초고속 주행환경에서의 종단경사 설계기준에 관한 기초연구 (Theoretical Review on the Vertical Geometric Design Standards for High-speed Roadway)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study theoretically reviews vertical grade deriving process in super high speed environment and compares overseas design criteria with Domestic Standardization also draws suitable vertical grade design criteria of high standard for Domestic Circumstances in Korea. METHODS : By researching domestic vehicle registration status, calculating typical vehicle, using Vissim which is traffic simulation program, Speed-distance curve of the vehicle is derived under each design speed condition. Through Speed-distance curve, estimating critical length of grade and considering critical length of grade, maximum longitudinal incline is proposed. RESULTS : The result of domestic vehicle registration status, the typical vehicle for deriving vertical grade is calculated based on gravity horsepower ratio 200 lb/hp. For calculating critical length of grade, according to change speed of uphill entry, speed-distance curve is derived by using Vissim. Critical length of grade is calculated based on design speed 20 km/h criteria which is point of retardation. Estimated critical length of grade is 808 m and based on this result, maximum longitudinal incline was confirmed in the design speed between 130km/h to 140km/h. CONCLUSIONS: The case of the typical vehicle(truck) which is gravity horsepower ratio 200 lb/hp, maximum longitudinal incline 2% is desirable at the super high speed environment in the design speed between 130km/h to 140km/h.

몇가지 채소류의 펀치특성 (Punch Properties of Some Vegetables)

  • 몇가지 채소류(오이, 무우, 마늘, 생강 및 감자)의 펀치특성을 살펴보기 위하여 식품물성 측정기로 일정하게 힘을 가하면서 힘-거리-시간 간의 관계를 살펴보고 성분함량 및 세포특성과의 관계를 살펴본 결과는 다음과 같다. 힘-거리 및 거리-시간 곡선 상에는 많은 변곡점 및 파괴점이 관찰되었으며, 이는 시료의 구성세포가 가해진 힘에 대해 저항 또는 항복할때 나타나는 현상으로 탐침속도가 느릴때 크고 분명하였다. 파괴점까지 힘-시간 및 거리-시간에 대한 회귀분석 결과 상관계수는 0.95이상이었다. 탐침이 시료를 관통하는 시간과 그때의 힘은 생강이 5.63초 및 4.88 N으로 컸고 오이가 4.15초 및 2.00 N으로 작았으며, 탐침속도가 빠를 수록 더 많은 파괴힘을 필요로 하였다. 상관관계 분석결과 세포가 클수록 수분함량이 많고 파괴거리가 커지며, 세포의 규칙성, 시료의 즙액, 조밀도와 힘-시간 간의 기울기는 작아지는 관계를 보였다. 비중이 클수록 파괴힘, 거리 및 시간은 작아졌으며, 거리-시간곡선의 기울기는 힘-시간곡선의 기울기와 반비례 관계가 있었다.

  • The latest system of GIS has been changing from 2 dimension to 3 dimension. According to the rapid growth of the fields linked to 3D GIS, 3D GIS has variously affected the public field, the national defense field, and the industrial field. This study estimated sight distance safety of curve section considering the environmental impact based on 3D GIS. Sight distance is calculated from the relation between road which keeps the three-dimension character and driver gaze, so it needs to consider both plane and vertical ior the accurate measuring. This study made analysis of the sight distance through considering the environmental impact with driving simulation of design speed 80km/h and running speed 60-120km/h.

지령 경로의 왜곡에 의한 고속가공 경로의 생성에 관한 연구 (A study on the Tool Path Generation of High-Speed Machining by the Distortion of Original Tool Path)

  • Recently may investigations have been studied on the high-speed machining by using machine tools. A CNC machine tool makes some tool path errors caused by software acceleration/deceleration. The faster a cutting feedrate is, the bigger the tool path errors are. Some known methods reduce these kinds of errors, but they make the total cutting time increased. This paper presents a feed-forward algorithm that can be generated by distorting the original tool path, and reduces the tool path errors and the total cutting time. The algorithm to generate a new tool path is represented as following; 1)calculating each distance of software acceleration/deceleration between two adjacent blocks, 2) estimating the distorted distance which is the adjacent-ratio-constant(k1, k2) multiply the distance of software acceleration/deceleration, 3) generating a 3-degree Bezier curve approximating the distorted tool path, 4) symmetrically transforming the Bezier curve about the intersection point between two blocks, and 5) connecting the transformed Bezier curve with the original tool path. The algorithm is applied to FANUC 0M. The study is to promote the high-precision machining and to reduce the total cutting time.

