국내외 방음벽 관련 연구동향 분석 및 개발 방향 (Analysis of Research Trend and Development Direction on Domestic and International Noise Barriers)

  • 최근 국내 거주지역의 다변화와 고속도로와의 근접성을 고려한 선호되는 위치의 변화로 인해 방음벽에 대한 수요 및 설치에 대한 필요성이 그 어느 때보다 증대되고 있다. 하지만, 방음벽의 설치에도 불구하고, 도로로부터 발생되는 소음에 대한 민원은 지속되고 있는 실정이다. 또한, 이미 설치된 방음벽에서도 황변, 먼지침착, 충격파괴 등의 유지, 보수에 대한 어려움이 제기되고 있다. 이로 인해 위에서 제시된 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 새로운 소재를 이용 또는 새로운 개념의 방음벽에 대한 연구필요성이 제시되고 있다. 본 연구는 새로운 소재의 개발, 부가기능의 첨가, 또는 설계의 다변화를 통해 기존의 방음벽이 안고 있는 기술적, 경제적 문제점을 해결하기 위한 새로운 방음벽 개발의 첫 단계로 기존의 국내외 방음벽과 관련된 기 수행된 연구동향을 분석하고 이에 따라 향후 개발방향에 대해서 모색하였다.

방부제 CCA로 처리된 목재를 사용한 계단, 데크 및 방음벽에 인접한 토양에서 크롬, 구리 및 비소의 분포 (Distributions of Chromium, Copper, and Arsenic in Soils Adjacent to Stairs, a Deck, and a Sound Barrier Constructed with a Wood Preservative CCA-Treated Timbers)

  • 목재 방부제인 chromated copper arsenate(CCA)는 박테리아, 곰팡이 및 곤충에 의한 공격으로부터 목재 제품을 보호할 목적으로 널리 사용되어 왔다. 그렇지만, CCA의 유해 성분인 크롬, 구리 및 비소가 사용 중에 목재로부터 환경으로 배출되어 인간 및 생태계에 영향을 줄 수 있기 때문에 많은 나라에서 사용을 금지하거나 제한된 용도로만 사용하도록 하고 있다. 이 연구는 두 개의 목재 시설물에 인접한 토양에서 크롬, 구리 및 비소의 분포를 알아보고자 실시하였다 연못 진입시설물에 대해서는 계단 바로 인접한 지점에서부터 0, 0.5 및 1m의 수평 거리에서 10개의 표토(0-2.5 cm) 시료를, 그리고 데크 바로 아래 지점에서는 9개의 표토 시료를 채취하였다. 방음벽에서는 시설물로부터 0, 1 및 2 m 거리에서 9개의 표토를 채취하였다. 각 구조물에 대해 배경농도를 측정하기 위한 토양시료도 채취하였다. 토양시료는 pH, 전기전도도, 유기물 함량, 입도 등의 물리화학적 성질에 대해 분석하였다. 시료는 microwave oven을 사용하여 추출한 후에 크롬, 구리 및 비소에 대해 분석하였다. 세 성분 모두 구조물과 인접한 지역에서 배경 지역에 비해 농도가 증가하여 사용 중에 목재로부터 용출되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 용출된 성분은 계단과 방음벽 시설물에서 모두 1m 이내의 거리까지 수평 이동하였다. 약 7개윌 된 데크 시설물에서 세 성분의 용출된 양은 서로 비슷하였으나 (배경 보정 농도: 크롬, 5.01 mg/kg; 구리 5.50 mg/kg; 비소 4.19 mg/kg), 방음벽 바로 아래(0 m)에서는 데크에 비해 더 높은 농도로 비소(49.7 mg/kg)>구리(44.7 mg/kg)>크롬(52.5 mg/kg)의 순서로 측정되었다. 이 때 배경농도는 비소, 구리 및 크롬에 대해 각각 9.88, 30.8 및 46.5 mg/kg이었다. 이 연구 결과를 통해 CCA 구성 성분은 방부목재로부터 환경 중으로 용출되는 것을 알 수 있었으며 그 성분들이 인간과 생태계에 미칠 악영향을 평가할 필요가 있음을 시사하였다.

