The study aims to find out the changing aspects of contemporary Korean libraries so called public in terms of their spatial configuration. In so doing, it analysed 14 recently built libraries by investigation of user's behavior. Interview and observation were conducted as a method of investigation. The method of analysis was based on statistics by mapping spatial data. As the result, it could be said that most users have a clear goal in Korea. In some libraries, the distinct characteristics of behavior show that users visit other functional rooms including functional rooms for the purpose. It could be said that the configuration of space in recently public libraries become more public as a place. In view of domestic affairs, in terms of users need, the reading room for personal study have features of the most private room and a static activity. so that the reading room separate from the other functional rooms in floor, but it adjoin other functional rooms in the horizontal configuration. so its location make offset a role of functional rooms can be interactive with each other, except reading room.
Background: This study purposed to analyze the relationship between spatial distribution of Diabetes prevalence rates and regional variables. Methods: The unit of analysis was administrative districts of city gun gu. Dependent variable was the age- and sex- adjusted diabetes prevalence rates and regional variables were selected to represent three aspects: demographic and socioeconomic factor, health and medical factor, and physical environment factor. Along with the traditional ordinary least square (OLS) regression analysis, geographically weighted regression (GWR) was applied for the spatial analysis. Results: Analysis results showed that age- and sex-adjusted diabetes prevalence rates were varied depending on regions. OLS regression showed that diabetes prevalence rates had significant relationships with percent of population over age 65 and financial independence rate. In GWR, the effects of regional variables were not consistent. These results provide information to health policy makers. Conclusion: Regional characteristics should be considered in allocating health resources and developing health related programs for the regional disease management.

Social welfare center is a representation agency in the local welfare system to provide the local residents with necessary services directly. The purpose of this study is to give the fundamental materials for space program in terms of planning a social welfare center by means of analyzing spatial arrangement of each section in senior welfare activity. The structure of the social welfare center should be adopted to the reality and the center of local should pay attention to enhance the quality of life in elderly. As the aspects of the programs, distinctive program should be designed. To do so, social welfare center should be adjusted to the local situation and get flexibility on operating in the local level. Each program in senior welfare activity should be connected in the spatial organization and various space should be provided in desire of elderly. So the section of dining room and medical rehabilitation is a places mostly for the elderly. Multipurpose space for the interest and leisure and the space of the senior education facility are provided in social welfare center.

This paper focuses on the spatial changes that create a three-dimensional or deep feeling on the surface of a scarf centering on the cube shape. Through this, consumers with various tastes were able to satisfy their image presentation. The cube form has simplicity and order and is likely to be used as a formative object. The cube shapes can be expressed in various forms through visual and perceptual spatial changes by presenting various shape changes based on the viewpoint of the two-dimensional silk surface, that is, by changing the eyes' position and orientation. Various visual theorists' discussions about cube-shaped visual changes were discussed. In addition, the three-dimensional spatial illusion caused by the shape and color of Victor Bazaarelli's cube was examined. The cube shape was printed silk surfaces to give a three-dimensional sense of space on a two-dimensional scarf design using the size change, the difference in the length of the line, and the color change. As such, the cube shape has infinite possibilities as a method that can express three-dimensional depth and space on the flat surface of a scarf. Therefore, it is hoped that this study will be applied to various aspects as the basic data for the scarf design that expresses the spatial changes in the form of cubes.