몇 가지 채소류의 압축거동 (Compressive Behavior of Some Vegetables)

  • 오이, 마늘, 생강, 감자 및 무의 압축특성을 규명하기 위하여 식품물성 측정기로 압축 힘, 거리 및 시간을 측정하고 이들의 상관관계를 살펴보았다. 힘-거리 및 거리-시간 곡선은 비교적 간단한 형태를 나타냈고 변곡점들이 잘 나타나지 않았다. 파괴점까지의 시간은 감자가 압축속도 60mm/min에서 11.79, 압축속도 120mm/min에서 6.16초로 가장 길었다. 마늘은 각각 9.65 및 4.55초로 적게 소요되었는데 이는 시료의 압축강도에 따른 차이 때문으로 생각된다. 파괴힘은 무와 감자는 압축속도별로 16.64∼20.00N으로 가장 컸으며, 파괴시에 시료는 탐침 밑에 뭉개어지는 거동을 보였다. 압축시험시 파괴점까지의 힘-시간과 거리-시간에 대한 회귀분석 결과 상관계수 값이 0.96이상이었으며, 시료간의 차이는 작았다. 힘-시간 곡선의 기울기는 오이와 마늘이 1.772∼3.385로 가장 켰으며, 감자가 각각 1.743 및 3.338로 작았으며, 거리-시간 곡선의 기울기와는 반비례 관계를 나타냈다.

  • In this paper, a new parametric curve interpolator is proposed based on a 3D(3-dimensional) NURBS curve. A free curve is generally divided into small linear segments or circular arcs in CNC machining. The method has caused to a command error, the limitation of machining speed, and the irregular machining surface. The proposed real-time 3D NURBS interpolator continuously generates a linear segment within the range of allowable acceleration/deceleration in the motion controller. Therefore, the algorithm calculates the curvature and the remained distance of a command curve for the smoothing machining. It is expected to attaining high speed and high precision machining in CNC Machine Tool.

  • 최근 GIS 시스템은 2차원에서 3차원으로 변환되고 있다. 3차원 GIS를 이용한 관련 분야가 급성장함에 따라 공공분야, 국방분야를 비롯한 일반산업에 이르기까지 점차적으로 다양화 되고 있다. 본 논문은 3차원 GIS기법으로 환경영향평가를 고려한 곡선부의 시거 안정성에 대한 분석가능성을 검토하였다. 시거는 입체성격을 지닌 도로 위를 입체성격의 운전자 시선과의 관계를 통해 결정하기 때문에 평면과 종단을 동시에 고려해야만 정확한 산정이 가능하다. 연구 결과 도로에 대한 설계속도 80km/h와 주행속도 60-120km/h까지 속도를 고려한 주행 시뮬레이션으로 시거 분석뿐만 아니라 기본적인 경관 주위 구조물 및 교량과의 조화, 안정성 평가뿐만 아니라 환경영향 평가가 가능할 것으로 보인다.

Continuous Tool-path Generation for High Speed Machining

  • A continuous tool-path, that is to cut continuously with the minimum number of cutter retractions during the cutting operations, is developed in order to minimise the fluctuation of cutting load and the possibility of chipping on the cutting edge in HSM (high-speed machining). This algorithm begins with the offset procedure along the boundary curve of the sculptured surface being machined. In the of offset procedure, the offset distance is determined such that the scallop height maintains a constant roughness to ensure higher levels of efficiency and quality in high-speed machining. Then, the continuous path is generated as a kind of the diagonal curve between the offset curves. This path strategy is able to connect to neighbor paths without cutter retractions. Therefore, the minimum tool retraction tool-path can be generated And, it allows the sculptured surface incorporating both steep and flat areas to be high-speed machined.

  • This paper contains studies which are Cruise speed control which is made by PID algorithm and automated steering system for avoiding the obstacle coming from the front which is using Fuzzy algorithm. This mobile car uses DC motor whose speed is detected by encoder. Ultrasonic Waves Sensor established in the front detects the obstacle and the curve. And the sensor established in the side detects the distance of the space of the road. If the sensor detects the obstacle or the curve, the car is controlled by using Fuzzy algorithm. The Fuzzy algorithm calculates the speed and steering angle by using the value which is obtained from sensor.

  • In the curving detection method by using an accelerometer, the ride comfort in the first car is worse than one in the others due to spend the time to calculate the tilting command and drive the tilting mechanism after entering in the curve. In order to enhance the ride comfort in the first car, the preditive curve detection method which predicts the distance from a train to the starting point of curve by using the GPS, Tachometer, Ground balise and position DB for track. In this study, we predicted and evaluated the ride comfort for predictive curve detection method in transient curves according to the shape and dimension of transient curve and the various driving speed. Also, we predicted the improvement of the ride comfort for predictive curve detection method by comparing with the result of the ride comfort for predictive curve detection method and for curve detection method using an accelerometer in the short transient curve.