개선된 럼블스트립의 현장적용에 따른 사후 소음특성 평가 (Evaluation on Noise Characteristics by Field Application of Improved Rumble Strip)

  • PURPOSES : This research investigates traffic noise characteristics as change the transverse rumble strips shape from rectangular to cylinder at toll plaza of highway. METHODS : The traffic noise was investigated at two different places at toll plaza of highway. One is modified grooving, another is employed cylinder shape of TRS instead of rectangular shape of TRS. A measurement of traffic noise was conducted at same location and time period. The traffic volume information was gotten from office of highway office and vehicle speed was measured by speed measuring device. The traffic noise measurement was conducted from 13:00 to 23:00 and by pass-by method. Also, the traffic noise was measured behind noise barrier. Various distance from noise barrier(7.5m, 30m, 50m) and different heights(1.2m, 3m, and 5m) were parameter for measurement of traffic noise in this study. RESULTS : The class 1 vehicle was contributed from traffic volume which was increased 1,500. However, the distribution of traffic speed didn't change compare to previous investigated period. From this study, It was found that the external traffic noise was changed as function of geometric shape of TRS. The external noise from modified grooving was less than 1.2dB(A) of the current TRS. A difference of traffic noise was 20dB(A) before and after barrier. It came from a noise barrier effect as reduction of traffic noise. According to investigate a traffic noise distribution near barrier, there is similar noise characteristic as function of height at 7.5m distance from noise barrier. Also, There is no different traffic noise between 30m and 50m from source of the noise of sound barrier. CONCLUSIONS : Based on this traffic noise investigation result, there is a clear characteristic difference as changed TRS shape. The traffic noise was reduced by changed TRS shape. Specially, traffic noise was decreased although the traffic volume was increase for same investigation time and period. It is implied that cylinder type of TRS significantly reduces the traffic noise. The specification of various TRS will be studied in the future.

3차원 소음예측모델 및 입력변수 변화에 따른 도로소음 예측결과 검토에 대한 연구 (A Study for Examination of Road Noise Prediction Results According to 3-d Noise Prediction Models and Input Parameters)

  • The application of a 3-d noise prediction model is increasing as a tool for performing actual noise assessment in order to investigate the noise impact of the residential facility around a development region. However, because the appropriate plans of applying a 3-d noise prediction model is insufficient, it is important to secure the reliability of the noise prediction results generated by a 3-d noise prediction model. Therefore, this study is focused on examining a 3-d noise prediction model, and a prediction equation and input data in it. For this, the 3-d noise prediction models such as SoundPLAN, Cadna-A, IMMI is applied in road noise. After the contents of road noise equations, input data of road noise source, and input data of road noise barrier are understood, the road noise prediction results are compared and examined according to the variation of 3-d noise prediction model, road noise equation, and input data of road noise source and road noise barrier.

To analyze this noise scientifically, construction noise prediction program was developed in 1998 and 2005 but it is too difficult to apply program in field because there is few soundproof facilities and it can't understand the coordinate system and so on. The aim of this study is to develop noise prediction program to apply in construction sites. For this, the problems of existing program was analyzed and survey was performed to get requestion of field overseer and upgraded program. To get reliability of program, it was compared with sound measurement value in field. As a result, construction sound prediction program have various soundproof facilities data than existing program. It can also analyze multi receiver point at the same time for several construction machinery. Most of all, it is more powerful to set receiver or source in the axis of X, Y, Z. so program user can make use of it easily. An average of difference is -0.9$\sim$1.8dB.

