This study in the treatment of autistic horse therapy of children with disabilities that affect the perception of parents is to some extent how well treatment for a sense of purpose and a horse therapy was to evaluate the expectations. As parents of autistic children with disabilities a questionnaire study of 100 people was used as a research tool. Analysis of the frequency analysis method, Chi-square Analysis were analyzed by taking advantage of each. Parents interested in horse therapy and children who do not have the experience of riding. In addition, Parents who have children age 10-20 riding in the response was that there would be effects Understanding mainly ride horses in the horse therapy is physical exercise. And therapy and exercise that combines specific area of expertise, as is the way to help. In addition, behavior modification, and it is used as a way to improve. Expectations in the therapeutic horse therapy should be major(occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy). Horse therapy is suitable for individual therapy at least for 2-3 weeks and the Confederacy.
This study investigates the effect of GIS-integrated lessons on spatial thinking abilities and geographical skills using discourse analysis along with a comparative three-case case study method. A series of curricula were designed and implemented in an 8th grade classroom for a semester. The data collected consist of the dialogue transcripts of six consecutive GIS-integrated lessons. The transcripts were analyzed to identify the moves (speech acts) used by each student and to classify discourse content of spatial thinking and geographical skills. Based on three individual case studies, a cross-case study was performed to uncover any relationship between the phenomenon and the contexts. The empirical evidence from discourse analysis demonstrated that students were able to generate appropriate terms representative of spatial thinking and geographical skills although students appeared to possess primarily lower-order spatial abilities, followed by a moderate-level of spatial abilities. Considering that the unit was implemented in a biology class rather than a geography class the result reflected the fact that the student's spatial thinking and geographical skills were attributable to the GIS-integrated lessons. Thus, the results have a great implication for GIS-integrated lessons and geography education as an innovative tool for improving student's spatial thinking and geographical skills.

With the technological advances, the humans have made so much progress in the ease of living and now incorporating the use of sight, motion, sound, speech etc. for various application and software controls. In this paper, we have explored the project in which gestures plays a very significant role in the project. The topic of gesture control which has been researched a lot and is just getting evolved every day. We see the usage of computer vision in this project. The main objective that we achieved in this project is controlling the computer settings with hand gestures using computer vision. In this project we are creating a module which acts a volume controlling program in which we use hand gestures to control the computer system volume. We have included the use of OpenCV. This module is used in the implementation of hand gestures in computer controls. The module in execution uses the web camera of the computer to record the images or videos and then processes them to find the needed information and then based on the input, performs the action on the volume settings if that computer. The program has the functionality of increasing and decreasing the volume of the computer. The setup needed for the program execution is a web camera to record the input images and videos which will be given by the user. The program will perform gesture recognition with the help of OpenCV and python and its libraries and them it will recognize or identify the specified human gestures and use them to perform or carry out the changes in the device setting. The objective is to adjust the volume of a computer device without the need for physical interaction using a mouse or keyboard. OpenCV, a widely utilized tool for image processing and computer vision applications in this domain, enjoys extensive popularity. The OpenCV community consists of over 47,000 individuals, and as of a survey conducted in 2020, the estimated number of downloads exceeds 18 million.
Mentally disable children feel as failure because they have difficulty in restricted and undifferentiated communications with others. It also makes the counter-partner feel frustrated. Therefore, in the aspects of language acquirement and communication activities, it is essential to let the disable children learn and communicate voluntarily. Music provides the unthreatening and interesting stimulus as non-language communication vehicle. Musical experiences for mentally disable children's are multi-stimulating experiences that make a positive influence in speech and language development and development of variety of talents. There are many communication intervention and method to treat the mentally disable children. One of the most effective treatments for mentally disable children to acquire communication techniques by expressing the language more naturally and joyfully is the musical therapy. This study analyzes children's communication technique referring to response action and attempt action through video tape observation. Also, this study measured the receptive and expressive language by PRES(Preschool Receptive-Expressive Language Scale) as a test tool in order to examine the pre-post language ability for respective children as pre-post period of therapy activity. First result of this study showed that music therapy with song was effective for mentally disable children in enhancing the communication techniques centered with communication response and in attempt action by increasing the communication action incidence. Secondly, pre-post comparison test with PRES showed that the music therapy with song was effective on improvement the receptive and expressive language ability of 4 children.

Background and Objectives : Clinically, as a tool for voice assessment before and after the operation or the voice treatment, acoustic analysis is widely used. However, in clinical situations, acoustic parameters vary according to how the assessment is made. Thus, with voice disease patients as subjects, we are to investigate what influence intensity increase exerts on acoustic parameters and how to reduce variation according to the way of assessing. Material and Method : At the voice clinic of the department of otorhinolaryngology in Gangnam Severance Hospital, with 30 female voice-disease patients (40.6 years old on the average) and 23 male voice-disease patients (40.1 years old on the average) as subjects, using the Dr Speech vocal-assessment program, we statistically tested the significance of the difference in each of acoustic parameters between when the "Ah" vowel is produced with a normal voice and when the "Ah" vowel is produced with a loud voice. Results : Acoustic parameters that showed a statistically significant difference according to intensity increase were Jitter, SD F0, and NNE for females, and Jitter, SD F0, HNR, SNR, and NNE for males. Voice quality estimates showed a statistically significant difference according to intensity increase in female hoarse voice, female breathy voice, and male breathy voice. Conclusion : In this research, acoustic analysis, which is generally used for voice assessment before and after the operation or the voice treatment, showed a tendency that acoustic parameters became better under the influence of intensity increase except for the cases where a voice disease was severe. Thus, to raise the reliability of voice assessment, the range of intensity needs to be set up. This should be the topic for the future research.

