  • This paper reviews the concept and limits of rural community development, examines the relation between consciousness education and movement, and suggests the model of social consciousness education to rural community movement. Since consciousness education is closely related to social movement methodologically, organizational and systematic community development movements for re-structuring the urban-oreiented policies and education which back up them be followed as natural consequence. Based upon the results of this study, the new paradigm is suggested. As shown in the model, new understanding of urban-rural continuum theory, new roles and concept of social consciousness education should be emphasized to solve the contemporary rural community problems. The organizational community development movement for the rural-oriented policy should be an essential process, and peoples' re-orientation, such as 'breaking stereotype', 'assumming a critical thinking toward social reality' etc., is the indispensible background of successful movement.

  • Mobile phone carriers face challenges from three synergistic dimensions: Wireless, social, and mobile. Despite significant advances that have been made about social networks and human mobility, respectively, our knowledge about the interplay between two layers remains largely limited, partly due to the difficulty in obtaining large-scale datasets that could offer at the same time social and mobile information across a substantial population over an extended period of time. In this paper, we take advantage of a massive, longitudinal mobile phone dataset that consists of human mobility and social network information simultaneously, allowing us to explore the impact of human mobility patterns on the underlying social network. We find that human mobility plays an important role in shaping both local and global structural properties of social network. In contrast to the lack of scale in social networks and human movements, we discovered a characteristic distance in physical space between 10 and 20 km that impacts both local clustering and modular structure in social network. We also find a surprising distinction in trajectory overlap that segments social ties into two categories. Our results are of fundamental relevance to quantitative studies of human behavior, and could serve as the basis of anchoring potential theoretical models of human behavior and building and developing new applications using social and mobile technologies.

  • In this paper the author surveys the available literature on "bioregionalism", a relatively new intellectual tradition evolved from the North American environmental social movements of the 1970s and 1980s. The so-called "bioregional approach" is gaining acceptance among environmental planners in North America and elsewhere, and has attracted the attention of some geographers. (omitted)ographers. • The development of AI systems for radiation therapy is important to improve the accuracy, effectiveness, and safety of cancer treatment. The current system has the disadvantage of monitoring patients using CCTV, which can cause errors and mistakes in the treatment process, which can lead to misalignment of radiation. Developed the PMRP system, an AI automation system that uses depth cameras to measure patient's fine movements, segment patient's body into parts, align Z values of depth cameras with Z values, and transmit measured feedback to positioning devices in real time, monitoring errors and treatments. The need for such a system began because the CCTV visual monitoring system could not detect fine movements, Z-direction movements, and body part movements, hindering improvement of radiation therapy performance and increasing the risk of side effects in normal tissues. This study could provide the development of a field of radiotherapy that lags in many parts of the world, along with the economic and social importance of developing an independent platform for radiotherapy devices. This study verified its effectiveness and efficiency with data through phantom experiments, and future studies aim to help improve treatment performance by improving the posture correction mechanism and correcting left and right up and down movements in real time.

  • Due to the wide growth and popularity of social network website, large numbers of users discover these social network sites are a place where they can be able to spend their leisure time sharing interests, sharing ideas freely, sharing personal experience, and also to search for new friends or partners. These websites give an opportunity for its users to socialize with new people and to keep in touch or reconnect with current or old friends and families across disperse continents, which traditionally replace the common traditional methods. These social network websites need accurate and careful investigations and findings on the usability issues for effective interactivity and more usability. However, little research might have previously invested on the usability of these social network websites. Therefore, we propose a new framework to study and test the usability of these social network sites. We namely call our framework "Interactivity". This framework will enable developers to assess the usability of the social network sites. It will provide an overview of the user's behavior while interacting in these social network websites. Performance of the framework will be performed using Camtasia software. This software will entirely capture the interactivity of users including the screen and the movements, which the screen and the motion of the user action will undergo to analysis at the end of our research.

  • The politico-economic waives of Western imperialism and colonialism, along with Christianity, affected East Asia's geopolitical landscape in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. While the Korean people (of the Joseon Dynasty) witnessed the incompetence of Buddhism, Confucianism, and folk religions in maintaining social cohesion with a sense of frustration, the new religious movements (NRMs) emerged to provide altrnative teachings of hope through historical figures like Choe Je-u, Kang Il-sun (or Kang Jeungsan), Na Cheol, and Pak Chungbin. In terms of popularity, colonial Korea (1910-1940) was impressed by the native groups of Cheondogyo (=Donghak), Bocheongyo, and Mugeukdo. Son Byong-hee (1861-1922) was the third leader of the first Korean NRM, but both Cha Gyeong-seok (1880-1936) and Jo Cheol-Je (= Jo Jeongsan) (1895-1958) participated in the post-Jeungsan grassroots movements. How, then, did both of these new religions originate? How did they conceptualise their deities and interpret their teachings differently? What was their policy for national independence? The article explores the socio-religious leaders, historical origin, organizational structure, deities, teaching and doctrines, patriotism, and conflicts of both NRMs in a comparative context. As such, this article argues that they both maintained patriotic characteristics, but that Cha's Bocheongyo community with its ' 60-executives' system (60 bang) failed to manage their internal conflicts effectively. Meanwhile, Jo Cheol-Je of Mugeukdo had the charismatic leadership needed to maintain Mugeukdo, despite being seen as a pseudoreligion under the colonial pressure of Shintoism.

  • Hair style is an expression of beauty for individuals and at the same time a clear social representation. It may be regarded as a means of knowing social recognition about social values and groups of the moment. The hair style clearly discriminated so-called the new woman, emerged during Chosun's modernization, and the old woman. Thus the purpose of this study is to examine changes in social recognition about the behavioral style of the new woman by relating them with women' s movements and with changes in female education policies. Results of the study can be described as follows. First, the new women in the 1920s were evaluated positive as those who were leading struggles against Japan and enlightenment campaigns. But between the 1920s and the 1930s, those women were thought to be negative in that they were appearance-oriented, extravagant and sticking themselves to reality. Second, how a variety of social figures recognized short-hair was determined here through reviewing the mass media of the 1920s. At that time, some men were positive about short-hair like feminists while others denied the convenience of the hair style in life and were negative about the new women's individualism and pursuance of luxurious appearance. Third, there were both positive and negative social recognitions about short-hair in the 1930s. which were supported by the mass media of that time.
