친사회적 학교 커뮤니티 공간계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Community Space Planning for Pro-social Schools)

  • 본 연구는 학교 내 커뮤니티 형성과정과 그 특성을 밝혀 미래 학교공간이 지향해야할 친사회적 지속가능 환경 구축 및 공간 구성에 필요한 기초자료를 제시하기 위한 것으로 학생들의 휴게 시간을 보다 실증적으로 조사하여 휴게 시간에 대한 새로운 인식과 더불어 학교 내 학생들의 커뮤니티 형성 공간에 대한 이해를 돕고자 수행되었다. 이에 학교 내 휴게시간 커뮤니티 형성과정과 그 특성을 밝히기 위하여 연구자가 근무하는 지역의 가장 최근 개교한 미래형 고등학교를 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 학교 내 커뮤니티 공간 조성에 대한 분석 결과 학교 내 사회적 소통 및 상호작용 촉진을 위한 커뮤니티 공간에 대해서 성별, 학년별 차이 없이 모두 필요하다는 의견이 많았고, 커뮤니티 공간으로 가장 적합하다고 생각되는 공간으로는 홀 알코브 공간, 복도 알코브 공간, 교실인접 소규모 공간, 다목적 계단 등으로 나타났다. 또한 학생들이 가장 원하는 커뮤니티 공간으로는 홀, 복도 알코브 공간으로 각각 만남, 소통, 휴식, 사회적 교류 등 소통 활동을 가장 하고 싶어 하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction and recognition for applying to component of Emotion of the elementary school space with characteristics of child development. For the accomplishment of the study is to deduce types of emotional component and characteristics of child development based on literature and advanced research related to 'Child development and behavior', 'The elementary school space', and concept of 'children' and 'emotion'. In addition, The level of recognition of teachers and students about creation plan of school space by types of emotion component and preference and relationships of students on emotion component of elementary school space is investigated. The space environment has great influence in childhood going through big changes in physical, cognitive, emotional and social ways, Providing space environment built with emotion component such as 'affordance', 'diversity', 'territoriality', and 'relationships' considering characteristics of child development is most important of all, In particular, when building indoor space in elementary schools where students going through various development stages live, providing friendly environments for emotion of children put top priority on students in the decision-making process and guaranteed the participation of students is expected.

학교 외부공간의 자연적 감시 취약지역 분석기법에 관한 연구 (A Research on the Analysis Method of School Exterior Space Lacking Natural Surveillance)

  • The number of school crime has grown continuously for last ten years and its intensity also has reached to serious condition. The concept of CPTED(Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) needs to be focused for improving school environment regarding this context. The exterior space of school environment is variously exposed to school crimes committed by colleague students and also intruders. From the perspective of school CPTED, Natural surveillance as one of the practical strategies requires the micro-scale analysis which clarifies local visibility at each different school exterior space. Thus, the purpose of this research is to develop the analysis method clarifying visibility condition at exterior space of school environment, which supports finding the condition of natural surveillance. The programmed analysis algorithm generated quantitative results clarifying Degree for static visibility and Clustering Coefficient for user tracking visibility. The result of this study produced the analysis method feasible to clarify weak natural surveillance conditions at school exterior spaces. Also, it is expected that the developed analysis method will be used to improve the layout of school exterior space from the perspective of CPTED.

병렬형(竝列型) 교사동(校舍棟)의 외부공간(外部空間) 이용실태(利用實態)에 관한 조사연구(調査硏究) - 충북지역(忠北地域) 공립초등학교(公立初等學校)를 중심(中心)으로 - (The Using Condition of Outdoor Space in the Parallel Types focused on Elementary School Buildings of Chungbuk Province in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the using condition and requirement for outdoor space between the parallel types of elementary school buildings focused on Chungbuk province in Korea. Consequently, we investigated the actual conditions of students and teachers, using conditions of outdoor space between school buildings. The summary of outdoor space can be given below. 1) In the using condition of outdoor spaces, most of them have path & covered walks, garden, playground and soon. The distances between neighboring building fixed, the use and quality of outdoor space is differently to spatial configuration of school buildings. For example, garden functions as itself in case of D/H>3, but the other space to observe in D/H>3. 2) In the requirements of outdoor spaces, the amount of scatter number of classmates and teachers is wide. The favoring outdoor space is the woods to take a rest by oneself, the demanding outdoor space is almost a resting place like a school store in case of classmates and the natural facilities like ponds garden pagora in teachers.

  • The purpose of this study is to make planning factors for outdoor space in elementary school site, with analyzation focusing on a Japanese elementary school examples. We evaluated the planning factors which encourage the development of children’s behaviors from quality of space. And we can get the important points as planning factor for school site as follows: 1) The base point of zoning is school building, building entrance, entrance of site and track 2) The importance of linked space plan with inside of site and surrounding environment 3) Preservation linked system of space in school site for linked pattern of child’s behavior.