Because of the development of advanced construction technology, the inner environments of building become more and more complicated, which may result in many problems. The administer may forget where they put up the certain picture, and search for it all over the building, or they underestimate the number of the visitors, and find the situation is out of control, while the pedestrian may get lost, and after making their efforts, they found they turned back to the origin point again. So it is very necessary to establish an indoor spatial database. On one hand, it is able to assist administrator to manage the property and human flow inside the building, on the other hand it could help the pedestrian find the way easily especially when they are not familiar with the building or there is an emergency. This paper focused on how to create the indoor spatial database including both static database and moving objects database. The static database is built on the basis of 3D building models, and the moving objects database gets information from many kinds of cameras and sensors installed in the building. And at the same time the paper discussed the practical use of indoor spatial database mainly in three aspects including consistency management, building restructure, and pedestrian navigation.
To effectively use Building Information Modelling (BIM) dealing with semantic information including the entities of building components, the information about building components should be standardized. Like standardized modern buildings. in the past, Korean traditional houses were built according to strict procedures and formats. Therefore, if the Korean traditional house are modelled by using BIM,. not only the Korean traditional house of good quality will be built quickly and cheaply, but also spaces in the existing Korean traditional house will be easily analyzed. However, when analyzing spaces of the Korean traditional house using Space Syntax, some problems are caused in dividing outdoor space such as yard with unclear boundaries, unlike indoor space with clear boundaries surrounded by walls. These comes from the fact that researchers have subjectively divided a space in the house into convex spaces as units for Space Syntax analysis. Therefore, this study aims to develop an objective and rational spatial subdivision technique for Space Syntax analysis of a Korean traditional house modelled by using BIM. We could objectively and reasonably divide a Korean traditional house space into convex spaces by recognizing the building components in the house modelled in the form of Industry Foundation Classes(IFC). Depending on the connection of convex spaces allocated in the spatial subdivision technique, j-graph in Space Syntax could be drawn and the measurements of spatial configurations could be determinded. Through the developed technique, the social properties including the cultural and philosophical aspects of Korean people was identified by measuring the spatial configurations of Korean traditional house. The developed technique will serve as useful means to help architects to find an appropriate purpose of each space for sustainable architecture on the basis of the spatial and social relationships in buildings or urban systems.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the implementation of the karst infrastructure systems for the u-cave. IT based u-cave represents spatial information derived fields, such as geographical distribution of the cave boundaries, physical configuration of the cave locations and formation characteristics of the karst history. These three aspects relate to karst infrastructure systems, cave monitoring center and spatial database implementation. In terms of the IT based u-cave infrastructure implementation systems, the u-cave depends on IT contents and spatial features. uIT contents are strongly related to IT839 strategy due to the national agenda is "u-Korea". Cave should contribute to u-cave construction through the spatial analyses methods including USN, RFID, LiDAR, ELD, and GIS technologies. For these methods various cave functions will guide to u-cave's distribution, location, and characteristics of karst. The infrastructure consists of landforms and speleothem facilities, underground related facilities, environmental protection systems, and cave planning. These six units of the cave infrastructures have spatial databases that consist of spatial configuration, such as 4-D in order to draw the spatial distribution of the limestone and lava caves. IT based u-cave system infrastructure implementation should deal with IT convergence to generate fusion affects.

In recent years, our society, because of the arrival of a new paradigm according to the rapid changes in ICT has entered into future smart society and the ubiquitous era. So it can be a notable turning point in the city disaster prevention system with big data, aspects of the era change. Therefore, this study was to derive a desirable vision for the big data city disaster prevention informatization in terms of ICT city disaster prevention system development as preparedness for the city disaster by applying 'scenario planning' as a foresight method. Soon this study derived a successful city disaster prevention informatization strategy as preparedness for the city disaster, for example, in terms of water pollution and disaster prevention of Busan Ecodeltacity. It proposed the big data city disaster prevention informatization system with the use of the administrative aspects of information with spatial informatization as big data information. Also this study explored the future leadership strategy of the big data city disaster prevention informatization in smart society and smart eco-city. Eventually in 2030 to around, in order to still remain our city disaster prevention informatization as a leading ICT nation, this study suggested the following strategy. It is important to ready the advanced ubiquitous administrative spatial informatization and ICT disaster prevention system with big data in terms of water pollution and disaster prevention of Busan Ecodeltacity.

In recent years, our society, because of the arrival of a new paradigm according to the rapid changes in ICT has entered into future smart society and the ubiquitous era. So it can be a notable turning point in the marine disaster prevention system with big data, aspects of the era change. Therefore, this study was to derive a desirable vision for the big data marine disaster prevention informatization in terms of ICT maritime disaster prevention system development as preparedness for the maritime disaster by applying 'scenario planning' as a foresight method. Soon this study derived a successful marine disaster prevention informatization strategy as preparedness for the maritime disaster like Ferry Sewol Disaster. It proposed the big data marine disaster prevention informatization system with the use of the administrative aspects of information with spatial informatization as big data information. Also this study explored the future leadership strategy of the big data marine disaster prevention informatization in smart society. Modern society is diversified society and is under complicated situation as the boundary of each area has been disappeared. To understand and accept such complicated situation as widely as possible, it is required to understand interaction. of receiver with intertextual environmental arts as the structure of open text. This study examined interaction of environmental arts in terms of intertextual feature based on experience of receiver on combined element of different space and time, combination of genres. This is the concept of meaning personal experience or situation as receiver participates the process of completing art works, and set the fantasy, post-place and speciality of location and temporal-spatial expression method, as characteristics of intertextuality. Features of such experience elements are used as methodology of analyzing characteristics of each work. Feature of fantasy uses strategy of inducing spatial experience of receiver with dematerialization for post-place and expands the place where events occur with intervention of contingency and event situation. It suggests the spatial-temporal expression method as the features focusing on process and reflecting changes in spatial-temporal continuum and speciality of place emphasizing context of place. In conclusion, environmental arts needs to be deep rooted on complicated existence aspect of receiver beyond metaphysical dimension depending on presence and to accomplish conversion of awareness of supplying bisection of life from that place. By doing so, environmental arts can live textual life as it gets together with all other texts in terms of text dimension and creativity can be reborn as practical creativity in intertextuality rather than uniqueness. Such combination with other areas and acceptance of various aspects of receivers who see and experience this will result to creation of open works which can be create newly over and over again in multi-dimensional aspects.