  • It has been noted that the low frequency absorption coefficient of a porous sample placed in a standing wave tube is affected by the nature of the sample's edge constraint. The edge constraint has the effect of stiffening the solid phase of the sample, which itself can be strongly coupled to the material's fluid phase, and hence the incident sound field, by viscous means at low frequencies. In recent work it has also been shown that such a circumferential constraint causes the low frequency transmission loss of a layer of fibrous material to approach a finite low frequency limit that is proportional to the flow resistance of the layer and which is substantially higher than that of an unconstrained sample of the same material. However, it was also found that the benefit of the circumferential edge constraint was reduced in a transitional frequency range by a shearing resonance of the sample. Here it will be shown that the effect of that resonance can be mitigated or eliminated by adding additional axial and radial constraints running through the sample. It will also be shown that the constraint effect can be modeled closely by using a finite element procedure based on the Biot poroelastic theory. Implications for low frequency barrier design are also discussed.

치유의숲 소리, 경관, 소리경관(soundscape)에 따른 선호도 및 심리적 회복감 분석 (Analysis of Preference and Psychological Recovery by Sound, Scenery, Soundscape in Healing Forest)

  • This study investigates sound, scenery, and soundscape preferences, which are sensory factors that users feel in a healing forest, comparing the difference in recovery by the soundscape. In the barrier-free, wooden walking path of the National Daegwallyeong Healing Forest, a survey site with five different conditions was selected. Users prefer water sounds the most and places with open views for scenery. For the complex sensation of soundscapes, the most preferred is a space where water sounds can be heard, and either a waterfall or an open view can be seen. A profile of mood states test was use to compare users' psychological recovery by the soundscape. It was found that users felt the most positive mood with water sounds and open views. In addition, users' preference for artificial sounds, scenery, and soundscape was the lowest. In the mood state test, it was found that the artificial soundscape incited the most negative emotions.

  • 사람의 청각에 영향을 미치는 구역에 설치된 가전용품 및 기계에서 발생하는 소음을 저감하는 것은 중요하다. 특히 선박의 기관실에서 발생하는 소음은 저감이 불가능한 것으로 알려져 개선의 정도가 미미할 뿐 아니라 작업자의 청력손실이 발생하는 최악의 작업환경에 놓여져 있는 실정이다. 그러나 최근에 발전되고 있는 모니터링설비와 지능제어시스템을 이용하면 기관실의 주 엔진을 개방 해 둘 필요가 없어지게 되었다. 따라서 주 엔진의 주변을 흡음 및 차음벽으로 차단하여 기관실의 소음을 개선할 수 있는 계기가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소음을 흡수할 수 있는 차음벽의 성능을 높이기 위해 헬름홀츠 공영기의 원리를 적용한 흡음벽에 대하여 연구하였다.

Growth Behavior of Thermally Grown Oxide Layer with Bond Coat Species in Thermal Barrier Coatings

  • The effects of bond coat species on the growth behavior of thermally grown oxide (TGO) layer in thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) was investigated through furnace cyclic test (FCT). Two types of feedstock powder with different particle sizes and distributions, AMDRY 962 and AMDRY 386-4, were used to prepare the bond coat, and were formed using air plasma spray (APS) process. The top coat was prepared by APS process using zirconia based powder containing 8 wt% yttria. The thicknesses of the top and bond coats were designed and controlled at 800 and $200{\mu}m$, respectively. Phase analysis was conducted for TBC specimens with and without heat treatment. FCTs were performed for TBC specimens at $1121^{\circ}C$ with a dwell time of 25 h, followed by natural air cooling for 1 h at room temperature. TBC specimens with and without heat treatment showed sound conditions for the AMDRY 962 bond coat and AMDRY 386-4 bond coat in FCTs, respectively. The growth behavior of TGO layer followed a parabolic mode as the time increased in FCTs, independent of bond coat species. The influences of bond coat species and heat treatment on the microstructural evolution, interfacial stability, and TGO growth behavior in TBCs are discussed.
