The present study was conducted to analyze high school students' attitudes toward jean brand counterfeits relative to their self-esteem and self-consciousness. The study was implemented through a normative-descriptive survey using questionnaire. The sample consisted of 605 high school students from 6 high schools located in Seoul. Data were analyzed by mean, cluster analysis, regression, ANOVA and Duncan's test. The results were as follows: (1) As a whole, the mean values of preference and purchasing intentions toward counterfeit jeans were 2.99 and 2.83, respectively, indicating a slightly low average on the 5-point Likert scale. The results indicated that 45.5% of respondents have more than one item of counterfeit jeans. (2) Differences were found in the level of self-esteem and public self-consciousness among the three groups, who were classified by the level of purchasing intention and preference toward counterfeit jeans. Among the three groups (high/middle/low), the group having low purchasing intention and preference toward counterfeit jeans showed higher self-esteem and public self-consciousness than the other two groups. (3)Regression analysis showed that the self-esteem and public self-consciousness of high school students have an impact on the amount of purchasing of counterfeit jeans. (4)In the process of developing effective policies against the jean brand counterfeits market, it should be fully considered that high school students' purchasing intentions regarding jean brand counterfeits are related to their self-consciousness. It could be said that the policies followed to eliminate counterfeits and to enhance the consumer ethics of high school students will be more effective when those policies are accompanied by efforts to form their sound self-consciousness, especially in the areas of self-esteem and public self-consciousness.

Purpose : The present study attempted to consider the degree of consciousness of economic ethics in nursing students and the factors affecting these perceptions. Method : A survey was conducted to a total of 874 nursing students from the freshmen and seniors of 11 depts of nursing science nationwide selected by convenience sampling (one for each province, and as for Gangwon-do, two schools were selected from Yeongdong area and Yeongseo area ; 13 male students were excluded). A structured questionnaire was used to collect data on their demographic characteristics and economic ethical perceptions. Collected data were analyzed using the SAS V8.1 statistical package. Result : (1) The score for the economic ethical consciousness of the subjects was $36.76{\pm}10.20$. As for each sub-categories, the score for industry was $7.67{\pm}2.77$; thrift, $7.42{\pm}2.37$; cooperation, $7.41{\pm}2.21$; occupational consciousness, $7.18{\pm}2.20$; and, for consumption, $7.02{\pm}1.90$. The score for the consciousness of consumption was the lowest. (2) Among the demographic characteristics of the subjects, age was found to have a statistically significant positive relation to the consciousness of economic ethics(r=.13, p<.001). The next significant factor was grade: seniors seemed to have a higher economic consciousness in all the sub-categories than freshmen(t=-4.32, p<.001). The number of in-home family has a statistically significant negative correlation with economic attitudes(r=-.15, p<.001). In addition, their economic ethical perceptions were significantly higher with no religion (t=2.14, p<.05); have an unemployed father (t=2.78, p<.05); have credit cards under their own names (t=3.04, p<.05); have ever had overdue card bills (t=4.25, p<.001); have ever had part time job(t=1.74, p<.1) and when they don't live with their parents (t=-2.01, p<.05). 3) A multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the influential power of the factors affecting the consciousness of economic ethics of the subjects. The factors had more influence on the economic attitudes of the seniors than those of freshmen; in those who having credit cards under their own names than under others; and, in those who have ever experienced credit default than those haven't. Though these factors raised average 3.0 points of economic consciousness, their expository power for the consciousness were low. Conclusion : The nursing students had medium-high consciousness of economic ethics and they seemed to have low consciousness of the proper consumption practices. Their actual life experiences had an influence on their economic attitudes. Therefore, practical programs on economic knowledge should be developed and taught to students systematically at school so that they could have sound consciousness of economic ethics and appropriate knowledge closely related with their real life.

Environmental noise in the residential area is appeared with different types and features along with the growth of society. In particular when the economic level is raised up, the demand of residents for the environmental noise becomes more sensitive. The existing research on the environmental noise was initiated in the 1980's and resulted that the children's jumping sound was most annoying among the noises transmitted from the other unit. This result caused such activities that the researches were focused on the floor impact noise and that the laws in relation to environmental noise within residential area were revised strictly. This study aimed to survey the consciousness of residents for the environmental noise and to see how it is changed comparing with the previous one. Ultimately this result could be useful to establish the target for research or noise control to make the comfortable residential environment.
The present research examined the contribution of sounds′ familiarity to auditory distance perception, while attempting to control the influences of unavoidable physical characteristics among sounds. Different vocal "styles" ("shouts", "whispers" and "a normal conversation") of man and woman were recorded digitally and presented from a stationary loudspeaker to blindfolded listeners in a semi anechoic chamber. Playback levels were adjusted to remove extraneous sound level cues. The results showed that the shouting voice was judged as appearing farthest, the whispering voice closest, and the conversational voice was intermediate. The findings suggested that the perception of auditory distance may be affected by past experience (or familiarity).
This study aimed to show the possibility of approaching Steven Holl's Stretto House as a vital space identical to the flow of our consciousness through Bergson's philosophy of life by understanding the expression of Bergsonian duration in the house. For the Purpose of this study, Bergson's concept of aesthetic duration was considered and duration in the Stretto House design process was analyzed, Based on the study's findings, duration according to Bergson's expression of reality in the Stretto House was further analyzed. The results of the analysis of duration in the Stretto House design process showed that duration is expressed as phenomenological time through the continuity and movement of the perceptual phenomena of space, sound, light and material that reflected Merleau-Ponty's anchoring and Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta. The results of the analysis of duration as an expression of reality in the Stretto House showed that duration is expressed as real time, as reality's continuous and diverse movement of vital duration, through the image and rhythm based on the intuitive recollection of the real self, sound, light and pond. Consequently, it was shown that the Stretto House could be understood as a vital space in which a vital movement of duration identical with the flow of our consciousness is expressed through the expression of reality in Bergson's philosophy of life. This study is meaningful as a foundational study of the experiential space of phenomena through Bergson's philosophy of life.

In this study, we will see the similarity between his originality in black jazz field and 'Stream of consciousness' in 20th century's english literature. It is hard to verify how these two arts affect each other, and it is also very interesting to see the resemblance between jazz and the literature in their forms of expression. Especially, a jazz artist should have common understanding with english literature in the way of the expression, we are to pay more attention to the different form of the artistic works and study more about them to express in our way.

Purpose: Since 2006, social, ethical, and institutional options have been attempted in Korea to establish research ethics; however, the effectiveness of these attempts has not been thoroughly examined. Studies have been conducted abroad to determine the timeliness of social, ethical and institutional alternatives, such as the adoption of laws governing research ethics, the improvement of research ethics education, the bolstering of systems, the introduction of incentive programs, and the creation of social environments that support research ethics. Research design, data, and methodology: Specific facets of research misconduct or research ethics must be investigated and verified. Aspects of moral growth at the person level must be investigated via research ethics and research ethics education. Results: There is an increasing need for the general public to define and uphold research ethics as the impact of research findings on society grows. Researchers can boost their confidence in their ethical judgments and actions by being aware of research ethics. This may lead to confidence in their capacity to make morally sound decisions. Conclusion: By doing this study, the researcher confirmed that ethically correct behavior can lead to and realize self-growth. Researchers may be more interested in and dedicated to their work when they feel that their research might help them mature and develop ethically.