Background and Objectives : Adductor type spasmodic dysphonia (ADSD) is neurogenic disorder and focal laryngeal dystonia, while muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) is caused by functional voice disorder. Both ADSD and MTD may be associated with excessive supraglottic contraction and compensation, resulting in a strained voice quality with spastic voice breaks. The aim of this study was to determine the utility of spectrogram analysis in the differentiation of ADSD from MTD. Materials and Methods : From 2015 through 2017, 17 patients of ADSD and 20 of MTD, underwent acoustic recording and phonatory function studies, were enrolled. Jitter (frequency perturbation), Shimmer (amplitude perturbation) were obtained using MDVP (Multi-dimensional Voice Program) and GRBAS scale was used for perceptual evaluation. The two speech therapist evaluated a wide band (11,250 Hz) spectrogram by blind test using 4 scales (0-3 point) for four spectral findings, abrupt voice breaks, irregular wide spaced vertical striations, well defined formants and high frequency spectral noise. Results : Jitter, Shimmer and GRBAS were not found different between two groups with no significant correlation (p>0.05). Abrupt voice breaks and irregular wide spaced vertical striations of ADSD were significantly higher than those of MTD with strong correlation (p<0.01). High frequency spectral noise of MTD were higher than those of ADSD with strong correlation (p<0.01). Well defined formants were not found different between two groups. Conclusion : The wide band spectrograms provided visual perceptual information can differentiate ADSD from MTD. Spectrogram analysis is a useful diagnostic tool for differentiating ADSD from MTD where perceptual analysis and clinical evaluation alone are insufficient.

This study reported a case study that showed educational usefulness of SAFMEDS (Say All Fast a Minute Every Day Shuffled) on the improvement of Fluency. The participants were 3 experts with special teacher and speech and pathology, who enrolled a graduate level course, Research in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The SAFMEDS strategy was employed as a study tool for the participants to acquire fluent verbal repertoires related to the key terminologies of Skinner's (1957) analysis of verbal behavior, list 60 pairs of terms. The participants developed 60 term flash cards which presented a target term on the front of the card, and its definition on the back. During the intervention, the participants were required to see the definition and says its term. The results of this study indicated that the SAFMEDS was effective to improve participants' fluent verbal repertoires in terms of both accuracy and fluency. The results of this study would be able to contribute for education professionals to improve certain target operant's accuracy and fluency.
In a virtual community, one can possess multiple identities and pretend to be different by creating self-identity in contrast with his or her actual self. Does false identity undermine the qualitative growth of a virtual community by reducing members' accountability? Or does it stimulate their contributive behaviors by ensuring freedom of speech? It is imperative to understand the effects of multi-identity considering the distinct properties of a virtual community in which people easily change their identities at little or no cost. To answer these questions, we adopted the concept of self-discrepancy from the social psychology theory rooted in the concept of the self and developed a theoretical model to predict quality of contribution of the individual member in virtual communities. Based on the self-discrepancy theory, we first identified two different domains of the self: (1) an "actual self" that consists of attributes that the person believes he or she currently possesses in real life and (2) a "cyber self" that consists of attributes the person believes he or she possesses in a virtual community. Next, we derived an index for two different types of self-discrepancy by using the differences between the actual and the cyber identities: Personal Self-discrepancy and Social Self-discrepancy. Personal Self-discrepancy reflects the degree of discrepancy between actual and cyber identity regarding a person's intelligence, education, and expertise. Social Self-discrepancy reflects the degree of discrepancy between actual and cyber identity regarding a person's morality, sociability, and accordance with social norms. Finally, we linked them with sense of virtual community, perceived privacy rights, and quality of contribution to examine how having a multi-identity influences an individual's psychological state and contributive behaviors in a virtual community. The results of the analysis based on 266 respondents showed that Social Self-discrepancy negatively influenced both the Sense of Virtual Community and Perceived Privacy Rights, while Personal Self-discrepancy negatively influenced only Perceived Privacy Rights, thereby resulting in reduced quality of contribution in virtual communities. Based on the results of this analysis, we can explain the dysfunctions of multi-identity in virtual communities. First, people who pretend to be different by engaging in socially undesirable behaviors under their alternative identities are more likely to suffer lower levels of psychological wellbeing and thus experience lower levels of sense of virtual community than others. Second, people do not perceive a high level of privacy rights reflecting catharsis, recovery, or autonomy, even though they create different selves and engage in socially undesirable behaviors in a virtual community. Third, people who pretend to be different persons in terms of their intelligence, education, or expertise also indirectly debase the quality of contribution by decreasing perceived privacy rights. The results suggest that virtual community managers should pay more attention to the negative influences exercised by multi-identity on the quality of contribution, thereby controlling the need to create alternative identities in virtual communities. We hope that more research will be conducted on this underexplored area of multi-identity and that our theoretical framework will serve as a useful conceptual tool for all endeavors.

Hearing impairment is one of the most common birth defects among infants. Significant bilateral hearing impairment have profound effects on speech and language development. But it can be prevented, if a hearing impairment is identified and treated in its early stage. ABR (auditory brainstem response) is useful screening tool for new born hearing test. However, the interpretation of conventional ABR should be done by a experienced audiologist and testing takes some time. Therefore, A-ABR(automated ABR) which detect ABR peak automatically have been developed recently. In contrast to A-ABR researches became active in overseas, there has been little study in Korea. In this study, we have developed a portable A-ABR system based on the results of our previous study. For the evaluation of the developed system, the clinical trials were performed on adults and infants. As a results, it showed good sensitivity (94.4%) and specificity (92.2%), and accuracy (93.0%) between clinical diagnosis and the developed A-ABR test.
