  • As construction projects become larger and more complex in the construction environment, and as the Building Information Model(BIM) is technically introduced, the demand for construction costs in units of space is increasing. Cost estimating of spacial element can reduce the error in cost prediction method based on cost of work type and to utilize the construction cost data for each space in the design phase. The purpose of this study is to extract spatial statements by utilizing spacial information of quantitative statements based on items that are common elements of the Quantity Take-Off and Bill of Quantity.

메모리 참조 공간 연관성을 이용한 효율적인 쉬어-왑 분해 볼륨렌더링 (Efficient Shear-warp Volume Rendering using Spacial Locality of Memory Access)

  • 쉬어-왑 분해 볼륨렌더링은 좋은 화질과 빠른 속도를 보이지만 대화형 분류 환경에서 메모리 참조 효율이 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 대화형 분류 환경에서 효율적인 렌더링을 수행하기 위해 객체와 이미지에 대한 메모리 참조 공간 연관성을 갖는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 쉬어-왑 분해에 회전을 추가한 확장 모델을 제안하여 객체와 이미지 모두에서 스캔라인 단위로 렌더링을 가능하게 한다. 또한 제안 모델이 가지고 있는 전후향 합성 혼란, 홀 발생, 계산 증가의 문제에 대한 원인을 제시하고 해결 방법을 보인다. 본 제안 모델은 렌더링 시 효율적 메모리 참조로 우수한 성능을 나타낸다.

  • Test in the development of vehicle consist of driving test and simulation test. The last one has many advantages. It can reduce time and cost during development, can overcome the spacial and environmental limitation, and can provides repeatabilities of similar experiments and various data. In these reason, the simulation test is used more for analysis and development of new vehicle. In this research the result of kinematic analysis on multi-axis simulator is compared with the simulated result using dynamic analysis program, ADAMS, and the maximum stress and strain are analyzed for the safety of link and specifications of optimal design using finite element method.

실시간 서지데이터베이스 평가방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Real-time Quality Evaluation Method of Bibliographic Database)

  • The conventional database evaluation method is carried out by the way in which the person in charge of each specialty database(DB manager) composes the evaluation sheets for corretionㆍrevision on the already-constructed database in a manual method and carries out the measurement and re-education of DB workers based upon it. As a result, that way consumes much time on career information and measurement works about DB workers, causing low time and cost efficiency and lack of systematic management of DB workers, resulting in becoming the hindrance factor of databases quality improvement. This research provides on-line, red-time results of measurements about the efficiency of DB production and DB workers by combining the static measurement with dynamic measurement by DB manager, both of which utilize the System. Therefore, the DB manager can contribute to the improvement of DB quality by determining the continuation of DB production by DB workers or carrying out the re-education of DB workers without being affected by time or spacial constraints.

  • Lifting plan in the large spacial structure is an important factor influencing the efficiency and economy of the construction process. The purpose of this study was deriving the requirements for lifting techniques as the basic research in the double spoke wheel roof structure construction. In the lift up erection method, management plan of the interference error in the column and outer-ring was needed that occur during lifting roof structure. In the bent erection method, material usage reduction plan was required by the structural design of the temporary bent. In the hybrid erection method, lifting plan was needed that minimizes weather condition and crane usage. All lifting techniques were required Value Engineering model for reduction of cost and construction period.

효율적인 건축디자인을 위한 가상현실을 활용한 공간경험연구 (Human Experience Using Virtual Reality for an Optimal Architectural Design)

  • Virtual reality is one of the key emerging technologies of the 21th century and it has been used in a variety of ways in the fields of architectural research. Virtual reality is presented as an ideal alternative for studying the interaction between space and humans because it provides a realistic spacial experience while allowing experimenters to control environmental variables at a low cost easily. It allowed us to deepen our knowledge of human spatial experience in the built environment. However, existing reviews do not include the following points: 1) previous review research has been focused on using virtual reality technology in construction and engineering, not spatial experience, 2) recently, some review researches started to study the interaction between space and humans in the built environment, however, they do not suggest specific concepts of spatial experience. The present review aims to examine the existing literature about measuring spatial experience using virtual reality in architectural design. The study conducted a systematic qualitative review that analyzes and synthesizes the evolving literature regarding design elements, methodology, and usability. The study concludes with an overall discussion and their potential for providing further directions for future research.

