SNS 사용자 이동 영향요인 연구: SNS 피로감과 이주이론을 중심으로 (The Study of SNS Users' Switching Behavior: In the Perspective of SNS Fatigue and Migration Theory)

  • Purpose Although companies occupied the network market take the advantageous position first and can be successful in securing users over a certain size, it is important to satisfy the customers' demand and prevent the outflow of users toward a new alternative SNS. What is more, there are frequent changes in the flow of users toward new SNSs. Despite these dynamic market circumstances, there is a lack of research to explain the switching behaviors of SNS users. Design/methodology/approach The objective of this study is to explain and verify a specified migration theory(Push-Pull-Mooring model) focused on SNS fatigue in the psychological point of view, as well as reviewing previous studies on functional and technical characteristics of SNSs themselves. Moreover, this study tried to highlight factors affecting users actual SNS switch rather than their switching intention. Findings According to the statistical analysis, the most influenced pull factor to switch SNS was the alternative attractiveness. On the other hand, undesired relationship burden, service innovation and important mooring factors to prevent users' SNS switch. This study has a significant contribution to the theory, which analyzed users' actual SNS switch, and examined SNS users' psychological factors(SNS fatigue), reviewing the characteristics of existing services. To secure more users and to keep them, companies providing social network service need to develop differentiated strategies by analyzing psychological characteristics of various users.

소셜 네트워크 서비스의 속성 : 분류와 비교 (Attributes of Social Networking Services : A Classification and Comparison)

  • Since a social networking service (SNS) isconsidered as an effective means to communicate and interact with customers, companies are trying to utilize SNS effectively. There is a lack of theory relating to the attributes of SNS. This study aims to investigate the attributes of SNS to classify SNS. Based on the social network theory, and previous studies on internet, blog, homepage, communication attributes, this study proposes the seven attributes to classify SNS: interaction, communication, entertainment, information, sharing, intimacy and connection. A pre-test, a pilot test and a main test are conducted. In the main test, 239 SNS users are participated. Through a factor analysis this study verifies the seven attributes of SNS. An analysis of variance with multiple comparisons of $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ method identifies that three attributes, interaction, communication and connection, are found to play significant roles to differentiate SNS. Looking at the overall mean values of the SNS by attribute, interaction, sharing, entertainment, intimacy and communication were relatively high in Facebook. Facebook showed higher values in attributes of interaction, sharing, entertainment, intimacy and communication. Twitter shows the relatively high scores for information and connection. Regarding interaction, Facebook shows higher scores than Twitter and Cyworld. For connection, Cyworld showed a significantly lower score than Twitter and Facebook. Cyworld was separated from the others in the light of communication. Cyworld is relatively weak in communication as it is limited to the message exchanges. The results will help in identifying major attributes for each SNS and classifying SNS.

Establishing the Process of Spatial Informatization Using Data from Social Network Services

  • Prior knowledge about the SNS (Social Network Services) datasets is often required to conduct valuable analysis using social media data. Understanding the characteristics of the information extracted from SNS datasets leaves much to be desired in many ways. This paper purposes on analyzing the detail of the target social network services, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube to establish the spatial informatization process to integrate social media information with existing spatial datasets. In this study, valuable information in SNS datasets have been selected and total 12,938 data have been collected in Seoul via Open API. The dataset has been geo-coded and turned into the point form. We also removed the overlapped values of the dataset to conduct spatial integration with the existing building layers. The resultant of this spatial integration process will be utilized in various industries and become a fundamental resource to further studies related to geospatial integration using social media datasets.

SNS의 사회인지요인이 사용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Social Cognitive Factors on the Usage of SNS)

  • Internet has begun various transformation and innovation in terms of society, culture and industry. Today, Social Network Service(SNS) is an exceedingly popular and useful tool for making human relationships. Previous studies related to SNS, which based on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM), were focused on user acceptance of new technology. However, they had the limitations to focus on technology acceptance, without the consideration of the cognitive factors in using SNS. This study examined how the main factors of intention to use of SNS continuously affect perceived usefulness and ease of use through familiarity, self-expression, hedonic shopping value, utilitarian shopping value and personal relationship. The results of hypothesis testing showed that familiarity, self-expression, hedonic shopping value and personal relationship have some positive impacts on the perceived usefulness and ease of use. The practical contribution of this study is to suggest useful decision alternatives concerned to marketing strategies for acquiring and retaining long-term customers related to SNS business.

