융합화 모델 개발을 위한 초고층 주거 커뮤니티 공간 분석 (An Analysis of Community Space of High-rise Housing for Convergence Model)

  • The Purpose of this paper is to analyze of community space of high-rise housing as a basic research towards developing a model of spacial convergence. For this, 10 cases of high-rise housing complexes are compiled. Research methods are as follows. First, through the analysis of 10 high-rise housing complexes, the types of community space program are categorized by concepts. Second, community space plans are analyzed by floor. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, through the analysis of 10 cases, the types of community space program are classified 8 categories : Culture, Health, Leisure, Education, Life-style Assistance, Business Assistance, Open Space, Commercial Facility. Second, community space plans are arranged at the lower floor of the building at a high ratio. Third, the types of convergence model for community programs are suggested by 4 categories : Human, Time, Experience, Local Community. Fourth, community space configuration is categorized by 4 types.

일본의 기계적 무의식과 전통공간디자인의 분열분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Unconscious of Japan and Schizo-Analysis of Japanese Traditional Space Design)

  • This study is an historical consideration about the modern discourse of Japanese spacial tradition driven from cultural background. The purpose of this study is to establish a cartographic map of historical progress, and to shed light on the forming of identity in Japanese traditional space design on the schizo-analytical aspect. It adopts F. Guattari's psychoanalytic theory to the structural analysis of Japanese traditional space design. The process of this study is illustrated as follows: At first, it mentions Guattari's theory of Mechanical Unconscious, Schizo-analysis, Cartography, and Abstract machine as theoretical background. And, it considers the identity of Japanese traditional space constructed by various cultural sign over a long period of time as the statement of apriority. Secondly, it clarifies semiologic generation of Japanese traditional space design based on the analysis of spacial morphemes about each design stemmed from modernization process of Japan. Thirdly, it ascertains semiologic topography the representamens draw, i.e. schizo-analytic cartography from synchronic and diachronic point of view. Fourthly, it analyses traditional discourse structure in terms of generative schizo-analysis and transformational schizo-analysis with four categories- object, style, concept, strategy. Through this process, it studies the reproduction of Japanese tradition in terms of the 'social organization', and explores the way vitalized on the space-time coordinate system by the schizo-analysis of the mechanical unconscious. In conclusion, it clarifies Generative-schizo is accomplished in the level of formulating representamen, and Transformational-Schizo involves experimental mind that induce implantation of the heteromorphic elements and avant-garde experiments of abstract mechanical operation in the schizo-analysis of Japanese traditional space design. The significance of this study is to arrange an opportunity of introspection on Korean-ness seriously from inspecting logic of Japan-ness closely in traditional space design.

한국 우주산업 네트워크에서의 기업위치가 성과에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of a Corporation's Network Position in the Korean Space Industry on Performance)

  • Space development has been led by the state due to huge investment, risks of development failure, and restrictions on international cooperation on technology development and transfer. For this reason, it has been developed mainly by some advanced countries and industrial network formed among them. However, Korean space industry is being promoted by the successful launch of 'KSLV-I' and 'CAS 500-I' and the space launch vehicle "KSLV-II" under development. Recently, Korea and U.S. agreed to end bilateral missile guidelines. Therefore it is expected that development of Korean space industry will be accelerated due to the disappearance of the constraining factors for the development of space launch vehicles. Accordingly, this study examined the development and formation of the Korean space industry through the framework of network analysis. Based on this, the effect of structural position in the industrial network as a resource on the performance of Korean space companies was examined. Panel analysis was applied. Through this study, ideas for fostering the domestic space industry and implications for national policy related with building an industrial ecosystem are derived. It contributes to the development of space industry in Korea.

  • The museum has steadily been evolved by time with its function and social idea differently. As the museum makes its evolution, its architecture has also been changed. This study aims to find out the characteristics of museum architecture by applying Space Syntax for space correspondence of museum architecture changed by the time. And the characteristics could be used as project guide by making data for building up museum architecture changed by social concept with efficient and functional system. The method of the study is to divide the museum into three generations, and give case for each generation. And the each chosen case was analyzed by convex space of space syntax. The order of the analysis is to divide the case as the unit space, make out the Convex Map. And finally get the analysis variable by carrying out a mathematical operation. The characteristics found in these operations are as follows. First, the major space has been planed for convenience of spectators. Second, exhibition space located on specific area in entire plot planning makes spectators easy to recognize in terms of the line of flow toward exhibition space and also relieves character of major and exhibition space. Third, it is getting hard to comprehend the entire space as forming diverse space in process that museum accepts many request from spectators.

인공우주물체 추적용 완전 개폐형 돔의 설계 및 구조해석 (DESIGN AND STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF DOME ENCLOSURE FOR TRACKING ARTIFICIAL SPACE OBJECTS)

  • We have been making dual dome enclosures which are useful to track artificial space objects at SSNT (Space Science and Technology Lab.) Kyung Hee University. We verified the safety of the dome enclosures using basic design and structure analyses before manufacturing them, and then performed an optimization analysis for economic and safe systems. The dome enclosure has a fully-open type structure to smoothly operate a telescope made in the style of altazimuth mount with very fast tracking. It is also designed to be safe against extreme weather conditions. The general structure of the observatory system consists of the dual dome enclosures at the top of a container. For the structural analyses, we consider the following two methods: (1) gravitational sustain analysis - how the structure supporting the dome withstand the weight of the dome, and (2) wind load analysis that considers the effect of the wind velocity at the region where the observatory is located. The result of overall deformation is found to be less than 0.551mm and the result of equivalent stress is found to be 20.293Mpa, indicating that the dual dome system is reasonably designed. This means structurally to be safe.