실사기반의 3차원 가상현실 제작을 위한 선택적 맵핑 방식의 빌보드 구현 (Implementation of Selective Mapping Billboard for Production of Image-based 3D Virtual Reality)

  • 본 연구는 가상현실 콘텐츠를 제작함에 있어서 공간정보 중심의 파노라마VR(Virtual Reality)과 객체정보 중심의 오브젝트 VR의 단점을 극복하고 3차원 가상현실 콘텐츠를 실사 이미지를 활용하여 효과적으로 제작할 수 있는 새로운 방안을 제시한다. 3차원 VR은 사용자에게 만족할만한 품질을 제공하지만 복잡한 물체에 대한 3차원 모델링 및 랜더링은 많은 비용이 소요된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문은 관찰자 시점에서 관측 가능한 이미지를 빌보드에 매핑하는 방식의 '개선된 빌보드'를 활용하여 3차원으로 모델링을 하지 않고도 실사 이미지를 활용하여 3차원 효과를 나타내는 것을 목표로 한다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 가상박물관을 구현하고, 3차원 가상공간에 실사 이미지를 이용한 전시물들을 배치하는 통합형 가상현실 콘텐츠를 제작하여 결과를 제시한다.

임대주택 커뮤니티시설의 거주자 이용현황 및 개선 요구 (Resident's Usage and needs for the improvement of Community Facilities in Public Rental Apartments)

  • Nowadays, public rental apartments' community facilities emphasize only their quantity aspect without considering residents' characteristics, leading their installation regulations to be based on only the number of households, which is problematic. As a result, in many cases, residents, after moving in, alter the facility usage or remodel the facilities for their use. Hereby, this study conducted focus group interviews with public rental apartments' residents as to find out space conditions of and improvement demands for the community facilities. Two public rental apartment complexes in Seoul and Gyeongi-do which were built after 2007 were selected for this study. As for the survey method, workshop panel was employed. Four people in each age class of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors were formed into one group, and a total of 40 people in 10 groups were surveyed. The survey was continuously conducted from February to March in 2009. The study findings can be summarized as follows. 1) Among community facilities, there were more satisfactory outdoor facilities than satisfactory indoor facilities. Residents expressed satisfaction with the facilities linked with natural environment. The causes of unsatisfactory facilities were mostly poor management. 2) The facilities demanded by the residents included ones relevant to study, exercise, and hobbies. As public rental apartments are resided mostly by low-income families, study and hobby activities bring them cost problems. Therefore, it is needed that the apartment complexes support diverse such activities 3) As for facilities demanded for usage alteration, a residents' meeting room accounted for the most popular opinions. As it was used only once a week, its usage was very low. It should be opened to the residents and allowed to be used in various ways. 4) As for demands of changing spatial characteristics, outdoor exercise facilities accounted for the most opinions. Although they were installed in most cases, they were damaged and poorly managed, therefore being in need of improvement in operation and management. In order to maximally utilize public rental apartments' community facilities, facility planning in consideration of various age groups from residents' viewpoint and sustainable systematic management are required.

위치기반 파노라마 영상 콘텐츠 서비스를 위한 geoData 취득 및 처리시스템 개발 (Development of geoData Aquisition System for Panoramic Image Contents Service based on Location)

  • 구글 어스, 스트리트 뷰, 다음 로드 뷰 서비스 등의 출현으로 최근 개인 삶과 밀접한 지리공간정보 및 위치기반 영상정보 등의 위치기반 콘텐츠(geoContents)에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 도로 시설물 관리, 지도갱신 분야에서 활용되는 모바일매핑시스템으로는 이러한 콘텐츠를 확보하기 위한 비용과 시간 측면에서 이러한 수요를 만족시키기에는 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 3대의 GPS를 이용하여 위치, 자세, 방향 및 시간을 포함하는 위치정보와 6대의 카메라를 이용하여 영상정보를 취득한 후 이들 정보들을 동기화시켜 파노라마영상을 생성할 수 있는 geoData 취득 및 처리시스템을 기술한다. 개발한 시스템을 통한 geoData 취득과 위치, 자세, 방향정보를 포함한 파노라마 영상인 geoContents 저작 방법은 다양한 위치기반 콘텐츠의 구축과 서비스 분야에서 효율적인 수단으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

차량주행 환경에서 다중라이다센서를 이용한 효과적인 검출 시스템 개발 (A Development of Effective Object Detection System Using Multi-Device LiDAR Sensor in Vehicle Driving Environment)

  • 자동차의 자율주행 기술이 확대되면서 '눈'의 역할을 하는 센서가 점차 중요시되고 있다. 최근 차량에 장착되는 라이다 센서는 채널이 많을수록 피사체에 반사된 신호 또한 풍부해짐에 따라 장애물, 지형, 차량 등 주변 환경 탐색의 정확도가 높아진다. 하지만, 라이다 센서는 채널 증가에 따른 열배 이상 가격의 차이가 있으며, 이러한 가격적인 문제로 보급형 차량보다는 고가의 차량에만 부분적으로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 저 가격의 16 채널의 라이다를 복수개로 구성하여 동시에 신호를 수집 처리하여 하나의 입체공간으로 융합하고 이를 나타낼 수 있게 함으로써 64 채널의 라이더와 같은 효과를 나타낼 수 있게 하였다. 이를 통해서 차량 심미성의 개선과 함께 보급화를 위한 기반을 제공할 수 있다.
