도로 기하구조에 따른 차량 Microphone 위치별 소음 영향 분석 (Analysis of Vehicle Noise Effect by Microphone Position and Road Geometry)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of study is to understand the characteristic of driving noise from the front and rear tire for effective active noise cancellation application. METHODS : As literature review, noise measurement methods were reviewed. Noise measurement conducted at three kind of section by road slope using CPX(Close Proximity Method). Noise data was compared by total sound pressure level and 1/3 octave band frequency sound pressure level. Also, each section was compared by T-test using SPSS. RESULTS : In the case of the uphill section, it was shown that the sound pressure level of the front tire at Sugwang-Ri and Sinchon-RI sections was higher than that of the rear tire in low and high frequency band. In the case of high slope section of Sangsaek-Ri, the sound pressure level of the front tire was higher than that of the rear tire in high frequency. Also, in the case of the downhill section, it was shown that the sound pressure level of the front tire at Sugwang-Ri and Sinchon-RI sections was higher than that of the rear tire in low frequency band. However, the sound pressure levels of both the front and rear tires were approximately the same in the high slope section of Sangsaek-Ri. The result of T-test showed that total sound pressures of the front and rear tires were not different from each other in the case of high slope and high speed. CONCLUSIONS: Road slope was not an important variable for effective active noise cancellation.

  • As the economy has grown and the main industry in Korea has been changed from secondary industry to tertiary industry, the importance of indoor environment has been a matter of common concern, in which one of the main concerns is to improve the indoor acoustic conditions. However, even though this is required more than before, there are no measures to protect the human being from the noise of electric home appliances. This is owing to the absence of the data about sound power level of electric home appliances. So, we investigate the sound power level of them and analyze the acoustical characteristics of each one. First, we tried to investigate the sound power measurement method of each electric home appliance. After it we test the sound power level of them. From the survey, we can know that the vacuum cleaner is the most noisy electric home appliance, and the refrigerator is the least noisy one. The noise of a range hood is distributed over a wide range frequency. Lastly, we intented to propose the proper method measuring sound power level on each electric home appliance.

음향공명 방음벽 연구 (A Study on the Sound Resonating Barrier)

  • Noise barriers are widely used to reduce the sound level propagating from highways, railways or factories to residential areas. The reduced noise level at a receiver point is then determined by the diffracted waves around the edge of the barrier as well as by the transmitted waves through the barrier. 1'or proper usage, many studies either theoretical or experimental have been made with the objective of precisely Predicting the acoustic field and improving the noise attenuating properties of barriers. In this study. a simple scattering model. a line acoustic source scattered by an infinite cylinder, is introduced to simply Investigate the sound attenuation efficiency of a sound-resonating barrier. From this model study, it is observed that the sound-resonating harrier can be used as a good sound-shielding element especially for the pure-tone noise generated from the transformer. Large sound-attenuation is achieved by applying the sound-resonating barrier to the large transformers in a substation.

  • Rumbling sound is one of the most important interior sound of a passenger car. The conventional rumbling noise research was focused on the reduction of the A-weighted sound pressure level. However A-weighted sound pressure level can not give the whole story about the rumbling sound of a passenger car. In this paper, we employed sound metric which is the subjective parameter used in psycoacoustics. According to recent research results, the relation between sound metrics and subjective evaluation is very complex and has nonlinear characteristics. In order to estimate this nonlinear relationship, artificial neural network theory has been applied to derivation of sound quality index for rumbling sound of a passenger car.

  • The purpose of vehicle horn sound is for warning to pedestrians. In the past, the main development factor is to match the regulation level. But nowadays perceived quality is more important than level itself. In this study, we measure variety horn sound and evaluate its signals through the jury evaluation aimed at making horn sound quality index. Each contribution of the noise path for sound quality is identified and the target values and methods for implementing the luxurious horn sound are suggested. Finally, we developed, horn component and improve horn mounting condition for luxurious horn sound.

  • 발파공법 위주의 공사를 진행하다 보면 민원발생의 대부분을 차지하고 있는 발파공해는 소음과 진동이다. 이로 인해 발파설계시 안정성을 가장 우선적으로 고려하며, 그중에서도 수중소음을 제어하기 위한 노력이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 발파로 인한 공사 작업이 진행될 때 거리와 지발당장약량을 적용하여 수중음압을 예측하고 그 수중음압을 이용하여 얻은 수중음압레벨 예측값의 타당성을 검토해 보기 위해 실제 측정한 지역과 다른 지역에서 검증을 하여 실제 측정값과 예측값을 비교해 보았다.

  • 소음이란 듣고 싶지 않거나 시끄러운 소리로 정의될 수 있다. 이동전화 벨소리가 특정한 상황에서 너무 크다면 소음으로 간주된다. 이동전화 벨소리의 특정한 수준을 소음으로 분류하기 위해서는 특정한 상황에서의 벨소리 수준에 대한 평균호감도를 평가하는 것이 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 이동전화 벨소리의 여러 수준(dBA)에 대한 평균호감도를 벨소리의 종류(벨/멜로디), 성별(남/녀), 장소(거리/사무실)에 대하여 평가한다.

소형어선의 소음에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Airborne Noise of the Small Fishing Boats)

  • In full-speed cruising, the airborne sound pressure levels are measured from 11 small fishing boats operated around Cheju Island. In these measurement, 9 measuring positions are selected in each fishing boats. The results of measurements and analyses are as follows: 1. The sound pressure levels in FRP boats are higher than those in wooden boats. 2. The highest sound pressure level is 112dB(A) at the engine room in C boat, while the lowest one is 72dB(A) at the front deck in K boat. 3. The highest sound pressure level is shown to be in the frequency band less than 500Hz. 4. The highest sound pressure level is shown to be in the frequency band less than 500Hz. 5. Through all 9 positions, the sound pressure levels are higher in B and C boat and lower in E and K boats.