온라인 환경에서 친교욕구가 시민행동에 끼치는 영향 (Examining the Impact of Online Friendship Desire on Citizenship Behavior)

  • In line with network technology development and smart device penetration, the social network service (SNS) has expanded its influence. The SNS which is a service based on communication and sharing among people, has grown based on users' voluntary engagement and participation and its influence has appeared beyond the cyberspace into the overall areas of domestic and foreign culture and society. In particular, SNS-based real-time communication during diverse disasters, can help prevent further damage. By sharing information on social donation activities and environmental campaigns, people have used SNS as a tool to change the society in a more positive way. Such series of activities functioning as a power to change the society have been made much faster and wider through the help of a new media called SNS. To better understand such trends, we are required to study about the SNS and its user relationships first. In this context, this study sought to identify the effects of people's desire to build friendships through SNS on the voluntary and society-friendly activities of people. This study considers online pro-social behavior and proposes online citizenship behavior. Citizenship behavior has been examined in organization context. That is, organizational citizenship behavior explains an employee's pro-social behavior in an organization context. Organizational citizenship behavior is characterized by the individual's helping others and promoting the functioning of the organization. By applying organizational citizenship behavior to an online context, we propose online citizenship behavior, an individual's pro-social behavior in an online context. An individual's pro-social behavior, i.e., online citizenship behavior, could be considered as a way for the better management of online community and society. It also needs to examine the development of online citizenship behavior. This study examined online citizenship behavior from the friendship desire. Because online society or community is characterized by online relationships between members, the friendship between members would lead to pro-social behavior, i.e., helping others and promoting the functioning of the online society, in such online context. This study further examines the antecedents of friendship desire in terms of SNS interactivity with its four factors. The findings based on the survey from real SNS users explain that the three factors of SNS interactivity (connectivity, enjoyment, and synchronicity) increases online friendship desire which then increases online citizenship behavior significantly. This study contributes to the literature by examining the key role of online friendship desire in leading to online citizenship behavior and identifying its antecedents in terms of SNS characteristics. The findings in this study also provide guidance on how to manage online society and how to promote the effective functioning of SNS.

App 게임 내 통합관리 소셜 네트워크 엔진 개발 (Development of Integrated Management Social Network Engine In App Game)

  • 카카오톡, 페이스북 등의 소셜 네트워크 서비스(Social Network Service: SNS)가 발전함에 따라 이를 기반으로 하는 소셜 네트워크 게임(Social Network Game: SNG)이 지인과 함께 가볍게 즐길 수 있다는 장점을 내세워 유저들로부터 많은 호응을 얻고 있다. 특히 SNG가 갖는 장점은 언제 어디서나 즐길 수 있는 스마트폰 앱에 접목되면서 그 효과가 극대화되고 있다. 이에 많은 개발사들이 앞다투어 SNG 개발에 참여를 하고 있는 상황이지만 다양한 SNS 서비스 플랫폼에 비해 SNG 개발을 위한 공개 엔진은 없는 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 SNS 플랫폼을 통해 공통으로 사용할 수 있는 통합 관리 소셜 네트워크 엔진을 개발하는 과정과 구현된 엔진을 사용하여 디바이스를 통한 그래픽 출력 성능을 실험하였으며, 실험 결과 기존의 SNG와의 속도차이가 없음을 보여 주어 게임 구현하기에 충분함을 입증하였다.

