Elevated linear parks have the potential to support the ecological stability, city amenity, cultural opportunity, and health benefits of urban dwellers; these are increasingly becoming an integral part of the urban infrastructure. Due to structural limitations in space, linear parks need to be planned to increase the value of green space. This study was aimed at advancing urban planning techniques for increasing the value of elevated linear parks, by comparing the Seoullo7017 with the Promenade $plant{\acute{e}}e$ and the Highline. Planning characteristics of these green spaces were analyzed from the perspectives of physical planning factors, amenity values for users, and management systems. Field surveys and virtual tools were used to investigate the current characteristics of these parks, in addition to the literature survey. From the analysis of planning factors, amenity values, and management in the three linear parks, following important recommendations were made in order to promote the values of these parks: (a) diversify planting design for increasing the diversity of green space in a narrow area; (b) bring in various forms of amenities to promote the quality of users' experience; and (c) establish community-based management systems for enhancing regional competitiveness and profit sharing in urban regeneration projects.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the tendency of the current diversified apartment planning. This study was examined by 13 newspapers from January 1th 1995 to 30th 1997. The major findings in this study were summarized as follows: 1. The strategy of major apartment construction co. was diversified into space planning interior image facilities and utilities and outdoor space design. 2. The trend of space planning was diversified into apartment for 3 generation apartment with its own inside gardeen apartment with kitchen facing south multi-story apartment, apartment with round shape room irregular shaped apartment 3. The trend of interior image was diversified into Korean style natural style casual elegantstyle modern style and classical style.

In this paper, we propose an efficient collision-free path planning method of two cooperating robot manipulators grasping a common object rigidly. For given two robots and an object, the procedure is described which constructs the reduced dimensional configuration space by the kinematic analysis of two cooperating robot manipulators. A path planning algorithm without explicit representation of configuration obstacles is also described. The primary steps of the algorithm is as follows. First, we compute a graph which represents the skeleton of the free configuration space. Second, a connection between an initial and a goal configuration to the graph is searched to find a collision-free path.

The purpose of this study is to provide the information of street planning for revitalization oft the community in urban detached housing area. This study was accomplished by observations and actual survey, and suggested several street planning methods; exclusion of the passing through car and control of the resident's car by one-way passage, protection of the parking area to inside individual lot by the ‘Break down Fence’ campaign in Daegu, and provide the common space for social contact and community According to this program, the public street space cant be changed into the semi-private space and the semi-public space as common territory.

본 연구는 여의도 한강공원에서 계획과 여가 활동이 만들어낸 공간변화 양상을 알아보고자 한다. 계획, 활동과 공간변화의 관계양상은 기든스의 구조화 이론을 통해 설명하였다. 연구 방법으로는 한강공원 계획서, 도면, 위성자료를 해석하고, 신문기사 자료를 통해 1차적으로 한강의 공간변화과정과 이유를 도출하고 대표적인 여가 활동과 시대상황을 통해 흐름을 확인하였다. 2차적으로 이론 적용을 통해 공간변화의 구조화 모식도를 도출해 냈다. 계획과 여가 활동으로 인한 여의도 한강공원의 공간변화 흐름은 다음과 같다. 1970년대 국회의사당과 아파트 생활환경 때문에 둔치의 체육 공간 필요로 여가 공간이 처음 만들어지고 전체 여가 활동 공간 구상이 있었지만 실현되지 않았다. 1980년대는 종합개발을 통해서 여가 활동공간이 계획으로 마련되었으며, 스포츠와 수상레저, 생활 체육 공간이 실제로 지어졌지만 이용 환경이 슬럼화 되었다. 1990년대는 법제도와 공간 규율, 공간 정비를 수정하면서 다양한 여가 활동이 공간화되었고, 1990년대 후반부터는 계획에 생태적 이슈가 나타났다. 2000년대는 두 번의 계획을 통해서 전반적인 공간 정비가 있었다. 문화, 생태 이슈로 계획이 만들어졌고, 실제 여가 공간은 대규모 활동을 따라 정비가 이루어졌다. 구조화 이론을 적용하여 상호작용, 양식, 구조화에 해당하는 요소를 여의도 한강공원의 여건에 맞추어 공간변화 구조화 과정을 도출하였다. 한강 공간변화 구조는 계획적으로 보았을 때 종합계획, 개별 공간변화가 미치는 영향이 비슷하게 나타났고, 공간의 흐름 면을 봤을 때는 종합계획은 관행적인 공공의 사업, 대규모의 활동 변화에 영향을 받았고, 개별 공간변화는 이용자의 활동과 의견에 많은 영향을 받았지만, 공간의 변화 결과에는 공공과 이용자 모두의 영향이 있었다. 한강의 여가 공간은 구조화이론에서 이야기하는 행위자로 인한 구조화가 반복해서 일어나 변화하고 있는 사회적 공간으로 해석할 수 있다. 본 연구는 한강 공원의 여가 활동 공간변화를 공간 계획 다양한 층위와 활동, 주체 영향 관계를 통해서 살펴보았다. 본 연구 내용을 통해서 여가 활동 공간을 계획하는데 한강 공원의 특성을 이해할 수 있는 자료로서 활용할 수 있는 연구가 되도록 하였다.

