous adverse event reporting system database, which in turn facilitates early safety signal detection of otherwise unknown suspected adverse events. The World Health Organization recognizes PV education curriculum as a key aspect in promoting awareness of PV and adverse event reporting among healthcare professionals, and multiple studies have demonstrated that PV educational interventions for healthcare professionals have increased overall adverse event reporting. Considering the global trends in PV education, the curriculum in Korean universities still has room for improvement in promoting PV obligation among future healthcare professionals. Further research is needed to develop PV education curriculum. We suggest a three-step project for innovating PV education in Korea to meet the global PV educational standards: a survey to gauge current PV competencies among healthcare professionals, reform of current PV academic curriculum, and evaluation and fine-tuning of the reformed curriculum.