  • In the early stages of a software project, it is critical to understand the needs of the customers and elicit their customer requirements. Various requirements elicitation methods have been proposed. However, existing methods still have the limitations such as a limited number of target customers, limited expression of customers' opinions, and difficulty in collecting the customers' opinions continuously. A novel method for eliciting customer requirements is proposed by utilizing a social network service (SNS), which is a shared source of raw information of the customers' needs and opinions. The proposed method is validated to show its effectiveness in overcoming the limitations of existing methods.

  • 오늘날, 음악 서비스의 새로운 환경이 디지털 음악산업에 변화를 가져왔고. 다양한 형태의 음악 콘텐츠가 제공되고 있다. 따라서, 다양한 콘텐츠 확보가 독점적 경쟁 음악 시장에서 중요하다. 이러한 상황하에서, 웹 2.0은 다양한 소셜네트워크 환경을 제공하고, 소셜네트워크서비스는 기존의 정보중심 인터넷서비스와는 다른 인적관계를 중시한다. 모바일 소셜네트워크서비스는 모바일 기기사용이 증가함에 따라 사회적으로 이슈화 되고 있다. 네오위즈벅스는 음악 특성화된 소셜네트워크서비스인 세이클럽을 운영하는 네오위즈인터넷과 합병했다. 그리고 에스엠 엔터테인먼트와 콘텐츠관련 협약을 체결했다. 따라서, 통합법인은 확보된 디지털 콘텐츠와 소셜네트워크서비스를 연동시키는 비즈니스 모델을 확보, 운용하고 있다. 일반적으로 음악특화 소셜네트워크서비스는 광고기반 비즈니스 모델과 음악추천 시스템을 활용한다. 본 연구는 네오위즈벅스 사례를 소개함으로써, 웹 2.0, 모바일 소셜네트워크서비스, 스마트폰 등을 포함하는 유비쿼터스 환경에 알맞은 음악 유통사의 성공전략을 알아보고자 한다.

보안 우려, 소셜네트워크서비스, 스마트폰 지출과의 관계분석: 잠재성장모형을 중심으로 (The Relationship Analysis of Online Security, Social Network Service, and Smartphone Expenses)

  • 많은 사람들이 온라인에서 뿐만 아니라 스마트폰을 활용하여 친구들과의 의사소통 수단으로 소셜네트워크서비스를 지속적으로 사용하고 있다. 본 연구는 빠르게 성장하고 있는 소셜네트워크서비스의 성장과정을 연구하기 위하여, 온라인 보안 우려, 소설네트워크서비스, 스마트폰 지출 사이의 관계를 살펴본다. 2015년부터 2017년까지의 패널데이터를 기반으로 종단분석을 수행하였고, Amos 17.0을 활용하여 잠재성장모형을 살펴보았다. 분석결과를 보면 온라인 보안 우려 초기치와 변화율은 소셜네트워크서비스 사용의 초기치와 변화율에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 온라인 보안 우려 초기치와 변화율은 스마트폰 지출 초기치와 변화율에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 소셜네트워크서비스 사용의 초기치는 스마트폰 지출의 초기에는 정(+)의 영향력을 가졌지만 변화율에는 의미있는 영향력을 미치지 못하였다. 반면 소셜네트워크서비스 사용의 변화율은 스마트폰 지출의 변화율에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이 연구는 연구자와 실무자들에게 유용한 가이드를 제공할 수 있으며, 패널분석을 통하여 소셜네트워크서비스와 스마트폰 지출과의 관계에 대한 트랜드를 이해할 수 있는 정보도 제공할 수 있다.

스마트폰 환경하에서 소셜 네트워크 분석을 위한 증강현실 기술과 방법론에 관한 연구 (A Study for methodology and argumented reality technology for social network analysis based on smart-phone environment)

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰 환경의 소셜 네트워크 서비스를 다룬다. 모바일 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 증강현실 기술과 결합하여 발전하고 있다. 따라서 증강현실과 소셜 네트워크를 연구 대상으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰에서 고려할 수 있는 소셜 네트워크 분석의 방법론을 소개한다. 소개된 방법론과 항목 그리고 증강현실은 스마트폰의 향후 연구에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
