본 연구는 법원도서관이 법률 관련 전문서비스를 책임지는 국내 최고의 법률전문도서관으로 자리매김하는데 있어서 가장 중요한 구성요소이며 핵심역량 제고의 원천이 될 장서개발정책을 수립하기 위해 일반 이용자와 법률 관련 분야 전문가를 대상으로 인식조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 일반 이용자의 요구 기반 장서 수집 방향을 살펴보면, 장서 유형의 경우 도서, 전자자료, 비도서 순의 선호도를 고려해야 하며, 세부 정보원 유형과 관련해서 일반 이용자들은 단행본, 연속간행물 등 도서에 대한 선호가 높은 것을 반영하여 장서개발정책을 계획해야 할 것으로 보인다. 또한 비도서 부분에서는 오디오 보다 비디오 형태의 비도서자료를, 언어의 경우 국내서에 대한 선호도가 월등하게 높아 국내서 위주로 장서를 수집해야 할 것으로 보인다. 둘째, 전문가의 요구 기반 장서 수집 방향을 살펴보면, 전문가는 만족도가 대체적으로 낮게 나타나 이를 개선할 수 있는 장서개발정책이 수립되어야 할 것으로 보인다. 정보원 유형의 경우 전자자료, 도서, 비도서 순으로 선호도가 나타났으며, 전체 정보원 비율 구성 시, [도서] 단행본과 더불어 전자책, 멀티미디어자료, 전자저널 등 전자자료에 대한 수집량과 범위를 확대할 필요가 있다. 주제별 장서는 절차법류, 전문분야, 기본 실체법류, 법률총서 순으로 나타난 선호도를 기반으로 향후 장서 수집 방향을 이루어야 할 것이며, 또한 동일 도서에 대한 수집 시 인쇄보다 전자형태의 법률 자료 확보를 고려해야 한다. 또한 국내서 위주로 장서를 수집할 필요가 있으며, 이어 영미서, 일본서, 독일서 등의 우선순위로 수집 범위를 확대해야 할 것으로 보인다.

현 시대는 고령화 사회, 삶의 질에 대한 국민의 관심증대, 의료비 감소를 위한 국가의 관심 증대 등으로 건강정보에 대한 관심이 전반적으로 증가된 상황이다. 이에 문헌정보학계의 연구노력, 도서관계의 건강특화서비스 제공 노력, 그리고 국가차원에서의 노력이 이루어져 왔으나, 도서관계에서의 통합적 및 체계적으로 건강관련 정보를 제공하기 위한 정책이나 전략은 명확히 제시되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기 수행된 선행연구 및 정책연구, 그리고 사례조사를 통해서 도서관에서 건강정보를 통합적으로 제공할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 건강정보제공통합시스템 구축, 건강관련정보의 총체적 DB 구축, 건강특화 도서관 프로그램 개발 및 운영, 건강정보서비스 총괄지원센터 운영, 건강정보서비스관련 부처 및 기관 간 협력네트워크 구축을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 구체적인 내용은 이후 도서관이 우리나라 국민의 건강증진을 위해 서비스 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

In this study, the library ESG evaluation indicators specialized for libraries were developed, and based on which, a survey was conducted targeting the actual libraries to evaluate the ESG level of libraries. As a result of the study, first, among the ESG evaluation indicators, the indicators of the social field and the governance field are demonstrating high in which field of the library's ESG evaluation indicators will appear the highest. The social area's high score of 3.70 seems to be because the protection of users' rights, occupational safety, and contribution to society and the local community are very closely related to the original role of the library. Second, it may be seen that there is a difference between the questions in the corporate governance part, while the averages are the same. In the case of library's cooperation, it turned out that it was 3.94 in the necessity evaluation of the evaluation indicators, but it was lowered to 3.61 in the actual library situation evaluation. Meanwhile, in connection with the activities of the director of library and the board of directors, it may be seen that the index evaluation increased from 3.32 to 3.58 in the actual evaluation.

이 연구의 목적은 국내 대학도서관의 외국인 서비스를 개선하는 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 국내 대학 중 외국인 유학생 1,000명 이상인 도서관의 외국인 서비스 현황에 대해 분석하였고, K 대학교 도서관의 외국인 서비스 사례를 분석하였다. 국내 대학도서관의 외국인 서비스를 4개 유형으로 분류하여, 도서관의 다국어 홈페이지, 다국어 공지, 외국인 이용자 전담사서, 다국어 이용교육에 대한 현황을 살펴보았다. 또한 K대학교 도서관의 외국인 전담 사서를 통한 정보서비스, 외국인 이용자 교육, 외국인 전용공간, 외국인 대상 프로그램 실시 등의 사례를 분석하고 만족도 조사 및 외국인 유학생과 교직원의 인터뷰를 통한 운영효과를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과, 도서관의 외국인 서비스 개선 방안으로 '다국어 서비스 제공', '학습·연구지원 서비스 확대', '특성화 서비스 제공', '독서 및 문화 프로그램 지원 서비스'가 도출되었다. 이 연구는 실제적인 개선 방안으로 '전담사서 배치를 통한 다국어 서비스 제공', '외국인 맞춤형 이용자교육 실시', '외국인 특성화 서비스 개발', '도서관 비교과 프로그램 지원'을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 4차 산업혁명과 포스트 코로나 시대를 대비한 도로교통 분야의 특성화를 살려 도서관의 비전 및 핵심가치를 정립하고 지속적으로 성장할 수 있는 한국도로공사 도서관의 중장기 발전계획 수립을 위한 기초연구로, 한국도로공사 이용자를 대상으로 현재 도서관의 현황 및 만족도, 수요도 조사를 실시하고 이를 기반으로 향후 중장기 발전계획 방향을 제안하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 한국도로공사 도서관은 국가 도로교통 대표 전문도서관으로서 관련 자료의 망라적 수집·보존 역할과 더불어 학술 및 연구 활동 지원 도서관으로서 역할로 구성원의 즉각적인 정보 요구에 대응하기 위한 정보서비스 제공해야 한다. 둘째, 체계적인 장서개발 정책 수립이 필요하며, 도로교통 관련 세부 주제별 장서 수집이 필요하다. 셋째, 전반적인 서비스 개발이 필요하여, 한국도로공사 도서관 홈페이지 및 모바일 서비스를 개발해야 한다. 마지막으로 공간 재구성을 통한 공간 개선이 이루어져야 하며, 최신화 기술 도입을 통한 이용 편리성 확대가 필요하다.

