With the advent of 21st century, the economic and cultural value of the tourism became more important than ever. And many countries have been aware of the importance of it and trying to promote it. In the railway industry, the sightseeing train is the most crucial element. It can be used as a means of transportation for the tourism or can be the objective of the tourism itself. The sightseeing train can contribute to improve the level of the national leisure life, to fill the cultural gap among the regions, to make foreign exchanges, or to accelerate cultural exchanges among countries. So, I would like to present some guidelines on the development of the sightseeing train through the research on the sorts, the designs and the services of the sightseeing trains operated in Korea or other countries.

The following results were come out after the careful study on the rational application of dental surveyor in the clinic 1. The adequate path of placement satisfying guiding plane, retention non-interference and esthetics. 2. The location of clasp arm and the accurate under cut position and amount of clasp tip can be judged. 3. In case that the model needs to be mounted to the surveyor, the exactly same location can be attained by the means of the tripoding. 4. The unnecessary undercut areas in the path of placement and removal car be corrected. 5. The surveyor is essential in manufacturing dental prosthesis and it can also carry out all sorts of prospective designs In terms of the diagnosis and treatment.

The purpose of this study was (1) to explore the diffusion process of household capital goods(2) to examine the economic and social factors influencing on the diffusion process and to discuss whether the household capital goods would be introduced for the efficiency of housework. For the purpose this study made use of all sorts of literature. The results were summarized as follows: Household capital goods were developed about the time of 1960's and were spreaded in 1980's In this course such socio-economic factors as the development of electronic industry the price change of household capital goods and services the decrease of employed housekeepers and the increase of income level in fluenced on the diffusion process. It seemed that houehold capital goods were not introduced only for the efficiency of housework.

Snow removal system is named for machinery which manages roads for passing of pedestrians and automobiles when snow is piled up on the road. This paper studies configuration design of snow removal system that has several functions-melting snow in the street without moving it to other place, transferring snow to the melter and cleaning road by spraying water for cleaning road. These sorts of functions are analyzed by function decomposition method of Kirshman and Fadel and, based upon which, machine parts are selected. Layout design would follow functional design to testify if the selected component satisfies space which is allowed by constraints.

In the event of fire, the tendency of over­buildings and high­building resulted from the concentration in population in cities causes great losses of human lives and property. Man is able to prevent fire itself from taking place on his own efforts. One of fire preventions at high­buildings is to Survey the environmental situations around the constructions from the beginning, and when the construction is going on, it is indispensable to install appropriate water­proof dampers with all sorts of equipments. Hence, lots of the owner's investment of the buildings in fire prevention facilities is necessary and, so is constructions in agreement with every regulations.

Recently power plants and oil refineries are focusing on capacity enlargement for better efficiency through higher temperature and higher pressure. Thickness of boiler tubes becomes lessened due to oxidation and erasion caused by high temperature bums gas flowing over tubes outside. Accordingly, mechanical stress of tubes is increasing and that is a critical factor to make a crack and fracture. To prevent those sorts of accidents, aging assessment for proper periodic repair and replacement should be conducted reliably and reasonably. We performed IIT test on Cr-Mo steel, one of the most heat-resistant materials for facilities in power plants, and we report the test result and the considerable effectiveness of IIT test.

The purpose of this paper is to de31 with the sorts, significances and characteristics of the devices embroiderered on the ritual dreses(hwarot), skirts and embroidered-cushions among the relics of Princess Bok-On(A.D. $1818{\sim}1834$), the second daughter of King Soon-Jo(A.D. $1790{\sim}1834$) in the Yi Dynasty. Her ritual dresses(hwarot)adopt the devices of Buddhism style, Taoism one, Chinese one and Korean one together in mixture, and have no letter-devices in embroidering treasure-devices. Her skirts have the ornament signifying the Orientalism, and express the spiritual world symbolically and artistically. Her embroidered-cushions make harmonization of Confucianism and Buddhism on the splendid base-cloth, and create a unique art style of Korea.

Biosurfactants produced by Pseudomonas aeroginosa KK-7 were purified and their properties were studied. The bacterial surfactant was seperated into two sorts of biosufactants (Type I, 11) by silica gel column chromatograpgy. On the basis of physiochemical analysis, Type I was found to be mixture of two glycolipids with M.W. 800, and Type II was peptide with M.W. 1300. The Type 11 biosurfactant was compose of glutamic acid, proline, glycine, leucine, histidine. The crude extract was used to dertermine some properties as a surfactant. The biosurfactant had the properties as stronger emulsification agent and a stronger stabilizing agent emulsion than any other surfactants tested.

Recently, many enterprises wish to preoccupy competitive positions in the market by motivating themselves towards CALS(Commerce At Light Speed) and try hard to achieve system implementation with the use of new concept-based backbone systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) or PDM(Product Data Management). However, unfortunately there is an inevitable discrepancy during implementation period between package vendors and customers due to lack of clear methodology and misunderstanding about system. In some cases, consensus on partially verified system design invokes customers'continuous change demands and often it tends to result in unnecessary project delays. PDM application system implementation project of the company L has been studied here to solve these sorts of problems. The major yields of this work are achievement of a willing approval from customers and rapid system design under a time-limited and conceptually defined project scope and finally, through fully verified system design, we were able to reach successful system implementation.

Effectiveness is a major concern in organizations of all sorts. Library researchers have been particularly active recently in trying to define, measure, and promote library effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to place library effectiveness in the context of theoretical and empirical work on organizational effectiveness. Four major approaches to organizational effectiveness can be identified. The goal model defines an effective organizations as one that meets its goals. The system resource model emphasizes the organization's need to acquire resources from its environment. The process model sees organizations as social systems seeking to survive and maintain their equilibrium. The multiple constituencies defines effectiveness as the degree to which the needs and expectations of strategic constituencies are met. These models are not necessarily contradictory but may be seen as emphasizing different aspects of organizational performance or values. This study also reports four findings of the library effectiveness. They are significant as the empirical investigation into the dimensions of the construct of library effectiveness. The result shows that organizational effectiveness of libraries is, indeed, a multidimensional construct, implying that no single measure of effectiveness is sufficient to describe an organization.