This paper proposes an adaptive RRT (Rapidly-exploring Random Tree) for path planning of high DOF multibody robotic system. For an efficient path planning in high-dimensional configuration space, the proposed algorithm adaptively selects the robot bodies depending on the complexity of path planning. Then, the RRT grows only using the DOFs corresponding with the selected bodies. Since the RRT is extended in the configuration space with adaptive dimensionality, the RRT can grow in the lower dimensional configuration space. Thus the adaptive RRT method executes a faster path planning and smaller DOF for a robot. We implement our algorithm for path planning of 19 DOF robot, AMIRO. The results from our simulations show that the adaptive RRT-based path planner is more efficient than the basic RRT-based path planner.

This study proposes the basic data on the waiting space in general hospital through to analysis the relationship between behaviors and seat arrangements in the waiting space. Analyzing the relationship between physical conditions and activities in the waiting space, this study is to awaken user to the influence environment, to suggest the planning guideline for the waiting space in the general hospital. Therefore, by observation over the waiting space in the general hospital, the realities, theories and problems can be found in accordance with the hospital planning throughly.

The purpose of this study is to analyze consumer's lifestyle, needs and preferences and design trends for planning of the future apartment interior design. Recently, social change such as computerization, industrialization, pluralism and globalization has been braught lots of changes to modern housing spaces. The meaning of ‘Family’ and ‘Residence’ has been diversified by various life-style of modern family. Therefore, the new concept of residence is needed to change for the future housing plans and satisfy their sophisticated needs and preferences considering modern family's lifestyle and life-span. This research was conducted through the questionaire-survey, taste style survey by show card, and focus group interview(F.G.I) for investigating consumer's life style and tastes. Through this research, four-types of consumer's lifestyle were classified by analyzing data and special spaces such as family-room, media room, interior planted-space, and men's room were needed to consider interior space planning. This study shows that the planning of storage space, flexible space, livingroom and multi-used space will be more important in apartment interior space.

Using effective light, which is physical experiences by its control and manner of adaption, and make human to recognize the shape and give the meaning, so that approaching against perception experimental method which plays a role in basic clue, is regarded crucial highly among human sensory organ. this study consider the perception conception, its feature and necessity against eyes' adaption among human perception experimental experiences which has been discussed indifferently for inner space. Also, we looked over the problems among actual examples of inner spaces which should be considered as to adaption conception of human beings. Furthermore, this study aims at basic studying, which searching for enable to adapt in case of planning for inner space planning and distributing the quality evaluation by using effective light.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the outdoor space of the recent built apartment complex in Ulsan and to provide the basic information for planning and apartment outdoor space. Multiple methods were utilized such as questionnaire, observation, behavior-mapping, and photography. The sample consisted of 382 residents living in four apartment complex in Ulsan. data were analyzed by frequency and percentage using SPSS PC+. The observation was performed in seven outdoor space, i.e., green area, road area, exercise area, play area, parking area, and approach area. According to the findings of this study, residents did not actively involve in outdoor activities and seldom use the outdoor space. Various changes and erosions were observed as a trace, especially near fence and grass area because of unplanned location of entrances. Finally this study suggested several planning guidelines for outdoor space in apartment complex.