이 연구는 우리나라 도서관 장애인서비스의 현재 수준을 알아보기 위하여 전국 공공도서관, 장애인도서관(점자 도서관)을 대상으로 현황을 조사 분석하였다. 설문조사는 공공도서관 768개관, 장애인도서관 36개관이며, 일반현황, 편의시설, 대체자료, 보조공학기기, 자료 및 정보서비스, 문화프로그램 6개 영역으로 구분하여 다양한 측면들을 조사 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 장애인서비스의 수준과 내용에서 도서관 운영주체, 내용적 측면, 지역에 따라 다양한 편차가 나타났다. 이 가운데 공공도서관 장애인자료실과 장애인코너에 전담직원이 있는 경우, 장애인 서비스의 질적 수준이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다.

This research has investigated the perceptions of subject specialization services and the opinions of students majoring in library and information science preparing for librarianship, librarians operating in the field, and library directors on the status and ways of nurturing subject specialization for librarians, among others. To this end, based on the results of previous research and the survey questionnaire analysis, we have presented a policy to train subject librarians. First, we have proposed a plan for systematizing the current educational system within the department of library and information science. We have also suggested ways to secure subject expertise based on curriculum management, minor programs, multi-major programs, and interdisciplinary major programs based on the standard curriculum model. Second, we have presented a subject specialization educational system for field librarians, and further suggested details for the development of an educational program that can help build subject expertise and the operation of educational methods as well as the personnel in charge of implementing the educational programs. Third, we have proposed institutionalization of the qualifications of the subject librarian where the qualification requirements have been organized considering academic background, major program, library career, and career experience in the subject specialization service, further suggesting the implementation and maintenance of the system.

Through the close examination of characteristics of adolescent, social institutions and its programs, and newly added and expanded library reference services. it is founded that new role and qualifications of young adult reference librarians are prerequisite subject. The following are the summary of new role and qualifications of specialized young adult reference librarianship. 1. Adequate training and education for the YA librarians is needed in order to have understanding of their characteristics (physiology, psychology, personality etc.). 2. Because of librarian's unique exposure to human relations and their personal awareness of other people's need, YA librarian should bring a person-centered managerial technique. 3. Librarianship may not have a clinical counseling function but to provide right answer or information, the librarian become counselor inescapably. 4. Librarians are not professionally trained to be experts on counseling in sex education. However, librarians can play an important role in educating YA by committing book selection, reader's advisory, referral services, library programming and staff development planning.

The Bavarian town of Regensburg was a library travel destination during the European Enlightenment. With at least 26 collections, the number and variety of its private, governmental, school, and religious libraries rivaled that of much larger cities and figured in the bibliographic travel accounts of Johann Keyssler, Christoph Nicolai, Carl Oelrichs, Filippo Argellati, Georg Zapf, Friedrich Hirsching, Adalbert Blumenschein, and many others. The first-hand descriptions of these repositories are unique primary sources for the study of library history. Having been accessible to researchers largely in published forms, many were designed to serve as bibliographic aids for informing scholars about the locations of specialized subject collections and some individual works. The journals, letters, guidebooks, and texts also reflected the evolving scholarly and scientific nature of their cultural period. Overall, this case study of Regensburg’s libraries illustrates the particular value of contemporary travel literature.

이 연구는 출생률의 감소와 대학정원의 증가로 인한 대학간의 치열한 학생확보 경쟁과 전문화되고 질적인 성장을 추구해야 하는 대학의 현실에서 예견되는 대학도서관의 재정적 어려움을 타개하기 위한 방안을 모색하기 위한 것이다. 우리나라와 미국의 대학발전기금과 대학도서관발전기금의 모집 실태와 방법과 모집 내역, University at Albany University of Kentucky, University of Cornell 등 미국대학의 실제 기금 모집 사례를 소개하고 캘리포니아주립대학 23개 캠퍼스의 기금모집 내용에 대한 평가내용을 소개하여, 향후 대학도 서관의 현안으로 등장할 기금모집의 토대를 마련하고자 한다.