현대뮤지엄 건축의 시각동선(視覺動線) 특성에 관한 연구 - 공간구문론(Space Syntax)과 가시장분석(Visibility Graph Analysis)을 중심으로 - (A Study on Characteristics of Modern Museum Architecture's Visual Circulation - Focused on Space Syntax and Visibility Graph Analysis -)

  • This study analyzed characteristics of visual circulation in the modern museum architecture while carrying out space syntax and visibility graph analysis side by side in order to solve problems of visitors' movement having been suggested as the point at issue at modern museum architecture that has become big scaled and layering so as to satisfy various social demands. Also, the result of this analysis is same as followings. First, visitors become to watch the exhibition with clear position that can make themselves in right allocation, and thus visual and perceptual confusions were shown as relatively low in case physical position and visual one were matched at major space of atrium type or mediation space. Second, it was appeared a lot at the museum having exhibition space of room type in case the physical position and visual one were not matched. Visual circulation in the exhibition space of room type has a merit of forming the circulation where free selection is possible. However, it have raised concerns that visual passageway of visitors could be in a stalemate or crash at the opening part, not at the exhibition hall. Third, though analysis of space syntax had a merit of analyzing total modern museum architectures having became compounded and big scaled, but it was dropped in reliability from the visual circulation's analysis that was decided by flows of space and time. In contrary, visibility graph analysis was shown as having a merit to analyzing the flows rather than that of total structure, and also appeared as being able to supplement the disadvantage of space syntax in methodology. Upon the above analysis, a lot of architectural elements such as allocation of exhibition hall, location of door and window etc. were appeared as affecting influences to forming visual circulation of visitors, not to mention of allocations of major space, mediation space, and exhibition one. Through this study, various possibilities of quantitative analysis on the visual circulation in the museum architectures can be confirmed. However, this study expects that in-depth subsequent researches objecting to various museums could be realized afterwards because there are still limitations in its analysis.

소셜 네트워크 분석 방법론을 활용한 1인 주거공간디자인 융합콘텐츠 상관관계 분석 (A Study on Correlation Analysis of One-Person Housing Space Design Convergence Contents by Using Social Network Analysis)

  • 우리나라의 가구구조는 앞으로 1인 가구가 가장 보편적인 가구 유형이 될 것으로 예측되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 급격히 늘어난 1인 가구 주거자의 삶을 총체적으로 고려한 1인 주거 공간을 디자인하기 위한 콘텐츠를 도출하기 위해, 1인 가구 주거를 형성하는 사회·경제·문화적 영향요인 등을 빅데이터 분석을 통해 객관적으로 도출하고, 콘텐츠 간의 상관관계를 소셜 네트워크 분석 방법론을 활용하여 다각적으로 분석하였다. 빅 데이터 분석 방법론을 적용해 1인 주거공간과 관련된 총 60개의 핵심 콘텐츠를 도출하였으며, 소셜네트워크 분석을 통해 가장 영향력이 큰 콘텐츠는 공간의 편집, 공간 구성 카테고리로 도출되었다. 이는 주거공간은 사용자의 삶의 변화에 따라 탄력적으로 대응할 수 있는 디자인 아이디어가 중요한 부분을 차지한다고 볼 수 있다. 앞으로 더욱 구체화된 1인 주거 공간의 컨셉 및 디자인방법론에 대한 연구를 진행하고자 한다.

Research on the Accessibility of Urban Green Space Based on Road Network- A Case Study of the Park Green Space in City Proper of Nanjing

  • Accessibility of urban green space, as an important index of evaluating the service level of urban green space, not only shows the resident's access to green space, but also reflects the environment quality of urban living. Since the quantity, area and space distribution of the patches in urban green space directly affect the function of urban green space and the quality of urban environment, the research on the accessibility of urban green space holds great significance to improve the service of urban green space and the living environment quality. Based on GIS software, this research uses the road network and the population distribution data of Nanjing's city proper to conduct quantitative analysis of the accessibility of park green space and the convenience for residents to travel under different forms of transportation. After the case analysis, the author tests the application of road network in studying the accessibility of urban park green space and proposes a GIS-based method to study the accessibility and the rational layout of urban green space.

  • This study is to a question in argument that existing theses about a trait spatial configuration of exhibition space were analyzed without appropriateness verification of analysis characteristics. Firstly, through theoretical studies of established thesis, validity twenty analysis characteristics was chosen by making an investigation into existing analysis characteristics. Secondly, through a subject of our investigation, forty-two exhibition space of nineteen museums and art museum at home and abroad, a distribution map of exhibition space was analyzed by multivariate analysis. As a result of this study : 1) Nine analysis characteristics which extracted through multivariate analysis was the principal analysis characteristics. 2) A scale was important characteristic for the classification of museum therefore a degree of space perception was ought to compare every one of similar scale museum. 3) When comparing a trait of spatial configuration at exhibition space, these characteristics came into effect on middle sized museums. 4) It was visually confirmed a trait of spatial configuration of each group between museum and art museum

  • The whole image of circulation occupied with user has duplicated inter-relationship. It means many situation exist simultaneously, and the character of space factors are completed by the inter-relationship of the detailed structure. The purpose of this study is on the proper notation for circulation analysis of the sequential space structure which is constructed by the formal constituent and the change of visual circumstance influence on the action of user. This study investigate the possibility of notation by arranging the analysis method of the visual space and focusing on the research for the visual perception behaviour of user being applied various space, and the possibility of application as a method of space design.