  • Camera for QUasars in EArly uNiverse (CQUEAN) is an optical CCD camera system made by Center for Exploration of the Origin of the Universe (CEOU). CQUEAN is developed for follow-up observation of red sources such as high-redshift quasar candidates ($z{\geq}5$), gamma-ray bursts (GRB), brown dwarfs and young stellar objects. The CQUEAN is composed of a science camera with deep-depletion CCD chip which is sensitive at around $1{\mu}m$, a set of custom-made wide-band filters for detection of quasar candidates at z~5, and a guide camera. A focal reducer was developed to secure $4.8^{\prime}{\times}4.8^{\prime}$ field of view, and an in-house user software for efficient data acquisition. CQUEAN was attached to 2.1m Otto Struve Telescope in McDonald Observatory, USA, in August 2010. About 1000 quasar candidates including 3 confirmed with follow-up spectroscopy, have been observed so far, and many high-z galaxy cluster candidates, GRBs and supernovae were also observed. And monitoring of HBC 722, a young stellar object, is under way since 2011. Further enhancement of CQUEAN including the introduction of narrow-band filters is planned.

학교공간혁신의 교육효과 분석을 위한 조사도구 개발 (Development of a Research Tool to Analyze the Educational Effect of School Space Innovation)

  • 본 연구는 최근 국가 수준에서 대규모로 추진되고 있는 학교공간혁신 사업의 교육적 효과를 조사·분석하기 위한 도구를 개발하기 위해 수행되었다. 학교공간혁신의 교육효과를 분석하기 위해서는 학교공간혁신으로 변화되는 공간의 구조에 대한 분석이 우선 가능해야 하며, 공간의 변화에 따라 수반되는 교육의 변화 즉, 학교교육 및 학교생활, 교육적 성과 등에 대한 조사·분석이 가능해야 하며 이를 위한 사용자 설문조사 도구를 개발하였다. 본 연구를 통한 설문조사 도구는 학교공간혁신 사업에서 사전기획 단계에서의 사전조사 그리고 공간혁신의 교육적 효과 조사·분석을 위한 사후평가 도구로 활용 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • 학교도서관에서 공간의 의미는 학교도서관 이용자가 환경에 영향을 많이 받는 학생이라는 점을 고려할 때 여타 도서관에 비해 크다고 할 수 있다. 더구나, 공간의 규모가 충분하지 않은 국내 학교도서관의 현실을 고려할 때 공간의 효과적인 활용은 필수적이다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 통합적 서비스 공간을 지향하는 Information Commons 개념의 도입을 통해 학교도서관 공간의 효과적인 활용방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 학교도서관은 도서관내 필수시설을 최소화하고 유연성 및 호환성을 확보함으로써 공간을 다양한 용도로 활용하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 인간중심 디자인과 개방성을 지향함으로써 학교 내 커뮤니티와 수업의 중심 기능을 수행할 필요가 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

고등학교 공용공간의 패러다임 변화 분석 - 우수시설학교로 지정된 고등학교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Analysis of Paradigm Change in Common Space of High School - Focused on High Schools selected as Excellent School Facilities -)

  • This study analyzes the common space of the high schools before and after the decade of 2009 which starts Subject-centered clusters school plan, and proposes the direction of common space planning for the future. Based on the floor plans of high schools awarded as excellent school facilities every year, first, types and numbers of common space, second, area ratio between common space and program space and also moving space and staying space, third, space connections were analyzed for tracking the change of the relationship between common, staying and program spaces. The study results demonstrated that types, numbers and area ratio of the common space were increased as the years go on. Especially, the area ratio of staying space was dramatically increased after 2009 and this result was caused by the home-base, alcove space, and hall that were adopted for subject-centered clusters planning after 2009. Connecting diagram of staying area and program spaces also shows the spaces related to staying area were changed from a classrooms and administrative office etc. to a library, gym, and seminar rooms etc. In case of staying area, it would have a value as a common space for various student activities such as group activities, meetings, and multi-uses. Because student activities would be changed and encouraged depending on the location, sizes and program spaces around staying area, it should be emphasized that the planning for staying area is critical for future school design.

강원도 교과교실제 운영 중학교의 공간종류별 공간구성 및 면적 분포에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Composition and Distribution of Departmentalized Classroom System in Middle School in Gangwon-Do)

  • Departmentalized Classroom System is new school operating system to apply social needs. Recent social needs are characterized as learning environment and self-learning system. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for equal learning environment condition in middle school applying departmentalized classroom system. This study has progressed through analyzing on 11 remodelling case of middle school in Gangwon-Do. The method of this study is visiting middle schools that operate the system, grasping the condition for environment composition, and investigating and analyzing practical use of the environment. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1) The space compositions for departmentalized classroom system are generally desirable, but some schools take irrational space composition, especially on home base-teacher laboratory, classroom-teacher laboratory. 2) The space area distributions are different in every school. This result is based on not taking standard criterion on space area distribution.
